AT YOUR CROSSROAD!!!

CROSSROAD: The literal definition of CROSSROAD a “point where two roads meet,” but more often the word is used in a metaphorical way, to mean a situation, or circumstances that requires a choice that takes us down a path that we either want to go down, or may have some reservations in taken.

Or it could be a life changing decision, do I go to college or take my chances in The Armed forces. But today my friends as vessels chosen by God, we are going to use  CROSSROADS as a CRITICAL, or CRISIS point in each of our lives.

As Christ second coming in our lifetime is becoming more of a reality than ever before, since He left the first time telling us “I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.” John 14:3

Many of our decisions from day to day are trivial and irrelevant, but some are life-changing. But The most critical decision we will ever make in this short period of probation, from birth to death that we have been given is our relationship with Jesus.

Because that decision determines our ETERNAL DESTINY. And it is when we get to that CROSSROAD is when Christ personally through His Spirit bids us to follow Him for Mark 8:34-35 tells us “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me and for the gospel will save it.”

And it is at that SAME CROSSROAD when Satan and his forces also makes his presentation “All this I will give you,’ …’if you will bow down and worship me.” But our response must be as our Saviors when Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: “Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only” ‘ ” (Matthew 4:8-10).

So today as you stand at your CROSSROAD there are two signs, one pointing to our Savior Jesus Christ and eternal life and the other is pointing toward a path bound for perdition. But the choice is ours. God’s Spirit will not force us to choose Jesus Christ and eternal life.

But my friends choosing our Savior can be personally painful and difficult at times, because to choose Christ we will have to carry the cross that he carried. And as we carry that cross it confronts ungodly attitudes, carnal living, and selfish motives from within that we must eliminate from our life.

But what is good about carrying that cross is, it keeps us in line with what Jesus wants’ to do in our lives. The secret of true obedience is having a close and personal relationship with God. Any other attempts to do otherwise will only amount to failure at our CROSSROAD, and takes us away from the saving grace of Christ to the road to perdition.

But once we have that AT THE CROSSROADS EXPERIENCE. We must  inject a passion that we seek daily in the abiding fellowship and love of Jesus Christ, but my friends this can only come about in Studying God’s Word while allowing a full and complete transformation from our life to the Character of Christ.

But the main point I would like to make with you today is the GOODNESS OF CHRIST,  in reaching as far as he did to pull us to Him when we were sinking deep in sin to bring us to OUR CROSSROAD which allowed us to focus on God’s saving grace, and the promises in His Word which states.

“Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city.” Rev 22:12-14

Remember God’s Word is like a mirror to our lives. As we get to our CROSSROAD but we must realize as we look into that mirror, how far short we have fallen from the glory and purity of God and of the high standard set for us by Christ, IN FOLLOWING HIM TO THE CROSS.

So my friends if you have not got to YOUR CROSSROADS  and made a decision for Christ. time is running out Matthew tells us in Matthew 7:13-14 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate….and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. But THE GOOD NEWS my friends is “seek first his kingdom and his righteousness,”and God will make it possible if we have faith and endure till the end.” OF YOUR CROSSROAD.

WHO ME, FEAR GOD, WHY SHOULD I?

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction. Prov. 1:7

WHO ME, FEAR GOD, WHY SHOULD I? Six thousands years and man still rejects the idea that there is one greater then our finite being, beginning with Cain the first generation to deny the necessity to fear God. Jude 1:9-12 tells us

“The Lord rebuke you.” But these men mock and curse at anything they do not understand, and like animals, they do whatever they feel like, thereby ruining their souls. Woe upon them! For they follow the example of Cain who killed his brother; and like Balaam…”

And then you have Pharaoh who witnessed the power of God but still was unwilling to honor God, while allowing his entire country to be destroyed rather then acknowledge someone far more superior then what his eyes had ever seen.

And then we have the WHO ME, FEAR GOD, WHY SHOULD I? religious elect who had the privilege of  Emmanuel “God with us.” Right in there presence. And they still crucified the son of God. Oh what arrogance. Now let’s move to 2013.

