THOSE CRAZY CHRISTIAN’S ARE AT IT AGAIN!!!

The most consequential event in Bible prophecy to the Children of the King is Christ Second Coming. And the Last day prophecies in God’s Word is the stimulus that motivates A lasting faith through the Spirit of God within the Christian community that allows someone like John Huss “When the flames kindled about him, he began to sing,

“Jesus, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me,” and so continued till his voice was silenced forever. And Jerome, who died soon after, said: “Both bore themselves with constant mind when their last hour approached. They prepared for the fire as if they were going to a marriage feast.

Or Paul who was “persuaded that He who has conquered death is able to keep that which is committed to His trust. His thoughts and hopes are centered on the second coming of his Lord. And as the sword of the executioner descends and the shadows of death gather about the martyr, his latest thought springs forward, as will his earliest in the great awakening, to meet the Life-giver, who shall welcome him to the joy of the blessed.” (E.G.White The Great Controversy, Acts of the Apostles)

No Christian can truly cling to an unseen faith who can not focus on A crucified and risen Savior who will return one day to take his children back home to his pure and holy kingdom. All the avenues of time, history and prophecy converge at Calvary and Christ second coming. Satan is a clever strategist who knows,1-lisbon-earthquake-1755-granger-300x176

if He can just keep our focus on our  HDTV sets, Internet, and the things of this world, then our attitude about end-time events will be secondary to what the world has to offer. Christ has ask His people to watch for evidence of His approaching return “Now learn a parable of the fig tree: When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.”(Matthew 24:32-33)  Great pains should be taken to keep the good news of Christ soon return the forefront of our message before our churches, and A world lost in Sin that Christ soon return, will come as A “thief in the night.”

Below are some in-time-events out of the pages of God’s Word that tells us “And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads, for your redemption draweth nigh.” (Luke 21:28)

Luke 21:25 “And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth distress of nations in perplexity because of the roaring of the sea and the waves” In 1755 the Great Lisbon Earthquake, occurred in the Kingdom of Portugal on Saturday, November 1, 1755, In combination with subsequent fires and a tsunami.

Twenty-five years after the Great Earthquake appeared the next sign mentioned in Revelation 6:12-14 the darkening of the sun and moon. Acts 2:20 tells us “The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord.” In the Savior’s conversation with his disciples upon Olivet,

May 19, 1780, stands in history as “The Dark Day.” Since the time of Moses, no period of darkness of equal density, extent, and duration has ever been recorded. “The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the Lord StarsFalling006come.” Joel 2:31.The moon became as red as blood on the night of the “dark day,”

In 1833, the last of the signs appeared which were promised by the Savior, as warnings of his second coming advent. Said Jesus, “The stars shall fall from heaven. And John in the Revelation declared, as he beheld in vision the scenes that herald the day of God: “The stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig-tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.” Rev. 6:13

This prophecy received a striking and impressive fulfillment in the great meteoric shower of November 13, 1833. That was the most extensive and wonderful display of falling stars which has ever been recorded;

As I was allowing the Spirit to inspire my subject for today. My mind went to A sequence of events starting in

