003-joshua-jordan“Early in the morning Joshua and all the Israelites set out from Shittim and went to the Jordan, where they camped before crossing over.  After three days the officers went throughout the camp, giving orders to the people:

“When you see the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God, and the Levitical priests carrying it, you are to move out from your positions and follow it.  THEN YOU WILL KNOW WHICH WAY TO GO, ….” Joshua 3:1-4

This was directions of the Israelites new leader, Joshua who replaced Moses in leading the Children of Israel to the PROMISE LAND. He was Chosen, because HE HAD BEEN THIS WAY BEFORE.

Forty years earlier he stood at the threshold of the promise land, only to be denied entrance because the Faithless multitude had refused to focus on where God had brought them from. But how does one forget the plagues of Egypt, and the Passover night,

moses-parts-the-red-seahow does one forget the parting of the waters at the red sea, as they crossed over to escaped from the Egyptian army, how does one forget the food of angels from heaven for nourishment, and water from a mountain for thirst,

how could you ever forget the breathtaking power of God at Mt Sinai, and how do you forget God’s personal Message, from Moses “Here is what I want you to say to my people, who came from Jacob’s family. Tell the Israelites,

“You have seen for yourselves what I did to Egypt. You saw how I carried you on the wings of eagles and brought you to Myself.” What A sad scenario To have seen and heard the mighty power of God, and still be denied entrance to the Promise land,

because your focus was on the Giants of the land, and not the one who created the giants. Joshua  remembered listening to the reports of the twelve spies who said “We went to the land where you sent us. It really is a land flowing with milk and honey.

38Here’s some of its fruit. But the people who live there are strong and the cities have walls and are very large. But only Caleb and Joshua out of the multitude over twenty knew the power of God and what He had done for them in the pass.

“Let’s go now and take possession of the land. We should be more than able to conquer it.” But Satan encouraged doubt from the faithless “We can’t attack those people! They’re too strong for us!”

and now only Caleb and Joshua remained out of the million plus, who were over twenty who died in the wilderness. Yes my friends only two over twenty knew where God had brought them, yes only two over twenty HAD BEEN THIS WAY BEFORE.

Yes my Friends They knew from personal experiences what the fear of the unknown would do to someone who would not let the presence of the Lord determine there destiny. So that is why Joshua’s mandate to the multitude was to follow the covenant of the Lord

So today my friends As God’s Children, the journey we are now traveling to the promise land stands on the other side of  our trials, and tribulations that we must encounter as this controversy continues between Good and evil,

for It is UNCHATTERED TERRITORY to us, but our Lord and savior Jesus Christ HAS BEEN THIS WAY BEFORE. He knows the rough terrain. He knows the temptations and hardships one must encounter daily from the forces of evil,

yes He knows the pain of the road we must travel, and the exhaustion of the constant battles from Satan for John 4:6 tells us “Jacob’s well was there, and Jesus, tired as he was from the journey, sat down by the well….”

But our Savior never lost focus. His love for us never wavered For He knew our fragile framework, because he was our imagesCreator; He remembered that we are made from the dust of the ground. And what delicate steps we must take to follow Him to Calvary.

But My friends who else to Guide us along this journey but someone who HAS BEEN THIS WAY BEFORE, and finished the course. So remember when you are tempted and the trials of this life seems to be more then you can bear.

Remember “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.” 1 Corinthians 10:13


The Psalmist also tells us in Psalm 73:23-26 Nevertheless, I am continually with you; you hold my right hand. You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will receive me to glory. Whom have I in heaven but you? And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever

Psalm 37:4 Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Matthew 7:7-8 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

But Waiting on God is such A painful experience sometimes, the wait becomes so discouraging especially when you see Him blessing others. Well God WHAT’S UP with that. How can I trust A God who has me waiting. Well God this thing will happen, and by whatever means necessary, I will  make it happen.

This is usually our reaction when we don’t see A instant reactions from God. We sometimes expect God to work like instance coffer two teaspoon in A cup of water, two minutes in the microwave, and you are off to the races. But my friends if you are A Child of the King, sometimes our prayer request can take A day, A week, or A season.