We now come too the the 21st century WHO ME, FEAR GOD, WHY SHOULD I? Rapper Kanye West who mocks our Savior by wearing a crown of thorns on his head for his CD cover,

and then if that is not enough brings someone on stage to imitate Christ as he bows and curses while the audience goes wild with excitement. WHO ME, FEAR GOD, WHY SHOULD I? as Satan tells him, there is no condemnation for not fearing an unseen deity.

But Solomon the wisest man to ever live tells us in Ecc.12:13 “the fear of God is the “whole duty of man.”  But why would A lustful, lecherous, lascivious, libidinous, concupiscent. Carnal, and sensual, generation who has allowed Satan to determine there destiny FEAR GOD AND GIVE HIM ALL THE GLORY AND HONOR.

The closer we get to Christ soon coming, as Children of God, we seem to have misunderstood ourselves the meaning of “FEAR GOD AND GIVE HIM ALL THE GLORY AND HONOR” As we seem to only honor God in front of the TV, or at the mall or just gossiping on the phone.

So my friends on a scale from 1 to 10 where ten being the highest, where does your fear factor fall in the eyes of God, are you able to say daily “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man’s all. Ecc. 12:13

or, can you say “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of my knowledge…”Pro. 1:7. So friends, If we do not allow ourselves to die daily and let God take control. We also like Pharaoh, and Kanye West seem to be making the same statement. WHO ME, FEAR GOD, WHY SHOULD I?

When we fear God, there should be a passion from within telling us that what man refers to as fear, we as God’s Children refer to as love, and respect for our Creator, and what sacrifice was taken on our behalf on Calvary.

My friends to fear God should be a badge of honor or attitude we walk around with that says I fear a Crucified Savior who gave it all for me. and this attitude of love and respect is why I obey His precepts, as I also tell the world about the good news of the gospel so they will also love, and fear God.

And my prayer each day is that my faith will grow as I endure to the end through Christ. So if fearing God means that I will give it all to the Master then I am willing to give Him my all as I carry the  cross that He places before me.

Because it was the cross that he carried for me which will allow me to live throughout eternity with Him in His kingdom Yes my friends the fear of the Lord is not the opposite of love. It is a  Synonym of love. And as I look over my life from where I came.

I now know how far His arms reached out to rescue me From the clutches of Satan And so my only desire is to die daily as I let Christ live out His life in me. So if  fear is the definition of what I owe to my savior then that is how I define fear today.

Every attempt to destroy the character of Christ from those who do not fear God has failed. His critics die each day as they await there judgment before a unchanging God. “For one day we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ,” 2 Cor 5:10 But from everlasting to everlasting the Lord’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children Psalm 103:17

Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: THE SPIRIT INDEED IS WILLING, BUT THE FLESH IS WEAK!!! Matt. 26:41

Romans 7:17-25   So now it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me. For I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh. For I have the desire to do what is right, but not the ability to carry it out….So I find it to be a law that when I want to do right, evil lies close at hand. For I delight in the law of God, in my inner being,  but I see in my members another law waging war against the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members…

My friend, life seemed not so complicated before we allowed Christ to enter our life. a time when the flesh ran rampant with no limits, or boundaries. Fornication, adultery, lies, stealing, unhealthy eating habits, and the list goes on were never problematic when we were on that train bound for perdition.

And then one day, yes we had a Damascus Road Experience. A radical change took place. We became a Child of God, and it is by His grace, and love that we became a new creature. “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” 2 Corinthians 5:17

And with most of us having no physical signs that we had been in a war zone. But now the real war begins the controversy within us rages on. It may not be adultery, but it’s lust, it may not be stealing, but the idea of paying tithe becomes complicated at bill time.

So now what, the flesh still wants to control. But my friends remember we belong to God now. We must never fill we have reached the final frontier and begin to feel fatigue and battle driven “for the battle is not yours, but God’s.”

