MOUNTAINS!!!

MOUNTAINS!!!

Luke 3:5 Every valley shall be filled in, every mountain and hill made low. The crooked roads shall become straight, the rough ways smooth.

luke-35_1440_1024x768Life, Death, Home, Family, Employment!!! The subject is infinite when we think of one’s problems within the interaction with our day to day life and how we as Christians relate or handle each situation or circumstances that arises. I now use A phrase frequently, when characterizing my journey when I say that my Faith has been stretched to the limit.

But with me personally the story never ends there because the God I serve is unlimited, unmeasurable, and infinitely, in extent of space, duration of time in regards to what He is capable of doing for me in my life each day. And my friends I hope and pray he is also A infinite God in your journey as well.

In Matthew 7:9-11 it tells us “Which of you, if your son or daughter asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!

David&GoliathI love to study the character of God’s friends, specifically the one God tells us in Acts 13:22 referring to Him as “a man after my own heart;” He can say this about His friend because “he will do everything I want him to do.” God’s friend is confronted with A MOUNTAIN, or A champion named Goliath.

In 1Samuel 17:45 David tells his MOUNTAIN “You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the Lord will deliver you into my hands, and I’ll strike you down and cut off your head.

This very day I will give the carcasses of the Philistine army to the birds and the wild animals, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel. All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves; for the battle or MOUNTAIN is the Lord’s, and he will give all of you into our hands.”

My friends do you think if Goliath height and size was three times what it was when He stood before David, David would have disrespected Him the way He did, well as a bystander to this story, I can say because I am also A friend of God.

The size of the MOUNTAIN did not matter to David because He Knew He served A God who created the MOUNTAIN. Elijah faced a MOUNTAIN also, in the form of 450 Prophets of Baal on MOUNT Carmel. In 1Kings 18:36:40 it tells us At the time of sacrifice, the prophet Elijah stepped forward and prayed:

imgres“Lord, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, let it be known today that you are God in Israel and that I am your servant and have done all these things at your command. Answer me, Lord, answer me, so these people will know that you, Lord, are God, and that you are turning their hearts back again.”

Then the fire of the Lord fell and burned up the sacrifice, the wood, the stones and the soil, and also licked up the water in the trench. When all the people saw this, they fell prostrate and cried, “The Lord he is God! The Lord he is God!” Then Elijah commanded them, “Seize the prophets of Baal. Don’t let anyone get away!”

They seized them, and Elijah had them brought down to the Kishon Valley and slaughtered there.” Maybe if there were 10,000 or 100,000 prophets of Baal he would not have disrespected them the way He did. Well once again, my God created the MOUNTAIN that David and Elijah had to Go over. and  neither hesitated.

For in Psalm 55:22 it tells us to “Cast your cares or Mountains on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.”but today my friends what about your MOUNTAINS your TRIALS, How far must your Faith be stretched before you realize that our God is a infinite God who has no limits.

He tells us in Jeremiah 23:23-24 Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD But My friends today maybe you can not reach the top of your MOUNTAIN because “your iniquities have separated you from your God; and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear” (Isaiah 59:2).

Friends, If your desire is to take your JOURNEY with Christ, then you must have the character of Christ and allow Him through His Word and Spirit to take full control of your life. Jesus Christ on Calvary, when taken upon Himself, the full penalty of our sins. Oh what A MOUNTAIN He had to climb.

For on the MOUNT of olivet it was our Savior’s humanity that recognized the difficulty of His MOUNTAIN He had to climb, it was His humanity that knew the jesus-gethsemane2height of this MOUNTAIN He was about to take would seem impossible, But He stayed FOCUSED and PRAYED more earnestly then ever before, until his sweat, was like drops of blood, falling to the ground.

When he rose from prayer and went back to the disciples, he found them asleep, exhausted from sorrow He asked. “Why are you sleeping?”.“Get up!!! Get up!!! and pray so that you will not fall into temptation.” He knew what MOUNTAIN layed ahead for each of them.

But remember this is the same Jesus that faced a MOUNTAIN in the form of a raging storm on the Sea of Galilee, totally composed, and undisturbed. He also faced MOUNTAINS in the form of demonic hostility, OH, So Calm. MOUNTAINS from Satan and the religious Elect, at every step, All of this with total restraint.

But here in the Garden, Humanity took its toil at just the thought of not conquering that MOUNTAIN that lay before Him, as the whole weight of the world was on His shoulders. But His Faith, and Prayer’s and staying FOCUSED as He CONQUERED THAT MOUNTAIN, is the reason we all can face our MOUNTAIN and TRIALS also each day.

Psalm 139:7-10 tells us about the infinite God we serve “Where shall I go from your Spirit? Or where shall I flee from your presence? If I ascend to heaven, you are there! If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there! If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there your hand shall lead me,and your right hand shall hold me. so what MOUNTAIN will our God not allow us to say “ in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. Romans 8:37

I will lift up mine eyes to the hills
From whence cometh my help
My help cometh from the Lord
The Lord Which made heaven and earth
He said, He will not suffer thy foot; thy foot to be moved
The Lord Which keepeth thee
He will not slumber nor sleep
For the Lord is thy keeper
The Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand
Upon thy right hand
For the sun shall not smite thee by day
Nor the moon by night
He shall preserve thy soul
Even forever more
My help,
All of my help
Cometh from the Lord

21st CENTURY MARRIAGE

21st CENTURY MARRIAGE

Sep. 12, 2013

Nearly Two million divorces will probably be granted this year in the United States. This is three times the number recorded just twenty years ago. The 21st century has witnessed a striking increase in the Divorce rate. Most nations of the world seem to be following a similar trend.

divorcepng

Today, more than one out of every three marriages ends in divorce; unfortunately, families within the church are following this world pattern to an alarming rate. More and more spouses choose divorce as a way to escape from Obstacles in their family life, instead of facing the problem, while allowing God to be the center of their marriage. Usually the reasons for this rising divorce rate, falls into three main categories:

1. Changes in the women’s roles in the home.

2. Adultery in the marriage.

3. financial instability.

