THE MEANING IS? AT THE CROSS, AT THE CROSS, AT THE CROSS!!!

For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit, 1 Peter 3:18 (NKJV)

God demonstrates his own love for us in this: WHILE WE WERE STILL SINNERS, CHRIST DIED FOR US.”Romans 5:8 (NIV) My friends how do our finite minds define such a feeling, a feeling that transcends from a God of grace and mercy who looked beyond the CROSS to May 16, 2014 and saw in spite of Calvary and the price that was paid for mankind that sin would abound and man would disregard what was done on there behalf as a meaningless and insufficient act.

So How do we truly understand such a degree of love. As a child of God, my conclusion is, it cannot be defined in words and since it is beyond any definition, then only the ACT itself can we consider for any human explanation, a explanation that goes far beyond some enclosed boundary that has limits. Simply put AT THE CROSS is the only thing that can take us to some semblance or level of where I am trying to take you today.

AT THE CROSS is where it starts and where it will all end. AT THE CROSS is where self-dies and Christ lives in us. AT THE CROSS is where we receive the mind of Christ as we become a candidate for life eternal. AT THE CROSS is where our life can be measured by the sacrifice of a risen Savior. AT THE CROSS is where we can take our feelings to the level of anything we could ever imagine about God’s grace, mercy, forgiveness, creation, life, death, Salvation, and His Word and Spirit and make since of it all.

In consistent with that, AT THE CROSS is the only place where we can ever feel what we call love and try to reciprocate that same feeling to others of what God has and is still doing for us. AT THE CROSS also refines, restores and replaces what the world deems as LOVE, to the awesome power of FAITH, ENDURANCE, AND THE PASSION OF WHAT DEFINES AT THE CROSS.

So with that PASSION in us we can now walk like Christ, talk like Christ, treat others differently, as we use Christ as our example and Each Day of our life is now spent with The one who now lives in us as we no longer conform to the world’s definition of LOVE  But only Christ definition which is AT THE CROSS.

So friends love is simply defined as Jesus Christ and Him crucified who lives in His Children today, tomorrow, and soon to be, throughout the ceaseless ages of Eternity. I know that all sounds complicated but it is only complicated if you continue to tell yourself or allow the god of this world to tell you that he has a better way. But his way is only better if he suffered and died AT THE CROSS for my sins and now sits at the right hand of “our Father which art in heaven.”

Also his way is only better if  He continues to advocate on our behalf, to the Father for our Salvation. My friends we don’t have time to hesitate on our decision to make the name of Christ and the cross the only pathway to Salvation for “none other is there salvation: for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved. Acts 4:12 (ASV) and “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me” Mark 8:34 (NIV)

Christ tells us Himself  “behold, I COME QUICKLY; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. Rev. 22:12 (NIV) So friends today focus on the words I COME QUICK-LY MEANING WITH SPEED; RAPIDLY; VERY SOON. “Therefore be on the alert, for you do not know which day your Lord is coming. But be sure of this, that if the head of the house had known at what time of the night the thief was coming, he would have been on the alert and would not have allowed his house to be broken into.” Matt. 24:42-43 (ASV)

“LORD, WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO”? THE GPS READS REROUTE!!

“Then Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest and asked letters from him to the synagogues of Damascus, so that if he found any who were of the Way, whether men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem..” Acts 9:1-2 (NKJV)

We are driving along, all of a sudden we make a wrong turn and our GPS READ’S REROUTING which at that point tells us that we are moving in the wrong direction. Now let’s see how that concept will work in regards to our commitment to Christ and the direction we are headed and does it need to be REROUTED because we have begun to move in a direction opposite from where Christ is leading.

Let’s now follow Paul on the Damascus road. “As he journeyed he came near Damascus, and suddenly a light shone around him from heaven. Then he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?” And he said, “Who are You, Lord?”

Then the Lord said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. It is hard for you to kick against the goads.” So he, trembling and astonished, said, “LORD, WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO?” Then the Lord said to him, “Arise and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.” Acts 9:3-6 (NKJV)

Where I need you to focus at today is in making God your GPS as you allow him to REROUTE your life as He did Paul and like Paul, as you look above at the Master, ask. “LORD, WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO?” My friends As we move closer to Christ return, God is looking for DEDICATED SOLDIERS as we enter the threshold of the PROMISE LAND.

