LET IT SHINE!!! LET IT SHINE!!! LET IT SHINE!!!

Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believe………

This is how Webster defines the word ashamed: 1. feeling distressed or embarrassed, the feelings of guilt, foolishness, or disgrace: There was the story of a boy who was asked by his mother what he had learned in Sabbath school that day. The boy describes the story of the Israelites exodus from Egypt,

but when he came to the dramatic portion about the crossing of the Red Sea, here is how he told the story: “Moses took out his walkie-talkie and called in the Israeli Air Force to bomb the Egyptians, while the others built a pontoon bridge to crossover the Red Sea.” His mother asked, “Is that how they told you the story?”

He dropped his head and muttered, “Well, no, Mom, but if I told you the story the way they told it to me, you’d never believe it!” Most of our sentiments exactly. Whenever we read the Bible, we are suddenly thrust into a world which seems out of touch with the reality of what we as humans consider real or believable.

For instance. Let’s take a few stories from the Word of God: First story, A world where the world we live in was created in seven days, A world where seas part and where millions of people traveled across on dry ground, A world where one man is able to kill a thousand men with the jawbone of a ass, A world where a teenager kills a giant with a slingshot and a stone.

but the ultimate or the most distant of all the stories in this world of make believe, is the story about the king of the universe. Who reincarnates His Son into a woman’s body. He is then born in A manger here on earth to poor parents.

He then lives a sinless life for thirty thee years and doing this time He performs many miracles and at the same time He, proclaims the good news of the gospel and then the Jewish people, His own ancestry, kills Him by Crucifixion on a hill called Calvary and then He raises Himself from the grave.

And He does all of this for our sins so that we can receive Salvation, but only if we believe and have faith in this fantastic story. And if we do have faith and believe, one day soon we will go to live with him in a far away place in the sky called heaven for ever and ever, where sin will no longer exist.

My friends, I just repeated to you, the good news of the gospel, but it is not for the saved Christian. We are beneficiaries of it, but We as Christians are expected to tell this story to A world lost in sin. Yes my friends, the adulterous, lying, stealing, gossiping, murdereous, covertness, greedy generation who are seeking a sign are expected to believe.

For in In Mathew 12:39 it says An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign. But my friends it is not our responsibility to convict or save, that is the responsibility of the Holy Spirit it is only our responsibility to love, and in our Hearts  each day LET IT SHINE!!! LET IT SHINE!!! LET IT SHINE!!!

as we spread the good news of Christ soon return.  Friends history tells us millions of martyrs died for this same gospel some are ashamed to proclaim. And most of them were not some skilled competent, proficient orator, or eloquent practitioner. But the good news of the gospel was mostly proclaimed by the common mediocre man or woman,

who experienced the transforming power of the holy Spirit in there lives, and just wanted to proclaim this good news of what Christ had done, and was doing in there lives at the time as they LET IT SHINE!!! My friends what a wonderful message to proclaim as you begin to tell how our loving Savior lifted you up,

and brought you to Safety in His loving, caring and merciful arms. Friends if you are willing to give it all for the Master AND LET SHINE!!! the Bible will speak for itself through Gods Spirit. Because there is power in the Word! So, let us all say with Paul, “I AM NOT ASHAME OF THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST.”

And we as Christians need never to be ashamed of our Christian faith because of God’s promises in Romans 5:5 which say’s “And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.” Romans 10:11 also says “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.”

So today my friends if You love the Lord with all your Heart and soul, then tell the world and LET IT SHINE!!! LET IT SHINE!!! LET IT SHINE!!!

GOD’S ETERNAL PURPOSE, AND THE CHURCH!!! (Ephesians 3:9-13)

“And to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things through Jesus Christ; to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places, according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him. 

My Friends as Children of God we are A part of the body of believers who’s foundation is Jesus Christ and Him crucified. for Colossians 1:17-20 tells us He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.

For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

So today, I would like each of you to focus on God’s insight for His Church as it relates to each of you and how both unite together in Holy matrimony for our salvation and How your role fits into God’s overall vision, along with our faith and endurance as we follow Christ to the cross and finally to His pure and holy kingdom.

