PLEASE LORD WASH ME CLEAN TODAY!!!

My friends as a child of God we have within us the propensity to allow the god of this world to dictate our agenda from day to day simply because we are “shapen in iniquity; and in sin did [our] mother conceive us.”Ps. 51:5 (KJV)

“Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” 2 Corinthians 5:17(KJV) OLD THINGS ARE PASSED AWAY. Friends there is no need to ever look back over the dirt and mire of our life once Christ is in control, for we are now cleanse in the blood of Jesus Christ who gave it all on Calvary for our Salvation

“In 1818, Ignaz Phillip Semmelweis was born into a world of dying women. One out of six young mothers to the scourge of “childbed fever.” A doctor’s daily routine began in the dissecting room where he performed autopsies. From there he made his way to the hospital to examine expectant mothers without ever pausing to wash his hands. Dr. Semmelweis was the first man in history to associate such examinations with the resultant infection and death.

His own practice was to wash with a chlorine solution, and after eleven years and the delivery of 8,537 babies, he lost only 184 mothers–about one in fifty. With vigor he lectured and debated with his colleagues as he argued and preached to closed minds that “Puerperal fever is caused by decomposed material, conveyed to a wound. . .I have shown and proved how it can be prevented…I am not asking anything world shaking. I am asking you only to wash…

For God’s sake, wash your hands.” Doctors and midwives had been delivering babies for thousands of years without washing, and no outspoken Hungarian was going to change them now! Semmelweis died insane at the age of 47, with his words still ignored on his lips “Wash me! “Wash me! (Boyce Mouton) My friends King David States “Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.” Ps. 51:2 (NIV)

Ezekiel delivers a message to Israel from God in Ezekiel 36:25-27(NIV) when he tells them “I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols. 26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.”

Jesus Himself tells us “unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.” John 3:5 (ESV) In addition, when Christ attempts to wash Peter’s feet Peter replies. “you shall never wash my feet.”Jesus answered, “Unless I wash you, you have no part with me.” “Then, Lord,” Simon Peter replied, “not just my feet but my hands and my head as well!” John 13:8 (NIV) Without being washed and cleanse of our sins by the Spirit of God, we will then allow Satan the privilege of causing us to die from the “contamination and abomination” of the sins that he brought into our lives while we ignored the voice of God’s Spirit who was seeking to transform our character into the image of Christ.

My friends Time is vanishing quickly. Soon God will say He that is unrighteous, let him do unrighteousness still: and he that is filthy, let him be made filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him do righteousness still: and he that is holy, let him be made holy still. Behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to render to each man according as his work is.”Rev. 22:11-12(NIV) So please ask GOD TODAY TO WASH YOU CLEAN FROM YOUR SINS
