MY FRIENDS, DO OUR VALUE SYSTEM AS A COUNTRY, RUN CONTRARY TO GOD’S?

July 4, 1776 the Declaration of Independence “hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

My friends when you read the details in The Senate Committee’s Report on the C.I.A.’s Use of Torture, you begin to ask yourself what really is the foundation of our country’s existence and what was the Declaration of Independence all about and was God ever a relevant factor on what direction this country based its mission statement on?

The president told the country “We took some steps that were contrary to who we are, and our values,”  My friends People were paid 80 million dollars to torture other individuals, how many people could have been feed with that same amount of money.

Senator Feinstein report says “Aspects of the detention and interrogation of al Qaeda suspects, included: detainee’s becoming unconscious during the simulated drowning technique known as waterboarding, which would sometimes lead to convulsions and vomiting.

A detainee dying from exposure to extreme cold shackled to the floor in what government observers later described as a dungeon; detainees’ injuries being allowed to deteriorate as part of interrogation; and psychological effects from interrogation including hallucinations, paranoia, self-harm and self-mutilation.

You have, Forced Rectal Feeding and Worse which is rectal hydration which at times would be used as a form of behavior control. Standing on Broken Legs.  Sometimes a detainee who had been held partially nude and chained to the floor died, apparently from hypothermia. My friends, these are methods used on detainee’s, from a country where a black man is expected to be treated with equality.

How far does lawlessness have to abound, and the coldness of man’s heart have to get too, before we recognize that we need to focus all of our attention on preparing ourselves and others on Christ second coming and our residing in our new home above.

Because in this world, where the god of this world reigns for the moment “we do not have an enduring city [or a real place we can call home, but we must have a heartfelt passion to look for that city that is to come. That we can call home]” Hebrews 13:14 (NKJV Paraphrased)

And once we have done this our next responsibility is to tell the world that has lost sight of the saving grace of Christ that this is not there Home, equality for all will never happen in Satan’s domain. But we are equal only in the sight of God.

For “There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for [we] are all one in Christ Jesus. Paul also says “our citizenship is in heaven” So as Christians our minds must stay focus on things not of this world, as we look towards the future  and what our God has prepared for the redeemed.

Christ words in John 14:1-4 (KJV) tells us “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in me, In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you……that where I am, there you may be also…..”

That place my friends, where Christ went to prepare for His faithful Children, that is where our permanent home is, but only if we  believe and endure. For today we are just passing through. Though we travel as temporary residents, our mandate as Christians is to tell others also, of the good news of a new home, with the remaining time we have left here on this earth.

My friends this is the season where we focus on the birth of Christ, which is a great thing, but I suggest today, along with our focus on the birth of Christ that we center our concentration, not on scandal, the voice, walking dead, The Big Bang Theory or DWTS, or anything else that will keep our attention on this world and not centered on the  presence of Christ and his soon return.

In addition, we begin to tell the world, “we  can now count the months as day’s” when we will be with our Savior throughout the ceaseless ages of eternity.

MY FRIENDS, “OUR SALVATION IS NEARER THAN WHEN WE FIRST BELIEVED” SO WHERE ARE WE LAYING UP OUR TREASURES?

Isaiah 2:20 (NKJV) In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats.

They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumbling block of their iniquity. Ez. 7:19 (KJV))

First, Isaiah gives each of us a synopsis on our material possessions that we have made out of gods, god’s which are totally worthless towards our Salvation. Then Ezekiel adds too that as he tells us about our finances that we hold so dear to our heart, worthless treasures my friends.

But then Christ put’s everything into perspective when he tells us to “seek first His kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Matthew 6:33 (NIV) In our 21st century got to have it now society, everyone is focused on the latest designer fashions.

Also the newest cutting edge technology and innovations. The god of this world has set our sights on things of this world, and not on things above. But today to give it all to the Master should be our Aim, Motto and pledge as we begin to move across the threshold with our minds set on the promise land. For our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.