First Christ establishes His Church Matt.6:18 says “…. and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Christ being the Rock for in 1 Cor 10:4 it tells us and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them, and that Rock was Christ.

So Christ was telling each of us, that He will establish His Church, and neither principalities or powers can prevail against it because it was established by The Son of God, who is our focal point, from creation to the crucifixion, from the old to the new testament, and from type to anti-type.

From the death of animals to the death of the son of God. Therefore, when He came into the world, He said: “Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, But a body You have prepared for Me.” God’s original purpose for Adam and Eve after there fall, and then Israel, was to reflect Christ image To A world and to the principalities and powers in heavenly places” both good and evil.

They were to establish God’s law as A law of love, A binding Contract that Can never be Changed, So God sent His only son to Calvary, and there on the cross, the unity of love between the Father, Son, and Spirit  came together for the Eternal purpose to save man. And this my friends is God’s ETERNAL PURPOSE.

And this unity of love we all must have if our destination is God’s kingdom. My friends the controversy between good and evil ended at the cross when Christ said it is finished. Oh what a demonstration of His love and the steps the trinity was willing to take. Oh what love, God sending His only Son to bear the penalty of man’s mistakes.

A eternal spotless Being uniting with humanity who was capable of sinning  as He took upon himself the sins of the world nailing them to A cross where his blood washes away the penalty forever if we believe. And as man and God unite Christ becomes our mediator and substitute. Oh the mercy and grace OF GOD’S ETERNAL PURPOSE,

Remember My friends The church is to be God’s navigator for the reconciliation of eden to A world that was lost in sin, Ephesians 1:9-10 tells us he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ.” My friends are ’t you glad As A Child of God you are A part of the unity of GOD’S ETERNAL PURPOSE FOR EACH OF US AND HIS CHURCH

MANY ARE INVITED, BUT FEW ARE CHOSEN!!! (Matthew 22)

Jesus spoke to them again in parables, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a king who prepared a wedding banquet for his son. He sent his servants to those who had been invited to the banquet to tell them to come, but they refused to come.

………“Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding banquet is ready, but those I invited did not deserve to come. So go to the street corners and invite to the banquet anyone you find. So the servants went out into the streets and gathered all the people they could find,

the bad as well as the good, and the wedding hall was filled with guests. “But when the king came in to see the guests, he noticed a man there who was not wearing wedding clothes.  He asked, ‘How did you get in here without wedding clothes, friend?’

The man was speechless. “Then the king told the attendants, ‘Tie him hand and foot, and throw him outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’ FOR MANY ARE INVITED, BUT FEW ARE CHOSEN.“

The Marriage represents the unification of Jesus Christ incarnate as the son of God and humanity. The wedding garment represents the transformation of our character to be like that of God’s only Begotten Son Jesus Christ. For in

1 John 3:2 it tells us Dear friends, “now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.”

The first invitation was sent out to God’s Chosen the lineage of Abraham. And they rejected Him as the Son of God. So the King, once again sends out an invitation to everyone throughout the universe good and bad.

The good news is everyone who receives the Call and accepts the invitation is welcomed. And many will accept. What is so amazing, the Banquet Hall where the wedding will take place is large enough for everyone with faith,

and believed that the king would invite A sinner like me to such an occasion. Oh my friends what An Honor. The guest arrive the King examines our Characters, which represents the judgment which is going on now.

For Paul tells us in 2 Corinthians 5:10 “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.”

But our character must be like the King for He tells us “I am the good shepherd, and I know My own and My own know Me,”  Because every Garment, or character is A gift from the king because we gave him our all.

Oh what faith, and the Sacrifice of Calvary that was made so that everyone who accepted the invitation could be there. But there will be some clothed in the dress of the world. It will show that they spent no time in knowing,

or making the preparation required by the king to be there. For in Matt. 7:21 it tells me “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

And the saddest words we will ever here will be “How did you get in here without wedding clothes ” And what could possible be one’s answer when the King gave everyone who was invited His own robe of righteousness,  His only Begotten son.