And in some cases, it may never get answered. “In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord; In the night my hand was stretched out without weariness; My soul refused to be comforted” Ps. 77:1-2. But What are our options in a trying season of waiting? well first, we must recognize God listens, and He is also still in control.

We must never forget His Son went to Calvary so that we may receive eternal life even in the midst of this controversy between good and evil. So God’s no. 1 priority is to Honor His name, and save us. For Peter tells us in 2 Peter 3:9 that “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness,

but is long suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. Yes my friends God “will neither slumber nor sleep” So we must established, A solid foundation in God even when our prayers are not being answered in every situation, or circumstances. But we must “Trust in the Lord with all our heart. and lean not on our own understanding;

imagesBut submit to him totally, and if you allow that to happen he will make your paths straight” and in the end that same path will lead to God’s promise land. But my friends in the mean time Pour out your Soul to God while allowing Him to encourage you (Ps. 62:8). tells us to

“Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.”  The Psalmest also tells us in Ps 46 “‘God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;……

God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved; God shall help her, just at the break of dawn……(But as A Child of God we must) Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” My friends the bottom line is we must Trust God. The most important thing in these turbulent times we live in today is that God  supplies all of our needs Not just our wants.

God wants us to understand that He is our only legitimate source of Help for Paul tells us in 1 Tim. 6:17. Command those who are rich in this present world not to beimages arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.”

So my friends today ask God to supply your needs in whatever way He fills fit to accomplish what He has started in your life For Philippians 1:6 tells us being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. So continued to make you petitions to the Lord.

As you search the scriptures for his promises while  Enduring till this race is over. But in the meantime Prepare yourself for God’s answer no matter what the outcome may be for He loves us more then we can ever imagine. And once again His name must be honored. So today ask yourself, How will that Job, House,  Car, Baby, or Marriage, Honor God and give you Eternal life at the same time.


So always tell yourself, “I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am. I know how to get along with humble means, and I also know how to live in prosperity; in any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of being filled and going hungry, both of having abundance and suffering need.” Philippians 4:11-12 So my friends Ask God for fulfillment, and a peace of mind today. Then, when He does give you your heart’s desire, as He answers your prayers your contentment will be firmly grounded in Jesus Christ and Him crucified.

“If I can help somebody as I pass along, If I can cheer somebody with a word or song, If I can show somebody he is trav’ling wrong, THEN MY LIVING SHALL NOT BE IN VAIN If I can do my duty as a Christian ought, If I can bring back beauty to a world up-wrought, If I can spread love’s message that the Master taught, THEN MY LIVING SHALL NOT BE IN VAIN

Watch what God does, and then you do it, like children who learn proper behavior from their parents. Mostly what God does is love you. Keep company with him and learn a life of love. Observe how Christ loved us. His love was not cautious but extravagant. He didn’t love in order to get something from us but to give everything of himself to us. Love like that. Ephesians 5:1-2 (The Message Bible)

5470405069_63a730f2b6Yesterday I was at a funeral of one of the much loved and respected Patriarchs of our church, such A beautiful and wonderful life she lived. Oh what A great feeling the family must have felt, hearing the words of love, as each individual who spoke, spoke only of her as A loving, and kind individual, who was always looking out for the welfare of others.

A life where self had died as she allowed the love and grace of God to control what she did throughout her life. A song was sung we all have heard in the pass. IF I CAN HELP SOMEONE ALONG THE WAY, THEN MY LIVING SHALL NOT BE IN VAIN. It is amazing when someone dies it allows each of us to look back on our own life.