As we leap into the 21st century, we face a whole new world of marital problems, especially as we focus on the breakdown of the modern day marriage and family, and the epidemic statistics as such, in our society as a whole. While there is hardly a Christian family that, directly or indirectly, does not know the pain of divorce.

An important factor that contributes to this alarming escalation of divorce among Christians is the growing acceptance of the societal view or compromise of the standard of marriage as a social contract, governed by civil laws, rather than as a sacred covenant, witnessed and guaranteed by God Himself.

imagesInstead of promising each other faithfulness “till death do us part,” many couples are adopting the modern day version of the marriage vow, by pledging to remain together “as long as we both shall love. The recent, no fault divorce law, makes the dissolution of marriage so easy that some lawyers advertise divorce services for less than $100.00. All legal fees and services are included in one low price. What a sad commentary on the cheapness of marriage today.

What God has united, many will put asunder for less than what Judas sold our Lord and Savior for, a measly thirty pieces of silver. Satan therefore is gaining much more success as he plants his banner in the marriage institution, that same institution God implemented and blessed at creation, between man and woman, in the Garden of Eden. But it has always been Satan’s plan to debase, demoralize, and pervert the marriage institution while weakening its sacredness, and commitment to the words that couples should make in the presence of God which states.

To be true to each other in good and bad times, to love and honor each other all the days of your lives, committing to have and to hold for better or worse for richer or poorer in sickness and health, to love and to cherish, from this day forward until death do us part.

unhappy-coupleAnd once repeated before God these vows should be with God’s grace, who is and should always be the foundation of the marriage and home. On this happy occasion Satan observes carefully each day, as he studies one’s heart, and mind, as he has with fiendish intensity for six thousand years, while pointing out most easily one’s character flaws that would cause each and everyone who takes their marriage vows to lose sight of Christ, while never willing to yield or compromise with one another thus bringing on unhappiness and most cases divorce.

But each, man and woman must have the Spirit of God and if the Spirit of God dwells in one’s heart there will be a type of heaven on earth in the home, and by God’s grace each will succeed in making the other happy till death do you part. So as your marriage vows unites you as one, the wife is to respect her husband, the husband is to love and cherish his wife so their belief in Christ should make them as one in Him, while they seek to become more and more ingrained with the Spirit of Christ.

Thus, allowing for a perfect harmony between the husband and wife who enter into a covenant with God. So today, let man and woman in the presence of God pledge themselves to love each other as God has ordained they should, and in your life together your affections are to complement each other’s happiness and individuality in other words, God should always be the focus of your individuality.

Of Him you are to ask: What is right? What is wrong? How may I best fulfill your purpose in our union together? For if we don’t place God at the center, Satan will be ever ready to take advantage when any matter of variance arises. Because it is at that point he moves upon the objectionable and different traits of character in husband or wife, while causing alienation between both parties who have united a solemn convenient before God.

So always remember, in your marriage if the law of God is obeyed, and cherished, Satan will be kept out of the home and family, and compromise of interest for one another, will always take place, and no alienation of affection will be permitted.

And as we move closer to Christ soon coming, Satan will work with all the powers he tempted ancient Israel, just before they entered the PromiseLand. He will lay snares for those who claim to keep Gods commandments and as we are right at the heavenly borders he will use all powers, to destroy God’s children at their weakest point in their marriage.

7206835_s

But if you will stay focused on Christ abiding love, and endure through His word and Spirit while upholding those vows sacred you both made in His presence. what grace has begun, the glory of God will present with A victory crown one day, very soon, in His pure and holy kingdom.

So my friends today. Stay focused, remain faithful, love one another and endure till the end and never forget to STUDY&PRAY

ROMANS 1:16

T

ROMANS 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.

not-ashamed-of-the-gospel-web_000“I AM NOT ASHAME OF THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST.” And we as Christians need never to be ashamed of our Christian faith because of God’s promises in Romans 5:5 “And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.”

Romans 10:11 also says For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame” In this text Paul is asking us to go deep within and search diligently your heart and soul if you claim to be a child of God, then ask yourself, “AM I ASHAMED of the Gospel of Christ? Do my friends, relatives, love one’s, co-workers, know you are a soldier in the army of God?

Does the world know that you proclaim Calvary in all you do and say each day? And, do you tell others about the transforming power of Christ that took place in your life, and if so, are they also willing to allow the Master to transform there lives? When is the last time you spoke to someone about the saving grace of Jesus Christ and him crucified?

Or when was the last time you passed out a tract proclaiming the name of Christ? Was it today, yesterday, last week, or perhaps a month ago, or maybe A year ago, or maybe, it has never crossed your mind. My friends, as Christians, we are recipients of the good news of Jesus soon return, but the Gospel is not for the Saved, but the lost generation who are seeking a sign.

In Matthew 12:39 it says An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign. In the 21st Century the good new’s of the gospel is the sign the world looks for. friends dreamstime_11119857history tells us millions of martyrs died for this same gospel many of you are ASHAME to proclaim. Most were not some skilled competent, pastor, or eloquent professional in the area of the Bible, or Hebrew philosophy.