The only thing that was required was to accept the kings invitation and the free gift of His garment. So in not accepting we have condemned ourselves. And then the king said, “Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness.”

Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you;

depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ Matt7:21-23. “FOR MANY ARE INVITED BUT FEW ARE CHOSEN.” “My Friends everyone who accepted the Kings invitation to the banquet profess to be A follower of the Good Shepherd.

But not everyone is willing to give it all to the King. So Before the invitation goes out we must decide today if you are willing to be fitted to be in that “great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, Rev. 7:9

My friends, God’s Kingdom is where the final banquet of the redeemed will take place. The decision is yours are you willing to do whatever it takes to be there for my God will come, and His reward is with Him, “to give every man according as his work shall be.” Rev. 22:12

THE POWER OF GOD’S WORD?

“Nothing will energize the mind and strengthen the intellect more than the study of the Word of God. No other book has the power to uplift thoughts and invigorate abilities as the Bible. If God’s Word were studied as it should be, men and women would have the open mind, excellent character, and firm purpose that are rarely seen in these times.

The search for truth will reward the seeker, and each discovery will open up more valuable fields for investigation.We should prize the Bible because it reveals the will of God. Here we learn the object for our creation and how to attain that objective. We learn how to make wise use of the present life and how to obtain the future life.

No other book can satisfy the questionings of the mind or the cravings of the heart. As we acquire a knowledge of God’s Word and practice it in our lives, we may rise from the lowest depths of degradation to become children of God, the companions of sinless angels.” (E.G. White A Call to Stand Apart)

If we remained focused on the Word of God it will always have an immediate, and intense impact on our lives. But, the real value lies in the effects that A  lasting discovery to God’s Word will bring to each of our lives whenever we allow the Spirit of God to guide each of us step by step through The word of God,

which is the source from which those seeking God’s presence in there life will formulate their love , faith, hope, and endurance. It provides the direction, to everyone who once they have allowed the Holy Spirit to Guide them will apply its principles every day of their lives. Paul says in 2 Tim. 3:16, 17

“All Scripture, divinely inspired, is profitable for teaching, for conviction, for correction, for that discipline which is in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly fitted for every good work” The power of Gods word will sustain me in each situation, and trial that comes into my life in Heb 1:3 it says

“The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word.” When I need restoration, awareness, intensity, and strength in my life , one must turn to the word of God. “I am afflicted very much; Revive me, O LORD, according to Your word

. . . My soul clings to the dust; Revive me according to Your word” (Psalm 119:107, Psalm 119:25). When there are burdens in my life Psalm 55:22 tells me to ” Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.” For John 1:1 tells me “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”

Ps. 16:8 also tells me I know the LORD is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me. In Job 1 6:8 it says One day the angels came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came with them. The Lord said to Satan, “Where have you come from?” Satan answered the Lord, “From roaming throughout the earth, going back and forth on it.”

Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job? “There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil.” Oh that my faith was of such that my God could brag on me. We all know the story of Job. My friends the part of his story I would like everyone to focus there attention on is,

if your walk is with God and His word Daily, and you have allowed His Word and Spirit to infiltrate your mind and body. No storm is powerful enough to move you from God. for Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 15:58 “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of

the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”

And my God knows this because He knows, and He wants you to know also what A transforming power of His word and Spirit will have on your life if you are willing to have faith and believe and endure As A Child of God. Paul tells me in Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

And once we Have allowed our Focus to rest on the spiritual foundation on Jesus Christ and Him crucified then it is at that point we can Say it with meaning, that His Grace is sufficient, Basically, sufficient means My God’s grace is enough for all, and every situations and circumstances in our lives, Sufficient does not say Get over it. You’ll understand it better through time. No It just says, My grace is sufficient for you, and if you have faith, I am all you will ever need or want.

A LUKEWARM CHURCH IN THE 21st CENTURY!!!

Revelation 3:14-21 The Lukewarm Church “And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans “I know all the things you do, that you are neither hot nor cold. I wish that you were one or the other! But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth!  You say, ‘I am rich. I have everything I want. I don’t need a thing!’ And you don’t realize that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked…….Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends. Those who are victorious will sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat with my Father on his throne.”