Soldiers who are willing to be REROUTED in the direction that will lead not only themselves but a world towards Gods kingdom for God is looking for “men, and women who will not be bought or sold; men and women who in their inmost souls are true and honest; who do not fear to call sin by its right name;…..and who will stand for the right though the heavens fall.” (E. G. White, Education, p. 57)

Consistent with this, Soldiers who will keep their focus centered on the concepts and precepts of God’s word and Spirit. An observation is made of the frigid waters around Greenland where there are countless icebergs, some little and some gigantic.

If you observe them carefully, you would notice that sometimes the small ice floes move in one direction while their massive counterparts flow in another. The explanation is simple. Surface winds drive the little ones, whereas the huge masses of ice are carried along by deep ocean currents.

When God begins to REROUTE our lives, it’s helpful to see our lives as being subject to two forces–surface winds and ocean currents. The winds represent everything changeable, unpredictable, and distressing that the god of this world places before us.

But operating simultaneously with these gusts and gales of this world is another force that’s even more powerful. It is the sure movement of God’s wise and sovereign purpose and the deep flow of His unchanging love as He REROUTES his Children on a course toward Eternity as He prepares our lives to become “safe to save” for His pure and holy kingdom.

But in our REROUTING our Savior starts at  Calvary, and places a cross on our shoulders as He takes us through the
trials and tribulation of bearing the cross for Christ, He then places us in His loving arms, and guides and protects each of us as we begin to move in the right direction as we begin to make the right decision about our Salvation.

In addition, the main change in this new direction that we are headed is that we now give it all to the Master, we hold nothing back and soon we will see him face to face as He tells all of His Children “Well done, good and faithful servants! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness! in my pure and holy kingdom.

MY FRIENDS, WHO WILL YOU CHOSE TO BRING YOU VICTORY?

I often find myself these days having to sacrifice something that seems at the time important in my life, for the glory and honor of the one who gave it all up for my Salvation. But, if you are a child of God your passion has to be that nothing matters if it is not about what God wants because my God is “a jealous God” He wants all of our attention, He wants all of our time, money, mind and body.

In other words, every decision you make in life should first be centered and focused on our LOVE, HONOR, RESPECT, WISDOM, KNOWLEDGE AND RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD. God started His precepts off by saying in Ex. 20:2 (ESV) “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.” and like Israel we were also slaves but not too Pharaoh and the Egyptian forces but to the god of this world and the forces of evil.

So God reminded Israel and He reminds His chosen generation of a Father’s love “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 (KJV) So First We are his because he created us. And second we are His because Calvary freed us from the forces of evil, IF WE CHOSE TO BE FREE.

In addition my God lead Israel and He is also leading us to make the right decision in this “Great Controversy” between good and evil also God sees our relationship with Him much like a marriage relationship which states “FORSAKING ALL OTHERS” for there can be only one God, and that is the God who is revealed to us through creation and a God who expects a committed relationship with him through His word and Spirit.

So where does your LOVE AND COMMITMENT LIE? Where is your focus when your mind takes a break from the complexities of your life? Like a compass that always points north, will your focus and love always point to Christ? What is important to you? Where do you spend your time? What and who are you living for each day?

These are questions my friends God is asking IF WE ARE LISTENING. Paul tells everyone whose focus is on the things of this earth. “Their end is destruction, their god is their belly, and they glory in their shame, with minds set on earthly things.” Phil. 3:19 (NKJV) Colossians 3:1-4 (ESV) also tells us “If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.”

So remember “Temporal things are not to engage our whole attention, or engross our minds until our thoughts are entirely of the earth and the earthly. We are to train, discipline, and educate the mind so that we may think in a heavenly channel, that we may dwell on things unseen and eternal, which will be discerned by spiritual vision. It is by seeing Him who is invisible that we may obtain strength of mind and vigor of spirit. (E. G. White The Signs of the Times, January 9, 1893)

I remember as a Kid when we would chose teams for my favorite sport at the time football, you would always chose the friends who you knew would help bring a victory to your side. Today the game continues being played on the world stage, the only difference is there is only two choices for team selection. The god of this world or the God who “created heaven and earth.” Remember in every situation Satan has lost when the opposing team has been lead by the son of God.

So choosing Christ who knows something about victory and winning is a no brainer so ask your-self, why would I chose someone who I know will lead me to perdition over CHRIST, VICTORY, and LIFE ETERNAL. But my friends your choice your decision.