In addition, are our purchase habits based on our needs, or God’s needs. For we should never  “lay up for ourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for ourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be” Matthew 6:19-21 (ESV)  “And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.” Romans 13:11 (NKJV)

Yes my friends our Saviors return is nearer than when we first believed. As we study God’s word diligently each day, while at the same time we are seeking His presence and Spirit, we will begin to lay up our treasures in God’s kingdom, which then allows Christ and what His needs are to be the foundation in which we base our character on.

For “Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like: He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock.

But he who heard and did nothing is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream beat vehemently; and immediately it fell. And the ruin of that house was great. Luke 6:47-49 So

My friends if our life is forever spent on getting more and more things, things that has nothing to do with finishing up God’s mandate here on earth, then the foundation of our Character will be based on the things of this earth that will eventually fade away.

And my friends one day soon our “Riches [will] provide no security in the day of wrath and judgment, but righteousness and those treasures we have laid up in God’s kingdom will) deliver [us] from death and destruction. Prov:11:4 (PAV) So today, tell yourself “my salvation is nearer than when I first believed” So where am I laying up my treasures today.

MY FRIENDS, TWO THOUSANDS YEARS AND WE STILL WAIT, WHAT MUST A CHILD OF GOD DO?

Looking back as a child, when it was time for the family to go on vacations, usually in the summers. Oh the anticipation, of all the fun, and places we would be going, the excitement the adventure.

And then, that day would come, the packing, and food my mother would prepare for the many miles into an unknown territory we would be traveling a world of “Mother goose” and fairy tales to a child, a chance of discovering a world that left an imprint on one’s mind even to this day.

NASA has developed two spaceships “Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 that were launched by NASA in separate months in the summer of 1977 from Cape Canaveral, Florida.” between them, Voyager 1 and 2 would explore all the giant outer planets of our solar system, 48 of their moons, and the unique systems of rings and magnetic fields those planets possess.

Their five-year lifetimes stretched to 12 and is now near thirty years.” 30 years to explore just a fraction of the vast solar system our God created in six days, an attempt to find that place “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” 1 Cor. 2:9 (NKJV)

The god of this world has created within man a passion that drives them to do whatever it takes to get to that place called heaven. like the tower of Babel, Man thinks there is an easy and simple route, if we just keep building and exploring, we will eventually get there.

“Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the Lord, And He will have mercy on him….For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.“ Isaiah 55:7-9 (NKJV)

My friends we wait, we lone for that day, but we also must work. “As long as it is day, we must do the works of him who sent us. Night is coming, when no one can work.” John 9:4 (NIV) “Work, for the night is coming, Work through the sunny noon; Fill the brightest hours with labor, because rest will sure to come very soon.”

Oh the anticipation for the unknown. our new home, with streets of gold and mansions for all. But my friends, rest want come until God says “it is finished” let’s go get our children. Until then, we must be doing field work, utility jobs, the jobs that takes a lot of sweat and hard work to complete.

Some say, once you find Christ your job is complete, there is nothing else to be done, Salvation is free, I need only to sit back and wait for the Lord’s return. But James tells us in James 2:14-17 (NKJV) What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works?

Can faith save him? If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit?

Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.” Christ as our example tells us “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.” Luke 9:23 (NIV)

To carry a cross each day is not an easy task, Christ “came down from heaven not to do [His] will but to do the will of His Father who sent Him.” John 6:38 (NIV) Remember it is Christ who tells us “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.

therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” Luke 10:2 (NIV) My friends, how do those who do not know in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the earth.” Learn of the good news, if we who know, don’t tell them.

So friends as we wait with passion and anticipation for Christ return, roll up your sleeves and blouses and work.

MY FRIENDS, “THE EFFECTUAL FERVENT PRAYER OF A RIGHTEOUS MAN, OR WOMAN AVAILETH MUCH.”

My friends, we should be so familiar with God, because of His presence in our life that His mind, character, and Spirit is naturally a part of who we are, what we say, and where we go each day, while still having the humility of a child who still needs daily guidance and a fervent and heartfelt prayer life.