As we begin to focus at what our  self worth was to others in the time frame God gives us to get it right. As I begin to meditate once again on the meaning of the words. IF I CAN HELP SOMEONE ALONG THE WAY, THEN MY LIVING SHALL NOT BE IN VAIN. I keep looking over my own life thinking. When the sunset of my life reaches its peak what will be said about my life,

and the life of my friends who reads this Devotional today, Did you make a difference in everyone’s lives ALONG THE WAY. And will your legacy have A positive and loving impact. And will everyone be able to say, I AM A BETTER PERSON BECAUSE WE WERE APART OF THERE LIVES. My friends today through God’s anointing power,

FOCUS on the talents and resources God has allowed you to have, and ask yourself how can I benefit those around me, As I Die to self daily while allowing Christ to transform, more and more of me, until He has total control, and my passion becomes  to HELP SOMEONE ALONG THE WAY ON THIS JOURNEY TO THE PROMISE LAND.

Just-Passing-ThroughMy friends as we approach the final days of this life’s history there will be A sharp contrast from A child of God and those who follow the forces of evil. For Paul tells us in 2 Timothy 3:1-5: the message bible paraphrase it this way “Don’t be naive. There are difficult times ahead. As the end approaches, people are going to be self-absorbed,

money-hungry, self-promoting, stuck-up, profane, contemptuous of parents, crude, coarse, dog-eat-dog, unbending, slanderers, impulsively wild, savage, cynical, treacherous, ruthless, bloated windbags, addicted to lust, and allergic to God. They’ll make a show of religion, but behind the scenes they’re animals. Stay clear of these people.”

But A Child of God in these last days, our testimony comes from John 13:34-35  when Christ tells us, “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

So my friends if you allow the value of God’s love in your life then your life will become the “salt of the earth”. with A holy and righteous legacy. And the only memory every one will have of you will be, someone who was KINDHEARTED, LOVING, JOYFUL, COMPASSIONATE, AND HUMBLE.


So my friends today let everyone rewrite there mission statement to say “I’ll give my hand to those who cannot see, The sunshine or the falling rain. I’ll sing my song to cheer the weary along, For I may never pass this way again! I’ll share my faith with every troubled heart, So I shall not have lived in vain. I’ll give my hand, I’ll sing my song, I’ll share my faith, because I know, That the time is now to fulfill each vow, For I may never pass this way again!” So today and until Christ comes, IF I CAN HELP SOMEONE ALONG THE WAY THEN MY LIVING SHALL NOT BE IN VAIN

“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls. When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it. Matthew 13:45-46:

pearl-of-great-price-c-36The merchantman bought the pearl after selling all he had. But let’s remember Christ is the gift of life. But in order to receive the gift that only Christ can give You must allow Him full access to your life in order to transform your mind body and soul into the Character fit for the His kingdom.

And once we give it all to the Master we begin to recognize that “The gospel of Christ is a blessing that all may possess. “The poorest, as well able as the richest, for no amount of worldly wealth can secure it. It is obtained by willing obedience, by giving ourselves to Christ as His own purchased possession.

Education, even of the highest class, cannot of itself bring a man nearer to God. We cannot earn salvation, but we are to seek for it with as much interest and perseverance as though we would abandon everything in the world for it. We are to seek for the pearl of great price, but not in worldly marts or in worldly ways.

The price we are required to pay is not gold or silver, for this belongs to God. Abandon the idea that temporal or spiritual advantages will win for you salvation. God calls for your willing obedience. He asks you to give up your sins. “To him that over cometh,” Christ declares, “will I grant to sit with Me in My throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with My Father in His throne.” Rev. 3:21. ( E, G, White Christ Object Lessons)

Our attitude should be as that of the merchantman willing to give all we own for our salvation. Remember he sold EVERYTHING, because He knew that the treasure he had found, far exceeded the value of anything he had in his possession, more then his home, his cars, his clothes. My friends this is how we must view Salvation.

7_heavenThe kingdom of God it must become real to us, more then anything this world and the forces of evil has to offer. I once received an E-mail of about twenty of our popular entertainers Homes. Some extending many city blocks in length. They are beautiful estates that have great value. But today my friends, I need you to focus on the kingdom of MY GOD.