But the good news of the gospel was mostly proclaimed by the common man or woman who experienced the transforming power of the holy Spirit in there lives, and just wanted to proclaim this good news of what Christ had done, and was doing in there lives, as they were sinking deep in sin. When His Love and grace, not wanting them to perish, brought them to safety.

What a wonderful message to proclaim as you begin to tell how our loving Savior lifted you up and brought you to Safety in His loving, caring and merciful arms. if you are willing to give it all for the Master the Bible will speak for itself through Gods Spirit. Because there is power in the Word!

David, declared in Psalms 31:1, “In Thee, O Lord, do I put my trust; let me never be ASHAMED: deliver me in Thy righteousness.” And the Apostle Paul tells us in Romans 10:9-11, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

For with the heart man believe-th unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture saith, Whosoever believe-th on Him SHALL NOT BE ASHAMED.”

imagesIf you are ASHAMED of the good news of Jesus Christ then you have not allowed God’s Spirit to make a complete transformation in your Character. But when you proclaim the Gospel to the world, It enables you to have A life changing conversion, and also, whoever accepts this good news message, and applies it in there lives,

while allowing the power of God’s grace to place them on A pathway to Calvary and salvation. As Christians we sometimes try and live in our own strength as we begin to rationalize within our minds why we are not able to be torch bearers for the kingdom of God. So with that attitude, Satan now has rendered us powerless, and weak.

But Paul tells us “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” “Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.” So my friends today do you stand up and stand out for the Master? Are you A bold believer with A heartfelt passion to proclaim His name.

Do you stand like Paul and say, “I’m not ASHAMED of the gospel of Christ.” We put the cross of gold around our necks, but that same cross represent our Savior’s path and crucifixion on Calvary. along with the persecution of thousands of Christian martyr’s who were killed by stoning, crucifixion, burning at the stake,

eaten by lions in a arena for public amusement, and many many other forms of torture and capital punishment, man through the influence of the forces of evil imagescould come up with. Jesus went to Calvary as A common criminal. the gospel that we so love and cherish today in our various churches was identified with a poor Jewish carpenter.

Who died not for the sins of all mankind, but Jesus was brought before Pilate to be punished. According to God’s word. The Jewish leaders accused Jesus of CLAIMING to be the king of the Jews, which is how they perceived their awaited Messiah.

“We found this man subverting our nation, forbidding us to pay the tribute tax to Caesar and claiming that he himself is Christ, a king” (Luke 23:2) then The Jewish leaders replied, “We have a law, and according to our law he ought to die, because he claimed to be the Son of God!” (John 19:7)

So my Friends, The question I have for you today is, are you still Crucifying our Savior today by being ASHAMED OF THE GOSPEL. Remember the secret to every Christian’s success in his or her mandate from God, will be found in the harmonious and daily working of all Christians along with the Holy Spirit, As we take the “Gospel of the kingdom throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then “THE END WILL COME.”

WHEN WAS IT FINISHED?

Sep. 10, 2013

WHEN WAS IT FINISHED?

Satan has had close to six thousand years to study prophecy. And he knew over two thousand years ago when Christ said “IT IS FINISHED!” that his days were numbered. Yes, at that point, Satan knew without a doubt, that all the prophesies, all the laws, all the prophets before Christ, terminated on the cross when Christ repeated, just three words. And everything from that point is than consummated, because this is where God concludes, to everyone who believes, “IT IS FINISH!”.

it-is-finishedThree simple words became Satan’s demise. “IT IS FINISHED!”. I don’t believe that ever in history of our world, anywhere, at any time, by anybody, where three words, were more pertinent with there meaning, than these three words given by one man our Savior on Calvary. “IT IS FINISHED!” In John 19:30 it says “When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar He said, ‘IT IS FINISHED!’ and He bowed His head and gave up the ghost.”

And I  believe, Satan and all the forces of evil were totally shocked, and amazed! You see, this is the platform into which Jesus is moving.  The first 30 years of His life, is in preparation for the last three. “The terror Satan must have felt when Christ said “IT IS FINISHED”! I can only imagine demons asking Satan what’s happening as they see Jesus dying on the cross.

I can see angels looking over the parapets of heaven, I can see the Jews the Romans and the Greeks all there together on Calvary wondering what is this all about. But it was not until the death of Christ, that Satan’s character clearly was revealed. Satan had so hidden himself with duplicity, and deceit that even the holy Angels had not understood the course he took or why.

The plan of redemption was completed at Calvary the character of God was revealed to all mankind, and God’s love and honor is now established. The destruction of sin and Satan was forever made certain to all, at the cross, and the redemption and salvation of man was guaranteed. And the universe was forever protected from the penalty of sin. When Christ cried out, “IT IS FINISHED.

Each Old Testament prophet before Christ was like an artist that came along and put their own unique style on the canvas of this story. One by one, they came, each putting their distinct, color and touch on the canvas. Then as Christ is Crucified, we have the final stroke which FINISHES the picture, and interpretation of God’s sacrifice.

And now the revelation to mankind IS FINISHED! And Satan’s fate is sealed. But we as Christians have A responsibility, because it is only an individuals who has walked with God who recognizes the importance of Paul”s statement in Romans 5:7-9 when he says.

“Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: imgresWhile we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him!”

John says it best in John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” So our mandate Comes directly from our savior who did it all for us. And that is to tell the world “IT IS FINISHED!”

