CAN WE MAKE THE ENEMY’S STRONGHOLD OBSOLETE?

“For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy STRONGHOLDS. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ” 2Cor. 10:3-5 (KJV)

As a Child of God our top priority must be to remove Satan’s “STRONGHOLD” because this is the fortress that the god of this world occupies within our lives which gives us the propensity towards evil.

Remember there is a Warfare going on and a “STRONGHOLD” set up where Satan and the forces of evil occupy in our lives and if we allow them to remain our lives would be void of any victory through Jesus Christ and His Spirit.

In addition the longer that stronghold remains the less will be our chance on life eternal in the earth made new. But my friends its all about the battle scares you are willing to obtain to completely destroy Satan’s “STRONGHOLD” Paul uses the word “STRONGHOLD” to define the spiritual fortresses wherein Satan has set up from within.

A restricted and designated area where his forces hide. These fortresses exist in our mind and bodies they are the ideas that govern each individual’s way of thinking. So before victory can be claimed, these strongholds where “the rulers, and authorities, and powers of the dark world, spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” Eph. 6:12 (NIV) must be eliminated and replaced with a whole new way of think that is only centered on Christ.

But it’s our choice, our decision and how SERIOUS we are about our SALVATION and allowing the mighty weapons of God Word and Spirit to take full control. James tells us to “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” James 4:7 (KJV)

“Nothing that is valuable is achieved without effort. Fritz Kreisler, the famous violinist, testified to this point when he said, “Narrow is the road that leads to the life of a violinist. Hour after hour, day after day and week after week, for years, I lived with my violin.

There were so many things that I wanted to do that I had to leave undone; there were so many places I wanted to go that I had to miss if I was to master the violin. The road that I traveled was a narrow road and the way was hard.” (Guideposts)

The same my friends must be said about the life of God’s chosen vessel at this point in our life and the closer we get to Christ second coming. Seeking Salvation, must be a total commitment because  there are going to be things of this world we are just not going to be able to accomplish if it is not all about Christ.

Some things we want be able to buy and places we want be able to get to because it will take resources and time away from God. Today God is seeking soldiers that are willing to give it all up for their Salvation and too serve Him.

Often the STRONGHOLD of Satan centers around our mind and what we are willing to give up for Christ. “Jesus said, Truly I tell you, there is no one who has given up and left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or lands for My sake and for the Gospel’s.

Who will not receive a hundred times as much now in this time houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions and in the age to come, eternal life.” Mark 10:29-30 (AMP)

The battle to conquer Satan’s “STRONGHOLD”  is fought daily in our hearts and minds, but in Eph. 6:11 (NIV) it tells us to ” Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.”

So Destroying Satan’s STRONGHOLD we will need “the shield of FAITH, the SWORD of the SPIRIT, which is the WORD of GOD. PRAYING without CEASING, and ENDURANCE TO FINISH THE COURSE.” But friends God will not make our Choices for us. We must believe in His promises, as we ask ourselves HOW BAD DO YOU WANT LIFE ETERNAL.

MY FRIENDS HOW BAD DO YOU NEED THE CROSS AND SALVATION?

“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” Gal 2:20 (ESV)

My friends how bad do you need the CROSS and SALVATION? As you ponder the question today let me first tell you there is no either, or, you cannot have one without the other because seeking the CROSS of Christ and CARRYING it, is a prerequisite for SALVATION

“Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.” Matt. 16:24 (NKJV) There’s a story about a proud young man who comes to a Prophet and asked “O great prophet, I come to you for “THE CROSS AND SALVATION.”

The Prophet recognized someone who did not have a clue what it meant to CARRY THE CROSS OF CHRIST so he led the young man to the sea, and chest deep into water. Then he asked, “What do you want?” “THE CROSS AND SALVATION O wise Prophet.”

The Prophet put his strong hands on the man’s shoulders and pushed him under. Thirty seconds later the Prophet let him up. “What do you want?” he asked again. “SALVATION” the young man sputtered,” “The Prophet crunched him under again.