We as Christians  must recognize The Laodicean church  in Rev. 3 also represents the 21st century high tech, got to have the latest right now society church. But the question we must ask ourselves is. How do we give it all to the Master and also focus on the unity of the body of God’s Church. Paul tells me in 1 Cor. 12:12-14

“Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free and we were all given the one Spirit….

So if we have the same Spirit it is impossible for the Church not to grow spiritually, because there is only one Spirit and one God. My friends, we as A body of Christ must decide today to become totally committed to spreading the good news of God’s Saving Grace, and  Christ soon return in our Churches and to A world that is sinking in sin,

as wickedness increase and the love of most draws Cold with no hope of survival. But as members of the body of Gods Church if we continue to allow our focus to be on materialism, consumerism, and I’ve got to have the latest simply because it is the latest, instead of our focus being on Jesus Christ and Him Crucified then God  speaks directly to

“you who are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold,” then He tells us “I will spit you out of my mouth!  You say, ‘I am rich. I have everything I want. I don’t need a thing!”  My friends the purpose of the letter to Laodicea, is so that you and I as part of this church, may overcome, the influences of our world in the 21st century.

Remember my friends The letter finished on a triumphant ending, with a glorious, and victorious note. It says, “To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and set down with my Father in His throne.”

So our prayer today must be Lord, we the member’s of the 21st century Laodicean church pray that we will not become lukewarm, but we will have a burning passion and desire, to share Your Truth as it is written in your word To the World.  in Colossians 3:2 it tells me to “Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

Paul also tells me  in Colossians 2:6 -8 “As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.”

as followers of Christ we must continue His ministry as a body of believers. And with a fire that burns within our mind and body as we become witnesses to A world lost in sin, as we petition God’s Spirit to have the same burning effect on everyone we come in contact with. Luke tells us in Luke 24:32

When the two disciples of Christ on the road to Emmaus, realizing it was  Christ they had spoken too. Said to one another “DID NOT OUR HEART BURN WITHIN US WHILE HE TALKED WITH US ON THE ROAD, AND WHILE HE OPENED THE SCRIPTURES  TO US?” That word  Burn, meaning to be set, or consumed on FIRE.

This is what God wants from each of his Children. If we are consumed with a burning passion to have an intimate relationship with God then everyone we talk to, or witness to, will also feel a exhilarating burn within their hearts.

Which will lead them also to seek Jesus Christ and spend quality time in the all consuming presence of our Savior. As the entire body of Christ remains focused through Faith in our Savior that will Save us from sin, and one day soon give us His ultimate reward, which is ETERNAL LIFE

THOSE CRAZY CHRISTIAN’S ARE AT IT AGAIN!!!

The most consequential event in Bible prophecy to the Children of the King is Christ Second Coming. And the Last day prophecies in God’s Word is the stimulus that motivates A lasting faith through the Spirit of God within the Christian community that allows someone like John Huss “When the flames kindled about him, he began to sing,

“Jesus, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me,” and so continued till his voice was silenced forever. And Jerome, who died soon after, said: “Both bore themselves with constant mind when their last hour approached. They prepared for the fire as if they were going to a marriage feast.

They uttered no cry of pain. When the flames rose, they began to sing hymns; and scarce could the severity of the fire stop their singing”. Or Paul who was “persuaded that He who has conquered death is able to keep that which is committed to His trust. His mind grasps the Savior’s promise, “I will raise him up at the last day.” John 6:40.

His thoughts and hopes are centered on the second coming of his Lord. And as the sword of the executioner descends and the shadows of death gather about the martyr, his latest thought springs forward, as will his earliest in the great awakening, to meet the Life-giver, who shall welcome him to the joy of the blessed.” (E.G.White The Great Controversy, Acts of the Apostles)

No Christian can truly cling to an unseen faith who can not focus on A crucified and risen Savior who will return one day to take his children back home to his pure and holy kingdom. All the avenues of time, history and prophecy converge at Calvary and Christ second coming. Satan is a clever strategist who knows,

if He can just keep our focus on our  HDTV sets, Internet, and the things of this world, then our attitude about end-time events will be secondary to what the world has to offer. Christ has ask His people to watch for evidence of His approaching return “Now learn a parable of the fig tree: When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.”(Matthew 24:32-33)  Great pains should be taken to keep the good news of Christ soon return the forefront of our message before our churches, and A world lost in Sin that Christ soon return, will come as A “thief in the night.”