But the flesh will always have a natural inclination for attacks. So Satan waits for the opportune time. Luke 11:21-22, Says, even a strong man cannot protect his house if someone stronger comes along.“For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world.

So our heartfelt words each day must be “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me” (Gal. 2:20)

So my friends the armor of Christ, we should never be without, otherwise you find yourself completely vulnerable to Satan. Or, to use Jesus analogy from Luke 11, you cleaned your house, but never took the time to fill it.

So you allowed it to be re-occupied by the evil that you once drove out because you have not filled the house totally with Christ righteousness and love through His Word and Spirit. My friends Dying daily means just that, a daily surrender of self as Christ takes full control.

in Romans 7 Paul presents his personal struggles with the flesh of the body, and how hard it is to control the rage of sin from within. For we all recognize that the law is holy and good but we are carnal from within, bound under the sin of the flesh.

Only satisfied when it is controlled by the forces of evil. So as A Christian the battle rages daily so the flesh must die along with self daily. My friends we must be honest with ourselves today, as Paul was in his time. Our members will always weaken by outside factors if we allow them too.

In the 21 century it’s what we watch on TV, and the Internet, what we read, what we listen too, and who we allow into our lives. Paul’s discovery as should be ours is that every time we try to do good, evil is always present!

No matter what we want to do for the Lord especially in spreading the good news of the gospel, sin will present an plan. But thank God for the victory of the flesh for Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 15:56–58  The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.

My friends again, the road to the Kingdom is a narrow road, that few will succeed in finishing the course, if Christ is not the foundation and focal point of there lives. So today stay focus, and endure, For Christ is coming soon, bringing His  reward with Him to repay each of us according to our deeds.

AN UPPER ROOM EXPERIENCE WITH JESUS

“Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.” John 17:24

My friends our lives will never be transformed if somehow we are only consumed by the atmosphere of fellowship in a beautiful worship service at church, or if time permits we may be compelled to feed the homeless, or visited the sick.

No my friends, only AN UPPER ROOM EXPERIENCE can transform us. Which is a personal and heartfelt experience with Christ and His Holy Spirit that takes us on a Journey that leads to a total commitment to Christ and His will for what He wants to accomplished through us as His chosen vessel.

So “Stay always within the boundaries where God’s love can reach and bless you, wait patiently for the eternal life that our Lord Jesus Christ in his mercy is going to give you.” Jude 1:21 As you seek His presence in AN UPPER ROOM EXPERIENCE.

My friends I hope today we all seek such an experience for our “Lord, has searched each of us and  He knows each of us personally! “He knows when we sit down and when we rise up; He discerns our thoughts from afar… He searches out our path He is acquainted with all of our ways.”

So as a Child of God let’s also search out our Saviors path, and get acquainted with all of His ways Today in AN UPPER ROOM EXPERIENCE  for he is more than our Savior He is also our friend.

“Oh what a friend we have in Jesus all our sins and griefs to bear! What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer IN THE UPPER ROOM. For knowing Christ personally IN THE UPPER ROOM is what transforms our life in preparation for God’s kingdom.

And we must also remember that this EXPERIENCE is never about location, but about the EXPERIENCE, one receives JUST BEING IN THE PRESENCE OF CHRIST. It could be in the “hiding places on the MOUNTAINSIDE,  as we seek His face, and the sound of  His voice; for your voice is sweet, and your face is lovely. Song of Solomon 2:14,

Or Your EXPERIENCE WITH CHRIST could be in the solitude of a room at Home “But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.” Matt. 6:6,

Or maybe just a quiet solitude location in your church when no one is around, or maybe just driving your car late one night down a lonely road, or sometimes your EXPERIENCE WITH CHRIST can be as simple as laying across your bed as you take your countenance to a place only AN UPPER ROOM EXPERIENCE WITH JESUS can take you.