THE GREAT CONTROVERSY ENDS, WILL YOU BE ON THE WRONG SIDE OF PROPHECY?

My friends as I look at the world we live in today I can compare the abomination of sin that has transpired against God for the last 6000 years to the domino theory as I place that theory in the context of sin which says that one particular sin will precipitate similar sins in progression one after another and once it starts if we are not allowing the power of God’s Spirit to take full control then sin increases with no check and balance because Satan will take each sin in our life farther and deeper than we could ever imagine.

So where I need you to focus at today is, let’s make it personal to our Salvation as we look at our own lives and the sin theory and what will precipitate next if you have not invited Christ to take full control but have allowed the god of this world to dictate what is acceptable in his sight not God’s.

So ask yourself how far, because one day there will be an end to all sin just like the domino theory it can’t go on forever. One day sin will be eradicated and God will “come quickly: (and) blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the PROPHECY of this book……… He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Blessed are they that do his commandments that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.” Rev 22:7-14 (KJV)

So when this CONTROVERSY ENDS, WILL YOU BE ON THE RIGHT OR WRONG SIDE OF PROPHECY? “blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the PROPHECY of GOD’S WORD” or do you continue to tell yourself I’ve got time as you convince yourself my way is the right way.

My friends There will be no one standing at the THRESHOLD of THE END OF PROPHECY, legal pad in hand, giving out grades to enter God’s pure and holy kingdom? With the assurance as long as your grade level is above a C you can enter.

Only they “which have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.” Revelation 7:14(NIV) and If any man would come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever would save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s shall save it.” Mark 8:34-35 (ASV)

“And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God’s sake, Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.” Luke 18:29-30 (KJV)

As I read these text there is a criteria for being on the RIGHT SIDE OF PROPHECY and there is only one grade and that grade is the blood of Jesus Christ that completely cleanses us of all sin in our life. So where do you stand today God is Calling, your faith is being tested and that faith will produce PERSEVERANCE.

So let PERSEVERANCE finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not LACKING ANYTHING.” James 1:3-4 (NIV) Once again MY FRIENDS “When you reach that FINAL SUNSET and you look into HIS EYES, will the tears you shed be tears of joy or would they be your last goodbye.” It will be a tragedy to get to that day that you waited for all your life, and realize that all you had accumulated and accomplished on this earth “COULD NOT COMPARE TO ETERNAL LIFE” THAT YOU HAVE NOW LOST BECAUSE YOU WERE ON THE WRONG SIDE OF PROPHECY?

MY FRIENDS, HOW GROWN ARE YOU IN GOD’S SIGHT?

Brothers, do not be children in your thinking. Be infants in evil, but in your thinking be mature.  1 Corinthians 14:20 (KJV)

Self dying, and life beginning in Christ, is to escalate Christ in your life above everything else. He must be the focal point as our eyes are forever “looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross….” Hebrews 12:2 (NKJV) for our Salvation.

So as we escalate Christ, self-diminishes as we begin to recognize it is not about us. My friends this controversy did not begin at our birth. It started over 6000 years ago in the courts of God’s pure and Holy kingdom when Satan decided “in his heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God”

In addition one third of the heavenly host followed his lead and so the controversy begun to where we are today where man “call’s evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter. Is. 5:20 (NIV)

But as a child of God like Moses “WHEN HE WAS GROWN UP, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter; choosing rather to share ill treatment with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; accounting the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures of Egypt: for he looked unto the recompense of reward.” Hebrews 11:24-26 (ASV)

My friends that is where I need you to focus today in the words “WHEN HE WAS GROWN UP” because if you are at the age in your life where you can distinguish between right and wrong then you are “GROWN” in the sight of God for He tells us.

“When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, (or woman) I put away childish things. 1 Cor. 13:11 (KJV) Or have we allowed the god of this world to continues to keep our focus of the childish games of this world that keeps our attention centered on the allurement of this world like a child that witnesses Christmas for the first time with all the pretty wrapped gifts and beautiful colors.

“There is a stage in a child’s life at which it cannot separate the religious from the merely festal character of Christmas or Easter. But of course the time will eventually comes when most children become able to distinguish the spiritual from the ritual and festal aspect of all holidays.”

But what about a child of God what is the cut of point when sin and all of our so called “Socially Acceptable Sins” are no longer tolerated in our life because we have outgrown even the thought of bringing any reproach before God as we die to self daily while completely given it all to our Savior, as we subject our small and insignificant Minds and desires to the greater goal of honoring Christ who gave it all for us on Calvary.