A prayer life that keeps us praying without ceasing before an all knowing, all powerful God who has the ability to be everywhere in  all situation and circumstances of our lives. My Friends personally, I am overwhelmed, and at the same time I rejoice at the thought of this Journey God has determined to place me on.

And yet it keeps my relationship with God constantly growing as self dies daily through faith, Prayer and endurance. Someone, who has no prayer life, is like  Sheep without a shepherd, having no guidance in their life. And as we move closer to Christ soon return we must continue to ask for guidance as our territory increases along with our prayer life.

But our prayers must be centered on the needs of others and God’s will for our life, not on what we want in-less what we want, brings others closer to Christ. Redemption, Repentance, Forgiveness, Hope and through our faith in God’s Spirit we begin to create a barrier around about us.

Because “we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore [we must] take up the whole armor of God, that [we] may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand……

[Also], with the shield of faith with which [we] will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one…..praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.” Eph. 6:12-18 (NKJV)

In addition, in God’s word we have as an example the original prayer warriors. Abraham, Moses, David, Samuel, Hezekiah, Elijah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and Daniel, with Christ the ultimate Prayer warrior.

For “The wisdom that God gives is unerring; His strength is sufficient for all our needs. Let us lay our burdens at the feet of Jesus, and according to His promise. He will take the weary load, and encircle us in the arms of His love.

The reason that we do not realize greater help is because there is lack of earnest, fervent devotion. Jesus reproved the Pharisees for drawing near to God with their mouth, and honoring Him with their lips, while their hearts were far from Him. “God is a Spirit; and they that worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth.”

We must have a deep, earnest sense of our needs. We must feel our weakness and our dependence upon God, and come to Him with contrition of soul and brokenness of heart. Our petitions must be offered in perfect submission; every desire must be brought into harmony with the will of God, and His will must be done in us.” (E. G. White Prevailing Prayer. my friends there must be a passion within us, a passion as we make it personal while crying out to the true light of the world, Lord “the increase of wickedness, and the love of the world is growing cold” please give me the  passion to serve as a vessel in your chosen generation “for such a time as this.”

A vessel that carries out your will, and desire, as I spread the good news of the gospel to all the world and with faith and prayer, I lift you up and magnify your name, and not just some acquaintance, but my best friend.

Oh “What a Friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and grief’s to bear! What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer!” and with great anticipation, we continue to look up saying “Lord Jesus, come quickly, please come soon.”

MY FRIENDS, A MESSAGE FOR ALL, “IT IS LIKE THE PRECIOUS OIL UPON THE HEAD, RUNNING DOWN”!!

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious oil upon the head, running down on the beard, the beard of Aaron, Running down on the edge of his garments. It is like the dew of Hermon, Descending upon the mountains of Zion; for there the Lord commanded the blessing Life forevermore. Ps. 133:1-3 (NKJV)

My Friends, Let’s focus today on the awesome and transforming power of Gods Spirit, for He “will give you life that comes from Christ Jesus and will set you free from sin and death.” Romans 8:2 (NKJV)

In addition, “It is like the precious oil upon the head, running down….. Running down on the edge of his garments.” My friends, the blessings of God extends to all “For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. Matt. 5:45 (ESV)

Abraham Lincoln in 1859 states “Those who deny freedom to others, deserve it not for themselves; and, under a just God, can not long retain it.” Over 150 years ago the world withheld freedom from so many, there was war, and thousands of lives lost.

The north won and the Emancipation Proclamation was created in 1863, which states that all slaves shall be free. But why, so much destruction? Why so many lives lost, and families separated and money wasted?

When on July 4, 1776 the Declaration of Independence was created so the world would know that we in the great US of A “hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

My friends, I needed to go back in history, so you can follow me on this journey where I need you to go today. First of all, this country has been blessed immensely, simply because it was founded on God’s word that states “all men created equal”

In addition, like “the precious oil upon the head…. All the way to the edge of his garments,” the blessings of this country should be running down to all, even the persons that takes orders at McDonald’s, or picks cotton in the blistering July heat, or the woman that must leave her two bedroom apartment and four kids in the middle of the night to go clean an office building in metropolitan downtown.

