I AM AVAILABLE TO YOU LORD!!

I AM AVAILABLE TO YOU LORD!! Six words that says it all because once you tell the Master that you ARE AVAILABLE TO HIM, Then it is at that moment you have decided to…..“lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares you, (so that you may) run with endurance the race that is set before you, Heb 12:1

Running with ankle weights to improve A long distance runners ability to run faster and longer at one time was considered A benefit, until further study showed running with ankle weights is detrimental to everything that allows perfect movement in one’s hip, thigh and ankle ligaments.

Also the same with the WEIGHT AND THE SIN of this world that takes us down A path that is detrimental to our relationship with God, the free gift of Salvation , and Eternal Life.  Did you notice in the text that WEIGHT AND SIN are used as two different adjectives.

I believe in this particular text, WEIGHT in its context, would be referring to A common attitude by most individuals even in the Christian community that I need more things in my life even when it has nothing to do with giving God all the Glory, honor, and praise.

And it all has to do with Sin and Satan’s desire that we all lose sight of Christ saving grace, while forgetting “that we only have but a short period of probation, from birth to death in which to prepare for God’s pure and holy kingdom.”

We have allowed Satan to convince us that we have to have everything this world tells us we need, instead of what Christ needs. But as Children of God, before we make any decisions about what we do in life, or obtain, we need to first fall on our knees, and say “I AM AVAILABLE TO YOU LORD.

I see hearts that have been broken, so many people to be free. Now I’m giving back to you, all the tools you gave to me. My hands, my money, my ears, my voice, my eyes, so you can use them as You please. I have emptied out my cup, so that You can fill it up.

Now I’m free, I just want to show someone the way and enable me to say. My storage is empty and I AM AVAILABLE TO YOU LORD.”(Milton Brunson) I HAVE EMPTIED OUT MY CUP, SO YOU CAN FILL IT UP.

My friends that says it all because once you have Died to self and emptied it of everything of this world that has nothing to do with Jesus Christ and Him Crucified Then God’s Spirit Can take control and use you to God’s Glory and Honor, and the finishing up His work here on earth.

Because of the increase of wickedness today, “the love of most has grown cold,” with the world’s only concern is materialism, consumerism, individualism, and apostasy. And as Christians if we have not emptied self  and made OURSELVES  AVAILABLE TO THE LORD we will fall into that same category.

The purpose of the letter to Laodicea church was to tell His Children that, “He knows our works, that you are neither cold nor hot.  Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’ and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked.

But my friends the letter also ends with a glorious, and victorious note. It says, to him that OVERCOMETH will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in His throne. Rev 3:15-17

My friends the key word is OVERCOMETH “for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. “they OVERCAME him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” Rev. 12:10-11

Satan is a defeated foe my friends that is what Calvary was all about. And now we must remove EVERY WEIGHT AND THE SIN that Satan puts before us to ensnare us into following Him to perdition. For “THE GREATEST TRAGEDY WILL BE”! If you never realize that all you owned can not compare to ETERNAL LIFE”

So my friends empty your life of self AND MAKE IT AVAILABLE TO THE LORD “for God has sent you to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn, To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.” Isaiah 61:1-3

“I HAVE GIVEN UNTO THINE HAND”!!!

God has always had A plan for His faithful Children “From In the beginning God created the Heavens and the earth” Gen 1:1

TO “It is finished: and He bowed His Head and gave up the ghost.” John 19:30 

TO “There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it.Matt.28:2

TO “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.” 1 Thess 4:16-18

TO “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”Rev:21-4

TO “Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.” Revelation 20:6,

TO “And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.” Revelation 21:2

Yes my friends God has always had A plan for His faithful Children starting with IN THE BEGINNING. And His promise, and plan for us is “Be confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. Plil 1:6

His plan for our life should always give us A reason to praise His name. The great controversy between good and evil is now going on for our Salvation or destruction, but if our desire is Salvation, there are times the HIGH WALLS OF OUR LIFE will seem impossible to get over.

But in the midst of our trials we should say “praise God from whom all blessings flow” For our life has already been planed “The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.” Ps. 121:8 and also

The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.” Ps 37:23 I go back to the Israelite’s when getting to the threshold of the promise land for the second time,

the only thing that stood between the multitude and their final destination of God’s promises was the High walls of Jericho. But God’s plan even forty years earlier was to fight this battle for them.