Thirty seconds passed, thirty-five. Forty. The Prophet let him up. The man was gasping. “What do you want, young man?” Between heavy, heaving breaths the fellow wheezed, “THE CROSS, O wise and wonderful Prophet.” The Prophet jammed him under again Forty seconds passed. Fifty. “What do you want?”

“Air!” the young man screeched. “I need air!” “When you want THE CROSS AND SALVATION as you have just wanted air, then you will have it.” My friends HOW BAD DO YOU SEEK THE CROSS AND SALVATION? Do you want it as bad as the air you breathe?

Well as a Child of God I have decided that is just how Bad I will seek it because if you live long enough, you have been pushed under water so deep and held for so long, at this point in time you are gasping for air “between heavy, heaving breaths of death all around, trials, Tribulation, heartache, pain, misery, and financial problems.

In addition the only place we are able to find SALVATION from drowning  is in the loving arms of our Savior Jesus Christ. “The cells in our bodies require a continual supply of oxygen to survive. The air we breathe provides this oxygen to our lungs to replenish the oxygen our blood circulation needs to flow properly.

So it is with a Child of God who seeks SALVATION. We all need a continual supply of our Savior Jesus Christ for our Christian experience to function properly because with Christ comes LOVE, REPENTANCE, FORGIVENESS, GRACE, MERCY, HOPE, FAITH, HIS WORD, PATIENCE, HUMILITY ENDURANCE, and finally the SPIRIT OF GOD to maintain each of those attribute that gives us proper living conditions.

Paul tells us in Ephesians 3:17-19 (NKJV) So that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Paul also tells us in Romans 5:3-5 (NKJV) More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

“Friends we do serve a risen Savior because He Lives in our life today and we only live because He lives in each of us no matter what men may say and we know He lives inside of us , because we see His hand of mercy grace and love as we begin to truly LIVE, and feel God and His Word, while allowing our faith to grow in His grace daily” AS WE SEEK THE CROSS AND SALVATION.

MY FRIENDS IT IS TIME WE BEGIN TO “PRAY WITHOUT CEASING”

My pray today is that each Adopted child of the king will “PRAY WITHOUT CEASING” as we search the Scriptures  “for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. John 5:39 (NKJV)

As God’s chosen Generation in the last days of this life’s history it is our responsibility to “PRAY WITHOUT CEASING” 1 Thess. 5:17 (NKJV) as we seek God’s Spirit daily. Paul says in 1 Corinthians 2:11 (ESV) ” For who knows a person’s thoughts except the spirit of that person, which is in him? So also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God?”

That my friends is where I need you to focus today “For who knows a person’s thoughts except the spirit of that person.” Which tells me we must “PRAY WITHOUT CEASING” to receive God’s Spirit as we give it all to the Master.

In addition we begin to recognize how unworthy we are because of the sins we allow to lay dormant within us. “In his book Why Prayers are Unanswered, John Lavender retells a story about Norman Vincent Peale.

When Peale was a boy, he found a big, black cigar, slipped into an alley, and lit up. It didn’t taste good, but it made him feel very grown up. . . until he saw his father coming. Quickly he put the cigar behind his back and tried to be casual.

Desperate to divert his father’s attention, Norman pointed to a billboard advertising the circus. “Can I go, Dad? Please, let’s go when it comes to town.” His father’s reply taught Norman a lesson he never forgot. “Son, he answered quietly but firmly, “never make a petition while at the same time trying to hide a smoldering disobedience.”

My friends we know to well the difference between right and wrong. Do we think somehow God does not know as his angels records each sin to be placed before each of us one day. “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.” 2 Cor. 5:10 (NIV)

As Children of God we cannot lose sight of  the fact that FAITH, PRAYER, REPENTANCE, FORGIVENESS, GOD’S WORD AND SALVATION can not be Separated. We must pray that our focus will be centered on Jesus Christ and Him Crucified and not on the things of this world as “the love of many (continue) to wax cold and the world loses sight of Christ saving grace.