1. John 18;2-9 Jesus meets Judas with an unruly rabble and officers
2. Luke 22:47-48 Judas betrays Jesus with A kiss
3. John 18:10-11 Peter cuts off the right ear of Malchus the High Priest servant.
4. Luke 22:51-53 Jesus heals Malchus ear.
5. Mark 14:50 All of Jesus Disciples fled in fear
6 John 18:12-14, 19-23 The rabble, officers, and Captain bound Jesus and leads Him to Annas the father-in-law of Caiaphas. One of his officers strikes Jesus.
7. John 18:24 Annas sends Jesus bound to Caiaphas
8. Luke 22:54-62 Peter denies Christ 3 times. The cock crows
9. Matt 26:57-68 Christ in front of the rabble, high priest, scribes and Elders is accused by two false witnesses Jesus condemns self. Caiaphas tears his robe and finds Jesus guilty of blasphemy. Jesus is spit on and hit in the face.
10. Matt 27:1 In morning, Chief Priest Elders and rabble ratify Christ sentence, bound Him and lead him to Pilate
11. John 18:28-38 Pilate questions Jesus, finds no fault.
12. Luke 23:4-12 Pilate sends Jesus to Herod where He is accused by the Chief Priest and Scribes Herod with his men of war mocks Jesus and puts Him in a robe. and returns Jesus back to Pilate.
13. Luke 23:13-23 Pilate tells the rabble. Herod nor Himself Finds Fault in Jesus so he will let Him go.
14 Matt 27:17-30 Pilate tries to release Jesus instead of Barabbas. Pilate’s wife warns Pilate to let Jesus go. The rabble cries for Barabbas and the crucifixion of Jesus. Pilate washes his hands. Jesus is stripped, beat, A crown of thorns placed on Christ head, A reed in right Hand, as they mocked and scourge Christ, as He is lead away to be crucified
15. Luke 23:26-32 Jesus carries His Cross Weakened from the severe beatings, Simon of Cyrene is made to carry it for Him.
16 Matt 27:33-38 The Crucifixion, Jesus is nailed to the cross along with two thrives.
17. Luke23:39-43 One thief mocks Christ, one accepts Christ as His Savior
18. John 19:23-42 The soldiers divide up Jesus clothes, and cast lots for His seamless tunic
Jesus makes sure His mother is taken care of He then knows all things has been accomplished I thirst he says they fill A sponge with vinegar and put it in his mouth. He then says it is finished and gives up the ghost. Then came the soldiers to brake his legs but He is already dead. A soldier throws A spear in His side to make sure. Joseph of Arimathea and Ncoidemus takes Christ body and buries Him.

What A powerful sequence of events in A matter of A few hours. So many in His presence but so many lost opportunities.

how could they not recognize the Savior of the world. What could be so different in the rabble and the woman with the issue of Blood who only touched the hem ofimgres His Garment and was made whole. My friends what does it take when you are so Close and never fill the saving grace and mercy of God. Where would you place yourself today?

With the Rabble who was close enough to look into the creator of the world’s eyes and say save me oh Lord, and receive eternal life, but choose not to? Or the woman with the issue of blood who knew she was not worthy but with humility and faith only touched the him of His Garment and was made whole?

Did the rabble ever study God’s Word, Did they ever seek God’s Spirit. On that day was anyone  focused on the saving power of the Savior except The thief on the cross. It took A thief, to let the world know the good news, if you just have faith and believe. So many souls were lost on that day 2000 years ago Matthew 27:54 tells us

“The Roman officers were terrified by the earthquake and all that had happened. They said, “This man truly was the Son of God!” But when they went back home, and business as usual, how many truly accepted Christ as there Savior and stayed in His presence. My friends is it business as usual with you.

How is it you can be in the presence of Christ all of your life and not know it. Can we all say as A Christian what Paul tells us in Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with imagesChrist: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

This tells me When you believe on God’s Saving Grace; proclaims him as your Savior and Lord; then the very character of Christ’s nature is connected with you. But my friends that can only come through The Holy Spirit, who will manifest the presence of Christ in us, through God’s Word if we accept, For the word of God is alive and active.

Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Hebrews 4:12 My friends Christ death allowed His presence to forever be A part of us. but you must be familiar with His presence in order to know when you are in it.

I WANT WHAT YOU GOT Exodus 20:17 the tenth commandment

Exodus 20:17“You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.”

Covetousness is simply defined as an intense desire to possess something (or somebody) that belongs to another person.

“The tenth commandment strikes at the very root of all sins, prohibiting the selfish desire, from which springs the sinful act. He who in obedience to God’s law refrains from indulging even a sinful desire for that which belongs to another will not be guilty of an act of wrong toward his fellow creatures.” (E.G. White)

1. Satan coveted Christ position in the Heaven that lead to his downfall and man’sGraspingForMore

2. Cain, jealous of his brother and having no regard for anyone but self, murdered his brother
Cain’s selfishness caused him to hate his brother and kill him.

3. David His selfish pursuit of pleasure caused him to sin with Bathsheba. His selfishness then led to lies and murder. Like David, far too many people today are selfishly pursuing pleasure with no regard for either consequences or the impact of their actions upon others.

4. Ahab King Ahab coveted Naboth’s vineyard and pouted when he could not get it (1 Kings 21). His wicked wife Jezebel killed Naboth and then gave his vineyard to her husband as a gift. He was ecstatic. He gave no thought to Naboth or his family. He had what he wanted.

5. James and John, Examples of those who selfishly desire power and prestige for themselves. They asked for the most prestigious and powerful positions in Jesus’ kingdom (Matt. 20), not to help others, but to have their own egos inflated and fulfilled.