All they had to do was “trust and obey” “And the Lord said unto Joshua, See, I HAVE GIVEN UNTO THINE HAND Jericho.” Did you notice God did not say I will give you Jericho. He told Joshua I HAVE GIVEN UNTO THINE HAND a victory that will lead you into the promise land.

My friends God’s plan or promises did not change after forty years only there faith changed. Six days they marched around the walls once A day and on the seventh day they march around seven times and the walls fell.

FORTY YEARS TO REALIZED “THAT THE BATTLE ALL ALONG, WAS NOT THERE’S IT WAS THE LORD’S” Yes the battle is the Lords but it must be all about Him, and that can only happen when we make the decision to die to self  and give it all to the Lord.

And then He can tell us I HAVE GIVEN UNTO THINE HAND not I will, or I will think about it, or maybe when you get old enough. No my friends the plan for our life was established on Calvary when He said it is finish.

So that tells me that crossing over the step walls of our life should never stop our praising God’s Name for God has already GIVEN UNTO THINE HAND. But first “ The desires of our heart must be the desires of the Good Shepherd’s heart, and that can only happen when Christ lives in us, and has full control.

And then “I will be with thee. I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. Be strong and of a good courage.” Yes my friends shout God’s praises now In the midst of that High wall for we are in the final season of this life’s history the warning has gone out.

“And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one ACCORDING TO HIS WORK. Rev 22:12 If I read that text correctly it said ACCORDING TO HIS WORK . But You must Trust Gods plan for 1 cor. 1:9 says God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

So now my friends go in and possess the land, which the Lord your God has GIVEN UNTO THINE HAND.”

(ROMANS 3)  THOSE WITH NO HOPE, AT LEAST FOR  NOW VS THE 32 PERCENTERS

The world consisted of  roughly 200 million people at the time of Paul’s ministry taking the good news of the gospel to the entire world must have seemed overwhelming to a small group of uneducated disciples.

“What A challenge just the Roman Empire along in the first century was approximately sixty to seventy million people. According to the first chapter of Acts 120 believers met in the upper room on the day of Pentecost.

This is a ratio of 1 Christian to approximately every 500,000 to 580,000 people in the empire. From a human standpoint, Jesus’ command to preach the gospel to the world seemed unthinkable.” (Mark Finley)

Now we move into the 21^st Century, there exist about 2 billion Christians or app. 32% of the population who claims to be Christians. So let’s call them the 32 PERCENTERS and everyone else we will call THOSE WITH NO HOPE, AT LEAST FOR NOW.

First, I believe it is fair to label the 32 PERCENTERS as unique or special because they call themselves God’s Children. But Today they go on trial to see how special they really are. Paul has been chosen with the unique position of being the prosecuting attorney for THOSE WITH NO HOPE, AT LEAST FOR  NOW!!!

But as far as the 32 PERCENTERS, they are  confident enough in there case to defend themselves. Paul will now state His opening arguments. Your Honor first I must add that each of us since Adam and Eve “have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.” Romans 3:23-24

We also recognize today that the Scriptures were allocated to the 32 PERCENTERS from birth. But your honor I want to be frank with you today, some, but not all of the 32 PERCENTERS walk around with this righteous attitude when sin abounds in their character as much as THOSE WITH NO HOPE, AT LEAST FOR NOW!!!

They believed that because each of them has a family bible on there coffee table, each being baptized into the faith of Jesus Christ, His Son, and Spirit, attend church faithfully, visit the sick, and pass out food to the homeless, that  their works will justify eternal life, and it keeps them from God’s condemnation.

So your Honor I ask that they will be found guilty, for just the corruption in their nature will stop justification by their works, because if  that was allowed they would always fill that their works was sufficient enough for Salvation,

and still be as  hateful and mean as they want to be, as long as they did some good deeds, their attitude would be, we never have to walk by faith by allowing self to die daily and Christ to take full control. Yes my friends it’s great to know the word, but to live the word is what God is asking of His 32 PERCENTERS and everyone else today.

for “All Scripture was given by the inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” II Timothy 3:16-17

and furthermore Your Honor, If they truly knew God and His Word. It would cut away the hardness, impurities, and hate that they exhibit within their MIND and BODY as they walk with Christ daily. And also, your Honor, most of the 32 PERCENTERS fill compelled to keep God’s word to themselves even though,

(they know)  it is the power of God unto salvation to EVERYONE who BELIEVETH, to the 32 PERCENTERS first and also to THOSE WITH NO HOPE, AT LEAST FOR NOW”!!! Romans 1:16 but your Honor by their non actions in spreading God’s word they condemn themselves,

because God tells each of us in His Word “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.” And finally your Honor I can see them saying well I do have faith along with my good works, but I must inform them today that there salvation is not based just on there faith and works either.