For “Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst? 1 Cor 3:16  So my friends THE UPPER ROOM EXPERIENCE WITH CHRIST are those places, and times in our life when, and where we seek  a heartfelt encounter with the presence of God or just the thought of  Him in your life will

“lead you besides the still waters. As He restores your soul; as He leads you in the paths of righteousness.” Like Christ disciples we all have different agenda’s as to why we seek an UPPER ROOM EXPERIENCE WITH JESUS.

But whatever our agenda may be, once we do have that SPECIAL EXPERIENCE WITH CHRIST, each of us will know without a doubt that we have been with the Master For “In the upper room with Jesus Sitting at his nail-scarred feet.

Oh what A rich and full communion and Fellowship so divine and sweet. For it is a place for all the weak and weary A place where we all may find real peace In the UPPER ROOM EXPERIENCE WITH JESUS  where all of our cares and heartaches cease”

today as we look at prophecy being fulfilled right before our eyes We need the things only the UPPER ROOM can provide. The hope, grace, mercy and the assurance from the Good Shepherd  that states in His Word “the Lord loves the just and will not forsake his faithful ones Ps. 37:28 “for you understand my thoughts from afar. And with all my ways you are familiar”

“And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house…” My God that MIGHTY RUSHING WIND, which was the OUTPOURING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IS WHAT I SEEK FROM YOUR PRESENCE IN MY UPPER ROOM TODAY

WOW!!! EMMANUEL, GOD IS WITH US,!!!

“The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”). Matt. 1:23

“Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting consolation and good hope by grace, comfort your hearts and establish you in every good word and work.” 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17

OUR GREATEST NEED  as a Child of God, and as a member of the Church of the Living God, is Restoration, Revival, and A Spiritual Presence In a world where sin thrives for superiority every since Satan declared in his heart:

“I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation On the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High. Isaiah 14:13-15

And so the controversy begins. And the plan of Salvation was put into place, as God revealed His plan to Adam and Eve after there fall. “I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.” Genesis 3:15

And than Man’s Greatest Need is fulfilled through JESUS CHRIST WHO IS SENT TO BE AMONG US. And “…Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name EMMANUEL, GOD WITH US” Isaiah 7:14 who is

“God’s only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 Oh what a gift He gives to fallen man “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God” WHO IS SENT TO BE AMONG US. Corinthians 5:21

But this could only be accomplished through the shedding of blood,  for “under the law almost everything is purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins.”  Heb. 9:22 SO EMMANUEL IS SENT TO BE AMONG US TO SHED HIS BLOOD IN OUR STEAD.

for “Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, CHRIST WHO IS SENT TO BE AMONG US died for us.

So now my friends I hope you understand EMMANUEL GOD WITH US. was the greatest gift, and need, for our SALVATION. The author Roy Lessin explains it best when he tells us: If our greatest need had been information, God would have sent us an educator;

If our greatest need had been technology, God would have sent us a scientist; If our greatest need had been money, God would have sent us an economist; If our greatest need had been pleasure, God would have sent us an entertainer; But our greatest need was forgiveness, and Salvation so God sent us a Savior EMMANUEL GOD WITH US.

“…For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12 Let’s now focus on what all of this means for everyone who has claimed Jesus Christ as our Savior.

My Friends, GOD IS ACTUALLY AMONG US , HIS PRESENCE, HIS CHARACTER, HIS ATTITUDE, HIS HOPE, HIS GRACE, HIS LOVE, HIS MERCY, HIS FOCUS, HIS FAITH, HIS ENDURANCE, is right here in the mix AMONG US.

And not just for a few privilege who can afford  $20,000 a plate dinners to eat with there favorite Celebrity, but access to Him is for everyone who believes and seeks His presence. Yes my friends “There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse”

“EMMANUEL, GOD WITH US,… And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the Spirit of  WISDOM, UNDERSTANDING, COUNSEL, and MIGHT, the Spirit of KNOWLEDGE and of the FEAR OF THE LORD.” Isaiah 11:1-2

And my friends each of those GODLY traits He gives to each of us if we seek HIS PRESENCE, BECAUSE  HE IS AMONG US in every situation, and circumstances. Yes my friends every mountain we climb He will be there to Climb it with us. Every breath we take GOD WILL BE WITH US, because He is the BREATH OF LIFE. As God’s children we have His RIGHTEOUS, AND HOLY DNA John tells us in 1 John 3:1-2 “See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Beloved, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is.” BECAUSE GOD IS ALWAYS WITH US AND WILL BE WITH US THROUGHOUT THE CEASELESS AGES OF ETERNITY IF WE STAY FOCUS, BELIEVE, AND ENDURE to the end.