Above is examples of Bible characters who allowed Satan to take control of their idle thoughts that moved the mind from I got to have it, too I will do whatever it takes to get it, which in some cases, eventually lead to murder. My friends In the world we live in today sin abounds from every corner on the universe and when we as Christians allow God’s precious time,

to be spent in idle and insignificant thoughts, while  allowing our  minds to be controlled by what Satan introduces to us as entertainment in the form of TV, and the man-watching-tvInternet. In most cases this is where our idle thoughts take root, in the  form of relaxation, and recreation from day to day as it begins to frame our minds to want,

the things that others have, or we cannot afford, or the lust of what Hollywood tells you is beautiful, while shutting out the Word of God and His Spirit from finding A entrance into our Heart. If we allow our time to be wasted my friends, Satan and the forces of evil will be all too eager to find things to occupy our time,

As our minds become a safe home for what we hide away in the subconscious of the mind. Oh what A perfect hiding spot for the pondering and meditation of all your desires and the illusions Satan has placed in the mind that leads down the road to craving the unreachable by any means necessary Philippians 4:8 tells us

…whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. “for we must remember that only through God’s Word and Spirit can we fight this Battle, because,

“our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” Ephesians 6:12 Paul set an example when He told the Thessalonians that“You yourselves know how you ought to follow our example.

We were not idle when we were with you. . . . On the contrary, we worked night and day, laboring and toiling so that we would not be a burden to any of you.” 2Thessalonians 3:7-8. NOT BEING IDLE is the key my friends our minds and body should forever be spent in the presence of Christ as we follow His example from day to day.

ArtBook__110_110__MissionariesSisters____God connects to us through our Heart, and God changes us by changing our Hearts. And if God is not in control, that is when idle thoughts are generated. My friends As Christians as we look at the world we live in today if our goal is the kingdom, then our minds will never be Idle. “For the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.

So the things of this world that I thought would be “gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ Philippians 3:7-8

So if we allow Christ to control our lives we will always be focus on finishing up the work for the master as we continue our mandate of spreading the good news. of His soon return.  .

MY FRIENDS WHATEVER DAY YOU KEEP, HOW DO YOU KEEP IT? The 4th Commandment Exodus 20:8-10

imagesMy Friends, Today we are not here to discuss what day of the week is the Sabbath because we all have our traditions. But what I am concern about as A Child of the King is how do we keep that Special Day. We all agree that it is A holy day that God created, blessed, and hollowed so we will forever stop, and focus on the goodness of our Savior and all He has done for us.

But when His word says six days shall thou labor and then you rest from work, how do we justify working on His Holy day, except when the Word tells us “………Going on from that place, He went into their synagogue, and a man with a shriveled hand was there. Looking for a reason to bring charges against Jesus, they asked him,

“Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?” He said to them, “If any of you has a sheep and it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will you not take hold of it and lift it out? How much more valuable is a person than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.”Matt 12:1-12 So God’s word tells us, it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.

Ms. White tells us “God has given us six days wherein to labor, and He requires that our work be done in these six working days. Acts of necessity and mercy are permitted on the Sabbath,

the sick and suffering are at all times to be cared for; but unnecessary labor is to be strictly avoided. “Turn away thy foot from the Sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on My holy day; and call the Sabbath a delight, the holy of the Lord, honorable; and . . . honor Him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure.” Isaiah 58:13.

gated_communityNor does the prohibition end here. “Nor speaking thine own words,” Those who discuss business matters or lay plans on the Sabbath are regarded by God as though engaged in the actual transaction of business. To keep the Sabbath holy, we should not even allow our minds to dwell upon things of a worldly character.

And the commandment includes all within our gates. The inmates of the house are to lay aside their worldly business during the sacred hours. All should unite to honor God by willing service upon His holy day.” (E,G, White Patriarchs and Prophets) My friends One day out of seven, Our God who gave His only Son to die for these Precepts, has ask His Children to honored them.

Remember In God’s pure and holy kingdom His Children who will endure till the end will praise Him Day and night For John tells us in Rev. 7:9-17 “and behold, a great multitude which no one could count, from every nation and all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes,

and palm branches were in their hands; and they cry out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb……“These are the 1943190_f248ones who come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. In Matt. 24 it tells us “……….“But he who endures to the end shall be saved.”