But our salvation is based upon the faithfulness of God and the promises in His Word, for we must be “certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.” Phil 1:6

Also my friends, “faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.” So your Honor the 32 PERCENTERS if they have any chance of Salvation must refocus their priorities and decide to walk with Christ daily in order to receive eternal life.

Or they can choose not to heed the voice of God’s Spirit and live there life throw the eyes of A world lost in sin. My Friends Salvation has already been given to us on Calvary. But first we must put all of our  trust in a crucified and risen savior, and then we must accept him as our Savior, and then we must hold on and never let go to our Savior once He becomes real to us. YOUR HONOR THE 32 PERCENTERS  CAN NOW PRESENT THERE CASE.

Zechariah 3:1-3 THE ACCUSER OF THE BRETHERN!!!

“Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven,” “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony,” Rev. 12:10-11

In Zach. 3:1-3 Joshua is interceding before God for the people, Satan is bringing accusations against them based on their sinfulness. A familiar trait of Satan that will not end until  “at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people:

and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.” So my friends your adversary Satan continues His fierce attacks against God’s chosen

“So be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:10-11 Then “The Angel of the LORD stands against Satan on Joshua’s behalf, and Satan stands at his right hand to oppose him.

And the LORD said to Satan, “The LORD rebuke’s you, Satan! The LORD who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke’s you! Is this not A BRAND PLUCKED FROM THE FIRE?” Now Joshua was clothed in filthy garments, and was standing before the Angel.

Joshua isn’t in God’s presence just as an observer, but as a ambassador to the office of the priest for Israel. As I see it this is not A position Satan ever wants to be in for this defeats his demonic purpose, to have God’s children before the presence of the Lord.

Because “Just to touch even his garments, we shall be made well.” ” because with that touch He will“show us the path of life; In His presence is fullness of joy; At His right hand are pleasures forevermore.” Psalm 16: 11

But Like the Children of Israel Satan portray’s each of God’s faithful as undeserving of His love, grace, and mercy. We are now on trial before the universe like Joshua and Israel of old, as we stand before the pure countenance of  our Lord and Savior we stand under condemnation,

clothed in filthy garments as our accuser presents His case  before the Lord of our evil doings and character defects. He shows our faults and failures, He shows each instance in our life where God’s precepts were of no effect.

My friends I need you to see what is happening here your accuser Satan has put each of us on trial before Christ, with accusations of breaking the same precepts that he encourage us to violate. This is amazing, but what is more amazing is

“even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.” 2 cor. 4:3-4

What a sad scenario for everyone that will come so close to Salvation but choose to follow their accuser to perdition. “THE GREATEST TRAGEDY! If you never realize that all you own can not compare to eternal life”

Remember my friends the work of Satan as an accuser begin in the courts of  heaven but “Every soul that develops a righteous character and withstands the power of the wicked one is a testimony to the falsehood of Satan’s charges against the divine government of  God” (White)

Satan knows prophecy he has had 6000 years to study it so he knows the MIDNIGHT CRY IS ABOUT TO SOUND he will now more than ever put forth and aggressiveness like never before in his accusations against God’s people.

His desire is for each of us to  separate ourselves from the love of God and His plan for our eternal destination, but my friends through Christ even though our garments are as filthy rags “WE ARE A BRAND PLUCKED FROM THE FIRE “

A chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.”1Peter 2:9

“ thank you, “Father, that despite awareness of my own sinfulness and Humanity today, as I look at the cross, I’m just in awe of the fact that you see me just as perfectly righteous as Jesus, because though He knew know sin. He permitted  Himself to be made sin on my behalf and to suffer the death that I deserve 2Cor 5:21 Heb 2:9  “and how do we know this statement is true, Because Jesus was sent to death, and death is the wages of sin, not of righteousness.” “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” Romans 6:23

OUR BEST FRIEND, JUDGE, AND SAVIOR!!!

Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me. Ps. 51:5

David seems to be saying here that he was born into a sinful world, and In his grief over his own sin becomes dishearten over the predicament of the world into which he was conceived by his mother.

David’s hypothetical analysis is one most of us fills when our sin has become so overwhelming while Satan at the same time begins the process of taunting us into focusing our attention on the GUILT of sin, instead of on the one who took the GUILT of sin upon himself on Calvary.

For if  “we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us of our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” 1John 1:9 also Paul tells us in I Corinthians 15:22 “For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive”

It is A good feeling to know my BEST FRIEND, JUDGE, AND SAVIOR paid A price for my sins so that I no longer have to fill GUILTY because I have A FRIEND in Jesus and nothing shall separate me from the love of Christ? No amount of trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword.” Romans 8:35

Yes my friends because of the repulsive and wretched nature of sin itself against the very foundation of heaven and GOD’S PRECEPTS OF LOVE we should be found GUILTY, and our sentence should be DEATH without any possibility of an appeal.

But when our case seemed hopeless, OUR BEST FRIEND, JUDGE, AND SAVIOR!!!. “…demonstrates his love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ OUR BEST FRIEND died for us.” Romans 5:6-8 Thank God for the plan of Salvation, AND THE CROSS.

The process begins with LOVE, MERCY AND GRACE coming together as our JUDGE and REDEEMER and putting OUR PENALTY AND OUR GUILT OF SIN UPON HIMSELF, and dieing in our stead, and now because of GOD’S LOVE, MERCY AND GRACE coming together at the cross we are now PARDON or FORGIVEN.

But a stay of execution does not mean we continue to sin for Paul tells us in Romans 6:1-4 “What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?

Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?  We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.”

So the death of Christ can only be our salvation if we accept it. The choice is up to us. We can decide not to take the PARDON that was given to us by the JUDGE and die for our own sins. Or accept the PARDON  and let God “tread our sins underfoot and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea.” Micah 7:19

But self must die daily “For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his. For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with,

that we should no longer be slaves to sin because anyone who has died has been set free from sin.” Romans 6:5-7 But what’s so great about the plan of Salvation, is first that there is a plan for fallen man, and then if we can just stay faithful,

and allow God’s word through His spirit to transform our lives as we die to self daily and endure this world just a little longer “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”1 Corinthians 2:9

My friends OUR BEST FRIEND, JUDGE, AND SAVIOR wants you to think about all the TIME, and GRACE, God has given you to get it right, and then think about missing out on ETERNITY because of the GUILT OF SIN Satan places on us. Peter says it best in

1Peter 2:21-25 To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps. “He committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth. ”When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly. “He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.” For “you were like sheep going astray,” but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.

THE PRAYERS OF THE RIGHTEOUS AVAILETH MUCH!!!

James 5:16…The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man or woman avails much.”

When we pray we believe we will receive. What we ask for in His name with passion we must believe that all things are possible. Yes my friends when we pray we tap into miraculous things. That can only come from above. And as we petition Our God, victoriously we declare because of the promises in His word that we know through our faith and His Spirit that the prayers of the righteous availeth much. 

EFFECTIVE, FERVENT PRAYER: those three words tell me that you must have a passion about what you are petitioning God for. There must be a passion of hope that A family member or friend will be healed when you lay prostrate before the great physician and say Lord not my will but thou will,

a passion of faith that your son or daughter will find the Lord one day as the tears runs down your cheeks and you say Oh the Great I Am, it was your promises that told me “train up a child in the way of the Lord and He will not depart,”

A passion of understanding as you study the  Word of God from Genesis to Revelation, as you cry out to the Rabbi All Scripture is breathed out by you God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work. 2Tim 3:16-17,

A deep and heartfelt passion for A successful marriage as you plead for direction, as you cry out to the Good Shepherd and say, to you only can I turn to, for I know “Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. ” Corinthians 13:7

A passion as you cry out oh the true light of the world “the increase of wickedness, and the love of the world is growing cold” please give me the  passion as a vessel in a chosen generation, the will, and desire, to spread the good news of the gospel to all the world as you ask “Lord Jesus, come quickly, please come soon.”