So my friends today. Stay focused, remain faithful, love one another and endure till the end and never forget to STUDY&PRAY

“ALMOST THOU PERSUADEST ME TO BE A CHRISTIAN.”

The famous words of Agrippa, Speaking to God’s chosen vessel Paul after listening to him speak about the saving grace of Christ “ALMOST THOU PERSUADEST ME TO BE A CHRISTIAN.”  What a sad scenario for Agrippa. and also the majority of Christians who are able to say LORD LORD with no conviction.

My friends we sit in our various churches each week, the appeal is given for a show of hands, or a move to the alter down front if one is convicted to give it all to the Master. We often respond in one way or the other motivated usually by the surroundings we find ourselves in when the Spirit is appealing to everyone for a decision.

To most this is adequate enough, what else should be required for a person’s conversion. You figure, I am a faithful trustee, deacon, or deaconess. I am liberal in my given, I am perfectly satisfied with the direction I am heading in life for

“I am rich, and have gotten riches, and have need of nothing;” The filling is I understand what is required of God, with the attitude that one’s position or status should satisfy any real need for alarm, or a real relationship with Christ.

But my friends “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man; But the end thereof are the ways of death.” Prov. 4:12  if we go to the parable of the wheat and tares in Matt 13 24:30 they both look the same the difference is Wheat is a marketable crop, and tares are just weeds with no redeeming value.

But to keep from pulling up the good wheat with the tares they are allowed to grow together until harvest time. So it is with everyone who calls himself a child of God some will never become completely convicted by Gods Spirit

“having a form of godliness but denying its power. ……always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.” 2Tim 3:5-7 They look like A Christian who has died to self and given it all to the Master until they reach the threshing floor.

…The threshing floor is a place where the seeds are separated from the vine. the Master’s winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor, gathering his wheat into the barn and burning up the chaff with unquenchable fire.” Matt 3:12

Today Christ is at the threshing floor we are all being separated as judgment goes on daily in the courts of Heaven. One day “He will render to each one according to his works: As the final days of this life history are being played out it will be a painful time in a Christians life who is determine to give it all to the Master  for

“The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.” Romans 8:16-17 PROVIDED WE SUFFER WITH HIM  is the key words my friends.

“But he that endureth to the end shall be saved.” But to many to have been so close to Eternal life. Its like being at third and goal you are behind by only four points with seconds on the clock you must go for it or time will run out.

The ball is snapped you hand it to your running back and he is stopped before he gets across. You lose the game. If you would have had just a little more time. My friends time is running out for each of us we are in the fourth quarter with seconds to go.

We must decide now our destiny, God’s Spirit pleads with us we can’t continue to say “ALMOST THOU PERSUADEST ME TO BE A CHRISTIAN.” My friends decide today to “lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith,…” Romans 12:1-2 And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbor as thyself. And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.” Luke 10:25:28 My friends We have his Word we have His Spirit.  “Now therefore fear the Lord and serve him in sincerity and in faithfulness.” Joshua 24:14

HOW EASY IS IT TO BELIEVE A LIE?

