MY FRIENDS, AS WE MOVE CLOSER TO THE END OF THIS RACE, ARE YOU FATIGUED AND BATTLE DRIVEN?
My friends, as a Child of God in the 21st century, achieving total commitment and Victory sometimes seems impossible. There are so many things that draws our attention away from what is vital to our Salvation.
Even watching the News, becomes so mind boggling, that we transfix our attention on the events of the day and lose all concentration on our goal, life eternal. My friends as we look back over our lives and look at the life we lived, the times we allowed Satan to run rampant from within.
By the grace of God, most of us can say we have no physical signs that we had been in a war zone. But now the real war begins, the controversy within self rages on. It may not be adultery, but it’s lust, it may not be stealing, but the idea of paying tithe becomes complicated at bill time.
But remember my friends, we belong to God now. We must never cease to “lift up [our] eyes to the hills From whence comes [our] help? [which] comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.” Ps 121:1-2 (NKJV)
Consistent with this, “the battle is not ours, but God’s.” In addition, when we as Christians remain Focused on the saving power of Christ and His spirit, we then surrender all obstacles that may hinder our total commitment to Christ.
“Now in the morning, as [Christ] returned to the city, He was hungry. And seeing a fig tree by the road, He came to it and found nothing on it but leaves, and said to it, “Let no fruit grow on you ever again.” Immediately the fig tree withered away.
And when the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, “How did the fig tree wither away so soon?” So Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree.
But also, if you say to this mountain, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done. And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.” Matthew 21:18-22 (NKJV)
But friends, God’s promises are on conditions that states “if you are willing to have faith and not doubt” and give it all to the master, not just 99.99% but your all. So By given our all to God, it takes the focal Point off of self, and what we may want.
In addition, it places it upon the promises of Christ and the knowledge that He was willing to pay such a high price for our salvation, His own life.
So as a chosen vessel of God, through His word and Spirit, we should have only one focal point and that is finishing the course and receiving the gold. Fatigue cannot be an option, we are to close to the finish line, God is looking for dedicated workers who will allow Him to become our strength.
My Friends, God is among us today, His strength and power, his presence, his character, his attitude, his hope, his grace, his love, his mercy, his focus, his faith, his endurance, lays before us, if we will just give Him our all.
But we must be willing to say, not my will, but thy will be done and not just us, but for everyone who believes. But it is our responsibility to let the world know that Jesus lives in each and everyone who believes and endures to the end.
Yes my friends “There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse” “Emmanuel, God with us” And His Character traits He gives to each of us if we seek His presence, because He is among us in every situation, and circumstances.
In addition, every mountain we climb He will be there to Climb it with us and when we begin to get fatigue and battle driven He will be there. Every breath we take God will be with us, because He is the breath of life. “the light of the world. [And] Whoever follows [Him] will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
So my friends today. Stay focused, remain faithful, love one another and endure till the end and never forget to STUDY&PRAY
