MY FRIENDS, WE CAN ALL BE IN THAT GREAT NUMBER!!
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” For He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge…….. Ps. 91:1-6 (ESV) This Psalm is a message of comfort for God’s children who are going through trials and tribulations and the constant “breaking news” and the hopelessness of man’s heart that grows colder and colder each day.
During this time, He will cover us with his pinions, and under his wings we will find refuge as prophecy unfolds in our life time right before Christ second coming and right before, the great tribulation, as the world has never seen before nor ever will see again. And except those days be shortened, no one will be left alive, but for the elect’s sake, God will bring it to an end.” Matt. 24 21-22 (KJV Paraphrased)
Oh the grace and mercy of God whose promises we can hold on to even in the worst of circumstances, even during a time of great desolation and confusion like never before He will still be our “refuge and our fortress” And even if we are in the clutches of the fowler who is a hunter of prey, our God will deliver us. But my friends, all promises in God’s word are based on our willingness to give it all to the Master.
So we must ask ourselves, during this probationary period have we allowed God’s Spirit to take us to the next level in our life where self no longer exist and we are able to “dwell in the shelter of the Most High and abide in the shadow of the Almighty.” My friends, today grace still abounds, the four angels who stand on the four corners of the earth, have not been told to let go of the four winds on this earth, because the servants of God have not been sealed that John speaks of in.” Rev. 7:1-4 (KJV)
In addition, there are still souls God’s Spirit is preparing for us to be a light from Christ that shines into their heart. But soon if not us “the rocks will cry out.” So today we must “forsake all others” and go out and tell the world of Christ soon return. But my friends, victory can only happen through prayer and fasting and the study of God’s word and not just the fasting of food but from our abstaining entirely from what we know is “not pleasing in God’s sight.”
God’s word is our GPS to His kingdom, and “The road is only narrow and difficult to travel” if we feel the things of this world is more important than our relationship with God. But God has given us the choice to be one of the few who are able to travel that narrow road with success. And don’t let the words “a few” frightened you for a few is only in comparison to all the souls who Christ died for that refused His grace.
John puts a better picture on those few who will travel that narrow road and enter God’s kingdom in Rev. 7:9 (ESV) when he looked, “and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands.” And friends, Christ died so that we all can be in that “great multitude that no one could number”