America should not have a hunger or homeless problem if the foundation of this country is still based on the unalienable Rights of all being equal. The text above says “to dwell together in unity” But my friends prophecy tells us at this moment we are living in the last days where the sin of man has just about abound to its limit.

And soon, God’s “spirit shall no longer strive with man,” and God will say it is finished. So my friends, for this world and country we can only pray for some to leave out of Babylon, as we seek out those who are willing to listen to the good news of God’s message.

Consistent with this, today, again it becomes personal, it’s all about self, and the body of believers who believes in the saving power of Christ. Our blessings and the message of the Spirit of God, along with our time, resources, and money, must flow to the poor and misfortunate and those who seeks hope.

Like precious oil upon our head, running down our bodies, all the way to our feet, it must all go to the glory of God as we ask “not my will, but thy will be done.” The god of this world has many believing there is no true God and there will be no retributions for their sins and disregard for others.

But today, God is looking For dedicated and faithful workers who will endure and are willing to seek God’s kingdom first, as we wait to hear Christ tell us himself  “Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!” “for there we will find blessing and life forevermore.”

MY FRIENDS, THE WORLD SEEKS HOPE IN ALL THE WRONG PLACES, WHAT DO WE TELL THEM?

Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. Romans 5:2-5 (NIV).

My friends The political climate, of one of the wealthiest countries in the world is appalling, the fighting and bickering so that the haves can continue to have, while the have not’s suffers and at the same time Rome continues to burn.

The republicans are now in control of both houses with their eyes on the white house in 2016. The great US of A now has the “old corrupt party of progressive, upper class thieves and crooks running it. Its politicians, black and white, are the products of a paid for at all cost political machines, who believe in absolutely nothing.

They go from being Dixiecrats to crying racism, from running on family values, to pushing gay marriage, to abortion and the war on Women.” In addition, they have decided the best way to win, is to just lie, and say absolutely anything to get elected.

In addition, spending 2 billion dollars on their elections, given to them by special interest groups who want too have a voice into Washington politics. You even have the Democratic Party fighting among themselves. “Harry Reid is blaming Obama. The White House is blaming Reid.”

And it has nothing to do with you or I, but between two ideas of what the Democratic Party should look like in order to regain power. My friends the entire political system have waxed cold. Washington is broken, as the world looks to Washington for solutions and hope to their problems.

But my friends we must tell the world that their “hope is built on nothing less Than Jesus’ blood and righteousness; [we] dare not trust the sweetest frame, But wholly lean on Jesus’ name. When darkness seems to veil His face, [we] rest on His unchanging grace; In every high and stormy gale [our] anchor [must] hold within the veil..

My friends continue to vote and rally, for one candidate or the other, because that is our civic duty as a citizen. But as a child of God we know prophecy, and it is our responsibility to tell the world the ending of this story and it want be who controls Washington, but who controls the mind, body and soul of every one who seeks God’s presence and kingdom.

We must redirect everyone’s attention off of self on to what does God want, what are his desires. “all the world is a stage,” and each of us are a part of it and the final scene is being played out before our eyes. Whose ready for the curtain to go down and God to say it is finished.

How do you stand in the sight of God. look back what did I do yesterday that I must allow to die today. We must all keep our focus on eternity, because it will take dedication, faith and endurance to be conquers. Each day there must be, reparation from within to the one who died for all, so that we “might have life, and that we might have it more abundantly.”

My friends. we must plead with heartfelt admonition to God to give us the power of His Spirit as we overcome the world, as sin abounds all around us. We must allow Him total access to transform our character into the character of the one who gave it all so that we may receive the gift of life eternal.

The world looks to Washington and the god of this world for hope. Each of God’s children has a mandate. we cannot be frightened of the unknown. Remember God will never leave or forsake us “He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” 2 Tim 1:7 (NKJV)To carry it out and tell the world where lies their only hope and that is in the Name of Jesus Christ.

