MY FRIENDS, WHAT IS THE THEORY BEHIND ETHNIC CHANGE?
In 1620 the Pilgrims arrived in America from Europe. They weren’t looking for riches; they wanted religious freedom. Within a few years after their arrival at Plymouth rock, thousands more Europeans immigrated to America seeking freedom from hunger, war, unemployment, or religious persecution. while other ethnic groups arrived from Africa as slaves. And now with the influx of so many immigrants the European Culture Here and abroad have taken the attitude, this is our country.
There was no problem when we were only the “poor nigger” or the tool of the European an the American economic system. But now the non-whites have climbed the ladder of success and respectability as that of the white race. But that can’t be possible, white entitlement tells many, no one is equal to the European, not even God. As nonwhites we cannot change our race because that is our “genetic identity related by a common descent or heredity” and one we should all be very proud of. But our ethnicity is a different story because it is the culture or social group that puts us in a distinctive religious, social or economic status.
Culture being defined as the behavior and beliefs characteristic of a particular group of people. In this context we are distinguishing different groups spiritually. And as a child of God, there can be only two groups, One with the characteristics or culture of Satan and the group with the characteristics and culture of Christ. And not just having the religious affiliation of being a Christian. But someone that has “forsaked all others” except Christ.
Because my friends, “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.” Matt 7:21 (KJV). Once again “but” and “not” is showing the contrast between the “mere talker and the doer of God’s will. If we are just a talker, we have the culture of Satan. But Calvary has given the culture of hope to all of God’s children, which makes us a-part of the culture and doer of God’s will.
In addition, we have the culture to love God with all our heart and with all our soul, as we keep His commandments along with the culture to love our neighbor as ourself, Mark 4:19 (KJV) because without this love for God and man the “worries of this life, the deceitfulness of wealth and the desires for the things of this world, come in and choke [what is in God’s word that tells God’s children, red yellow black and white which are all precious in God’s sight, what we must do in-order to be saved in His kingdom.
And then we become unfruitful and unproductive to those Christ expects us to be witnesses to.” My friends today we must dissociate ourselves from the things of this world that do not center our attention on the culture of Jesus Christ and Him crucified and our new home, the kingdom of God. If we are serious about our Salvation there must be a deep passion from within, a passion for righteousness by faith, and a passion for God’s word to penetrate from within until our light so shine that the culture of those we witness too change also as they see Christ in everything we do and say.
Paul tells us “our citizenship is in heaven” that my friends is the culture we must be focused on and the words of our savior Himself that tells us “Let not your heart be troubled [about the cares and culture of this world] In His Father’s house are many mansions; and one of them have all who believe and endures to the end name on it.
