MY FRIENDS, DOES GOD KNOW THAT WE HAVE ALREADY BEEN IN THIS CONDITION A LONG TIME?
“Thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ….Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. 1 Cor. 15:57-58 (NKJV)
“stedfast, unmoveable, always moving forward” even the “gates of hell shall not prevail” against God’s soldiers who are on the battle field of this great controversy between good and evil. No situation or circumstances that is not in accordance to the will of God can conquer, if we are serving the Master.
“Victory is ours says the Lord” God’s entire world is our “field of harvest” with a population of 7 billion. But friends, only a few are accepting the challenge and coming out of their comfort zone and asking, “Lord not my will, but thy will be done”
“In Jerusalem, by the Sheep Gate, a pool which is called in Hebrew, Bethesda,….lay a great multitude of sick people, blind, lame, paralyzed, waiting for the moving of the water….Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years.
When Jesus saw him lying there, He knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, John 5:2-5 (NKJV) Where I need you to focus today my friends, is where John says, “Christ knew”, yes He knows His Chosen generation also, the generation of high tech, got to have it now society, that we have already been in our condition a long time.”
My friends, what is your infirmity, why do you continue to hesitate, waiting for the next “breaking news” to occur. Christ calls you today “follow me” and become co-workers for the glory of my Father “Do you want to be made well” spiritually? “What does it profit, my [friends], if someone says he has faith but does not have works?
Can faith save him? If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit?
Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.” James 2:14-18 (NKJV)
My friends, where will we stand in that day, how will we answer God when He ask for an account of our time, money and talents, “Master, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you did not sow, and gathering where you scattered no seed, so I was afraid, and I went and hid your talent in the ground.” Matt. 25:24-25 (NKJV)
God’s cup of Indignation towards mankind is just about full. His angels are “standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds,” But because of the love, grace and mercy of our God he sees a few more of His children who still stand in the valley of decision.
But He bids us to go and take the good news of the gospel to them. We all have a part in finishing up God’s work hear on earth “So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor. 1 Cor. 3:7-8
“Life is too solemn to be absorbed in temporal and earthly matters, in a treadmill of care and anxiety for the things that are but an atom in comparison with the things of eternal interest. Yet God has called us to serve Him in the temporal affairs of life.
Diligence in this work is as much a part of true religion as is devotion. The Bible gives no indorsement to idleness. It is the greatest curse that afflicts our world…….The only way in which we can redeem our time is by making the most of that which remains, by being co-workers with God in His great plan of redemption.” (Ellen G. White Christ’s Object Lessons)”
So my friends today. Stay focused, remain faithful, love one another and endure till the end and never forget to STUDY&PRAY