JUSTICE, JUSTICE, JUSTICE, MY GOD WHEN WILL THERE BE JUSTICE FOR ALL?

My friends, Hands Up, I Can’t Breathe, Hands Up, I Can’t Breathe, Hands Up, I Can’t Breathe, Hands Up, I Can’t Breathe, My Father tells a story about His uncle who He was named after, this is at a time when all of  his family lived in southern Louisiana.

during this time, Blacks and Whites lived and worked together His uncle worked in partnership with his white neighbor, however differences arose between the two partners and the white man told uncle lee he was going to kill him. The disagreement seemed to have been resolved.

One day however, without warning, the white man went to uncle Lee’s barnyard with his gun and killed uncle Lee then he went to the Paschal family and announced “I killed old Lee. Yawl folks go get him and bury him!” After the burial the Paschal’s and all the relatives moved to Oklahoma, never to return.

My God when will there be justice for the black man? Centuries are passing and there has been no changes in regards to some whites not all, and their utter disregard for the civil rights of anyone who is non white My God when will there be justice?

I am sure we all have our own unique experiences we  can tell about race relations, but like David we must go into the sanctuary of God; and seek our answers. My friends, there has been injustice in America since 1619 when Blacks were dragged from their homes in Africa and brought to America, so where do we get answers?

My friends, we can get any question answered in the sanctuary of God where He abides. We have health and family issues, we need to go into the sanctuary, sin abounds in our life, and it is now out of control so we go into the sanctuary, I need a car, a refrigerator, groceries or a job, so we go into the sanctuary.

But it also must be all about Christ, we don’rt go into the sanctuary for selfish reasons, it must be what is His will for our life and How, what I am asking for, will keep my focus on Christ, and not on self. It is a travesty how a black man and woman are still looked upon as 3/5^th of a person, so we protest and march, all I agree with, by any legal means necessary.

Rep. Peter King (R-NY) states when he speaks of Eric Garner who was killed because of a policeman placing him into an illegal choke hold “If he had not had asthma and a heart condition and was so obese, almost definitely he would not have died for this,” King said of Garner.

“The police had no reason to know he was in serious condition.” On Garner repeating “I can’t breathe,” King said, “the fact of the matter is, if you can’t breathe, you can’t talk.” He even suggested that Garner may have been faking those symptoms so the police would go easier on him.” This statement from a man who obviously never goes into the sanctuary of God.

My friends, iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that endures unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” Matt.24:12-14 This is what Christ is telling us will happen right before He comes to get His faithful. So if we believe in God’s word, He will be here very soon.

So today, we must literally live in God’s sanctuary as we ask Christ and His spirit , what do I do today, where do I go, how do I react to this situation, or circumstances and who do I witness to today.

Our life must be centered in the sanctuary, in the presence of God  where He is advocating and mediating on our behalf. We look for justice while our hands are up, Pointing towards heaven as we breathe in God’s presence.

Zechariah 7:9-10 (ESV) tells us “Thus says the Lord of hosts, Render true judgments, show kindness and mercy to one another, do not oppress the widow, the fatherless, the sojourner, or the poor, and let none of you devise evil against another in your heart.”

But one day soon my friends, God will [render justice to everyone] for everything we do, including every secret thing, whether good or bad.

MY FRIENDS, SOON AND VERY SOON, THE SON OF MAN WILL BE REVEALED!!

They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriages, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. Likewise, in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed.” Luke 17:27-30 (NKJV)

My friends “the Son of Man is revealed” The word revealed could also mean, acknowledged, announced, claimed or declare, all attributes that would tell you someone is arriving and everyone will know it, and “Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man….coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” Matt 24:30-31(ESV) But before that happens “the dead in Christ will rise first.”Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds,”

Imagine, the awesome power and energy that will be exemplified on that day? The question we must ask ourselves is, “who will be able to stand before this holy Lord on that day? who will have the Fortitude and endurance from within, to stand and look up, as the Son of God comes through those clouds and with full assurance know, you will return with Him.