His kingdom is priceless, and it far exceeds anything we could ever imagine. A kingdom OUR GOD has prepared for His Faithful Children who WILL ENDURE TILL THE END, and who’s robes have been washed with the blood of Jesus Christ. For Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 2:9

“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him. But our Faith must tell us, that This is what OUR GOD has waiting for us if I can just stay focus and give it all to the Master. The price for our Salvation was paid at the cross.

But we all must be willing to say. My only desire, is to honor You Lord with all my HEART and SOUL. Every breath that I take Every moment I’m awake Lord I give to you. My friends in the end There will be many who are forever seeking that precious pearl that can only come from God. But they will never entirely surrender it all to the Master.

Somehow they will always find ways to stay faithful to the things of this world. They will never allow self to completely die, so that Christ can take full control. Therefore they never find out the true value of salvation, and eternal life. They will never fully conquer ungodly ambition and their love for what the world has to offer.

imagesNever willing to follow Christ to Calvary. Only willing to get to the threshold of the promise land, but not willing to do what it takes to cross over. As Heirs to Gods kingdom we must maintain A real passion to claim our new found treasure. John tells us in Revelation 21:7 “The one who conquers will have this heritage, and I will be his God and he will be my son.

And when we know the value of what we have as heirs to the kingdom of God, We must never keep it hidden BUT LET IT SHINE!! spread the good news and tell everyone I have found A treasure that no man can place A value on and it is Called JESUS CHRIST and you can tell the world our God has made A promise to all who stays focused.

That  one day OUR GOD will choose those who are poor in the world and rich in faith to be heirs of His kingdom. This my friends He has promised to those who love him and keep His commandments.

Who is Mary Magdalene: Some scholars believe she was the adulterer brought to Jesus one day to test Him, that they might have something on which to accuse Him.

RH-MaryWashesJesusFeetJohn 8:2-11…….“Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground. At this, those who heard began to go away……. until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. Jesus straightened up and asked her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?” “No one, sir,” she said. “Then neither do I condemn you,”

Then Luke 8:1-2 tells us. “After this, Jesus traveled about from one town and village to another, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom of God. The Twelve were with him, and also some women who had been cured of evil spirits and diseases: Mary (called Magdalene) from whom seven demons had come out.”

Then Mary took a pound of very costly oil of spikenard, anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped His feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the oil. But one of His disciples……… said, “Why was this fragrant oil not sold for three hundred denarii and given to the poor?”……John 12:3-7

then Luke 7:39-43 tells us “Now when the Pharisee who had invited him saw this, he said to himself, “If this man were a prophet, he would have known who and what sort of woman this is who is touching him, for she is a sinner.” And Jesus answering said to him, “Simon, I have something to say to you.”………

“A certain moneylender had two debtors. One owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty. When they could not pay, he canceled the debt of both. Now which of them will love him more?” Simon answered, “The one, I suppose, for whom he canceled the larger debt.” And he said to him, “You have judged rightly.”

As Mary’s tears of love flowed down her cheeks mixing with the fragrance of Love and gratitude of our Savior, she stoops to wipe the feet of the master, Her thoughts were only “I can’t forget the way life used to be while I was a prisoner to the sin that had me bound…., Until the day when Jesus came to me And healed my soul With the wonder of His touch.

So now I’m giving back to Him All the praise He’s worthy of,  because I’ve been forgiven. And that is why I love Him so much And pour out My praise on Him Like imagesoil from my alabaster box.” My friends Nothing is to costly for the good Shepard, as He guides us on our Journey to Calvary and then to His Kingdom.

But very few truly comprehend all that Christ is to them And what He can do, if they would just have faith and stay focused on the transforming power of the Saviors touch. As I listen to the words of the song, ALABASTER BOX sung by Lillie McCloud, from the X factor. Oh what gratitude I felt as the Spirit touch my heart to tell you today that Jesus lives.

As you witness the tears of the judges and the audience reaction I begin to wonder how many really are affected by the Spirits presence in the Words, as she sung, for you could not but fill God’s Spirit. But when each individual realizes what Sacrifice it will take to give it all to the master in Changing one’s Character to be like Him.