And through Christ, we whose heart is fixed to serve God will always find the opportunity to be witnesses for Him, because the more we can focus on the character and love of Christ the more we come to realize that we must follow Him all the way to Calvary by being A humble servant to others as we carry out Christ mission to go into all the world and tell everyone IT IS FINISHED.

Remember success as a Christian for Christ is not Him asking us to devote ourselves to His cause: but for us to yield ourselves to His will. Every excuse in word and action, with every element of fear and faithlessness to continue witnessing for Him was challenged and answered on the cross. When He said IT IS FINISHED’.

Like Christ who forever stayed focused on His goal, which was the cross, and our salvation. The words IT IS FINISHED places each individual who has decided to endure till the end, responsibilities, and  duties that will be peculiar to the times in which they live. But the message is still the same. Satan was defeated on Calvary. and now the controversy is FINISHED.

imagesAs we enter into the final days of this life’s history, as God’s Children begin to finish this race, while allowing the light of Gods Spirit to also be open before those we witness to. Remember truth is no more desired by the majority today than it was when Christ was on this earth. So we must not get discourage as we use Christ as our example forever enduring to the end to be witnesses for Christ.

And at that time, all who saw Christ in us here on this earth, and believed. will finally come to understand the sympathetic, and loving interest which was taken by our Savior, and the faithful workers of Christ, so that they may have salvation. And then, together on one accord, in adoration, throughout the heavenly courts, we will all give God the praise, glory and honor, for we will forever recognize fully.

AS WE LIVE THROUGHOUT THE CEASELESS AGES OH ETERNITY without Satan telling us otherwise, what Love, grace, and mercy was employed in the salvation of mankind when God sent His only Begotten Son, to die on a cruel cross, so that we may all be saved from the penalty of sin. And now my friends that is the END OF THE STORY.

So my friends today. Stay focused, remain faithful, love one another and endure till the end and never forget to STUDY&PRAY

ROAD TO GOD’S KINGDOM, GOES THROUGH THE POOR!!!

July 18, 2013

ROAD TO GOD’S KINGDOM, GOES THROUGH THE POOR!!!

“To accept passively an unjust system is to cooperate with that system; thereby the oppressed become as evil as the oppressor”. Martin Luther King Jr. “It takes a village originated with the teachings of Jesus. But the village must be an environment in which families and individuals are supported and strengthened by each of us whose goal it is to walk the same path as Christ walked to Calvary.

“A nation that continues year after year to spend more money on military defense than on social programs for the poor, is approaching spiritual doom.” Martin Luther King Jr.

poor_jesusWe as A nation continue to bring the middle class down to such a low poverty level that only the return of Christ will  they ever be able to escape from it.  As the majority of the rich throughout the world we live in, believe only in the god of money. But If I am not mistaken, In God We Trust is still on our currency, but whose god. Not The God I serve.

Being unwanted, unloved, uncared for, forgotten by everybody, I think that is a much greater hunger, a much greater poverty than the person who has nothing to eat. (Mother Teresa) The God I serve, died on the cross for all and loved all, which includes the rich and the poor.

As we get closer to Christ return many of our church doors are even being locked to the poor. When someone phone’s a church asking for help, they are usually sent  to a shelter, or an agency which the government funds, which most in congress want to cut the funding for.

Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly. “I can never be what I ought to be until you are what you ought to be. This is the interrelated structure of reality.” Martin Luther King Jr. In Proverbs it also states “He who oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honors God.” Proverbs 14:31.

As Christians we must individualized our stance on our compassion for others as Christ did and hope it will catch own to others as we spread Gods word. For “He who oppresses the poor to increase his wealth, and he who gives gifts to the rich both come to poverty.” Proverbs 22:16

Ezekiel says it best in Ezekiel 16:49-50 “Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did notimages help the poor and needy. They were haughty and did detestable things before me. Therefore I did away with them as you have seen.”

God states clearly that he destroyed Sodom’s sins because of their pride, and their excess of food while the poor and needy suffered. The bible maintains a clear position on the poor throughout its pages, and, interestingly, it has less to do with them than it has to do with us and how we treat the poor.

In Deuteronomy 15:11 it says There will always be poor people in the land. Therefore I command you to be openhanded toward your brothers and toward the poor and needy in your land. Christians are commanded to help one another but we are also called to help those who are less fortunate than we are.

Proverbs 21:13 is among the most powerful calls from God to help those who are hungry, it tells us “If a man shuts his ears to the cry of the poor, he too will cry out and not be answered.” 1 John 3:17 states that, “If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person?

As Christians, our Character to be like Christ is shaped by how we treat the poor and needy. We don’t get into heaven, by going to church, or by being moral. We don’t even get  into heaven by being good. No! we only get into heaven by loving as Christ loved, and Caring as Christ cared, especially for the vulnerable and needy.

imagesEven when this is not spiritually motivated, by our churches, or those around us. It must be an individual passion and A heartfelt concern. That only comes about by walking with God each and every day. And as we make this walk it determines our eternal destiny. For everyone who takes a daily walk with God, has within themselves the capacity to love everyone, as Christ loved.

Dr. King, always a believer in nonviolent civil disobedience, spent his last months organizing the national Poor People’s Campaign, which sought to bring low-income Americans from all racial and ethnic backgrounds. As he focused on poverty he also dramatize the pressing need for jobs, income, healthcare, and housing;

As he also raise essential questions about the gap between the rich and poor in America. But forty five years later, America still has not gotten it, even though we are at a crossroad in history, as we move further into the 21 century, and  Christ soon return. “All too many of those who live in affluent America ignore those who exist in poor America ”Martin Luther King, Jr.