Below are some in-time-events out of the pages of God’s Word that tells us “And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads, for your redemption draweth nigh.” (Luke 21:28)

Luke 21:25 “And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth distress of nations in perplexity because of the roaring of the sea and the waves” In 1755 the Great Lisbon Earthquake, occurred in the Kingdom of Portugal on Saturday, November 1, 1755, In combination with subsequent fires and a tsunami.

Twenty-five years after the Great Earthquake appeared the next sign mentioned in Revelation 6:12-14 the darkening of the sun and moon. Acts 2:20 tells us “The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord.” In the Savior’s conversation with his disciples upon Olivet,

He thus mentioned certain events to precede his coming, and fixed the time when the first of these should be witnessed: “Immediately after the distress of those days” the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken” Matt 24:29

May 19, 1780, stands in history as “The Dark Day.” Since the time of Moses, no period of darkness of equal density, extent, and duration has ever been recorded. “The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the Lord come.” Joel 2:31.The moon became as red as blood on the night of the “dark day,”

In 1833, the last of the signs appeared which were promised by the Savior, as warnings of his second coming advent. Said Jesus, “The stars shall fall from heaven. And John in the Revelation declared, as he beheld in vision the scenes that herald the day of God: “The stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig-tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.” Rev. 6:13

This prophecy received a striking and impressive fulfillment in the great meteoric shower of November 13, 1833. That was the most extensive and wonderful display of falling stars which has ever been recorded;

“WARS, FAMINES, PESTILENCES, EARTHQUAKES, MAN LOVES SELF & MONEY MORE THAN GOD” GODS PROPHECIES & GRACE, ARE SET, AS THE VOICE AT MIDNIGHT PROCLAIMS, THE BRIDEGROM CAME, & THOSE WHOES FEET ARE ON THE SOLID ROCK OF GODS WORD & SPIRIT WENT IN WITH HIM TO THE WEDDING; & THE DOOR WAS SHUT. MY FRIENDS WHAT SIDE OF THAT DOOR WILL YOU BE ON WHEN CHRIST RETURNS.

NOT RECOGNIZING THE PRESENCE OF GOD!!!

As I was allowing the Spirit to inspire my subject for today. My mind went to A sequence of events starting in

1. John 18;2-9 Jesus meets Judas with an unruly rabble and officers
2. Luke 22:47-48 Judas betrays Jesus with A kiss
3. John 18:10-11 Peter cuts off the right ear of Malchus the High Priest servant.
4. Luke 22:51-53 Jesus heals Malchus ear.
5. Mark 14:50 All of Jesus Disciples fled in fear
6 John 18:12-14, 19-23 The rabble, officers, and Captain bound Jesus and leads Him to Annas the father-in-law of Caiaphas. One of his officers strikes Jesus.
7. John 18:24 Annas sends Jesus bound to Caiaphas
8. Luke 22:54-62 Peter denies Christ 3 times. The cock crows
9. Matt 26:57-68 Christ in front of the rabble, high priest, scribes and Elders is accused by two false witnesses Jesus condemns self. Caiaphas tears his robe and finds Jesus guilty of blasphemy. Jesus is spit on and hit in the face.
10. Matt 27:1 In morning, Chief Priest Elders and rabble ratify Christ sentence, bound Him and lead him to Pilate
11. John 18:28-38 Pilate questions Jesus, finds no fault.
12. Luke 23:4-12 Pilate sends Jesus to Herod where He is accused by the Chief Priest and Scribes Herod with his men of war mocks Jesus and puts Him in a robe. and returns Jesus back to Pilate.
13. Luke 23:13-23 Pilate tells the rabble. Herod nor Himself Finds Fault in Jesus so he will let Him go.
14 Matt 27:17-30 Pilate tries to release Jesus instead of Barabbas. Pilate’s wife warns Pilate to let Jesus go. The rabble cries for Barabbas and the crucifixion of Jesus. Pilate washes his hands. Jesus makes sure His mother is taken care of He then knows all things has been accomplished I thirst he says they fill A sponge with vinegar and put it in his mouth. He then says it is finished and gives up the ghost. Then came the soldiers to brake his legs but He is already dead. A soldier throws A spear in His side to make sure. Joseph of Arimathea and Ncoidemus takes Christ body and buries Him.