How many will walk away like the rich young ruler as they mummer the words of king Agrippa when He said to Paul after Paul spoke of The saving power of Christ to A captive audience “You almost persuade me to become a Christian.” My Friends each week as we sit in our pews at our churches, and fill the presence of God’s Spirit. Once we get home

Mary-Resurrection-Jesus-Christ-Mormonand our minds begin to focus on the things of this world. Do we begin to tell ourselves. God’s Spirit almost persuaded me to give it all to Christ, and follow Him no matter where it may lead. From A human standpoint Mary appeared hopelessly lost in sin. “But Christ saw in Mary capabilities for good.

He saw the better traits of her character. The plan of redemption has invested humanity with great possibilities, and in Mary these possibilities were to be realized. Through His grace she became a partaker of the divine nature. The one who had fallen, and whose mind had been a habitation of demons, was brought very near to the Saviour in fellowship and ministry.

It was Mary who sat at His feet and learned of Him. It was Mary who poured upon His head the precious anointing oil, and bathed His feet with her tears. Mary stood beside the cross, and followed Him to the sepulcher. Mary was first at the tomb after His resurrection. It was Mary who first proclaimed a risen Saviour.” (E.G.White Desire of Ages)

My Friends Christ waits, His grace and mercy is sufficient if we will choose Him today. Remember Christ Died on the Cross for our sins. Our Gift to Him must be our Mind and Body, and in return His Gift to us will be Eternal life.

Still-Background-Set-Let-It-Shine_slide1_390x294Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believe………

This is how Webster defines the word ashamed: 1. feeling distressed or embarrassed, the feelings of guilt, foolishness, or disgrace: There was the story of a boy who was asked by his mother what he had learned in Sabbath school that day. The boy describes the story of the Israelites exodus from Egypt,

but when he came to the dramatic portion about the crossing of the Red Sea, here is how he told the story: “Moses took out his walkie-talkie and called in the Israeli Air Force to bomb the Egyptians, while the others built a pontoon bridge to crossover the Red Sea.” His mother asked, “Is that how they told you the story?”

He dropped his head and muttered, “Well, no, Mom, but if I told you the story the way they told it to me, you’d never believe it!” Most of our sentiments exactly. Whenever we read the Bible, we are suddenly thrust into a world which seems out of touch with the reality of what we as humans consider real or believable.

For instance. Let’s take a few stories from the Word of God: First story, A world where the world we live in was created in seven days, A world where seas part and where millions of people traveled across on dry ground, A world where one man is able to kill a thousand men with the jawbone of a ass, A world where a teenager kills a giant with a slingshot and a stone.

but the ultimate or the most distant of all the stories in this world of make believe, is the story about the king of the universe. Who reincarnates His Son into a urlwoman’s body. He is then born in A manger here on earth to poor parents.

He then lives a sinless life for thirty thee years and doing this time He performs many miracles and at the same time He, proclaims the good news of the gospel and then the Jewish people, His own ancestry, kills Him by Crucifixion on a hill called Calvary and then He raises Himself from the grave.

And He does all of this for our sins so that we can receive Salvation, but only if we believe and have faith in this fantastic story. And if we do have faith and believe, one day soon we will go to live with him in a far away place in the sky called heaven for ever and ever, where sin will no longer exist.

My friends, I just repeated to you, the good news of the gospel, but it is not for the saved Christian. We are beneficiaries of it, but We as Christians are expected to tell this story to A world lost in sin. Yes my friends, the adulterous, lying, stealing, gossiping, murdereous, covertness, greedy generation who are seeking a sign are expected to believe.

religion2For in In Mathew 12:39 it says An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign. But my friends it is not our responsibility to convict or save, that is the responsibility of the Holy Spirit it is only our responsibility to love, and in our Hearts  each day LET IT SHINE!!! LET IT SHINE!!! LET IT SHINE!!!