And today my friends I don’t speak to the world or to the “fool who says in his heart, “There is no God.” For They are corrupt, their deeds are vile…”Ps. 14:1. But I speak to the Christian whose destiny is Gods pure and holy kingdom. Luke says “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to bring good news to the poor…. ” (Luke 4:18)

And once we as Christians have taken care of one’s physically needs it will be easy to lead them to the love of Christ, because they already see Christ in us. So as the world moves farther and farther away  from Gods will and responsibility to the poor. Ask yourself  how can I as a Christian keep from “conforming to the pattern of this world, as I transform my mind, and character as I carry out Gods will in my life. And in the end, the Master will say to me, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’

TO REACH, PASSION OF FAITH!!!

September 8. 2013

TO REACH, PASSION OF FAITH!!!

jesushealingAnd, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment: For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole. But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole.

And the woman was made whole from that hour. Matthew 9:20-22 Whenever we speak of this Bible Story, we usually deal with the healing aspect of the story instead of the power of Jesus Christ and Him Crucified to save the sinner sinking deep in sin. His ability to perform miracles is secondary.

For healing the sick, piece of Cake Ps. 30:2 tells us  “O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.” Money problems, no problem Psalm 24:1 says “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it”, Mortgage problems is that all you got “In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you…. “John 14:2

Matthew 7:7 tells us“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. Paul tells us in Ephesians 3:20 “Now unto him that do-you-hold-the-right-hand-of-jesusis able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.”

My friends let’s not miss the message of Christ Actions by focusing only on the miracle of healing, and not on the Saving Grace of the Master and all He is willing and able to do for us. Often when Jesus healed in the gospels, He told the person that was healed not to tell anyone. It was not because He was trying to hide The power of His miracles.

But He knew the need of our focus to be on His name, and journey to  Calvary. Twelve years of constant blood flow. What physical strength the woman with the issue of blood must have endured to get to the Master. Exhausted and smothered by the crowd, oh so desperate just to get to the Savior.

Finally falling to her knees as she told herself, “If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole” ( Matt. 9: 21) reaching, crawling, hyperventilating, oh what PASSION as she reached out her hand and touched His garment as He passed her. That was all it took. She did not have to talk to Him, she did not have to tell Him her problems.

“Lord, you have examined me and know all about me.You know when I sit down and when I get up.You know my thoughts before I think them. You know where I go and where I lie down. You know everything I do. Lord, even before I say a word, Ps. 139 1:4. She just needed that faith, it took to reach out to Him.

A faith we must all have as we tell Him, Jesus, I need you, please don’t pass me by, I don’t mean to waste your time, but I have A passion deep down inside just to touch you. Every Situations and circumstances in my life tells me I have no hope, but I here in your touch There is hope for the hopless, Rest for the weary, Love for the broken hearted.

And then if that is not enough. You give grace, mercy, and forgiveness, as you meet me wherever, at whatever place in my life I am at. And when the wind and rain, beats against the very fiber of my existence, you tell me not to be afraid just cry out. “Lord, save me!” Oh your power grace, and mercy know no bounds, and all we have to do is have the faith to reach out.

imagesFor “your grace is sufficient for me, your power is made perfect in all of my weaknesses.” So my friends please today stretched your faith to the very limit it will go, because there will be a testimony of praise in the end. So let God work his will in you.“Submit yourselves……Come near to God and he will come near to you.”

For with Christ Faith knows no barriers. Neither does God’s love and his williness to give. So “To pray without soul hunger and living faith, avails nothing. A nominal faith in Christ, which accepts Him merely as the Saviour of the world, can never bring healing to the soul. The faith that is unto salvation is not a mere intellectual assent to the truth.

He who waits for A entire knowledge before he will exercise faith, cannot receive blessing from God. It is not enough to believe about Christ; we must believe in Him. The only faith that will benefit us is that which embraces Him as a personal Saviour; which appropriates His merits to ourselves. Many hold faith as an opinion.

Saving faith is a transaction by which those who receive Christ join themselves in covenant relation with God. Genuine faith is life. A living faith means an increase of vigor, a confiding trust, by which the soul becomes a conquering power.” (E.G. White Desire og Ages pp347)

So once again focus less on the healing power of Christ but the saving grace of the Savior. Remember if you can just reach in faith. God will give to the one with a boldness and passion to endure, because that boldness is not inspired by the person’s confidence in himself or anything he has done.

But It’s inspired by his confidence in God’s grace, mercy, and love and the promises of His Word and Spirit that will transform our lives as we die daily to Christ as we follow Him to Calvary. For Paul tells us in

touchGalatians 2:20 – I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. My friends REACH REACH AND REACH SOME MORE stretch your faith to the limit.

For faith does not make things easy, it only makes things possible. So today “Trust in the Lord with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding or knowledge. And then one day in Gods pure and holy kingdom as you walk “down the middle of the great street of the city.

On each side of the river you will be able to REACH FOR THE TREE OF LIFE, as you eat from the twelve crops of fruit, that yields its fruit every month…… Rev 22:2 MY FRIENDS SOON AND VERY SOON, OH WHAT A DAY, OH WHAT A DAY!!!!!

So friends stay focused, remain faithful, love one another and endure till the end and never forget to STUDY&PRAY As you rest in the Bosom of Christ

UNCHANGEABLE/PROSPERITY THROUGH CHRIST!!!