But most of all a passion that whatever your petition is, it will bring glory and honor to our Saviors name, as you cry out to the Savior I know I was “bought with a price: So every day of my life I will glorify God in my body, and in my spirit, which are God’s.” 1 Corinthians 6:20

As you lift Him up and magnify His name you are petitioning your best friend,  not just some acquaintance. Oh “What a Friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and grief’s to bear! What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer!”

As I write this devotional the song “The midnight Cry” begins to play, and I tell you today my friends A real passion in prayer and faith is when you can close your eye’s and focus on what the words of a song of passion is telling you.

As I talk to God I really can here the sound of the rushing wind, and the more I talk to Him I realize, His appearing is closer then ever as I begin to here the trumpet of Gabriel, and hear the Father as He says son go get my children,

and the more I pray I can see our Savior standing on A cloud, with tens of thousands of angels as I witness for my self On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: king of kings and lord of lords. Yes my friends, only passion, through prayer do I know that it will all happen in a moment,

in the twinkling of an eye, as the trumpet is blown. and the more I pray I witness all of my friends, family, and love one’s that were laid to sleep before me suddenly become alive, with new bodies that will never, never die; and then we who are still alive shall suddenly have new bodies also.

Yes my friends  His second coming should be a passion among  many we all must seek as our petitions goes up to Christ. while looking up, with hands raised in adoration to the King of Kings, as lips shudder with the words “not to us, LORD, not to us, but to your name be given glory on account of your gracious love and faithfulness. Ps 115:1

Yes my friends it must be a  feeling that what you believe from the heart will be answered not because of anything we have done but simple because our God loves granting our request “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. Mark 11:24

MY friends As the final season of this world is about to end and the books of God’s judgment will soon be closed. Our prayers must be passionate, focused, and faithful as we pray for the outpouring of God’s Spirit while enduring until the day of Christ soon appearing.

HMMMM!!! AND I’M STILL HERE?

“Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it.” Proverbs 22:6

“Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward” Psalm 127:3

Oh the heartfelt prayers, and A mothers pain for her son or daughter as she partitions the good shepherd during her sleepless nights on her knees as she tells God “You have seen me tossing and turning through the night.You have collected all my tears and preserved them in your bottle! You have recorded every one in your book.” Ps 56:8

My friends what A wonderful feeling to know that our God stores our parents tears that are shed for there children in his heart as he records them for any and all situation and circumstances their Child may encounter from Satan and the forces of evil throughout the child’s life,

even after the parents have been laid to rest as they wait for A call from the master to awake them and say let’s go home your children are waiting. My friends today I ask that each of you go back in time to a event that happen to you when you can truly say with no reservations HMMMM!!! AND I’M STILL HERE?

I go back forty years when those recorded tears was all I had going spiritually. I decided to move to San Antonio from Nashville with the hopes of starting A new life. As I make my plans I find out it would be cheaper to tell the U-Haul co. that the truck I was about to rent was going to Houston instead of San Antonio.

My First experience in why you should never lie. The trip started off great until I went under a canopy that was to low at A Gas station and well I will let you use your imagination. I also thought it would be cheaper not to get insurance either HMMMM!!!. Another lesson, for little grasshopper, Kung Fu remember, I’m drifting sorry.

I got to San Antonio unloaded the truck then headed to Houston about two hundred miles away to drop the truck off with only a gas card and about five dollars in my pocket, but my plan was to get my deposit back and ride the bus back to SA.

Arrived in Houston no problem, it was late afternoon and the U-Haul co. was closed. Not good. I had about 50 cents left and a gas card HMMMM!!!  Well I will go somewhere and sleep in the truck until morning but first need to get some gas.

Got on the interstate headed to who knows where, and I run out of gas HMMMM!!! It’s now dark and I don’t know where I am In the big city of Houston. Well I get out of the truck and walk around to one side. as I head back around I look up and a crazy looking white man who is all beat up with cuts and bruises on his face is asking me do I need a ride.

Well I figure just because he looks crazy he might not be HMMMM!!! AND I’M STILL HERE? well I get in his car we take off and of course he is crazy and he tries to kill me HMMMM!!! AND I’M STILL HERE? I escaped by the skin of my teeth, with no idea where I am now. So I just roam the streets of Houston all night, HMMMM!!! AND I’M STILL HERE?