Who will stand and repeat over and over “Behold, this is our God, whom I have waited for, the King of Kings and lord of Lords; Let us rejoice and be glad in His salvation.” Is. 25:9 (NASB)

My friends, I am excited and I need you to feel this same excitement and passion, because our God lives and He saves. I don’t know about you, but the “Almighty God, The Great I Am, Immovable Rock, Omnipotent, Powerful, Awesome Lord.

Victorious Warrior, Commanding King of Kings, Mighty Conqueror, today I can say with all the passion and fortitude that is humanly possible, a passion that takes me to a level of unknown proportions, I can say, the only time I ever saw my Savior run,

“Was when He ran to me, and He took me in His arms, as He held my head to His chest, and Said “My son come home, as He Lifted my face and wiped the tears from my eyes and with forgiveness in His voice He said to me “Son, do you know I still love You?”

My friends that tells me and it should also tell you, our God has a passion to save, I can remember every Christmas morning as a child, my Mother at 5:00 am, taken a wooden spoon and beating a pan to wake us up. Oh the passion and excitement in her voice and face when her children would get up and she would see that smile on our faces.

That is how I picture our God my friends when He comes through those clouds, The only thing is He want have a wooden spoon and a pan, but, He will send out ten thousand times thousand and thousands and thousands of angels with a loud trumpet call and oh the smile on our God’s face when He sees the excitement on His children’s faces.

And then as we enter those pearly gates above, with family, friends, love one’s and those we have witness too throughout our life, “He will wipe away every tear from our eyes; for there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

And then “an angel will show us the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb through the middle of the street of the city;…..And night will be no more, for we will need no light of lamp or sun, for the Lord God will be our light, and they will reign forever and ever.”

“And so we will forever be with the Lord throughout the ceaseless ages of eternity.” Rev. 21:4 (NKJV), Rev. 21:1-5 (NKJV), 1 Thess. 4:16-17 (NKJV)

So my friends today. Stay focused, remain faithful, love one another and endure till the end and never forget to STUDY&PRAY

MY FRIENDS, GOD’S WORK WILL END WITH HIS FAITHFUL CHILDREN

My friends as a child of God we are no longer lost sheep, for we are God’s chosen, set apart to finish His work for “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.” We must now say we have evolved into the man or woman our God has been trying too create within us.

I dare not say, at times we will not fall, but when we fall, we get right up and focus just a little harder on God’s mandate and how much more effort on our part it will take to make it happen. Just think how great it is living in the 21st century and being a part of God’s chosen generation, commissioned to finish up His work.

And because of our passion and commitment to Christ, Satan is just as passionate and determine that we will fall in some area of our life, weather it is appetite, marriage, work, gossip, dishonesty, adultery, covertness, other gods, entertainment and we must never leave out our “socially acceptable sins.” but the list is endless.

So daily we lay prostrate before our God, as we humble ourselves, and say with no reservations the good work our Savior has started in us please “carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”

“God from the beginning choose us for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth, to which He called you by the gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, brothers and sisters, stand fast and hold to the traditions which you were taught, whether by word or our epistle. 2 Thess. 2:13-15 (KJV)

God is now speaking to our heart, He is telling His children to carry his word and Spirit within us 24/7. Remember the approach and tactics of Satan are to destroy by whatever means necessary. My friends, we must know what direction we are going before we can lead others or represent Heaven.

We must understand that Satan’s strategy for our destruction will become relentless as we get closer to Christ return, he knows his days are numbered, so he wages a vicious and maddening pursuit for each and everyone’s soul.

But as a child of the King we can only be safe in the loving arms of Christ for “He is our strength and our shield,” if we give it all to the Master, nothing can come between that relationship.

So today It’s time we all say we are ready to put off the old man or woman and focus all of our time and resources in doing the will of Christ as we become humble servants for the cause of the Master, while allowing Him to live unconditionally through our life in all areas.