At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.  See, I have told you ahead of time. Matt 24:23-24

A train of cars was shown me, going with the speed of lightning. The angel bade me look carefully. I fixed my eyes upon the train. It seemed that the whole world was on board, that there could not be one left. Said the angel,

“They are binding in bundles ready to burn.” Then he showed me the conductor, who appeared like a stately, fair person, whom all the passengers looked up to and reverenced. I was perplexed and asked my attending angel who it was. He said,

“It is Satan. He is the conductor in the form of an angel of light. He has taken the world captive. They are given over to strong delusions, to believe a lie, that they may be damned. This agent, the next highest in order to him, is the engineer,

and other of his agents are employed in different offices as he may need them, and they are all going with lightning speed to perdition.” I asked the angel if there were none left. He bade me look in an opposite direction, and I saw A LITTLE COMPANY traveling a narrow pathway. All seemed to be firmly united, bound together by the truth, (E.G. White Early Writings)

THEY ARE GIVEN OVER TO STRONG DELUSIONS, TO BELIEVE A LIE. those are the key words my friends. “For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many” Matt: 24:5 My friends today How is YOUR SPIRITUAL IMMUNE SYSTEM.

Do you allow self to die daily as you allow the transforming power of the cross to place into effect defenses through God’s Word and Spirit that will fight off Satan and his delusion of lies.  Remember my friends To function properly with the saving power of Christ, YOUR SPIRITUAL IMMUNE SYSTEM must be able to detect a wide variety of  abnormal condition that Satan attempts to spread in our lives.

Most of the time they are in the form of mental images which becomes the blueprint, of how we live our lives from day to day. In today’s society it is usually in the form of  TV AND the INTERNET.  Between our work schedule’s, family, hobbies, friends and our Churches, our minds are already in overload. And then Satan brings one more element into the picture, which he calls a relaxing evening in front of the TV or INTERNET.

And once our minds our occupied with Satan’s foolishness, we tend to forget about the love, grace and mercy of a risen Savior who gave it all for our Salvation. My friends if our goal is to be in God’s pure and holy kingdom one day, we must begin to eliminate whatever is in our lives that destroys our SPIRITUAL IMMUNE SYSTEM and allows our minds to be GIVEN OVER TO STRONG DELUSIONS, TO BELIEVE A LIE.

Today we must be honest with ourselves, and face the fact that television IS ONE BIG LIE IN ITSELF, which allows a persons mind to be easily manipulated by government and corporate advertisers. Remember Satan’s only desire is to control our minds each day which in the end only eliminates us as a child of God and keeps us from entering Gods kingdom.

As we move closer and closer to Christ soon return. Satan weakens our SPIRITUAL IMMUNE SYSTEM more and more with the things of this world, but we must die daily and tell ourselves We “have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me” (Gal. 2:20),

Life is too short, God gives us ample time to turn our lives over to him and not squander His precious time away in front of the TV or the things of this world that do not put CHRIST AT THE CENTER OF OUR LIVES. As Humans what we digest daily in our Mind, and Body becomes a part of us, so if we digest a lie daily we become consumed by that lie and it becomes the central part of our IMMUNE SYSTEM.

So today I ask that you give it all to the master and once you allow Him to have full control through His Word and Spirit you will never be GIVEN OVER TO STRONG DELUSIONS, TO BELIEVE A LIE. Remember “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and ONLY A FEW FIND IT.” Matt 7:13-14

INCREASE YOUR TERRITORY THROUGH ME LORD!!!

1 Chronicles 4:10 Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted his request.

I cry out today to My God in prayer. I ask that you would first bless me, and then all I ask in your name “I can do  through Christ who will strengthen me.”  And then I ask that you will increase your territory to others in my life today?

For I fill unworthy to phrase my request any other way, simply because I would never want to give anyone the impression that my partition is anything but what I want to do through you, as you go beyond my boundaries to a place that only you can take me.

For whatever territory does exist in my life it could only exist through you. Yes my Lord I ask that the spiritual compass that directs sinners towards your kingdom, allows me to become a vessel overflowing with the power of your Spirit as my circle of influence travels first,

through my home then extends to friends, family, love ones, co-workers, neighbors and then to a world that looks for hope where there is none. For as my boundaries increase my faith will increase, for I will never cease to exemplify your hope, mercy, love, and grace,

“,…through one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and…one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live. 1 Cor.8:6 And So I ask that the world around me, judges my character on those attributes along,

as I become a humble servant for the cause of the Master while allowing Him to live unconditionally through my life in all that I do or say. For the psalmist tells us in Proverbs 16:3 “Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.”