As Christians we must never  fall into Satan’s trap, while trying to convince ourselves, “Christ second coming has been delayed.” So we begin to PRAY AND STUDY less, while sinning more. Evan if it is only our favorite “SOCIALLY ACCEPTABLE SINS.” Those sins Satan has allow to become so blurred in our thought process that we begin not necessarily not knowing they are sins, but just ignoring the fact that they are still an abomination to God.

Case in point our constant watching of TV or the CONSTANT STEALING OF GOD”S TIME at the expense of our service and commitment to Christ and the STUDY OF HIS WORD Paul tells us in 2 Timothy 2:15 (NKJV) to “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Remember my Friends every Scripture in God’s word testifies about our Savior and what must be done to be saved, and receive Eternal life. Our daily Prayers must be.

“Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you today in our hour of need, to ask for Your forgiveness and to seek Your Grace, mercy, and guidance. We know in your Word it says, in Isaiah 5:20 “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;…” and as your Child we know we have lost sight of our “spiritual compass,” and have Focused our values, toward the values of the god of this world. But today we ask  for your forgiveness, and pray that once again our focus will be placed on our Savior and His will for us. And through your WORD AND SPIRIT Our eyes will forever remain on Thee as we “PRAY WITHOUT CEASING” and ENDURE THIS RACE to the FINISH LINE AMEN

“DO WITH HIM AS YOU PLEASE” BECAUSE THERE IS NO OTHER WAY!!

“DO WITH HIM AS YOU PLEASE,” “Six of the most spine chilling words ever spoken. Torment him, disappoint him, afflict him, devastate him, and break him. “DO WITH HIM AS YOU PLEASE” Lie on him, dishonor him, persecute him, and handicap him. “DO WITH HIM AS YOU PLEASE.” Embarrass him, ridicule him, expose him and shame him. “DO WITH HIM AS YOU PLEASE. Sour his relationship, compromise his finances, ruin his reputation, and destroy his health. “DO WITH HIM AS YOU PLEASE.” In Case you did not get it, God is giving Satan His permission to do to us as he pleases in his diabolical quest to make us dishonor our God and accuse him falsely” (Fred Pullins) It is good to be able to quote from a good friend for once, thank you Fred.

As I continue I will try and make some sense out of God’s way of thinking because if He would allow such tragedy to befall his servant Job, as He BAITS Satan in Job 1:8 (NIV) “Have you considered my servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth”

What chance do we have over 2000 years later. But “Then I beheld all the work of God, that a man cannot find out the work that is done under the sun: because though a man labour to seek it out, yet he shall not find it; yea further; though a wise man think to know it, yet shall he not be able to find it. Ecc. 8:17 (KJV)

Friends, That text tells me trying to look at it from God’s point of view is futile. So I will ask myself the question how strong must a Child of God be in the 21^st century for God to have the confidence in them to say to Satan “DO WITH HIM OR HER AS YOU PLEASE.”

As I focus on the reality of it ever happening. It would be an honor for God to have such faith in me, I just don’t know if I’m there yet. But friends we must begin with genuine passion as we seek God’s presence to prepare us as we tell God.

PLEASE, LORD, what must I do to be saved, PLEASE don’t hold back because I know the alternative in not being prepared is perdition. So God whatever it takes PLEASE prepare me to be “Safe to Save.”

I’m also told it all starts with the power of your Spirit as we take up your cross. SO GOD PLEASE GIVE ME YOUR CROSS TO BEAR. If I am not ready PLEASE prepare me, a CHOSEN vessel, a faithful servant who you can tell the god of this world “DO WITH HIM OR HER AS YOU PLEASE” because there  faith is built on My Word And I know it “will not be shaken.”

