MY FRIENDS, IT HAS “NEVER ENTERED INTO THE HEART OF MAN WHAT GOD HAS PREPARED FOR US”

MY FRIENDS, IT HAS “NEVER ENTERED INTO THE HEART OF MAN WHAT GOD HAS PREPARED FOR US!!!”

God’s pure and holy kingdom. The faith, focus, love, humility, and endurance, each of us must develop within our character to make it to the end of this journey and be able to say I made it, the journey was rough but I endured.

CalmWhen “Jesus will raise His mighty, glorious arm, [and] lay hold of the pearly gate, [as He] swings it back on its glittering hinges and says to us, “you have washed your robes in my blood, stood stiffly for My truth, enter in.”

“Then as we march in [we know] that we have a perfect right in the city…….We try to call up our greatest trials, but they looked so small compared with the far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory that surrounds us that we cannot speak them out, and we all cry out, “Alleluia, heaven is cheap enough!

we then touched our glorious harps and make heaven’s arches ring…. Then we see the most glorious [mansions], most glorious to behold….”we see A field full of all kinds of flowers, and as we pluck them, we cried out, “They will never fade.”

Next we see a field of tall grass, most glorious to behold; it was living green and had a reflection of silver and gold, as it waved wpid-hp-main-261x300proudly to the glory of King Jesus.

Soon we heard Christ lovely voice, saying, “Come, my people, you have come out of great tribulation, and done My will; suffered for Me; come in to supper, for I will gird Myself, and serve you.” We shout, “Alleluia! glory!” (From the writings of E.G. White)

My friends, No matter how that heavenly realm Christ has told us He has gone to prepare for his faithful Children, is defined. That place “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” 1 Cor 2:9 (NKJV)  it will “never enter into the heart of man

And what makes this so great, He will not send for us, our personal God is going to personally come and escort us to our new home “I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.” John 14:3 (MKJV)

Mr friends I like the part that says what we will be experiencing and seeing has never “entered into the heart of man” or ever will until we see it for our self throughout the ceaseless ages of eternity.

4420947445_c9ddb0c017We will never have to experience again the pain and suffering, trials and tribulation, death and destruction, sickness and disease, along with all of the things on this earth that the god of this world has put us through for the last 6000 years.

But once again, where is your faith Christ tells us in Matt. 17:20 (HKJV) for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”

And how hard are you willing to work to live in a place that has never “entered into the heart of man” A vision can never do justice to the reality of what God Has prepared for his faithful children who will endure till the end.

This pass Sunday I was at a funeral of one of the much loved and respected Patriarchs of our church, such A beautiful and rapture02wonderful life he lived always serving God, always asking God not my will but thou will be done.

Oh what a great feeling the family must have felt, hearing the words of love, as each individual who spoke recognized he was always working and looking for Christ soon return. My friends he will be one of the first to see Christ when He returns.

He will be one of the first to see that heavenly abode when Christ will “raise His mighty, glorious arm, [and] lay hold of the pearly gate, [as He] swings it back on its glittering hinges and says, “you have washed your robes in my blood, stood stiffly for My truth, enter in.”, But what if Christ comes right this minute, my friends can you say you will experience the same.

MY FRIENDS, DO YOU KNOW WHOM YOU HAVE BELIEVED?

MY FRIENDS, DO YOU KNOW WHOM YOU HAVE BELIEVED?

rembrandt-apostle-paul-in-prison-750x914“For this reason I also suffer these things; nevertheless I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day.” 2 Tim. 1:12 (NKJV)

Isn’t it something about Paul’s writing when we read it, it just takes us to another level on this journey Christ has placed us on Paul is pretty sure his day’s on this earth are numbered, Nero was so possessed by the god of this world he probably had the guillotine right out side the window of his jail cell if he had a window.

Nero’s words probably went something like this, Just the thought of him knowing he will die, but not knowing when he will die will either drive him mad or it will inspire him to recant this notion of a son of God who walked among us.