As you allow  new doors of opportunity in my life to open, I don’t ask you Lord what is your plan for my life, I just ask where do I go from here because I see your strategy, I fill where you are leading me as I move from destination to destination as I spread  the good news of your gospel.

But God I now ask for more of you, more of what you are willing to give, more of your territory, more of your Spirit, for I recognize these are the last days for“ In the last days, you say, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.” Acts 2:17

Like Solomon “Now grant me wisdom and knowledge so that I may lead these people, for who can judge this great people of Yours?” 2 Chr. 1:10  for today I will forever set the Lord before me; “because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken… You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” Ps 16:8-11

So today my friends What are you doing to increase your territory as you allow God to penetrate every area of your life. Where does your spiritual compass take you each day, is it in front of your TV, or internet.

Or does it take you out into the community to see where God leads. If you call yourself a child of God, you first must recognize WHAT IS YOUR TERRITORY, or the places, and people where God has allowed you to have the most influence.

And then ask God to allow His Spirit to lead you into NEW TERRITORIES  that will allow you to  represent his agenda as we all begin to finish His commision here on earth,  but self must first die as God plans our ETERNAL FUTURE.

Because God’s perspective for each of us is far beyond anything we could ever imagine If we would only believe. So my friends we must begin to transform the world from winthin, which is our home, and then from beyond, which is the world ONE TERRITORY AT A TIME as we all bring Christ jurisdiction from heaven to our INCREASED TERRITORY.

So today let’s give Him our all, AS WE ALLOW HIS TERRITORY TO EXTEND FROM CALVARY TO OUR HEARTS as we proclaim the good news of the gospel “because the Lord has anointed us to proclaim the good news to the poor. He has sent us to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners,…to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.” Is. 61:1-3

WHAT IS YOUR COURSE OF ACTION!!!

YOUR WILL: The mental faculty by which one deliberately chooses or decides upon a COURSE OF ACTION. So my friends today what COURSE OF ACTION have you taken in regards to your Salvation.

Each of us as candidates for God’s pure and holy kingdom need to remember God will not force us to Choose Him over Satan. if we do not protest by using the armor of Christ salvation, we allow the forces of evil to take over our life, and at that point,

Satan has a legal claim to our mind and body because by our choice and only our choice we have allowed him to Be OUR MASTER, and not God. And God will never overrule a person’s COURSE OF ACTION. ‘That’s why it is important to first know who we are in Christ.

John 1:12 tells us “But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become CHILDREN OF GOD.” So if I understand that text correctly my faith in a Crucified Savior gives me the right to be a Child of God.

Oh what love, that He would give such A RIGHT to a wretched sinner like me “amazing grace how sweet the sound” Another step in our COURSE OF ACTION should be to know Our RIGHTS and PRIVILEGES once we have established ourselves as a Child of God.

Psalm 8:4-6. tells us “What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him? For You have made him a little lower than the angels, And You have crowned him with glory and honor. You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet.”

You mean all that is good that my God has created I have dominion over and a RIGHT TO. Wow this is amazing. And then I believe the most important aspect of our COURSE OF ACTION should be to know what power, and authority do we have as Gods children against Satan and the forces of evil.

My friends as we follow the word of God we should understand that Satans motives are only to keep us blinded with what his world which is bound for perdition deems is right and acceptable, for in 2 Corinthians 4:4 it tells us

“whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.” Well my friends this is where it really gets good. Paul tells us in

2 Corinthians 10:4-5 “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.

So if I get this right. As Christians and believers in Jesus Christ and Him crucified if we ”Walk in the Spirit, we shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.” Galatians 5:16-17

Also James tells us in James 4:7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” Oh my God what a COURSE OF ACTION for His Children. WALK IN THE SPIRIT AND SUBMIT TO GOD in other words