In addition to telling others of the good news of Christ soon return, as we approach the end of this great controversy. Paul tells us in Galatians 2:20 (NKJV) I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”

It’s amazing we constantly tell our sons and daughters, will you PLEASE GROW UP and act like a man or woman I am tired of telling you the same thing over and over. So now my friends place God in your position as the parent, we are his children, now imagine his disappointment when we refuse to GROW UP in mind and body and lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, (while not willing to)  run with patience the race (that our Savior has) set before us. Heb. 12:1 (KJV) SO FRIENDS PLEASE GROW UP AND GIVE IT ALL TO CHRIST.

GOD’S LOVE THE CLOSEST EXAMPLE; SIMPLY PUT, A MOTHER!!

After all the poems, songs, truism, and stories of endurance faith hope and love. I can say without any reservation that the CLOSEST EXAMPLE OF GOD’S LOVE, SIMPLY PUT, A MOTHER. My friends a MOTHER exemplifies what and who God is.

In addition you can define a MOTHER and her love in three words “SELFLESS, SACRIFICIAL, AND UNCONDITIONAL.” As a Child of God I can say this because when I meditate on the goodness and love of God I become speechless at the thought of what and how the plan for my life has been played out for my Salvation in the mind and heart of God and my MOTHER.

So today I can make it personal and I can make it all about me because my God is a personal God and my MOTHER was a personal MOTHER and as you look at your MOTHER or GRANDMOTHER or AUNT or SISTER or whoever represents a MOTHER to you in your life and like I, I hope you can open your mouth in awe of the Omnipresence of a mother who is always there.

The Omniscience of a mother who is always knowing, and friends I can go as far as to say the Omnipotence of a MOTHER because I believe their is nothing most MOTHERS cannot and will not do for their child and one of the greatest attributes of a MOTHER’S love in addition is it’s unchangeable, no matter what situation or circumstances a child goes through in life a mother’s love for that child never changes.

Listen at what E. G. White says about the love of God for his children and compare the same  words to what your MOTHER means to you. “True love is not merely a sentiment or an emotion. It is a living principle, a principle that is manifest in action.

True love, wherever it exists, will control the life. Thus it is with the love of God (A Mother). and in all His (Her) works, in all His (Her) dealings with mankind (there child), His (Her) character is revealed.” (Published in The Union Conference Record, June 1, 1900)

“Years ago, a young mother was making her way across the hills of South Wales, carrying her tiny baby in her arms, when she was overtaken by a blinding blizzard. She never reached her destination and when the blizzard had subsided her body was found by searchers beneath a mound of snow.

But they discovered that before her death, she had taken off all her outer clothing and wrapped it about her baby. When they unwrapped the child, to their great surprise and joy, they found he was alive and well. She had mounded her body over his and given her life for her child, proving the depths of a MOTHER’S love.

Years later that child, David Lloyd George, grown to manhood, became prime minister of Great Britain, and, without doubt, one of England’s greatest statesman. (James S. Hewett, Illustrations Unlimited, Tyndale, 1972, p. 375.)

That story my friends says it all about a MOTHER’S LOVE? “For her worth is far above rubies. The heart of her (CHILD) safely trusts her; so (THEY) will have no lack of gain. She does (THEM) good and not evil All the days of her life. She seeks wool and flax and willingly works with her hands. She is like the merchant ships, she brings her food from afar.

She also rises while it is yet night, and provides food for her household,…….. She opens her mouth with wisdom, and on her tongue is the law of kindness. She watches over the ways of her household, and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children rise up and call her blessed. Prov. 31:10-30 (NKJV)

My friends it now becomes personal again because when I enter one of the twelve gates in God’s kingdom that’s made of a substance like pearl from God’s hand and I walk down those streets of pure gold that is like transparent glass, as I walk with all of my love one’s, I will notice my loving Savior reaching over wiping away my mother’s tears from her eyes as angels listen in, he tells my MOMMA no more tears my child, we made the perfect team. He’s here, he’s here!!! HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO ALL MY SPECIAL MOTHERS I LOVE YOU SIMPLY BECAUSE YOU ARE A MOTHER.

