MY FRIENDS, GOD HAS A PLAN AFTER THE STORM FOR HIS CHILDREN!!
If the storm continues and the winds keep on blowing in our life, “our soul still has to stay anchored in the Word of God,” because it is God’s word that keeps us steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that our labor is not in vain in the Lord.” But if you seek God’s kingdom, those storms will probably never cease.
The bright sunny days are only a blip on the radar on this journey Christ has placed us on. You are probably saying, what a terrible thing to say, but it’s OK my friends, “because we cannot grieve as others do who have no hope” because our God has a plan after the storm for His Children.
For our Lord “knows the thoughts that [He] thinks towards [His children], thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jer. 29:11 (NKJV) But we have to be able to hear God speak to us through His word and Spirit, that combination, word, Spirit, must be our anchor.
In addition, “the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Heb. 4:12 (NKJV)
There is a song by MercyMe that say’s “I’m finding myself in the midst of You, Beyond the music, beyond the noise [and I am finding out,] All that I need is to be with You And in the quiet hear Your voice. Word of God speak, Would You pour down like rain, Washing my eyes to see Your majesty, To be still and know That You’re in this place, Please let me stay and rest In Your holiness. Word of God speak”
Yes my friends we have to go beyond the noise of the storm, beyond the rainbow that comes after the storm and let the “word of God speak” for if we have decided to serve God and take up our cross and be a disciple and say with passion and conviction, not my will but thy will be done, then we can be “confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in [each of us] will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;” Phil 1:6 (NKJV)
Consistent with this, God’s plan continues “Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb through the middle of the street of the city; also, on either side of the river, the tree of life with its twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month.
The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. No longer will there be anything accursed, but the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants will worship him. They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. And night will be no more.
They will need no light of lamp or sun, for the Lord God will be their light, and they will reign forever and ever.” Rev 22:1-5 (ESV) But we must have faith and believe that “All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.” 2 Timothy 3:16 (NLT) It’s not enough in just knowing the good news, God has commissioned us to tell the world that He has a plan after the storm.
So friends stay focused, remain faithful, love one another and endure till the end and never forget to STUDY&PRAY