My friends, I need you to focus today on what Paul is saying while he is in jail with Satan trying to get him to waver. “for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day”

I pray daily for such a commitment of faith, what can man do to the body Ms.White tells us “Soon the night of trial and sufferingimages would end, and then would dawn the glad morning of peace and perfect day.

The apostle was looking into the great beyond, not with uncertainty or dread, but with joyous hope and longing expectation. As he stands at the place of martyrdom he sees not the sword of the executioner or the earth so soon to receive his blood; he looks up through the calm blue heaven of that summer day to the throne of the Eternal.” (Acts of the Apostles pp 511-512)

Paul also tells us in 2 Cor 11:16-33 (NKJV) “…….I have worked hard, been in prison frequently, been flogged severely, exposed to death. Five times I received forty lashes minus one. Three times beaten with rods, once pelted with stones.

Shipwrecked three times……. I know hunger and thirst, I have been cold and naked…“ After going through all of that  he is still able to tell Timothy “I know whom I have believed” He has no doubt he no longer looks in the mirror and sees himself, but he looks and he sees the “one whom [he] have believed”

images4In addition, nothing can make him waver oh the “passion of Christ” and oh the passion of one who Christ created in His image like you and I “But I count my life of no value to myself, so that I may finish my course and the ministry I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of God’s grace.”

Christ has given him a mandate and all he wants to do is finish it, consistent with this, this same mandate that Paul has received from God is the very same mandate that God has given to us “Go ye therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit:” Matt 28:19 (ASV)

My friends Paul’s whole life since he left that Damascus road was to stay focused on the mission and God”s will for him and through his faith he endured. That is how he was able to say “I know whom I have believed” what happen on that road to Damascus we should all find out.

Well what ever it was God has also a plan for His faithful Children starting with in the beginning. His plan for our life should prayeralways give us a reason to praise His name. The great controversy between good and evil is now going on for our Salvation or destruction.

But if our desire is Salvation, there will be times the high walls of our life will seem impossible to get over to get to the other side. But in the midst of our trials we should say “praise God from whom all blessings flow” For our life has already been planed.

And He “will keep our going out and our coming in from this time forth and forevermore.” Ps. 121:8 (NKJV) but like Paul we have to stay focused and endure as we tell our self  we “know whom we have believed

MY FRIENDS, WILT THOU BE MADE WHOLE BY THE MASTERS TOUCH?

Nov. 3, 2014

MY FRIENDS, WILT THOU BE MADE WHOLE BY THE MASTERS TOUCH?

Sometimes we delay our decisions to give it all to the Master because of fear and vulnerability, we are still hung up on the past, At_The_Pool_of_Bethesda_lg1-300x233overwhelmed by situations and circumstance of our present battles with the god of this world, battles we continue to lose, which in return gives us no hope about our situation for the future.

In addition, confusion settles in, we look at ourselves and around us to attain some glimmer of hope that’s needed to go beyond these doubts we are having. So instead of giving it all to Christ. Our solution is we sit on our mat by the pool of Bethesda for a long, long time.

Let’s go to John 5:5-7 (NKJV) “Now a certain man was there (Talking about the Pool of Bethesda) who had an infirmity thirty- eight years. When Jesus saw him lying there, He knew his condition and how long he had been there.

In addition, God needed him to exemplify his faith, as with us, into believing what He is capable of doing because He is God and christ_knocks_on_the_door_by_hdchristianimages-d4q84tv-300x164He is willing to give us what we ask in His name, if we believe. So He ask. “do you want to be made whole?”

The sick man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me.” Jesus actually ask this question of someone who has had an infirmity for 38 years “do you want to be made whole.”

Why does Jesus ask? I would say, Jesus asked this question because he knew this man had wasted 38 years of his life waiting on the movement of water, in a pool, that had no supernatural power to heal.

I can say this with full assurance, because The very source of life stood in front of him because “we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.”1 John 5:20 (ESV)

CalmHow does Christ come in one’s presence and you not recognize Him. Once again why did Jesus ask wilt thou be made whole? Is it also possible to be paralyzed for 38 years and not want to be made whole by the Master’s touch.