But God I’m terrified at the thought, but I know THERE IS NO OTHER WAY no matter how I try to justify or excuse getting out of it by saying, I’m not ready, I have school to finish, I just started my career, my kids are still at home, what will my husband or wife or girlfriend or boyfriend think or I just bought a house and the list goes on.

But we must realize it all comes down to what God wants and how can we praise him in our sufferings as we carry his cross, because as a chosen vessel who has received a mandate directly from God that states “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses…..to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:8 (NKJV) There is no other way.

So close your eyes and decide now to give it all to the Master as we build a level of faith through His word that will be stretched to the limit as God prepares us “FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS Because we know there IS NO OTHER WAY.

In addition we also know you loved us so much that you even allowed Satan to “DO WITH YOUR ONLY BEGOTTEN SON AS HE PLEASED.” So that your adopted “SONS and DAUGHTERS may be saved. “So here I am Lord my life is in your hands, NOW “PREPARE ME TO BE YOUR INSTRUMENT,” “FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS.”

“JESUS CHRIST IS PRECIOUS, JESUS CHRIST IS PRECIOUS”!!!

PRECIOUS: meaning something of great value or highly esteemed or loved. My friends Severe changes are mounting in our life each day. We are gradually becoming emptied of our resources and  hopes. Our lives are changing from day to day, from SITUATION TO SITUATION, and CIRCUMSTANCES TO CIRCUMSTANCES.

But “Our God is a PRECIOUS God who we must have a PASSION to spend every moment in the presence of our PRECIOUS GOD before we  know without a doubt that He cares and our lives are safe when we give it all to Christ.

PASSION is defined as any powerful or compelling emotion or feeling and this power can only come from a PASSIONATE and PRECIOUS GOD whose word ” is alive and active.” in our lives “Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” Heb 4:12 (NKJV)

“John Newton captain of a slave ship was a rough, dirty sailor with a foul mouth and an appetite for rotten living. He hated life and life hated him.” “He sailed back to England in 1748 aboard the merchant ship Greyhound, during this voyage, he experienced a spiritual conversion.

The ship encountered a severe storm off the coast of Donegal and almost sank. Newton awoke in the middle of the night and finally called out to God as the ship filled with water.” And miraculously, before the ship sunk God saved him “It was this experience which he later marked as the beginnings of his conversion.”

He went on to become an evangelical lay minister, and writer who wrote the hymn “Amazing Grace! He also played a significant role in the movement to abolish the slave trade, the business he once made his living at. Old and Blind One Sunday, while delivering his message he repeated the sentence: ” JESUS CHRIST IS PRECIOUS.”

His helper whispered to him: “But you have already said that twice.” Newton turned to his helper and said loudly, “Yes, I’ve said it twice, and I’m going to say it (until it is the last breath I will ever say before I die) My friends our PASSION for CHRIST must, if nothing else in this world bring us to the realization that JESUS CHRIST IS PRECIOUS, JESUS CHRIST IS PRECIOUS.

I with no reservation what so ever understand how John Newton could composed such a song with PASSION as “Amazing grace, how sweet the sound That saved a wretch like me. I once was lost, but now I’m found. ‘Twas blind, but now I see.

‘Twas grace that taught my heart to fear and grace my fears relieved. How precious did that grace appear The hour I first believed.  Even When we’ve been there ten thousand years Bright shining as the sun, We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise Then when we first begun.

MY friends I love the part that says, even when we have been in God’s PRECIOUS PRESENCE “TEN THOUSAND YEARS” we will still be singing praises “JESUS CHRIST IS PRECIOUS, JESUS CHRIST IS PRECIOUS” for what He did for us on Calvary.  Quicksand is a gooey substance that blends in with its surroundings, and if you get caught in it, and you have no help to get you out, you are in trouble.

Everything you try to do by yourself only allows the sand to just keep dragging you underneath as you sink deeper and deeper, until you become completely submerged. The sinner who never grasped onto the PRECIOUS arms of Christ is usually lead into the sinking sand of sin.