Sep. 7, 2013

UNCHANGEABLE/PROSPERITY THROUGH CHRIST!!!

Psalm 33:11 “The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the plans of his heart to all generations.”

Severe changes are mounting,  life is emptied of most of our resources, hopes and ambitions are fading, and our first reaction of all of our anguish is to think God is cruel. Why did He allow it to happen. But my Word tells me God is love “Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love” So how can He be cruel and love at the same time. What I also know is “Our God is unchangeable “The concept of a growing or developing God is not found in the Scriptures.  It seems to me impossible to think of God as varying from Himself in any way” A.W. Tozer

UnchangingHebrews 13:8 tells us “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” God is unchanging in his character, purpose, and love. So why do we have difficulty taking our days independently.

We usually look at one day endowed with success, and happiness, and another darkened with trials, failure, or why did I even get out of bed mentality.

Why such a propensity towards a changing attitude if our purpose is to be like a changeless God. Numbers 23:19 says God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?”

But as Christians victory in Christ must come about when we recognize that if our days are spent in the presence of the good Shepherd, our PASSION. and I don’t use the word lightly, because the word PASSION must be A attitude that being in Gods presence instills into us. PASSION is defined as any powerful or compelling emotion or feeling.

And this power can only come from A PASSIONATE GOD whose word ” is alive and active.” in our lives “Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even dreamstime_11119857to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” Heb 4:12

Now that same power allows our mental capacity to say I am unchangeable no mater what the circumstances, situation or affliction in one’s life, simply because I serve an unchangeable God no matter what this world deems as changeable, for my  focus is only on A unchangeable life through Christ.

As Christians we must never forget Calvary, and A unchanging God who put it all on the line to send his unchanging Begotten son, In the midst of affliction, and a world marred by sin and the forces of evil so that we may focus on His changeless Character for our Salvation. Yes as A child of God I can say My God never changes.

Men have tried to destroy His character. The French infidel Voltaire said of Jesus, “Christianity is the most ridiculous, the most absurd and bloody religion that has ever infected the world.”

He also boasted, “In twenty years Christianity will be no more. My single hand shall destroy the edifice it took twelve apostles to rear. He’s dead but Christ lives on.”  Thomas Paine wrote “The Age of Reason” in which he scoffed against Christ and the Word of God, but he died a drunkard’s death and my Lord and Savior lives on.

jesus-heb13-8He is A Changeless God. At creation He was the Alpha  Gen 1:1 “in the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth” and in the end He will still be God and God along the Omega when He enters the clouds to take the faithful back with Him.

Mark 13:26-27 tells us And then they will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory. And then he will send out the angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of heaven. And I my friends call that the end. No more controversy on His unchangeing love. “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end. Revelation 22:13

Every attempt to destroy the character of Christ has failed. His critics die each day as they await there judgement before a unchanging God 2 Cor 5:10 “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.”

He is as far above all His critics as the heavens are above the earth Jesus Christ character is perfect. He never changes in His love or His Character. so when john tells us in 1 John 3:2 Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears,we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.

At this moment ask yourself today, have I allowed the god of this world to transform your unchangaeble character to a changeable  Characters  by “Setting your mind  “on earthly things” and “not on things above.”

In 1 Kings 2:3 it tells us to “observe what the Lord your God requires: Walk in obedience to him, and keep his decrees and commands, his laws and regulations, as written in the Law of Moses. Do this so that you may PROSPER in all you do and wherever you go.

Revelation 3:12 tells us “The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on them my new name.”

“Let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant,” To be spiritually prosperous we must have a faith that is UNCHANGEABLE. And the imagesfaith of the Christian, that is produced through God’s word , “Except ye believe that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.”We must believe that God “Is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think” in our lives.

Our PASSION to be like Christ. First we must believe in “the exceeding greatness of his power to make our character as unchangeable as his. Then we must believe that we can accomplish anything even through affliction, to live A changeless life, as our Savior lived.

Many who claim to be followers of Christ are refusing to be unchangeable in their attitude of prosperity through Christ, His word, and there faith. But my friends “Where is your faith?” Our Lord said, “If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.” The first step toward an unchangeable charactor and prosperity is A PASSION!!!! AND THE POWER TO MAKE IT HAPPEN THROUGH CHRIST AND HIM CRUCIFIED

THIS IS NOT OUR HOME!!!!

September 6, 2013

THIS IS NOT OUR HOME!!!!

god-of-the-living“For here we do not have an enduring city, but we are looking for the city that is to come.” 1 Peter 1:17 also tells us Since you call on a Father who judges each person’s work impartially, live out your time as foreigners here in reverent fear. And once we have done this our next responsibility is to tell A world that has lost sight of the saving grace of Christ that this is not there Home.

Paul says “our citizenship is in heaven” So as Christians our minds must stay on things not of this world, as we live with the future of what my God has prepared for me. Christ words in John 14:1:4 tells me “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in me, In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you……that where I am, there you may be also…..”

“This world is not my home; I am just passing through. We as Christians, should always feel like aliens, or strangers in a foreign country The Psalmist said, in Ps. 119:19 “I am a stranger on earth” Though we travel as temporary residents, our mandate as Christians is to tell others of the good news of a new home.

As The pilgrim Abraham interceded for Sodom and rescued Lot. 1 Peter 3:15 urges believers to make a difference it says “but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you….