Maybe the man had just gotten used to his way of life. The poolside was a familiar, and safe environment. What about us as Christians have we gotten so familiar with our environment, that we don’t recognize Christ or His presence among us.

Are we spiritually sick, while at the same time, living such a comfortable and easy life that we don’t want to change or be made whole. Have we become so complacent, lackadaisical, and self-indulgent, that we have forgotten how to respond to Jesus presence as he knocks at the door of our hearts?

Why, when Christ ask the man wilt thou be made whole he did not cry out “Yes! Yes! Yes! My God Yes! I would give anything to be healed, by the touch of the Master” But His heart did not thrill with anticipation of being healed. Instead, he told Jesus his down and out hard luck story.

For 38 years he was looking for something that He could have had weather he was sick or not, life eternal. My Friends, I’m hereimages to tell you today we can all rise above any and all situations and circumstances through Jesus Christ and be made whole.

As we think of our own lives, we search for answers, and solutions to our problems, problems Christ solved over 2,000 years ago at Calvary. Friends, our Savior did it all for us so that we can received eternal life, now what will we do for Him.

“He was delivered over to death for our sins and then was raised to life “that [we] may have life, and have it more abundantly,” John 10:10 (NASB) and through our faith and Christ we will obtain peace, and hope, as we gain access into His grace and mercy. So today Christ is asking us to respond “wilt thou be made whole.”

MY FRIENDS, SALVATION, HOW HARD CAN IT BE, AND IS IT WORTH IT?

Nov. 2, 2014

MY FRIENDS, SALVATION, HOW HARD CAN IT BE, AND IS IT WORTH IT?

“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls. When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it. Matthew 13:45-46:

My friends, the kingdom of God must become real to everyone who seeks God’s Salvation more then anything the god of this pearl-of-great-price-c-36-266x300world and the forces of evil has to offer. His kingdom is priceless, and it far exceeds anything we could ever imagine.

A place our God has prepared for the faithful who will endure till the end, and “who’s robes have been washed with the blood of Jesus Christ.” Paul tells us “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”1 Cor.2:9 (NKJV)

For those who love Him, are His faithful elect, who love like the one who gave His only Begotten Son, and a Son who died for all, that selfless, sacrificial, and unconditional love. That is why Christ tells us “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.” Matt 16:26 (ESV)

Oh what love to give it all for the Master but remember Christ is our example who we must all aspire to be like, for there is no greater love “For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die.

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:7-8 (NKJV) So what is your Salvation worth to you what do you seek on this earth that compares to “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard”

But our attitude must be as that of the merchantman, willing to give all he owned for what seems priceless. To Him a pearl, to us our Salvation. Remember he sold everything, because He knew that the treasure he had found, far exceeded the value of anything he ever had, or will ever have, even His family.

“Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves their son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.” Matt 10:37 (NIV)

images4We are to give ourselves to Christ, to live a life of willing obedience to all His requirements. Abandon the idea that temporal or spiritual advantages will win for you salvation. God calls for your willing obedience. He asks you to give up your sins. “To him that over cometh,” Christ declares, “will I grant to sit with Me in My throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with My Father in His throne.” Rev. 3:21(KJV) ( E, G, White Christ Object Lessons)

In the end There will be many who are forever seeking that precious pearl, but they will never entirely surrender it all to the Master. Somehow they will always find ways to stay faithful to the things of this world. They will never allow self to completely die, so that Christ can take full control.

Therefore they never find out the true value of life eternal. They will never fully conquer ungodly ambition and their7_heaven-300x225 love for what the world has offers. never willing to take up their cross and follow Christ to Calvary.

The threshold of the promise land is as far as they want to go because to cross over will take faith, sacrifice, and endurance. But if we seek to be Heirs to Gods kingdom we must maintain a passion to claim our new found treasure.