Yes my friends these are the redeemed who endured until the end. They are before the throne of God. These servants are before God’s throne continually because of their faithfulness. He who sits on the throne will forever protect them with his presence. No more suffering, no more trials or tribulation no more death or sickness.

They will hunger no longer, nor thirst anymore; for in John 4:14 it tells us. But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. Yes His sacrifice and our redemption and salvation will forever fill us with joy and Happiness.

We have been saved My friends from the clutches of Satin by the blood of Jesus Christ. And we will forever praise His name. So as we prepare for Eternity can we as children of God obey His Holy and sanctified precepts and take His Holy Day and make it A Special Day Just for Him where you praise and honor just God,

and not the mighty dollar, or yourself in His 24 hour time period that He Blessed, sanctified and made Holy so that we would never forget that He was our Creator and Savior.

If your goal is Eternity in God’s kingdom, then Remember His Commandments my friends. You shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates.

THOU SHALT NOT COMIT ADULTERY/FORNICATION: Exodus 20:14 God’s seventh commandment

Adultery:”Voluntary sexual intercourse between a married person and a partner other than the lawful spouse”
Fornication: “voluntary sexual intercourse between two unmarried persons or two persons not married to each other.

Hebrews 13:4 Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous

Matthew 5:27-29 “You have heard that it was said, You shall not commit adultery; but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye makes you stumble, tear it out and throw it from you; for it is better for you [b]to lose one of the parts of your body, than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.” (NASB)

DAVID MIRANDO A BETSABE“One evening David got up from his bed and walked around on the roof of the palace. From the roof he saw a woman bathing. The woman was very beautiful, and David sent someone to find out about her. The man said, “She is Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam and the wife of Uriah the Hittite.

” Then David sent messengers to get her. She came to him, and he slept with her…. Then she went back home. The woman conceived and sent word to David, saying, “I am pregnant.” 2Samuel 11:2-5 My friends It looks like someone forgot to tell David that He was A man after God’s own heart.

The point is even the elect are vulnerable when God’s precious time is not spent wisely, and our focus is not on His presence in our life. The world we live in today is so saturated with visual enticements that go straight at seducing the mind. Mrs White says it best in Letters to Young Lovers

“Those who would not fall a prey to Satan’s devices, must guard well the avenues of the soul; they must avoid reading, seeing, or hearing that which will suggest impure thoughts. The mind must not be left to dwell at random upon every subject that the enemy of souls may suggest. The heart must be faithfully shielded, or evils without,

will awaken evils within, and the soul will wander in darkness. Those who would have that wisdom which is from God must become fools in the sinful knowledge of this age, in order to be wise. They should shut their eyes, that they may see and learn no evil. They should close their ears,

lest they hear that which is evil and obtain that knowledge which would stain their purity of thoughts and acts.And they should guard their tongues, lest they utterimagescorrupt communications and guile be found in their mouths.” As with David His initial lust went from  Adultery, to Murder to lying but thank God it also lead to repentance,

confession and A renewed commitment to the will of God with these words of sorrow he states “Have mercy upon me, O God, according to Your steadfast love; according to the multitude of Your tender mercy and loving-kindness blot out my transgressions. Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin. Psalm 51:1-2

As A Child of the King we must forever stay focused while maintaining the mind and thoughts of Christ while continually sending our petitions to the good Shepard for strength through His Spirit for we must “Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Ep.6:11-13

My friends to try anything else besides God, in keeping your focus away from what the forces of evil Places in front of us in the world we live in today will be like bringing A knife to A gun fight, you will never be able to win that battle. But with Christ fighting each battle of the mind over the world oh Adultery, fornication or imgresany sin that may beset us, Christ will never loose.

He showed us that 2000 years ago when Satan thought he had taken Christ to the limit of His faith not knowing Christ faith is limitless because He never lost focus of His goal which was Calvary, but each Child of God can walk in the same footsteps of Christ if our  focus is steadfast, while always allowing our faith to be limitless in every situation and circumstances.

Yes my friends through Christ every battle was won for us at the cross, our journey has been set. but hope remains our choice either the world and destruction or Christ through His word and Spirit, eternal life, but choose you this day my friends because soon and very soon Christ will be returning to take all of His faithful Children to the promise land.

THOU SHALT NOT KILL!!!