as we spread the good news of Christ soon return.  Friends history tells us millions of martyrs died for this same gospel some are ashamed to proclaim. And most of them were not some skilled competent, proficient orator, or eloquent practitioner. But the good news of the gospel was mostly proclaimed by the common mediocre man or woman,

who experienced the transforming power of the holy Spirit in there lives, and just wanted to proclaim this good news of what Christ had done, and was doing in there lives at the time as they LET IT SHINE!!! My friends what a wonderful message to proclaim as you begin to tell how our loving Savior lifted you up,

and brought you to Safety in His loving, caring and merciful arms. Friends if you are willing to give it all for the Master AND LET SHINE!!! the Bible will speak for sun4itself through Gods Spirit. Because there is power in the Word! So, let us all say with Paul, “I AM NOT ASHAME OF THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST.”

And we as Christians need never to be ashamed of our Christian faith because of God’s promises in Romans 5:5 which say’s “And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.” Romans 10:11 also says “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.”

So today my friends if You love the Lord with all your Heart and soul, then tell the world and LET IT SHINE!!! LET IT SHINE!!! LET IT SHINE!!!

“And to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things through Jesus Christ; to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places, according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him. 




My Friends as Children of God we are A part of the body of believers who’s foundation is Jesus Christ and Him crucified. for Colossians 1:17-20 tells us He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.

For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

So today, I would like each of you to focus on God’s insight for His Church as it relates to each of you and how both unite together in Holy matrimony for our Atonementdsalvation and How your role fits into God’s overall vision, along with our faith and endurance as we follow Christ to the cross and finally to His pure and holy kingdom.

First Christ establishes His Church Matt.6:18 says “…. and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Christ being the Rock for in 1 Cor 10:4 it tells us and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them, and that Rock was Christ.

So Christ was telling each of us, that He will establish His Church, and neither principalities or powers can prevail against it because it was established by The Son of God, who is our focal point, from creation to the crucifixion, from the old to the new testament, and from type to anti-type.

From the death of animals to the death of the son of God. Therefore, when He came into the world, He said: “Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, But a body You have prepared for Me.” God’s original purpose for Adam and Eve after there fall, and then Israel, was to reimagesflect Christ image To A world and to the principalities and powers in heavenly places” both good and evil.

They were to establish God’s law as A law of love, A binding Contract that Can never be Changed, So God sent His only son to Calvary, and there on the cross, the unity of love between the Father, Son, and Spirit  came together for the Eternal purpose to save man. And this my friends is God’s ETERNAL PURPOSE.

And this unity of love we all must have if our destination is God’s kingdom. My friends the controversy between good and evil ended at the cross when Christ said it is finished. Oh what a demonstration of His love and the steps the trinity was willing to take. Oh what love, God sending His only Son to bear the penalty of man’s mistakes.

A eternal spotless Being uniting with humanity who was capable of sinning  as He took upon himself the sins of the world nailing them to A cross where his blood washes away the penalty forever if we believe. And as man and God unite Christ becomes our mediator and substitute. Oh the mercy and grace OF GOD’S ETERNAL PURPOSE,

Remember My friends The church is to be God’s navigator for the reconciliation of eden to A world that was lost in sin, Ephesians 1:9-10 tells us he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ.” My friends are ’t you glad As A Child of God you are A part of the unity of GOD’S ETERNAL PURPOSE FOR EACH OF US AND HIS CHURCH

parableoftheweddinggarmentJesus spoke to them again in parables, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a king who prepared a wedding banquet for his son. He sent his servants to those who had been invited to the banquet to tell them to come, but they refused to come.

………“Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding banquet is ready, but those I invited did not deserve to come. So go to the street corners and invite to the banquet anyone you find. So the servants went out into the streets and gathered all the people they could find,

the bad as well as the good, and the wedding hall was filled with guests. “But when the king came in to see the guests, he noticed a man there who was not wearing wedding clothes.  He asked, ‘How did you get in here without wedding clothes, friend?’