What A powerful sequence of events in A matter of A few hours. So many in His presence but so many lost opportunities.

how could they not recognize the Savior of the world. What could be so different in the rabble and the woman with the issue of Blood who only touched the hem of His Garment and was made whole. My friends what does it take when you are so Close and never fill the saving grace and mercy of God. Where would you place yourself today?

With the Rabble who was close enough to look into the creator of the world’s eyes and say save me oh Lord, and receive eternal life, but choose not to? Or the woman with the issue of blood who knew she was not worthy but with humility and faith only touched the him of His Garment and was made whole?

Did the rabble ever study God’s Word, Did they ever seek God’s Spirit. On that day was anyone  focused on the saving power of the Savior except The thief on the cross. It took A thief, to let the world know the good news, if you just have faith and believe. So many souls were lost on that day 2000 years ago Matthew 27:54 tells us

“The Roman officers were terrified by the earthquake and all that had happened. They said, “This man truly was the Son of God!” But when they went back home, and business as usual, how many truly accepted Christ as there Savior and stayed in His presence. My friends is it business as usual with you.

How is it you can be in the presence of Christ all of your life and not know it. Can we all say as A Christian what Paul tells us in Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

This tells me When you believe on God’s Saving Grace; proclaims him as your Savior and Lord; then the very character of Christ’s nature is connected with you. But my friends that can only come through The Holy Spirit, who will manifest the presence of Christ in us, through God’s Word if we accept, For the word of God is alive and active.

Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Hebrews 4:12 My friends Christ death allowed His presence to forever be A part of us. but you must be familiar with His presence in order to know when you are in it.

I WANT WHAT YOU GOT Exodus 20:17 the tenth commandment

Exodus 20:17“You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.”

Covetousness is simply defined as an intense desire to possess something (or somebody) that belongs to another person.

“The tenth commandment strikes at the very root of all sins, prohibiting the selfish desire, from which springs the sinful act. He who in obedience to God’s law refrains from indulging even a sinful desire for that which belongs to another will not be guilty of an act of wrong toward his fellow creatures.” (E.G. White)

1. Satan coveted Christ position in the Heaven that lead to his downfall and man’s

2. Cain, jealous of his brother and having no regard for anyone but self, murdered his brother
Cain’s selfishness caused him to hate his brother and kill him.

3. David His selfish pursuit of pleasure caused him to sin with Bathsheba. His selfishness then led to lies and murder. Like David, far too many people today are selfishly pursuing pleasure with no regard for either consequences or the impact of their actions upon others.

4. Ahab King Ahab coveted Naboth’s vineyard and pouted when he could not get it (1 Kings 21). His wicked wife Jezebel killed Naboth and then gave his vineyard to her husband as a gift. He was ecstatic. He gave no thought to Naboth or his family. He had what he wanted.

5. James and John, Examples of those who selfishly desire power and prestige for themselves. They asked for the most prestigious and powerful positions in Jesus’ kingdom (Matt. 20), not to help others, but to have their own egos inflated and fulfilled.