The psalmist tells us in Proverbs 16:3 (KJV) “Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.” As God allows  new doors of opportunity in our life to open, we don’t ask, what is your plan for my life, we just ask where do we go from here as we spread  the good news of His gospel.

The more we live our lives in accordance to the will of God, the more of Himself He is willing to give and the more of his territory we will receive for witnessing, and the more of His Spirit He will pour out upon us. So today my friends what are you doing to increase your territory as you allow God to penetrate every area of your life.

Where does your spiritual compass take you, or the places and people where God has allowed you to have the most influence over. Remember God’s perspective for each of us is far beyond anything we could ever imagine if we would only believe.

So, as we receive God’s power we must begin to transform the world from within, which is our home, and then we go wherever He sends, one territory at a time as we all bring Christ jurisdiction from heaven, to the world and then back to the kingdom where all of his faithful children will live throughout the ceaseless ages of eternity.

MY FRIENDS, DISCOURAGEMENT IS NOT AN OPTION, AT THE THRESHOLD OF THE PROMISE LAND!!

My friends, on this Journey we travel on our way to the promise land, the insurmountable amount of mountains and valleys we encounter each day, as the tempest continues to rage and at times, seems out of control.

Each decade of our life, we can rewrite history, as situations shifts, goals and destinations abounds, people change as family and love one’s move on as you look back and picture a babe in diapers while  doing the electric slide at their wedding celebration.

The timeline seems blurred at times, but one thing we can forever count on in our lives, Two forces, both operating simultaneously with each other, but both moving in opposite directions with different agendas and different outcomes.

One force representing everything changeable, unpredictable, and distressing in our lives where all hope will be lost one day in a state of final spiritual ruin. The other force, a much more powerful one representing the sure movement of God’s wise and sovereign purposes.

In addition, it is forever transcending a deep flow of His unchanging love within us, along with the power of his Spirit transforming our lives as He prepares us for that place Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which He hath prepared for them that love him.” 1 Cor. 2:9 (KJV)

My friends, where we need to focus today is maintaining an attitude of passion that keeps us focus. We are now at the threshold of the promise land, discouragement is not an option, we must hold on, finishing this journey with our “torches still lit.” and shinning bright with the radiance of the Son who gave it all for our salvation.

We can never allow our minds to linger aimlessly, seeking after the things of this world, forgetting the prize at the end of this journey, eternal life. God’s word is a perfect curriculum for finishing, there can be no fear of the unknown for “God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” 2 Tim 1:7 (NKJV)

It becomes personal, a Child of God knows our Savior left  and will return, it must also be obvious that once we get to God’s kingdom there can be no eviction or foreclosure on the prize we have obtained. in Rev. 21:21 (NIV) John gives us a small glimpse of what God has prepared for us.

“The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate made of a single pearl. The great street of the city was of gold, as pure as transparent glass.”  My friends, discouragement only comes in when Satan tells us that our dreams, and goals for eternity are unattainable.

As Paul went before the emperor Nero he tells us “no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge. Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.” 2 Timothy 4:16 (KJV)

“loyal among the disloyal, Paul stands as God’s representative, and his voice is as a voice from heaven. There is no fear, no sadness, no discouragement in word or look. Strong in a consciousness of innocence, clothed in the panoply of truth, he rejoices that he is a son of God.

His words are as a shout of victory above the roar of battle. He declares the cause to which he has devoted his life, to be the only cause that can never fail. Though he may perish, the gospel will not perish. God lives, and His truth will triumph.” (E.G.White Acts of the Apostles)

My friends, Paul was not discouraged because of his circumstances because  He remained in the presence of our God each day since his Damascus road experience, his conversion showed him, in the presence of God is where we find what love it took for our God to love the world with such passion that He allowed His only begotten Son to die at Calvary and a Son who was willing to die, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. My friends how could the thought of that ever discourage you.

So my friends today. Stay focused, remain faithful, love one another and endure till the end and never forget to STUDY&PRAY