THE GLORIOUS AND THE “FATAL ATTRACTION OF SIN”

For sin, seizing the opportunity and getting a hold on me [by taking its incentive] from the commandment, beguiled and entrapped and cheated me, and using it [as a weapon], killed me.” Romans 7:11(AMP)

THE GLORIOUS AND “FATAL ATTRACTION OF SIN” that causes us to linger until Satan is successful in leading us completely away from the loving arms of Christ as he places us on the road to perdition. “But every person is tempted when he is drawn away, enticed and baited by his own evil desire (lust, passions). Then the evil desire, when it has conceived, gives birth to sin, and sin, when it is fully matured, brings forth death.” James 1:14-15 (AMP)

The grace and mercy of God has limitation that He set’s. If your desire is to remain in the clutches of the abomination of sin, our Savior will not overpower you. He will not take away your freewill or force you to come HOME.

This must be  our choice, and the passion that we must seek for our Salvation, for there must be a willingness on our part, either Life through Christ, or destruction by allowing the things of this world and the forces of evil to control your life.

But our God will also never “leave you or forsake you” like peter when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out,” “LORD SAVE ME!” INSTANTLY Jesus reached out His hand and caught and held him.” Matt. 14:30-31 (NIV)

My friends that is where I need you to focus today on the word “INSTANTLY” not like most of us when we have a chance to serve God we begin to make excuses, well can you wait a few days God, I have another pressing matter to take care of but it want be long, I will get back with you in a few days.

Our God is a INSTANT God “….not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9 (NIV) and receive life eternal “Several years ago Dr. George Sweeting and his family visited Niagara Falls. It was spring, and ice was rushing down the river.

As I viewed the large blocks of ice flowing toward the falls, I could see that there were carcasses of dead fish embedded in the ice. Gulls by the score were riding down the river feeding on the fish. As they came to the brink of the falls, their wings would go out, and they would escape from the falls.

I watched one gull which seemed to delay and wondered when it would leave. It was engrossed in the carcass of a fish, and when it finally came to the brink of the falls, out went its powerful wings. The bird flapped and flapped and even lifted the ice out of the water, and I thought it would escape.

But it had delayed too long so that its claws had frozen into the ice. The weight of the ice was too great, and the gull plunged into the abyss. Oh, the danger of delay!” (Dr. George Sweeting) My friends the “cost of becoming too attracted to this world” and the inducement of sin that the god of this world has placed before a child of God as he tells us “Ye shall not surely die:

“For (even) God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as God,…” Gen 3:4-5 (ASV) But according to God’s word it tells us that “the wages of sin is death; but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23 (ASV)

For some it will probably take an all night encounter with God like Jacob who wrestled with God all night before you can completely free yourself from the desires of this world, so don’t let “the weight become too great, and you plunged into the abyss”

God’s hand is a long hand, it can reach as far as needed to rescue a lost sheep. Remember Only after Jacob wrestles with God all night was he ready to complete his journey home and to Bethel, the place where he  first encountered God. Not long my friends so FOCUS on the finish line and ENDURE until you cross it for Christ waits.

MY FRIENDS WE ARE LIVING IN “THE LAST DAYS”

Boko Haram “Western education is a sin.” Armed group claims responsibility for kidnapping 276 girls in Nigeria and threatens to “sell them in the marketplace.” Evan as a child of God we have become immune to the abominations of the world we live in.

But today I need you to focus on the sobering reality of  seven words that we need to repeat each day and they are, WE ARE LIVING IN “THE LAST DAYS.” At one time in my life I think I could have said with some assurance, Peace will come because “God has laid His hands on the situation and now the storm has moved away.”

But today my friends as I move from headline to headline I can see our God has begun to separate the “wheat from the tares” for “perilous times (has) come. Men (are now) lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, high minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: 2 Tim 3:1-6 (KJV)

To continue I believe it’s safe to say without any reservation WE ARE LIVING IN “THE LAST DAYS.” Throughout God’s word since the fall of man God has pointed to the end of this controversy between one class who studies the Savior’s life as they seek His presence and allow the Spirit’s transforming power to change there Character to be like the character of Christ.

And the wicked who has “allowed iniquity to abound”, and their “love to wax cold.” But our God gives His faithful a promise  that if you shall endure unto the end, you will be saved.” Matt. 24:12-13 (NKJV) This warning is not sobering for those who seek the coming of Christ for the second time because prophecy ending and God’s kingdom is closer than ever before and I hope you seek that day as I do.