THOU SHALT NOT KILL (Exodus 20:13, God’s six commandment)

As Children of the king we would never think of taken the life of another human who God has created in His own Image. But Christ, in looking down through the ages knew His commandments of love, must always be about love, and how our relationship with God and one another would always be the central motivational factor that influence each individual towards redemption and sanctification Through His Word and Spirit.

imagesMatthew 5:21-22  tells us“You have heard that the ancients were told, You shall not commit murder’ and Whoever commits murder shall be liable to the court.’ But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be guilty before the court; and whoever says to his brother, You good-for-nothing, shall be guilty before the supreme court;

and whoever says, You fool, shall be guilty enough to go into the fiery hell.” (NASB) Mrs White Say‘s it Best in the Desire of Ages “Salvation is like the sunshine. It belongs to the whole world. The religion of the Bible is not to be confined between the covers of a book, nor within the walls of a church.

It is not to be brought out occasionally for our own benefit, and then to be carefully laid aside again. It is to sanctify the daily life, to manifest itself in every business transaction and in all our social relations. Jesus takes up the commandments separately, and explains the depth and breadth of their requirement.

Instead of removing one jot of their force, He shows how far-reaching their principles are, Murder first exists in the mind. He who gives hatred a place in his heart is setting his feet in the path of the murderer, and his offerings are abhorrent to God. Anger or resentment are opening the heart to Satan. Bitterness and animosity must be banished from the soul if we would be in harmony with heaven.”

John tells us in 1 John 4:20 If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen. Hatred is A Spiritual Cancer that eats at us from within the soul and mind. Cancer cells in your body manages to move throughout the body destroying healthy tissue in the process,

and once it invades your system that cell manages to divide and grow, and it continues the process until it has destroyed all good cells leaving your body totally imagescontaminated with the disease. So with Hate, as it invades your system it divides into bitterness, resentment, and strife, eventually taking control of your entire body and causing one to loose sight of the saving power of Christ.

In Heb.12:15 it tell us to “See to it that no one comes short of the grace of God; that no root of bitterness springing up causes trouble, and by it many be defiled.” hate and anger mentally allow’s Satan to take full control of our Heart and Mind as it eats away every good cell that God has instilled into us from above.

My friends The entire basis for discrimination is hatred. Hatred allow’s for the insane reasoning of A fellow Human to be separated from another Human simply because of their gender, color of there skin, or religious beliefs. “Like an unchecked cancer, hate corrodes the personality and eats away its vital unity and cohesiveness.

Hate destroys the foundation of our Character and distorts our ability to think or function rationally as a Child of God who‘s only focus should be on the kingdom of God, and not what the world deems as acceptable behavior “Hate destroys a man’s sense of values and his objectivity. It causes him to describe the beautiful as ugly,

and the ugly as beautiful, and to confuse the true with the false and the false with the true. (Martin Luther King, Jr.) Hate has slowly lead the U.S. and the world to blessed-hope-jesus-return-4_n1the point where Satan has been trying to get us to for 6000 years, and now today I can say without A Doubt He has succeeded to the point in that Hatred in our world today is more prevalent then the love of God.

But I can also say without A doubt that God is still in Control, and one day He will stand up and say IT IS FINISHED “He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still.” Revelation 22:11 But as we look at the world today,

and we near the closeness of Christ soon return, we must let the world know the good news of His return, and that the Cancer of hate can go into remission with the power of Love, for Love can naturalize and destroy all Hate from within Paul tells us in

 

1Corinthians 13:4-8 that “ Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily ANGERED, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails…… And it can never fail because God can never fail, and love is greatest gift from God to the world through His Son who died on Calvary to save man from the penalty of sin.

If you would give a gift so rare,
To one who means the world to you,
But wealth and fame are not your fare,
Don’t hang your head and don’t be blue.
While the world is wrapped in festive bliss,
Go join them and remember this,
The greatest gift all else above is LOVE.

RED BLOOD, WHITE ROBES!!!
Psalm 51:1-2 Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions. Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin. As Christians in the 21st century is it really possible to allow Christ to Penetrate every fiber of our being.

imagesCan the guiding hand of the Master take full control, in the transformation of our Character, as He eliminates the dirt that has accumulated in our life throughout the years, and make us clean by the shedding of his blood. how is it possible that the purifying power of God’s Word and The blood of Jesus Christ can cleanse us from all sin.

1 John 1:7 tells us “…the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.” “There is a stream that flows from Calvary, A crimson tide so deep and wide. It washes whiter than the purest snow.” And if we keep our eyes stayed on Christ as we continue to allow Him to transform our heart and Character like His, we will one day Inherit Eternal life.

