MY FRIENDS, DO YOU REMEMBER THE WAY LIFE USED TO BE?

Today it’s personal as we look back and say, “I can’t forget the way life used to be, when I was a prisoner to the sins that had me bound, and then one day Jesus came into my life and healed my sin sick soul with a touch of His love, grace and mercy.” And now I will  give Him all the praise, glory and honor, because He’s worthy, oh so Worthy!!

My friends, what a life we lived back in the day, when we thought we were having such a great time, when Satan had us bound together on a road with so many of us traveling in the same direction.

In addition, we had no thought that we were on “a train which “seemed the whole world was on board…the conductor, a fair, stately person, whom all the passengers looked up to and reverenced…..[not realizing] “It was Satan, who was the conductor, and he had taken the world captive and [we were] all traveling at lightning speed to perdition.” (E.G. White Early Writings)

But oh the love that reached into that train and pulled us to safety on the prayers of so many mothers, fathers and love ones and it all happen before there were any permanent signs of the effects of what we experienced while on that journey.

But today, we are on another journey that our Savior has placed us on, one that is bound for the promise land, led only by the love and grace of Jesus Christ and him crucified. My friends, eternity awaits, “in a place eye have not seen, nor ear heard, the things prepared for all who love the Lord,” if we can just hold on, and endure.

Remember Jesus knows how much we can bear, but our faith must be tried and tested because we must understand where we are going, and what is at stake. We must never forget “The whole universe has become witnesses to the nature and results of sin and its utter extermination of everything it touches.

In addition, when our journey is over, God’s law of love, grace and mercy will then have been vindicated and “Never will evil again be manifest. Says the word of God: “Affliction shall not rise up the second time.” Nahum 1:9. (KJV)

“The law of God, which Satan has reproached as the yoke of bondage, will be honored as the law of liberty. A tested and proved creation will never again be turned from allegiance to Him whose character has been fully manifested before them as fathomless love and infinite wisdom.”(E.G. White, The Origin of Evil pp 504)

So we must become “safe to save” that is why each day we must die to self as we take on the Character of Christ. 1 john 3:2 (NKJV) tells us “Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.”

Yes my friends, when Christ comes through those clouds we will be like him and we will never look back on what it was like before He came into our life. And now our passion for Salvation must be;

“There is [no other] place we long to be [than] In our Savior’s embrace where [we are] free From life’s [trials as we find] rest and sweet communion [in the loving arms of Jesus, because He] has all that we need and will ever need,” throughout the ceaseless ages of eternity.

So friends stay focused, remain faithful, love one another and endure till the end and never forget to STUDY&PRAY