Forced by Satan to go as far as possible until you are completely submerged because Sin will always take you farther than you ever thought you would go if your eyes are not focused on our PRECIOUS SAVIOR.

Remember our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was anointed by the Father to proclaim liberty to the captives of Satan to pull us to the shores of safety.  My friends if your soul is in danger and it continues to sink, look above to OUR PRECIOUS SAVIOR because He completely saves, as He lift’s us up by His PRECIOUS and LOVING arms.

“OUR GUIDING PRINCIPLES, ALL GROUND IS LEVEL BENEATH THE CROSS!!!”

In the pass week the country’s focus has been on the subject of discrimination. Next week it will probably shift to a sex scandal of a prominent politician or athletic. But the flavor for this week is the hate and stupidity of two men with no idea that God created everyone equal.

Friends the world is full of Mr. Bundy’s and Sterling’s. A story is told of “General Robert E. Lee a devout follower of Jesus Christ. It is said that soon after the end of the American Civil War, he visited a church in Washington, D.C. During the communion service he knelt beside a black man.

An onlooker said to him later,” “How could you do that?” kneel by a black man in the presence of God. Lee replied, “MY FRIEND, ALL GROUND IS LEVEL BENEATH THE CROSS.” If each of God’s Children could make those words their GUIDING PRINCIPLES or MISSION STATEMENT from within.

For “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” Gal 3:28 (ESV) In Heb.12:15 (NKJV) it tell us to “See to it that no one comes short of the grace of God; that no root of bitterness springing up causes trouble, and by it many be defiled.”

Hate and anger mentally allows Satan to take full control of our Heart and Mind as it eats away every good cell that God has instilled into us from above. The entire basis for DISCRIMINATION IS HATRED.

HATRED allows for the insane reasoning of a fellow Human to be separated from another Human simply because of their gender, color of there skin, or religious beliefs. “Like an unchecked cancer, hate corrodes the personality and eats away its vital unity” (and cohesiveness. Hate destroys the foundation of our Character and distorts our ability to think or function rationally as a Child of God who‘s only focus should be on the kingdom of God.)

“Hate destroys a man’s sense of values and his objectivity. It causes him to describe the beautiful as ugly, and the ugly as beautiful, and to confuse the true with the false and the false with the true.” (Martin Luther King, Jr.)

Hate has slowly lead the U.S. and the world to the point where Satan has been trying to get us to for 6000 years, and now today I can say with no reservation in saying it. Satan has succeeded in that Hatred in our world today is more prominent then the love of God.

But I can also say without a doubt that God is still in Control, and one day He will stand up and say IT IS FINISHED. As we look at the world today, and we near the closeness of Christ soon return, we must let the world know the good news of Christ soon return.

Consistent with this the world also needs to know “ALL GROUND IS LEVEL BENEATH THE CROSS” and that the Cancer of hate can go into remission with the power of Love, for Love can neutralize and destroy all Hate from within.

Paul tells us in 1Corinthians 13:4-8 (NIV) that “ Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily ANGERED, it keeps no record of wrongs.

Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails…… and it can never fail because God can never fail, and love is greatest gift from God to the world through His Son who died on Calvary to save man from the penalty of sin.”

My friends as Christ hung dying on the cross the blood he shed was for the sins of the black world, the white world, the brown world, the yellow world, and the red world. There was no discrimination at Calvary because BENEATH CHRIST FEET AS HIS BLOOD DRIPPED BENEATH HIM  “ALL GROUND WAS LEVEL.”

AS A CHOSEN VESSEL OF GOD, WHAT IS THE LEVEL OF YOUR ENDURANCE?

Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. James 1:2-4 (ESV)

“A television documentary pointed out that the cheetah survives on the African plains by running down its prey. The big cat can sprint seventy miles per hour. But the cheetah cannot SUSTAIN that pace for long.