John tells us in Rev 7:13-14 “Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, “Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?” And I said to him, “Sir, you know.” So he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

In this passage from Revelation, John of Patmos observes a great multitude, robed in white, with palm branches in their hands, worshiping and praising God. These are the saints, who, he goes on to say, have “washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.”

How does the blood and death of our Savior make the Dirt and mire of A sinner’s character A candidates for God’s pure and Holy Kingdom. Well His death at Calvary summarizes Christ infinite love for everyone. And once we as His Children  have been washed in His blood, we must also love as He loves.

We can not eliminate anyone no matter what economic background, or race they may be a part of. Revelation 22:14 tells me “Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.” ” Blessed are those who wash their robes,”

What makes the two verses  the commandments of God, and the blood of Christ link together as one is, the abiding love of the sacrificial Lamb to shed His blood on imagesthe cross for all. My friends we as candidates for God’s Kingdom must realize as we look into our mirror’s today, Have I allowed our lives to be purified by the One Who Died for everyone.

Remember Christ disciples were from every economic background. Peter, Andrew, James, Phillip were Fisherman. Matthew He was a publican or tax collector. Bartholomew Nathanael son of Talmai,Tradition says he was a mis­sionary in Armenia A number of scholars believe that he was the only disciple who came from royal blood,

or noble birth. His name means Son of Tolmai or Talmai (2 Sam. 3:3). Talmai was king of Geshur whose daughter, Maacah, was the wife of David, mother of Absalom. My friends The believer who longs to have his robe washed in the blood of Christ  must also love as Christ loved. accepting everyone in your  lives as you begin to wash and purify,

while confronting ungodly attitudes, carnal living, and selfish motives. and each day as we purify our lives by the standard of Christ we will stay in line with what Jesus is trying to do in our lives. The secret of truly washing our robes in the blood of Christ is having a close and personal relationship with Him.

imagesIt seems strange that red blood can make A robe pure white “Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. Isaiah 1:18 But the answer is very simple. Once you have been in the presence of Christ, you stand in the atmosphere of his love.

And by accepting that love, we accept everyone Because God loves everyone and it is all about love.To be washed in the blood of the lamb is to draw close enough to the cross of Jesus to be caught up in His love for everyone and the desire for everyone to be saved, while allowing our focus to be on what Christ wants and not what we want,

As we increase our territory in seeking souls for Christ Pure and Holy Kingdom. We as Children of God must seek daily total access to the abiding fellowship and love of Jesus Christ in order to wash our robes in the blood of Christ, and have A Character of Christ. And once we have that personal revival through Christ in our lives,

then we give it all to the Master in order to have the purity and love of Christ. My friends today please wash your Robes in the purity cf the blood of Christ. while  allowing Him to transform and make your lives as pure and white as his from the blood that He was shed for all.

JUST CLAIMING IT

I first wrote this devotion July 10, 2013 but the subject fits in with my three part devotional on stretching your faith to the limit through Christ. Tomorrow it will end with JUST CLAIMING IT ll, PLANTING THE HEDGES FOR GOD

Increase my territory Lord Out of All of Gods promises I ask for. Good friends are at the top of the list, and not for the sake of having friends. But Godly Christian friends, friends who will always encourage you in Gods name and His name only. Who’s mission on earth is like yours and that is to finish up God’s work here on earth, so we who believe and have faith in a Crucified, and risen Savior may live throughout eternity in His pure and holy kingdom. 

 

Today, it was good Christian friends of mine who were the inspiration for my title for my Devotional,  JUST CLAIM IT, As they conveyed their unique story about imagesCLAIMING IT, and how through there Faith and dedication to Jesus Christ and Him Crucified there prayers and vision was answered.

It begins with them looking for a new home, upon finding one it was already occupied by someone in fact it was designed and built by the developer who built the subdivision where the house was located, so With him being a builder, and a developer it had everything a family could ask for.  Soon He died and his family moved in.

But a year later they put it up for sale. My friends applied to get the house along with many others who were interested, but as Christians they claimed it in Jesus name, but not saying the other potential buyers were not Christians either.

Each day they would go to the house walk around, sit on the porch, and at times wave at there soon to be new neighbors sometimes at the door greeting other potential buyers as they came in. They even went so far as to take the measurement for curtains and other accessories for there JUST CLAIM IT new home.

