MY FRIENDS, A VISION FOR US TO HOLD ON TOO NOW WHAT?
Today Friends, I need you to feel that passion for “what eye have not seen nor ear heard.” Because it won’t be long before we put on our robes, and tell the story of how we made it over. ”For His promise to his faithful is sure, “The Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 1 Thess. 4:15-17 (KJV)
Always, meaning infinite, forever, with no ending. After we see the face of our Savior, who gave it all even His life, so that we, 144, 000 plus, that great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands. [ may live life and may live it more abundantly throughout the ceaseless ages of eternity] Rev. 7:9 (NKJV)
As we sit at the banquet table of the redeemed with family, friends and love one’s. “We will then lift our hands and voices in total admiration” as we proclaim our personal journey of how we made it over and as we all focus on our journey, it won’t be hard for us to remember the endurance and faith it took to get here as we remember, there was always darkness before dawn” but now we will forever see the light of the sun, or Son.
For the vision of hope in His word sustained us along with our faith and God’s spirit, because there were times in most of our lives, life became blurred by the god of this world who would captivate our attention. But no greater love then our God who kept reminding us “I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake you. Isaiah 42:16
And many times we turned our back on God as we would move away from His presence. But my friends, God’s love reached, as we were sinking into the abyss and pulled us onto that peaceful shore. And here we are as we cry out His promises were true. His word was sure, “and heaven is cheap enough.” Now eternity awaits and at that moment “we lift our hands in total adoration once again, for we just can’t stop praising His name, because we always knew our “Redeemer liveth.”
Because He was always our “shelter through the storm” as He guided us in the paths of righteousness, For His name’s sake.” “Human language is inadequate to describe the reward of the righteous. It will be known only to those who behold it. No finite mind can comprehend the glory of the Paradise of God. In the Bible the inheritance of the saved is called a country. Hebrews 11:14-16.
There the heavenly Shepherd leads His flock to fountains of living waters. God’s people, so long pilgrims and wanderers, shall find a home. My people will dwell in a peaceful habitation, in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places. There is the New Jerusalem, the metropolis of the glorified new earth, a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of our God. Her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal.” (E.G. White) My friends, our vision, now what?