Also never before has there been a time as now where getting the good news to a dying world is more urgent. The controversy that begin in heaven when Satan “said in his heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God;

and I will sit upon the mount of congregation, in the uttermost parts of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High. Is. 14:13-14 (ASV) to the fall of mankind, to “such a time as this” that the bible calls “THE LAST DAYS” are now at the threshold.

God’s tolerance and cup is full over evil and soon all mankind good and bad will recognize that Gods way has always been the right way from the beginning. God’s  prophecy also tells us that Babylon will fall.

Its  forces of evil will fall, the powerful economic systems that have degraded the poor will fall, the strongly entrenched and popular religions, who did not follow God’s precepts in His word will fall, the extremists who have influenced the masses against their Creator and His people will fall.

Paul says In 2 Corinthians 4:3-4 (NKJV) “But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.”

God had a plan and that plan was Calvary “Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might break the power of him who holds the power of death that is, the devil” Heb. 2:14 (NKJV)

Oh what hope in that promise. His death for My life. The battle to resist the god of this world is being fought daily in our hearts and minds. God’s command my friends is to have faith and endure as you come out of Babylon and that departure from Babylon tells me I will live throughout Eternity in the presence of my Savior. So today please give it all to the Master BECAUSE WE ARE LIVING IN “THE LAST DAYS”

“HOW LONG WILL YOU FALTER BETWEEN TWO OPINIONS?

“And it came to pass, when midday was past, and they prophesied until the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that there was neither voice, nor any to answer, nor any that regarded.” 1 King 18:29

My friends I need you to read 1 kings 16,17,18 and FOCUS on the main players in this Story in God’s WORD. And they are; Elijah, King Ahab, Jezebel, Baal and Jehovah. The bible also tells us “Ahab did more to provoke the Lord God of Israel to anger than all the kings of Israel who were before him.” 1 king 16:33 (NKJV)

His wife is Jezebel a heathen and a worshiper of Baal. So now through the influence of Satan Baal is introduced as the god of choice to Israel instead of the I AM OF THE UNIVERSE. Now “Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months.” James 5:17 (KJV)

Oh my friends the power of prayer and let’s never forget we have access to this same power through God’s Spirit. But such a drastic punishment for God’s chosen. Sometimes God has to use drastic measures so that His Children can focus on Him and find our way back home.

Oh but how far our God will reach to save us. The showdown is “Mount Carmel a symbol of beauty and fertility. To be given the “splendor of Carmel” was to be blessed indeed. Is. 35:2 (NKJV) Today God  will show Israel through Elijah that He is the only true God.

As the 400 prophets of Baal were embarrassed and destroyed all in one day. “Now when all the people saw God’s awesome power, they fell on their faces; and they said, “The Lord, He is God! The Lord, He is God!” 1 kings 18:39 (NKJV)

My friends where I need you to FOCUS on today is, when the Holy Spirit transforms your life into the image of God can your friends, family, love ones, co-workers, neighbor’s, and the world recognize a sharp contrast between you and the world.

Are the fruit Of God’s Spirit firmly embedded into your life, which are the fruits of LOVE, JOY, PEACE, PATIENCE, KINDNESS, GOODNESS,FAITHFULNESS, GENTLENESS,AND SELF CONTROL. “ Do you Exhibit more KINDNESS and FAITHFULNESS then the MORMONS? More SELF CONTROL then your MUSLIM friends? More PEACE than the BUDDHISTS? And more JOY then the ATHEISTS?

Remember we worship the ONLY TRUE GOD. So where do we stand as a Child of God when the world see’s us. Do they marvel at the vast difference and say “YOUR LORD, HE IS GOD” or do we blend in with our surroundings.

But when everyone around you can see Christ in all you do, then you will know that self has died and only Christ and His Spirit lives in you. Remember often times our Journey takes us into many valleys along the way. God’s blessings and the fact that we still praise God in spite of our everyday challenges, let’s each of us know that our life is now all about God.

And one day his faithful will be rewarded for our ENDURANCE and FAITH for no “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” 1 Cor 2:9

So my friends today look back over your life and see where God has brought you from in each situation and circumstances. And like Elijah whose heartfelt prayers and supplication brought fire from heaven our continued faith in God’s promises each day and His response to us through His Spirit is our fire from heaven experience.

So today ask yourself “HOW LONG WILL YOU FALTER BETWEEN TWO OPINIONS?” we have many Baals we worship each day. But today my friends just stop and let God and His Spirit take full Control and “lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.”