But to make a long story short God blessed them with this beautiful home, and at a price that only God could have  taken over the negotiations. But they were not too surprised because they had already CLAIMED IT in Gods name.

Today I go to Joshua to one of God’s promises when I think of my friends story.Joshua 24:13-15  “So I gave you a land on which you did not toil and cities you did not build; and you live in them and eat from vineyards and olive groves that you did not plant. “Now fear the Lord and serve him with all faithfulness………..images

then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve…….. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” My friends our God is so willing to bless your life and open doors for you that you did not think would ever be possible. Paul say’s in Ephesians 3:20 “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine,

according to his power that is at work within us.” Luke also states in Luke 11:9-10…… “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.” But it is all about CLAIMING IT in Gods name.

John  15:7 says If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. The good news today! There is a king of kings and a Lord of Lords who is named Jesus Christ. And He has declared that every blessing recorded in His word is available to you for the asking.

But most of the time, You have not because you ask not. Ask now and receive the blessings that God the Father ordained specifically for you since the beginning of time. but there is another side to JUST CLAIMING IT also. When you do ask God for something. The key to you getting it most of the time is, it needs to be all about God and His glory.

James states it best in James 4:3 “When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.” So my friends today have faith  in our God and  start living a life saturated in overwhelming blessings that focuses on Gods needs and not yours.

But As we move around in this sinful world and we become more attached to earthly things, that connection weak­ens, and is some­times bro­ken. That is why our focus must be forever on Christ, His word, and Him Crucified.

So each day remind yourself that Salvation is a gift if we choose to accept it. Life will always bring it’s chal­lenges, but there is always Gods blessings. Some of the many blessings God gives could be just a heartfelt knowl­edge of yourself and learn­ing that you are stronger than you thought, because you gave it all to the Master,

Or it could be that God is teach­ing you grace in a way you never expected. Or it could just be a beautiful house, that each day you wake up and realize it was a gift from God and your thanks to Him will be to  serve Him, and give Him all the glory and honor each day of your life.

THE ROAD TO CLAIMING IT

Today is starting A three day devotional series on Faith, Tomorrows topic is A previous Devotional Just claim it 1. Then the final on Sat. will be, Just Claim it ll Planting the Scrubs. I Hope each of you will decide that as we enter into the last days of this life’s history, That our Faith must be stretched to the limit if we are to receive the blessing of God Spirit that will fill every soul that is purified from every defilement. So my friends remember there is no limit to God, He is Eternal. if we Have Faith and believe. “For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations. Ps. 100:5

He continually allows what seems or is humanly impossible to become totally possible through Him. And  as Christians we must each day determine with some conclusion what we cannot possibly justify or explain on this Journey God has placed us on.

But with our faith, simply say it was all God, So I will just close my eyes, and CLAIM HIS PROMISES. Our only focus must be on the power of God, And His promises through His word, because God’s promises are always a promise to permanently accept you and welcome you into his presence, if you have Faith and believe.

“Faith doesn’t necessarily know where it’s going, but it does know Who’s leading. “(Kent Crockett) And it is always God “For we walk by faith, not by sight:” The story is told of A student who had A good friend in graduate school who was blind. When he arrived he was given a tour by a campus representative.

We, his friends, also walked various routes with him to help him get acclimated on campus, in town, etc. He navigated by cane and not a service dog. Within days he was on his own. He explained that he counted his steps, he had “mapped” various soundscapes in his mind, could tell his position by echoes, non-echoes, as he became familiar with street crossings, stairwells, etc.

As Christian we must take A spiritual attitude of discernment, using the Blind student as our example and how he got from place to place, only using God as A Guide. However faith in itself is not blind; because it is based on God’s promises in the Scriptures, and our personal experiences in walking with God every day.

But what becomes sightless is the million of ways that our God has to provide for His Children, and what way He will use at any particular time in our lives. Becauseimgres each step in the life of A Child of God has been”ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.” oh what A good feeling to know my God is happy to lead and guide A sinner like me.

How He will do it, is where we become sightless, and our assurance in His promises takes control. Yes my friends As Christians, we must map our steps backward and see where God has brought us. Because as His Children we Grow in Faith daily like any child, but we will never develop  into full maturity until Christ one day looks into our Character,

and sees we have stayed focus by faith, and endured to the end and then, He will tell us Himself. “Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!” My friends we can never forget that Jesus, is “the author and finisher of our faith.”