Within its long, sleek body is a disproportionately SMALL HEART, which causes the cheetah to tire quickly. Unless the cheetah catches its prey in the first flurry, it must abandon the chase. But the Pronghorn Antelopes, on the other hand, can maintain speeds of 60 mph for miles at a time.

If the Cheetah and pronghorn were running side by side, and if the track was longer than a quarter of a mile, the pronghorn would win it, no contest,”  So the question you must ask yourselves today, AS A CHOSEN VESSEL OF GOD WHAT IS THE LEVEL OF YOUR ENDURANCE?

What is the staying power you have in finishing up our Saviors mandate? Will your HEART allow you to maintain the ENDURANCE to finish the race? Remember if Christ is our example, He finished His Fathers work here on earth and ENDURED until His Journey was completed on Calvary.

Once again how far are you willing to go for our Savior, how often are you willing to STUDY and PRAY as you seek the same power our Savior received that gave Him the ENDURANCE to carry the cross for our Salvation.

Joshua 1:8 (ESV) tells us “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” Joshua 1:8 (ESV)

My friends I need you to focus today, on the words “MEDITATE ON IT DAY AND NIGHT.” As we move closer to the second coming of Christ, our time must never be allocated for SELF, as a chosen vessel for Christ “we must crucify SELF as we live our life through Him who gave it all for us on Calvary.”

In Joshua 1:9 (ESV) He tells us “Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” “Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.” James 1:12-13 (ESV)

This is a MARATHON we are in not a SPRINT, we must be MENTALLY, PHYSICALLY and most of all SPIRITUALLY able to FINISH this JOURNEY, for there will be steep mountains, deep valleys and crevasses, High tides and sweltering heat at every turn.

ENDURANCE will take total commitment in the study of God’s Word while His Spirit takes full control of our life as we finish God’s mandate. Our staying power is then like the Pronghorn Antelopes who may not be the fastest but can ENDURE till the race is over.

So as a Child of God, we must out distance the god of this world. Remember we have the advantage of being covered with the armor of God and the blood of Jesus Christ. Not like the cheetah who starts out fast, but in the end becomes a prey who is vulnerable and weak, because his HEART will not sustain the challenge.

Friends if our ENDURANCE is limited we also become a prey to the god of this world. “For it is for discipline that you have to ENDURE. God is treating you as sons. For what son is there whom his father does not discipline?

Because if we plan to enter God’s kingdom we must be “SAFE TO SAVE” and if we are, His promise to us is ENDURE because “…I go to prepare a place for you?……and I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.” John 14:1-4 (ESV)

“ALL TO JESUS I SURRENDER, ALL TO HIM I FREELY GIVE”

“ALL TO JESUS I SURRENDER, ALL TO HIM I FREELY GIVE; I will ever love and trust Him, In His presence daily live. All to Jesus I SURRENDER, humbly at His feet I bow, Worldly pleasures all forsaken; Take me, Jesus, take me now. All to Jesus I SURRENDER, Lord, I give myself to Thee; Fill me with Thy love and power, Let Thy blessing fall on me.” 

Have you ever wondered how Cancer develops in one’s body? Well it all starts when cells in a one part of the body begin to grow out of control. Cells in most parts of the body divide only to replace worn out or dying cells, but cancer cells continue to grow and divide.

They are different from normal cells; instead of dying, they outlive normal cells and continue to form new abnormal cells. Cancer cells develop because of damage to DNA. In cancer cells, the damaged DNA is not repaired.

Often, cancer cells travel to other parts of the body where they begin to grow and replace normal tissue. These cancer cells, if they are not entirely eradicated, will continue to multiply and will eventually kill.

My friends cancer and sin are much alike we must completely eradicate sin if we wish to live abundant lives in Christ. Romans 12:2 (ESV) tells us Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”

Luke 9:23-24 (ESV) states. And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me….” But we will never be able to divorce our self from sin unless we recognize that the cancer exist in our life.

No matter how small the cancer or sin may be sin will eventually kill “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23 (NIV) who is the great Physician.