As Christians we are called to be part of God’s Rescue Squad, we are to throw out the lifeline, as we fulfill our part of His Great Commission to go into all the world tumblr_l4la904bSJ1qbf0dvo1_r1_1280and preach of a New home to others. Many of us have been strangers at some time in our lives, to a certain city or community. After awhile we become comfortable.

We adjust, as we begin to adopt to the customs of our new surroundings. In time, we no longer feel like strangers. But scripture warns us not to become comfortable here on earth. For Jesus Christ is our only true source of comfort and security. he gives us small portions of eternity as we travel this journey He has placed us on.

As He gives us the physically, mental, and spiritual strength to meet the challenges that confront us each day. as strangers here on earth Chrisr is our focal point to eternity and our new home. in Hebrews 13:14-16 it tells us “For this world is not our home; we are looking forward to our city in heaven, which is yet to come.

With Jesus’ help, let us continually offer our sacrifice of praise to God by proclaiming the glory of his name. Don’t forget to do good and to share what you have with those in need, for such sacrifices are very pleasing to God.” So as we continue our journey to the promise land. Now today let’s all do as the demoniac did when he was sent home to tell what the Lord had done for him.

He was to be a living representative of our Lord and Savior. They were to see in him a transformation from the touch of the Master’s hand. Luke 8:38-40 tells us The man from whom the demons had gone out begged to go with him, but Jesus sent him away, saying, “Return home and tell how much God has done for you.

url”So the man went away and told all over town how much Jesus had done for him. NOW WHEN JESUS RETURNED, A CROWD WELCOMED HIM, FOR THEY WERE ALL EXPECTING HIM. also on our Journey to the promise land lets do as The woman of Samaria in the same way went to the men of the city, and said, “Come, see a man that told me all things that ever I did:

Is not this the Christ?” in john 4 it tells us She went without a command, and made the Saviour known. MANY OF THE SAMARITANS FROM THAT TOWN BELIEVED IN HIM BECAUSE OF THE WOMAN’S TESTIMONY, “He told me everything I ever did.”

So when the Samaritans came to him, they urged him to stay with them, and he stayed two days. And because of his words many more became believers. My friends Christ assured His disciples that He went to prepare A mansions for them in His Father’s house.

“Those who accept the teachings of God’s word will not be wholly ignorant concerning the heavenly abode. And yet, “eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9. Human language is inadequate to describe the reward of the righteous. It will be known only to those who behold it.

No finite mind can comprehend the glory of the Paradise of God. In the Bible the inheritance of the saved is called “a country.” Hebrews 11:14-16. There the heavenly Shepherd leads His flock to fountains of living waters. God’s people, so long pilgrims and wanderers, shall find a home. “My people will dwell in a peaceful habitation, in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places.”

“Violence shall no longer be heard in your land, neither wasting nor destruction within your borders; but you shall call your walls Salvation, and your gates Praise.”7_heaven “They shall build houses and inhabit them; they shall plant vineyards and eat their fruit. They shall not build and another inhabit; they shall not plant and another eat; . . . My elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.” Isaiah 32:18; 60:18; 65:21, 22.

There will be no more tears, no funeral trains, no badges of mourning. “There shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. . . . for the former things have passed away.” “The inhabitant will not say, ‘I am sick’; the people who dwell in it will be forgiven their iniquity.” Revelation 21:4; Isaiah 33:24.

There is the New Jerusalem, the metropolis of the glorified new earth, “a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God.” “Her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal.” “The nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it.” Saith the Lord:

“I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in My people.” “The tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.” Isaiah 62:3; Revelation 21:11, 24; Isaiah 65:19; Revelation 21:3. . . . E. G. White the great The Great Controversy, p. 674-678

NOW THAT’S WHAT I’M TALKING ABOUT!!!  I HAVE  ALREADY MADE MY RESERVATION  I WILL BE THERE SOON!!! WILL YOU?

UNCHANGEBLE AND PROSPERITY

UNCHANGEBLE!!! AND PROSPERITY!!!

Psalm 33:11 “The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the plans of his heart to all generations.”

Severe changes are mounting,  life is emptied of most of our resources, hopes and ambitions are fading, and our first reaction of all of our anguish is to think God is so cruel. Why did He allow it to happen. Hebrews 13:8 tells us “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” God is unchanging in his character, purpose, and love. So why do we have difficulty taking our days separately.

“Let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant,” To be spiritually prosperous we must have a faith that is UNCHANABLE. And the faith of the Christian is produced through God’s word , “Except ye believe that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.”We must believe that God “Is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think” in our lives.

EULOGY FOR A FRIEND, RESTING IN THE BOSOM OF CHRIST!!!!

September 4, 2013

RESTING IN THE BOSOM OF CHRIST!!!!

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”Matthew 11:28-30

2012_05_fp_childrensnoring_sCan you remember as a child playing outside all day, coming in the house, momma having dinner ready, you eat, bath, get ready for bed, mother tucks you in gives you a kiss, one that always assured you that nothing would ever harm you. With that assurance of love, and protection we would sleep 10 to 12 hours until morning with no interruptions. let’s now move forward to today.

Three hours a night, is a good night sleep for me. In the last 30 or 40 years this has been my routine, never a moment of peaceful rest, forever moving, tossing and turning thru the night, with life’s burdens of the next day or week always before me or somewhere in my subconcious. But then about 8 am August 29th I got a phone call.

Tellling me my, MENTOR, PROFESSOR AND FRIEND, 13 years my senior had died. At that moment I laid my head down and closed my eyes and just focused on God AND GOD ALONG, and not on the madness of this life, or World we live in. I found myself asking, what does God really want from me.