Morning finally came. I thumbed back to my truck. You see I really never learned my lesson about getting in the car with strangers HMMMM!!! AND I’M STILL HERE? Got some gas. Got to the U-Haul co. and of course when they checked the mileage I owed them money. That is when my lie caught up with me about a one way trip to Houston instead of San Antonio HMMMM!!!

Well I will just thumb back to San Antonio so someone tried to kill me the night before this is a new day HMMMM!!! AND I’M STILL HERE? Well the story does end pretty good. Some one picked me up I told him I was going to San Antonio He was going the same way only he was flying, yes flying, his own plane, ask if I didn’t mind flying with him, sure what else could happen on this journey HMMMM!!! AND I’M STILL HERE?

Got back to San Antonio and of course I thumbed back to my apartment from the airport HMMMM!!! AND I’M STILL HERE? I tell you this story because most of the other adventures I had through out my life usually involved some form of substance abuse HMMMM!!! AND I’M STILL HERE?

Oh the tears of A praying mother that God stores just for us throughout our life, God especially stores close to Him so they will always be  A permanent hedge around his chosen children who find there way back to Him one day.

For you maybe it was not your parents prayers maybe it was your grandparents or aunt and uncle or sister or brother or maybe just a friend who loved you more then life itself I now understand after all these years

“God will not turn away your petitions, and leave you and yours to the buffetings of Satan in the great day of final conflict. It is for you to work with simplicity and faithfulness, and God will establish the work of your hands. The lifework performed on earth is acknowledged in the heavenly courts as a work well done. With joy unutterable, parents see the crown, the robe, the harp, given to their children…. The seed sown with tears and prayers may have seemed to be sown in vain, but their harvest is reaped with joy at last. Their children have been redeemed.” (E.G. White A Mothers Prayer)

Satan may kill this body of mine one day but he will never kill my Spirit, or my relationship with God, or my entrance into God’s pure and holy kingdom and A seat at the banquet table of the redeemed where my Savior will sit at the head of the table and next to me will be my parents and all of my family, friends, and love one’s as we give God the praise glory and honor throughout the ceaseless ages of eternity.

And each day I will say to myself  HMMMM!!! I  FINALLY MADE IT TO THE PROMISE LAND. BUT MY FRIENDS UNTIL THAT DAY I WILL SERVE MY GOD WITH ALL MY HEART AND SOUL.

MY FRIENDS, IS THERE NOT A CAUSE?

And David said, “What have I done now? Is there not a cause?”  Then he turned from him toward another and said the same thing; 1 Samuel 17:29

Some were stoned to death; Others beheaded, many were lured with tempting offers to renounce their faith but they HAD A CAUSE TO DIE FOR so they were burned to the stake; others were sawn in two; some were slaughtered by the sword; others crucified, thousands were thrown in an arena to be eaten by lions BUT THEY ALL HAD A CAUSE TO DIE FOR.  Many wandered over mountains, living in caves and caverns and holes like untamed animals throughout the earth ALL FOR A CAUSE these were Christians martyrs. With the PASSION TO DIE FOR A CAUSE, the CAUSE was their Savior Jesus Christ who gave it all for them on Calvary.

My friends WHAT IS YOUR CAUSE TODAY are you willing to give it all for your families, love one’s friends, church, and the peace of mind that you gave it all for the Master who gave it all for you on Calvary. And as our example Our Savior knew HIS CAUSE,

as He came into A sinful world to die on a cruel cross for our sins. For John tells us in John 18:37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this CAUSE CAME I INTO THE WORLD, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.”

My friends today, our CAUSE must be a PASSION to fight the enemy of God on the battlefield of this world. “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

And as we go out each day on the battlefield, many who claim to be warriors of God, are now loosing the battle themselves with Satan who defiles our God in every way possible, as he leads many to destruction using his weapon of

TV, video games, Radio, Internet, food, and gossip. But only A few of the hidden landmines of sin Satan is using on the battle field that is claiming the lives each day of individuals because of the sinful, transforming, and destructive power it has on the mind and body.

“and all the men of God fled and were dreadfully afraid. 1 Samuel 17:24” But IS THERE NOT A CAUSE to stand up for God and fight. God has given us his own personal battle armor, which is His holy Word and Spirit in preparation for the battles being fought, first in our homes,

which is at the front lines of this war between good and evil. So my friends their must be A CAUSE to save our families, friends and A world that has lost it’s spiritual compass. Today, Victory is ours if we will just have the PASSION FOR GOD’S CAUSE IN FINISHING UP HIS WORK.