Above is examples of Bible characters who allowed Satan to take control of their idle thoughts that moved the mind from I got to have it, too I will do whatever it takes to get it, which in some cases, eventually lead to murder. My friends In the world we live in today sin abounds from every corner on the universe and when we as Christians allow God’s precious time,

to be spent in idle and insignificant thoughts, while  allowing our  minds to be controlled by what Satan introduces to us as entertainment in the form of TV, and the Internet. In most cases this is where our idle thoughts take root, in the  form of relaxation, and recreation from day to day as it begins to frame our minds to want,

the things that others have, or we cannot afford, or the lust of what Hollywood tells you is beautiful, while shutting out the Word of God and His Spirit from finding A entrance into our Heart. If we allow our time to be wasted my friends, Satan and the forces of evil will be all too eager to find things to occupy our time,

As our minds become a safe home for what we hide away in the subconscious of the mind. Oh what A perfect hiding spot for the pondering and meditation of all your desires and the illusions Satan has placed in the mind that leads down the road to craving the unreachable by any means necessary Philippians 4:8 tells us

…whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. “for we must remember that only through God’s Word and Spirit can we fight this Battle, because,

“our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” Ephesians 6:12 Paul set an example when He told the Thessalonians that“You yourselves know how you ought to follow our example.

We were not idle when we were with you. . . . On the contrary, we worked night and day, laboring and toiling so that we would not be a burden to any of you.” 2Thessalonians 3:7-8. NOT BEING IDLE is the key my friends our minds and body should forever be spent in the presence of Christ as we follow His example from day to day.

God connects to us through our Heart, and God changes us by changing our Hearts. And if God is not in control, that is when idle thoughts are generated. My friends As Christians as we look at the world we live in today if our goal is the kingdom, then our minds will never be Idle. “For the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.

So the things of this world that I thought would be “gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ Philippians 3:7-8

So if we allow Christ to control our lives we will always be focus on finishing up the work for the master as we continue our mandate of spreading the good news. of His soon return.  .

MY FRIENDS WHATEVER DAY YOU KEEP, HOW DO YOU KEEP IT? The 4th Commandment Exodus 20:8-10

My Friends, Today we are not here to discuss what day of the week is the Sabbath because we all have our traditions. But what I am concern about as A Child of the King is how do we keep that Special Day. We all agree that it is A holy day that God created, blessed, and hollowed so we will forever stop, and focus on the goodness of our Savior and all He has done for us.

But when His word says six days shall thou labor and then you rest from work, how do we justify working on His Holy day, except when the Word tells us “………Going on from that place, He went into their synagogue, and a man with a shriveled hand was there. Looking for a reason to bring charges against Jesus, they asked him,

“Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?” He said to them, “If any of you has a sheep and it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will you not take hold of it and lift it out? How much more valuable is a person than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.”Matt 12:1-12 So God’s word tells us, it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.

But I don’t believe working at the office, or cutting your lawn, and washing your car, is doing good on the Sabbath or looking at any and everything on TV is doing good on the Sabbath. Ms. White tells us “God has given us six days wherein to labor, and He requires that our work be done in these six working days. Acts of necessity and mercy are permitted on the Sabbath,

the sick and suffering are at all times to be cared for; but unnecessary labor is to be strictly avoided. “Turn away thy foot from the Sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on My holy day; and call the Sabbath a delight, the holy of the Lord, honorable; and . . . honor Him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure.” Isaiah 58:13.

Nor does the prohibition end here. “Nor speaking thine own words,” Those who discuss business matters or lay plans on the Sabbath are regarded by God as though engaged in the actual transaction of business. To keep the Sabbath holy, we should not even allow our minds to dwell upon things of a worldly character.

And the commandment includes all within our gates. The inmates of the house are to lay aside their worldly business during the sacred hours. All should unite to honor God by willing service upon His holy day.” (E,G, White Patriarchs and Prophets) My friends One day out of seven, Our God who gave His only Son to die for these Precepts, has ask His Children to honored them.

Remember In God’s pure and holy kingdom His Children who will endure till the end will praise Him Day and night For John tells us in Rev. 7:9-17 “and behold, a great multitude which no one could count, from every nation and all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes,

and palm branches were in their hands; and they cry out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb……“These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. In Matt. 24 it tells us “……….“But he who endures to the end shall be saved.”

Yes my friends these are the redeemed who endured until the end. They are before the throne of God. These servants are before God’s throne continually because of their faithfulness. He who sits on the throne will forever protect them with his presence. No more suffering, no more trials or tribulation no more death or sickness.