And then God at that moment, laid me in His Bosom, wipe away my tears, and spoke to me as a Friend, Oh what a God we serve. Today as I look at life, and death, and what it means to each of us, I have decided to focus on being totally rested spiritually, I never want to be weary, burdened and heavy laden again.

imagesFor Christ tells me to “Take His yoke and learn from me For I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your soul. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Rest has evaded me as long as I can remember but now I do understand that Christ and Calvary is the only way a person can find Peace and rest for their mind, Body, and soul,

And now my friend is at rest, after several years of pain and suffering. And today God wants each of us to be at rest also spiritually, And live by His vision of discernment and not A false vision that the world we live in has to offer, but a genuine vision that leads toward a path that is guided by His presence.

It’s A very difficult process because to exercise A spiritual vision, and rest, we must accept each situation and circumstances in our life simply because we no God makes no mistakes. We must be willing to say, God, I can not figure this out, in fact I will not even try to, I’m just going to trust You to give me a vision that will allow me to rest in your bosom.

As quoted in John 13:23 Now there was leaning on Jesus’ bosom one of His disciples, whom Jesus loved.” Oh what a connection, or filling we all should desire to john 13 - 23 one of his disciples, whom jesus lovedhave A passion to experiance. Resting in the bosom of Christ!! But Is this really possible in the 21st century. The age of high tech, Facebook, Twitter, got to have the latest right now society.

How do we give it all to the Master as we lay in his bosom and say I know God is going to accomplish what needs to be done and I don’t need to know when He will do it, or how. But my FAITH AND HIS WORD TELLS ME HE WILL, as I rest in the loving arms of Jesus. I know today my faith has been strengthened.

I also know I have grown in Christ this pass week because I now realize today, what I did not fully understand before when I got that initial phone call about my friends death, and that is, God will complete what he has started in each of us for in Phil 1:6 Paul tells us being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

So today. I now understand I never need to ask why again. Because my plans are to be in God’s pure and holy kingdom and I now know for sure, that I will see my friend there also.  Because I now know, that God knew, in bringing me into his life over 20 year’s ago , that Christ would complete what He had started in my friends life, seventy three years ago.

Today I fill my faith has been stretched to the limit, but I’m fine with that because I never want it to be stagnant, or Luke warm. If our focused just revolved around the timing this journey God has each of us own, we would probably get discourage. But we must accept God’s plan for us as we rest in his presence as our Character is being shaped for Eternity.

bible-god-quotes-53And then and only then can we experience total peace and happiness. We search for answers daily but solutions can only come from God’s Word and His presence in our lives, So now we do go to His word and ask the question Why? did God lead the Israelites the longer, and harder way on their journey to the Promised Land.

Why didn’t he just speak and it happen, why such a hard journey, why the red sea, why the wilderness. why so long to prepare his chosen for what was already promised them. And why did my friend go through so much pain and suffering, and why did he have such a hard journey, only to end up where Christ was always leading Him. In the comfort of His bosom.

and then we go to Proverbs 16:9 for the answer, and for all of our answers to each trial and disapointments in our life where it tells us, A man’s mind plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps and makes them sure.” Proverbs 20:24 also says,Man’s steps are ordered by the Lord. How then can a man understand his way?

My friends please today, allow God to lead you, it may never make sense but please lay in his bosom and rest in His love, for faith does not make things easy, it only makes things possible. and then “Trust in the Lord with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding or knowledge. In all your ways please, acknowledge Him Because.

OUR GOD IS YAHWEH The Creator of everything, so please rest in His Bosom, also OUR GOD IS AN AGAPE GOD For His Love is Selfless, Sacrificial and Unconditional if we are resting in the comfort of His bosom. So if you will just hold on, and continue to rest in His Bosom He imageswill make your paths straight and complete.

Today I can say God allowed me just a ordinary man to bear His fruit. I became the branch which holds the fruit which Christ produced. The branch nor I can bear fruit of itself; it only bears fruit because it is connected to the vine, who is Christ our only Hope for salvation.

I could only bear this fruit because Christ allowed me to be that connection, because he loved my friend  like he loves all of us for in 2 Peter 3:9 it tells us The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with each of us, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

Now today my friends. We all must learn to REST IN THE BOSOM OF CHRIST while allowing the world to say as they look at each of us, and say to themselves I have truly seen Christ today.

A SONG COMES TO MY MIND, AND I HOPE EACH OF YOU WILL REPEAT THE WORDS DAILY,

AS YOU REST IN THE BOSOM OF CHRIST UNTIL THE DAY OF HIS APPEARING, AND THEN HE WILL TAKE US HOME TO LIVE WITH HIM.

THROUGHOUT THE CEESLESS AGES OF ETERNITY

“If not you, I wonder where will they ever find the One who really cares? If not you, how will they find the One who heals the broken heart, gives sight to the blind? Cause You’re the only Jesus some will ever see You’re the only words of life, some will ever read So let them see in you the One in whom is all they’ll ever need. You’re the only Jesus, some will ever see If not you, I wonder who, will show them love, and love alone can make things new? If not you, how will they learn there’s one who’ll trade their hopelessness for joy in return? So let Him shine, let Him show Let them see the One in you, let this whole world know You’re the only Jesus some will ever see You’re the only words of life, some will ever read So let them see in you the One in whom is all they’ll ever need

So friends stay focused, remain faithful, love one another and endure till the end and never forget to STUDY&PRAY As you rest in the Bosom of Christ