1 Cor. 15:57-58 tells us “Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”

But first we must give it all to the Master as we begin to focus on the PASSION OF OUR CAUSE FOR GOD!! And than there will be no doubt in your mind about YOUR  CAUSE. And Like David who had no doubt in his mind that he would defeat the giant Goliath and that it would be A victory for God.

For in 1 Samuel 17:48 it tells us ” So it was, when the Philistine arose and came and drew near to meet David, that David HURRIED AND RAN toward the army to meet the Philistine.” OH WHAT PASSION FOR A CAUSE HE RAN quickly toward the battle,

because his faith in God was strong and he knew The victory had nothing to do with him, but it had everything to do with THE PASSION FOR THE CAUSE HE HAD FOR HIS GOD. Then David threw the stone, and through the power of God’s Spirit, Goliath was defeated.

“And when they saw their champion was dead, they fled”1 Samuel 17:51 “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” James 4:7 this is what the power of our God will do for us my friends IF WE HAVE A CAUSE.

So today it is our responsibility to introduce the world to this same power, the power of grace mercy and love of our God, and not so they will be afraid and run, but, that once they here the good news of Jesus Christ and him Crucified and about His soon return, they will also HAVE A PASSION AND A CAUSE TO SERVE GOD. And in the courts of heaven one day soon we will all praise His name together through out the ceaseless ages of eternity

MY FRIENDS, WHEN DID IT ALL START?

“Don’t be afraid.” Are we in the place of God? Satan intended to destroy our generation, “but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. So then, don’t be afraid. I will provide FOR YOU AND YOUR CHILDREN.” Gen.50:19

Robertson McQuilkin wrote, “God planned the strength and beauty of youth to be physical. But the strength and beauty of age is spiritual. We gradually lose the strength and beauty that is temporary so we’ll be sure to concentrate on the strength and beauty that is forever.”

For most baby boomers life has been A journey that has been a quandary of twist and turns like “the vessel he was making of clay was spoiled in the potter’s hand, and he reworked it and reworked it into many vessels, until it seemed good to the potter.

Behold, like the clay in the potter’s hand, so were each of our Characters in the hands of OUR SAVIOR” But thank God the Potter continues to transform our characters because we were All A part of A larger plan A chosen generation.

But the question I now ask is how do we through the Spirit of God make God real in the 21^st century, high tech, got to have it now generation. Yes my friends How does this generation of youth rise above or go beyond what God requires,

when they seem content to be on a train bound for perdition? I ask that question, But you know I personally fill great, about THE FINAL CHAPTER OF THIS CONTROVERSY, because we  still have the power of the cross, and the grace of God who is

“longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. So as I go back in history, beginning with the Baby Boomers and the economic prosperity that followed World War II which probably gave most parents the feeling that my child will never go through what I experienced.

This way of thinking more in likely shaped the teenage subculture of which the young today still are a part. Because today there is nothing held back, A free society that started with the chosen generation. Yes the golden age of the fifties and sixties,

where moral authority, and discipline disintegrated or became extent; the Hippie culture, Civil rights, mod fashions of the young; idealism, protest, rebellion; the triumph of popular music based on sex and drugs with the Beatles, Temptations, and Elvis as the heroes of  a generation, who were given godlike status;

We also explored religions of the Orient and beyond; as the marriage vows became obsolete all together; while the relaxation of censorship in books, TV, music, and the media: and gay liberation became the norm.

Yes this was the chosen generations characteristic pattern and style of influence. So now we have a new generation who “calls evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Yes it seems we  provided the forbidden fruit that developed House wives of Atlanta, Pulp Fiction, Twilight, Kanye West, JZ, and the acceptance of the marriage vows between Adam and Steve. But my friends can anyone accept the responsibility for the downfall of generation after generation except Satan,

Who stated “I will ascend to heaven; above the stars of God I will set my throne on high I will sit on the mount of assembly in the far reaches of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.” Isaiah 14:13-14

But my friends the good news is the war Satan started has already been won on  Calvary when Christ said it is finish, and it will all be eradicated when Christ says “He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still;

he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still. And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.”