“take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” My friends as I read the Word of God I can see that if we just follow a step by step COURSE OF ACTION that our Savior has laid out for us

“the Lord will always deliver us from all evil and will bring each of us into his heavenly Kingdom. To God be the glory” My friends “Satan well knows that all whom he can lead to neglect prayer and the searching of the Scriptures, will be overcome by his attacks. Therefore he invents every possible device to engross the mind. But my friends Neither wicked men nor devils can hinder the work of God, or shut out His presence from His people, if they will, with subdued, contrite hearts, confess and put away their sins, and in faith claim His promises.”(E.G.White The Great Controversy)

“not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.” Zechariah 4:6.”The eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and His ears are open unto their prayers. . . . And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?” 1 Peter 3:12, 13 MY FRIENDS JESUS CHRIST AND HIM CRUCIFIED MUST BE EACH CHILD OF GOD’S  COURSE OF ACTION IF YOUR DESIRE IS TO MAKE HEAVEN YOUR HOME ONE DAY

IN THE PRESENCE OF OUR FATHER

Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.”Luke 17:20-22

Afterward Moses and Aaron went in and told Pharaoh, “Thus says the Lord God of Israel: ‘Let My people go…..’”And Pharaoh said, “Who is the Lord, that I should obey His voice to let Israel go? I do not know the Lord, nor will I let Israel go. Ex. 5:1-2 Then Pharaoh said to him, “Get away from me! Take heed to yourself and see my face no more! For in the day you see my face you shall die!” ex. 10:28 But Moses knew dying would  have no affect on them because they were  IN THE PRESENCE OF OUR FATHER

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king. But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up.” Daniel 3:16-18 because we are IN THE PRESENCE OF OUR FATHER

As Paul went before the emperor Nero “no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge. Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.” 2 Timothy 4:16, “loyal among the disloyal, Paul stands as God’s representative, and his voice is as a voice from heaven. There is no fear, no sadness, no discouragement in word or look. Strong in a consciousness of innocence, clothed in the panoply of truth, he rejoices that he is a son of God. His words are as a shout of victory above the roar of battle. He declares the cause to which he has devoted his life, to be the only cause that can never fail. Though he may perish, the gospel will not perish. God lives, and His truth will triumph.” (E.G.White Acts of the Apostles) No my friends Paul did not fearNero, because  He was IN THE PRESENCE OF OUR FATHER

Then Pilate said to our Lord and Savior, “Are You not speaking to me? Do You not know that I have power to crucify You, and power to release You?” Jesus answered, “You could have no power at all against Me unless it had been given you from above. Therefore the one who delivered Me to you has the greater sin.” John 19:10-11 Jesus’ focus was not on the power of the government, but on the will of  His Father and the cross. He stood before Pilate in complete confidence, because  He was IN THE PRESENCE OF HIS FATHER

As we listen to the characterization of the individuals above What was it that liberated Moses, the three Hebrew boys. Paul, and our Lord and Savior, from the fear of man and gave them such feeling of determination  and confidence even when intimidated and threatened with death being there only option?

Well with this restricted mind of mine It seems that they always had a constant awareness of  GOD’S PRESENCE in all that they did for Him. Oh such awe BEING IN THE PRESENCE OF OUR FATHER “which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.” My friends when we as mere mortals take a moment to just focus on what those words mean and what redeeming power IN THE PRESENCE OF OUR FATHER has, on each of us.

It is then when the solemn covenant when Christ stated to His disciples which is a promise to each child of God becomes real to us “In My Father’s house are many mansions;  if it were not so, I would have told you.

I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.” IN HIS PRESCIENCE THERE YOU MAY BE ALSO.

My Friends I ask you today to please seek God’s Spirit Please seek HIS PRESCIENCE for one day soon ye may “be brought before governors and kings for my sake…Matt. 10:18 “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.”Matt:24:9 My friends only if you are IN THE PRESENCE OF OUR FATHER will you be able to endure to the end and live IN THE PRESENCE OF OUR FATHER throughout the ceaseless ages of eternity