Yes that only means He has PREDICTABILITY throughout His word and my life. but it all revolves around our faith, and if we are willing to claim His promises even if it means stretching our faith to the limit and beyond when we do not know exactly where He is trying to take each of us. Paul tells me in Hebrews 11:6 “And without faith it is impossible to please God,

because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” Today my friends we have true faith warriors inimgres Gods word whose experience gives us all strength. David facing Goliath, Daniel in the lions den, and the three Hebrew boys in the fiery furnace and many others. And once I take what is in God’s word,

with what God does for me each day as he guides me in all, situations, circumstances, concerns, trials, fears, hope, and joys. Then I can CLAIM HIS PROMISES FOR MYSELF. God‘s “SAVING FAITH is not merely some firmly held persuasion, but unwavering confidence in what God’s word specifically states, whether promise or warning, a blessing for this life, or for the life to come in Gods pure and holy kingdom”. My friends faith to me and I hope also to you. is surrendering it all to the Master not from what we can see all of the time, but what we believe because  “the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.” Deuteronomy 31:8. And I can  be confident of this, that he who began a good work in me will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. Philippians 1:6

.

LIES, GOSSIP, AN ABOMINATION TO GOD!!!

God’s ninth Commandment  “Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.” Ex. 20:16

imagesWithout Honesty where is the honor , and without trust, A true relationships has no, binding power, or foundation. lives are ruined by what comes out of your mouth. Jesus taught us the importance of truth as He described it as one of the essential ingredients on his Journey here on earth:

“…..To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.” John 18:37  And as I look at it, it must be all about love, For how can one love if lies and gossip controls the mind. For Paul tells us in

Ephesians 4:29 “Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for edifying as the need may be, that it may give grace to them that hear.” As I look at the world today there is such a grey area in our mind, but certainly not God’s, about lying. A policeman stopped me the other morning, A headlight was out.

upon telling me why he had stopped. At one time in my life my mind, reflex reaction would have been to say; oh officer did not know, will take care of it right away. But as A Child of God who seeks heaven as his home, I had A Christ reflex reaction, in which I said; yes I know it, I will have to get it fix.

He checked my license, gave me a warning and sent me on my way. As Children of God how could we justify anything else coming out of our mouth. Now let’s talk about A problem most of us have and that is gossip, especially at the dinner table after Church. Once we have talked about everything else on God’s day except God we start, our real, idle talk and rumor searching,

which in most cases is hurtful or malicious. Could you imagine Jesus telling His Disciples you know I just saw a Samaritan woman at the well, and she is such a floozy been with all kind of men. Or rumor searching about Mary Magdalene. That harlot had seven demons I had to cast out.

Friends as Children of God, we have to begin removing every weight of sin that does not allow us to walk in the footsteps of Christ. Heb. 12:1 tells us “….let us lay tumblr_m50ujlyWXv1qfqzivo1_500aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith;..”

My friends remember before you say anything about another child of God ask yourself as A Christian “Is it kind? Is it true? Is it necessary?” And would God approve of what I am saying about another He has shed His blood on Calvary for. A story is told about A young lady going to a dance as a teen.

“My mother was waiting for me when I came home,” she wrote. “But instead of telling her I had a great time, I regaled her with a scathing description of some incredible nerd who’d tried to dance with me. In essence, I said that this guy had a lot of nerve to expect anyone to dance with a person as weird and ugly as he was.

“When I finished my tirade, my mom said, ‘You know, this boy you find ugly and weird is some mother’s pride and joy. She waited for him to come home, just like I waited for you, hoping to hear he’d had a nice time at the dance. But when he came home, she saw his face, she knew someone hurt him, and it broke her heart.

TemptationSo the next time a boy asks you to dance, before you turn him down or make fun of him, just remember: Every boy is some mother’s son.” So My friends everyone is A child of God who He died on the cross for. Paul tells us in Romans 8:16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.

Also in 1 John 3:1 John tells us See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are… My friends lying, Gossiping is A abomination to God. For in Proverbs 6:16-19 it tells us There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to him:

haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community.”’ “for the latter rain will come, and the blessing of God will fill every soul that is purified from every defilement.”

 

THE KEY WORDS ARE PURIFIED FROM EVERY DEFILEMENT. So today seek God Presence and Spirit in your life through His Holy Word. And Look within yourself and ask “what must I do to be like Christ.” And remember what John tells us in John 13:34-35 “A new command I give you: “Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