They will hunger no longer, nor thirst anymore; for in John 4:14 it tells us. But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. Yes His sacrifice and our redemption and salvation will forever fill us with joy and Happiness.

We have been saved My friends from the clutches of Satin by the blood of Jesus Christ. And we will forever praise His name. So as we prepare for Eternity can we as children of God obey His Holy and sanctified precepts and take His Holy Day and make it A Special Day Just for Him where you praise and honor just God,

and not the mighty dollar, or yourself in His 24 hour time period that He Blessed, sanctified and made Holy so that we would never forget that He was our Creator and Savior.

If your goal is Eternity in God’s kingdom, then Remember His Commandments my friends. You shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates.

THOU SHALT NOT COMIT ADULTERY/FORNICATION: Exodus 20:14 God’s seventh commandment

Adultery:”Voluntary sexual intercourse between a married person and a partner other than the lawful spouse”
Fornication: “voluntary sexual intercourse between two unmarried persons or two persons not married to each other.

Hebrews 13:4 Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous

Matthew 5:27-29 “You have heard that it was said, You shall not commit adultery; but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye makes you stumble, tear it out and throw it from you; for it is better for you [b]to lose one of the parts of your body, than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.” (NASB)

“One evening David got up from his bed and walked around on the roof of the palace. From the roof he saw a woman bathing. The woman was very beautiful, and David sent someone to find out about her. The man said, “She is Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam and the wife of Uriah the Hittite.

” Then David sent messengers to get her. She came to him, and he slept with her…. Then she went back home. The woman conceived and sent word to David, saying, “I am pregnant.” 2Samuel 11:2-5 My friends It looks like someone forgot to tell David that He was A man after God’s own heart.

The point is even the elect are vulnerable when God’s precious time is not spent wisely, and our focus is not on His presence in our life. The world we live in today is so saturated with visual enticements that go straight at seducing the mind. Mrs White says it best in Letters to Young Lovers

“Those who would not fall a prey to Satan’s devices, must guard well the avenues of the soul; they must avoid reading, seeing, or hearing that which will suggest impure thoughts. The mind must not be left to dwell at random upon every subject that the enemy of souls may suggest. The heart must be faithfully shielded, or evils without,

will awaken evils within, and the soul will wander in darkness. Those who would have that wisdom which is from God must become fools in the sinful knowledge of this age, in order to be wise. They should shut their eyes, that they may see and learn no evil. They should close their ears,

lest they hear that which is evil and obtain that knowledge which would stain their purity of thoughts and acts.And they should guard their tongues, lest they uttercorrupt communications and guile be found in their mouths.” As with David His initial lust went from  Adultery, to Murder to lying but thank God it also lead to repentance,

confession and A renewed commitment to the will of God with these words of sorrow he states “Have mercy upon me, O God, according to Your steadfast love; according to the multitude of Your tender mercy and loving-kindness blot out my transgressions. Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin. Psalm 51:1-2

As A Child of the King we must forever stay focused while maintaining the mind and thoughts of Christ while continually sending our petitions to the good Shepard for strength through His Spirit for we must “Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Ep.6:11-13

My friends to try anything else besides God, in keeping your focus away from what the forces of evil Places in front of us in the world we live in today will be like bringing A knife to A gun fight, you will never be able to win that battle. But with Christ fighting each battle of the mind over the world oh Adultery, fornication or any sin that may beset us, Christ will never loose.

He showed us that 2000 years ago when Satan thought he had taken Christ to the limit of His faith not knowing Christ faith is limitless because He never lost focus of His goal which was Calvary, but each Child of God can walk in the same footsteps of Christ if our  focus is steadfast, while always allowing our faith to be limitless in every situation and circumstances.

Yes my friends through Christ every battle was won for us at the cross, our journey has been set. but hope remains our choice either the world and destruction or Christ through His word and Spirit, eternal life, but choose you this day my friends because soon and very soon Christ will be returning to take all of His faithful Children to the promise land.