John tells us in Revelation 21:7 (NKJV) “The one who conquers will have this heritage, and I will be his God and he will be my son [and daughter] And when we fully understand the value of what we have as heirs to the kingdom of God, We must never keep it hidden “but let it shine”!!

As we spread the good news and tell everyone I have found a treasure that no man can place a value on and his name is Jesus Christ For “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12 (NIV)

MY FRIENDS, TODAY CAN YOU SAY “NO PERSUASIVE FACT OR THEORY COULD MAKE A DENT IN MY CONVICTION”?

MY FRIENDS, TODAY CAN YOU SAY “NO PERSUASIVE FACT OR THEORY COULD MAKE A DENT IN MY CONVICTION”?

Today God  needs you to convict, as you allow His Spirit to transform you. And with a passion, as never before, give imagesit all to the Master as the final days of this world is finally drawing to a close.

The first Church after Christ ascension started with just a few faithful men and women. Through death, persecution, and a heartfelt conviction, they endured and a movement started. Our Savior is now asking the same from His 21st century church who He expects to finish his work.

Your faith and endurance today in the midst of the chaos and confusion of this earth will be binding throughout eternity, for you will forever be counted as part of the elect, God’s chosen who decided that all roads to the kingdom goes through the endurance and weight of the cross.

“Unless the Lord had shortened those days, no life would have been saved; but for the sake of the elect, whom He chose, He images7shortened the days” Mark 13:20 (NASV). The next chapter in this controversy between good and evil will soon come to a climax.

But it will first be played out in the mind and hearts of every one who claims to be a child of God, convicted by the blood of Christ. Remember my friends the harvest is approaching “But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared.

So the servants of the owner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’ He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ The servants said to him, ‘Do you want us then to go and gather them up?’ But he said, ‘No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them.

Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn” Matt. 13:26-30 (NKJV).

wheatandtareThe song by Elder T Marshall Kelly “It Takes Everything To Serve The Lord” says it all “Some want the crown But they won’t bear their cross It takes everything To serve the Lord Some want bright mansions But they won’t pay the cost ‘Cause it takes everything To serve the Lord.

It takes your hands and your head, and your heart, yes, your all, It takes everything to serve the Lord. It takes your time, and your means, and your prayers lest you fall, It takes everything to serve the Lord.” How plain and simple can the word conviction be defined by someone telling God’s children, what we must do to be saved.

My friends will you be waiting for our Savior when He comes, will you have the Character of Christ will you have a fixed and firm foundation, where “No clever argument, and “no persuasive fact or theory could make a dent in your conviction” not to give it all to Christ as you die daily and allow God’s Spirit to transform your mind, body, and character into the image of the good shepherd.

Joseph was convicted, although in a strange land, his moral Character would not waver when put to the test. The three Hebrew boys was convicted, also in a strange land to stand for Christ even when death seemed imminent.

I end once again by saying “If the angels could pull back the curtain” and you could see how close the god of this world and all imgres8who follow him are in reaching their cup of indignation, right before “Michael, the archangel who stands guard over our nation, will arise.” Daniel 12:1(NLT)

We would all tremble and weep while putting on sackcloth and ashes as we fall prostrate before God with Conviction as we Repent. Soon we want have to say “lord how long” because he will be appearing, through the clouds above but today grace and mercy is still with us.

But, His Spirit is gradually being removed from the earth and as His Spirit Goes, so does His grace. So while a few days is still on our side seek him, as you give Him your all.

So my friends today. Stay focused, remain faithful, love one another and endure till the end and never forget to STUDY&PRAY

MY FRIENDS, HOW DO WE RECOGNIZE GOD’S VOICE AMONG THE SOUND OF CONFUSION?

Oct. 31, 2014

MY FRIENDS, HOW DO WE RECOGNIZE GOD’S VOICE AMONG THE SOUND OF CONFUSION?

Webster defines conscience as; the complex of ethical and moral principles that controls or inhibits the actions or thoughts of an individual.

urlEllen White defines conscience as “the voice of God, heard amid the conflict of human passions; when it is resisted, the Spirit of God is grieved” She counsels: “The Lord requires us to obey the voice of duty, when there are other voices all around us urging us to pursue an opposite course.