The man was speechless. “Then the king told the attendants, ‘Tie him hand and foot, and throw him outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’ FOR MANY ARE INVITED, BUT FEW ARE CHOSEN.“

The Marriage represents the unification of Jesus Christ incarnate as the son of God and humanity. The wedding garmentThe-Son-of-God-became-man-to-enable-men-to-become-sons-of-God represents the transformation of our character to be like that of God’s only Begotten Son Jesus Christ. For in

1 John 3:2 it tells us Dear friends, “now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.”

The first invitation was sent out to God’s Chosen the lineage of Abraham. And they rejected Him as the Son of God. So the King, once again sends out an invitation to everyone throughout the universe good and bad.

The good news is everyone who receives the Call and accepts the invitation is welcomed. And many will accept. What is so amazing, the Banquet Hall where the wedding will take place is large enough for everyone with faith,

and believed that the king would invite A sinner like me to such an occasion. Oh my friends what An Honor. The guest arrive the King examines our Characters, which represents the judgment which is going on now.

For Paul tells us in 2 Corinthians 5:10 “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.”

white-robeBut our character must be like the King for He tells us “I am the good shepherd, and I know My own and My own know Me,”  Because every Garment, or character is A gift from the king because we gave him our all.

Oh what faith, and the Sacrifice of Calvary that was made so that everyone who accepted the invitation could be there. But there will be some clothed in the dress of the world. It will show that they spent no time in knowing,

or making the preparation required by the king to be there. For in Matt. 7:21 it tells me “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

And the saddest words we will ever here will be “How did you get in here without wedding clothes ” And what could possible be one’s answer when the King gave everyone who was invited His own robe of righteousness,  His only Begotten son.

The only thing that was required was to accept the kings invitation and the free gift of His garment. So in not accepting we have condemned ourselves. And then the king said, “Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness.”

Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you;

depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ Matt7:21-23. “FOR MANY ARE INVITED BUT FEW ARE CHOSEN.” “My imgresFriends everyone who accepted the Kings invitation to the banquet profess to be A follower of the Good Shepherd.

But not everyone is willing to give it all to the King. So Before the invitation goes out we must decide today if you are willing to be fitted to be in that “great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, Rev. 7:9

My friends, God’s Kingdom is where the final banquet of the redeemed will take place. The decision is yours are you willing to do whatever it takes to be there for my God will come, and His reward is with Him, “to give every man according as his work shall be.” Rev. 22:12

If God’s Word were studied as it should be, men and women would have the open mind, excellent character, and firm purpose that are rarely seen in these times.

The search for truth will reward the seeker, and each discovery will open up more valuable fields for investigation.We should prize the Bible because it reveals the will of God. Here we learn the object for our creation and how to attain that objective. We learn how to make wise use of the present life and how to obtain the future life.

No other book can satisfy the questionings of the mind or the cravings of the heart. As we acquire a knowledge of God’s Word and practice it in our lives, we may rise from the lowest depths of degradation to become children of God, the companions of sinless angels.” (E.G. White A Call to Stand Apart)

If we remained focused on the Word of God it will always have an immediate, and intense impact on our lives. But, the real value lies in the effects that A  lasting discovery to God’s Word will bring to each of our lives whenever we allow the Spirit of God to guide each of us step by step through The word of God,

which is the source from which those seeking God’s presence in there life will formulate their love , faith, hope, and endurance. It provides the direction, to everyone who once they have allowed the Holy Spirit to Guide them will apply its principles every day of their lives. Paul says in 2 Tim. 3:16, 17

“All Scripture, divinely inspired, is profitable for teaching, for conviction, for correction, for that discipline which is in righteousness, that the man of God may be 6213314_scomplete, thoroughly fitted for every good work” The power of Gods word will sustain me in each situation, and trial that comes into my life in Heb 1:3 it says

“The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word.” When I need restoration, awareness, intensity, and strength in my life , one must turn to the word of God. “I am afflicted very much; Revive me, O LORD, according to Your word

. . . My soul clings to the dust; Revive me according to Your word” (Psalm 119:107, Psalm 119:25). When there are burdens in my life Psalm 55:22 tells me to ” Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.” For John 1:1 tells me “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”

Ps. 16:8 also tells me I know the LORD is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me. In Job 1 6:8 it says One day the angels came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came with them. The Lord said to Satan, “Where have you come from?” Satan answered the Lord, “From roaming throughout the earth, going back and forth on it.”

Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job? “There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil.” Oh that my faith was of such that my God could brag on me. We all know the story of Job. My friends the part of his story I would like everyone to focus there attention on is,

if your walk is with God and His word Daily, and you have allowed His Word and Spirit to infiltrate your mind and body. No storm is powerful enough to move you from God. for Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 15:58 “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of

And my God knows this because He knows, and He wants you to know also what A transforming power of His word and Spirit will have on your life if you are willing to have faith and believe and endure As A Child of God. Paul tells me in Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

And once we Have allowed our Focus to rest on the spiritual foundation on Jesus Christ and Him crucified then it is at that point we can Say it with meaning, that His Grace is sufficient, Basically, sufficient means My God’s grace is enough for all, and every situations and circumstances in our lives, Sufficient does not say Get over it. You’ll understand it better through time. No It just says, My grace is sufficient for you, and if you have faith, I am all you will ever need or want.

Revelation 3:14-21 The Lukewarm Church “And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans “I know all the things you do, that you are neither hot nor cold. I wish that you were one or the other! But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth!  You say, ‘I am rich. I have everything I want. I don’t need a thing!’ And you don’t realize that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked…….Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends. Those who are victorious will sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat with my Father on his throne.”


We as Christians  must recognize The Laodicean church  in Rev. 3 also represents the 21st century high tech, got to have the latest right now society church. But the question we must ask ourselves is. How do we give it all to the Master and also focus on the unity of the body of God’s Church. Paul tells me in 1 Cor. 12:12-14447103778_640

“Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free and we were all given the one Spirit….

So if we have the same Spirit it is impossible for the Church not to grow spiritually, because there is only one Spirit and one God. My friends, we as A body of Christ must decide today to become totally committed to spreading the good news of God’s Saving Grace, and  Christ soon return in our Churches and to A world that is sinking in sin,

as wickedness increase and the love of most draws Cold with no hope of survival. But as members of the body of Gods Church if we continue to allow our focus to be on materialism, consumerism, and I’ve got to have the latest simply because it is the latest, instead of our focus being on Jesus Christ and Him Crucified then God  speaks directly to

you who are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold,” then He tells us “I will spit you out of my mouth!  You say, ‘I am rich. I have everything I want. I don’t need a thing!”  My friends the purpose of the letter to Laodicea, is so that you and I as part of this church, may overcome, the influences of our world in the 21st century.

Remember my friends The letter finished on a triumphant ending, with a glorious, and victorious note. It says, “To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and set down with my Father in His throne.”

So our prayer today must be Lord, we the member’s of the 21st century Laodicean church pray that we will not become lukewarm, but we will have a burning imagespassion and desire, to share Your Truth as it is written in your word To the World.  in Colossians 3:2 it tells me to “Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

Paul also tells me  in Colossians 2:6 -8 “As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.”

as followers of Christ we must continue His ministry as a body of believers. And with a fire that burns within our mind and body as we become witnesses to A world lost in sin, as we petition God’s Spirit to have the same burning effect on everyone we come in contact with. Luke tells us in Luke 24:32

imagesWhen the two disciples of Christ on the road to Emmaus, realizing it was  Christ they had spoken too. Said to one another “DID NOT OUR HEART BURN WITHIN US WHILE HE TALKED WITH US ON THE ROAD, AND WHILE HE OPENED THE SCRIPTURES  TO US?” That word  Burn, meaning to be set, or consumed on FIRE.

This is what God wants from each of his Children. If we are consumed with a burning passion to have an intimate relationship with God then everyone we talk to, or witness to, will also feel a exhilarating burn within their hearts.

Which will lead them also to seek Jesus Christ and spend quality time in the all consuming presence of our Savior. As the entire body of Christ remains focused through Faith in our Savior that will Save us from sin, and one day soon give us His ultimate reward, which is ETERNAL LIFE