So once again I pledge not to allow Satan to ever intimidate me into thinking the millennium generation or the baby boomers or any other generation is a lost generation, because what I do know through Gods word is that it will all end with the destruction of Satan and the victory of the redeemed.

So today I will just lean on God’s Spirit and the promises in His Word that tells me “if you faithfully obey the voice of the Lord your God, being careful to do all his commandments that I command you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, if you obey the voice of the Lord your God. Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the field. Blessed shall be the FRUIT OF YOUR WOMB….. Deut 28:1-68

MY FEET ALMOST SLIPPED, THEN I WENT INTO YOUR SANCTUARY!!

My feet had almost slipped; I had nearly lost my foothold. For I envied the arrogant For I envied the proud when I saw them prosper despite their wickedness….. …..So I tried to understand why the wicked prosper…… But what a difficult task it is! THEN I WENT INTO YOUR SANCTUARY,…….how good it is to be near God! I have made the Sovereign Lord my shelter and I will tell everyone about the wonderful things you do. (Ps. 73)

The passion of David “a man after God’s own heart;”  This “One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord All the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, And to inquire in His temple….. When You said, “Seek My face,” My heart said to You, “Your face, Lord, I will seek.” Ps. 27:4, 8

Such a beautiful passage on how easy it is even for the elect to loose one’s focus, as David tells us he almost slips, while loosing sight of God’s presence, as he fixates towards the world agenda, and how they prospered. But longing once again for a passion for God he seeks the presence of God.

this is when“ HE WENT INTO GOD”S SANCTUARY” This is the passion I lone for my friends TO SEEK MY Saviors presence each day IN HIS SANCTUARY until I can witness His appearing through the clouds and I can FINALLY SAY, LO THIS IS MY GOD WHO I HAVE WAITED FOR.

And now My journey on earth ends, as a new journey begins throughout the ceaseless ages of eternity as I will forever be in the SANCTUARY OF MY MASTERS LOVING ARMS.  But before that great day As God’s Chosen generation,

we ALL must look back on where God has brought us, and where this journey He leads us on will take us, as we realize God must be our fortress against Satan’s attempts to lead us into a slippery slope, by thinking we want what this world has above what Christ wants for us.

Satan will keep us thinking that the world owes us, so we have to acquire it, and if our anchor is not firmly rooted in the solid rock of Jesus Christ and Him crucified, our Perception begins to transform our Reality instead of God doing the transforming.

“For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked. Who seems to have the least share of the troubles of this life; but have the greatest share of this world wealth and comforts. They have no fear of and yet they prosper, in A world that My God created.”

My friends once you have the opportunity to go high into the mountains, as you look down the smaller the world below you will get. So it is with A child of God the Higher up or closer you get to Christ the smaller the world gets until it is no longer relevant, only the presence of God.

So in a world that has lost its spiritual compass and the love of the wicked grows cold, the best place in which to be instructed with heavenly wisdom is in the PRESENCE AND SANCTUARY OF GOD,  His Word and Spirit.

I ask myself what in the ancient SANCTUARY that cultivated the wisdom as to the fate of the wicked and the eternal prosperity of God’s Children as David sat in the presence of the Master in heartfelt prayer in HIS SANCTUARY.

Well my belief is the Spirit of God fell upon David and He remembered “the wicked are reserved for the day of doom; And I also believed He looked back before the flood and remembered a world where the wicked’s eternal destiny was sealed in A sea of water.

I also believe he looked back at the fate of the wicked of Sodom. And I also believe he went back in time and remembered the suffering of Egypt when Moses stretched out his rod, and the Lord’s vengeance, fell on Pharaoh,

who also like many of the prosperous who have no fear of God, went down in defeat in the midst of the Red Sea. But I also believe when David went into the sanctuary God revealed to Him the promise that states in His word.

“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him; and as he listened to the enchanting anthems of  God’s precepts of love, It was at that moment

“IN THE SANCTUARY HE UNDERSTOOD THE WICKEDS FATE OF DESTRUCTION AND THE REDEEMS ETERNAL REWARD” and like David who “told everyone about the wonderful things God does” we must also tell the good news to A world of the mercies grace and love of Christ.

And about His soon return and what he has prepared for all who have faith and belied in the saving power of God. in HIS SANCTUARY