In addition we must SURRENDER it all as we begin to allow the Spirit of God to completely transform our mind and body from the results of sin to the Character and  life that we live through Christ whose personal blood gives us the transfusion that makes this all possible.

“When the heart (SURRENDERS) to the influence of the Spirit of God, the conscience will be quickened, and the sinner will discern something of the depth and sacredness of God’s holy law, the foundation of His government in heaven and on earth.

The “Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world,” illumines the secret chambers of the soul, and the hidden things of darkness are made manifest. John 1:9 (KJV) Conviction takes hold upon the mind and heart.

The sinner has a sense of the righteousness of Jehovah and feels the terror of appearing, in his own guilt and uncleanness, before the Searcher of hearts. He sees the love of God, the beauty of holiness, the joy of purity; he longs to be cleansed and to be restored to communion with Heaven. “(E. G. White Steps to Christ, p. 24.)

So  friends surrender today “And you, who once were alienated and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds,  he has now reconciled in his body of flesh by his death, in order to present you holy and blameless and above reproach before him, if indeed you continue in the faith, stable and steadfast, not shifting from the hope of the gospel that you heard..” Col. 1:22-23 (ESV)

As we SURRENDER, there also must be Repentance and Restoration which leads to the sinner entering into the Presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as we completely move in a new direction. Because up to this point you have not allowed God’s Spirit to completely cut out the cancer of this world that has distracted you from SURRENDERING it all to the Master, so the sin has just laid dormant.

So today I appeal to you therefore, “brothers, and sisters by the grace and mercies of God,” please, SURRENDER IT ALL TO HIM AS YOU PREPARE FOR LIFE ETERNAL.

17 SADISTIC MURDERS, DO I HAVE TO EAT DINNER WITH SUCH A MONSTER?

No temptation (no trial regarded as enticing to sin), [no matter how it comes or where it leads] has overtaken you and laid hold on you that is not common to man [that is, no temptation or trial has come to you that is beyond human resistance and that is not adjusted and adapted and belonging to human experience, and such as man can bear]. But God is faithful [to His Word and to His compassionate nature], and He [can be trusted] not to let you be tempted and tried and assayed beyond your ability and strength of resistance and power to endure, but with the temptation He will [always] also provide the way out (the means of escape to a landing place), that you may be capable and strong and powerful to bear up under it patiently. 1 Cor. 10:13 (AMP)

The text above is Amplified so you can make it PERSONAL for your situation, as we FOCUS on the amazing God we serve, a God who will analyze and dissect each trial personally to make it fit for each unique situations.

So God says, the trials of your life are uniquely different from my trials because I may not be strong enough to handle the same trials as you. But in all situations our loving God has developed a way of escape.

Yes my friends A road-map for Nero, Aldolph Hitler, Charles Manson, even Judas, the betrayer of Christ. Yes the most wicked, on all accounts in our society and also His faithful Children, so all may receive life eternal. That tells us all sin is an abomination unto God.

Now let’s go to Wikipedia the Internet Encyclopedia. In addition, this is what it tells us about Jeffrey Dahmer, the sadistic murderer, who dismembered 17 men and boys; “Shortly after completing his lengthy confessions in 1991, Dahmer had requested to Detective Patrick Murphy that he be given a copy of the Bible.

This request was granted and Dahmer gradually devoted himself to religion and became a born-again Christian. In May, 1994, Dahmer was baptized by Roy Ratcliff, a minister in the Church of Christ and a graduate of Oklahoma Christian University, in the prison whirlpool.

Following his baptism, Ratcliff visited Dahmer on a weekly basis up until November, 1994. Dahmer and Ratcliff regularly discussed the prospect of death and Dahmer questioned whether he was sinning against God by continuing to live. On the morning of November 28, 1994, Dahmer was killed in prison.

My friends this is where I need you to focus today. In Gods pure and holy kingdom if we see Mr. Dahmer sitting at the Banquet table of the redeemed, we will then understand the love, grace and mercy of our Savior who provided a way of escape for all.

Consistent with this and without any reservation our words will be, thank God the blood of Jesus was shed for all, from the most sadistic of our society on earth, to  His faithful Deacon and Deaconess who eventually after years of praying and keeping their eyes on Jesus finally overcame those “SOCIALLY ACCEPTABLE SINS.”

Remember my friends every Child of God “was shaped in iniquity; and in sin did (our) mother conceive (us).” Ps 51:5 (KJV)  “There is Power in the blood of Jesus Christ,” and when we place our lives up against the purity of His.

Our condemnation no matter who we are or how many sins we have committed should be given the sentence of death. “Then cast into the furnace of fire. (Where) there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.”

But thank God our Savior ”provided a means of escape that we may all be capable and strong enough to bear up under the weight of ALL SINS  PATIENTLY. Friends, God still extends His grace, so please give it all to the Master.

Overcoming is not just about us. Our Savior has a stake in this controversy. Remember He Left his kingdom to come among us, He paid a very High price to save all who believe. Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, “stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord,” 1 Cor. 15:58 (NIV)

AND ONE DAY SOON, YOU WILL BE AT THE BANQUET TABLE OF THE REDEEMED, HOPEFULLY WITH ANOTHER CHILD OF GOD, JEFFREY DAHMER.

MY GOD, WILL I EVER GET THROUGH THIS STORM?

Today my friends let’s FOCUS on the Storms of our life that has allowed a state of depression, and despair to exist. Today, let’s FOCUS on giving Christ full control, while allowing that storm whatever it may be, to become a constant measure of our faith and strength that will carry each of us to the next level in our life, where God is trying to take us.

So whatever storms that exist in our life that may allow us to lose our faith in God. We must decide today, THROUGH the Saving grace of our Savior to ENDURE as we “Put on all of God’s armor so that we will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil.”

In addition we are also putting the god of this world on notice that our faith is unmovable and that the victory over the storms in our life have already been won on Calvary because our God has promised us in 1 John 4:4(NIV)………”Because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.”

In other words this Journey that our God has placed us on, Is greater than any storm that Satan may create in our lives to discourage us from completing that journey, because we know our GOD will get us THROUGH, as He allows His Children to understand and focus on the fact that He is the perfect storm of our life.

Ps. 16:8 (NIV) tells us “I know the LORD is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me.” In Job 1:6-8 (NKJV) it says One day the angels came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came with them.

The Lord said to Satan,….“Have you considered my servant Job? “There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil.” Oh my friends I hope my faith is of such that my God can also brag on me.

We all know the story of Job. But what I will say today is, if our walk is with God Daily, and you have allowed His Word and Spirit to infiltrate your mind and body. No storm is powerful enough to take you away from God.

Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 15:58 (NKJV) “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain.” Our God also wants His Chosen generation to know what the transforming power of His word and Spirit will have on our life, if we are willing to have faith and endure THROUGH our storm.

Remember our God is the “author and finisher of our faith,” and you can be “confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. Phil 1:6 (NIV) Even When Job’s hope had disappeared and everything he held dear to him was lost.

He endured until the end Because he allowed the lord to carry Him THROUGH every situation and circumstances of His Life and once Job fully covered himself with the armor of God, he knew with no reservation “If God is for (you), who can be against (you)? Romans 8:31 (NIV)

Joshua 1:9(NKJV) also tells us “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” weather at night or day, in the storm or in sunshine.

Our weeping is temporary, the night is not going to last. God is teaching us the only place for your trust is in His loving care and protection. Everything else is temporary only His love will last. So today FOCUS, and ENDURE, the journey is worth it.

Earth is that place of eternal preparation for God’s pure and holy Kingdom and life eternal. So my friends tell yourself, “When I saw the storm that lay before me, I cried Lord, what will you do? I thought He would just remove it. But, He took my hand and gently guided me THROUGH.”