It requires earnest attention from us to distinguish the voice which speaks from God. We must resist and conquer inclination, and obey the voice of conscience without parleying or compromise, lest its promptings cease.” (Ellen White Testimonies for the Church vol. 5 pp120 pp 69)

God tells Moses in Ex. 7:2-3 (NKJV) “You shall speak all that I command you. And Aaron your brother shall tell Pharaoh to send the children of Israel out of his land. And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and multiply My signs and My wonders in the land of Egypt. But Pharaoh will not heed you”

Moses, the voice of reason through God spoke to Pharaoh, but he chose to turn His back on God, remember there was anotherknowhisvoice Pharaoh that recognized God’s presence through Joseph 400 years earlier. But we all make choices weather good or bad, or life and death.

To serve God, our choice. Remember God will not take away our options. But, let’s not get it wrong their is an unpardonable Sin “Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.” Matt. 12:31 (NKJV)

But my friends, what we must understand, God does not turn his back or leaves us, it is His Children who repeatedly tells Him over and over that the god of this world has a better plan for their life, one that promises fame and fortune, so we tell God, we  no longer need redemption.

“There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” Proverbs 14:12 (KJV) The more time we spend intimately with God and His Word, the easier it is to distinguish God’s voice and His leading in our lives, from the forces of evil and the confusion of this world.

imagesEmployees at an airport are trained to recognize counterfeit ID’s by studying genuine ID’s so closely from various states, and countries, that it will be unimaginable not to recognize a fake one, simply because they have studied diligently the real from the fake.

And as a child of God we should be so familiar with God’s Word, that when God does speak to us or directs us through His Spirit that it will be absolutely clear that it is God’s voice who we here. And in so doing, it will verify in our minds, any, and all, truth from error.

In addition, at times we must shut out the world because how can you distinguish God’s voice among the confusion of the world if our TV and computer and tablet and radio and cell phones are what we live by 24/7

“And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” when you turn to the right or when you turn to imgres11the left.” Is. 30:21 (ESV) My friends it is impossible to here God’s voice in the midst of chaos and that is exactly what the god of this world has manufactured in the place of a genuine relationship with God through all of our technology which keeps us from hearing that still small voice among the storms of this life.

My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me” John 10:27 (KJV) But we must “be still and recognize the  counterfeit, from the one who Gave His only Begotten Son and a Son who “Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.” Phil 2:8 (NASB)

And His willingness to die on that cross allows us to hear His voice in the midst of confusion and receive life eternal in a place that “no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived…” 1 Cor. 2:9 (NIV)

HIS LAW IS THE GREAT STANDARD OF RIGHT, AND WITH IT EVERY ACT OF OUR LIFE MUST BE COMPARED!!

Oct. 30, 2014

HIS LAW IS THE GREAT STANDARD OF RIGHT, AND WITH IT EVERY ACT OF OUR LIFE MUST BE COMPARED!!

“The greatest want of the world is the want of men, and women who will not be bought or sold; men and women who in their inmost souls are true and honest; who do not FEAR TO CALL SIN BY ITS RIGHT NAME;

imageswhose conscience is as true to duty as the needle to the pole; who will stand for the right though the heavens fall. HIS LAW IS THE GREAT STANDARD OF RIGHT, AND WITH IT EVERY ACT OF LIFE MUST BE COMPARED……” (E.G. White)

My friends there must be a voice of conscious from within that we just cannot ignore. “And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, INTERPRETING SPIRITUAL TRUTHS TO THOSE WHO ARE SPIRITUAL.” 1 Cor. 2:13 (ESV)

As a Child of God WE MUST NEVER FEAR TO CALL SIN BY ITS RIGHT NAME. we must never fear to turn off our TV and say; the god of this world had a part in creating that show. “I will not set before my eyes anything that is worthless. I hate the work of those who fall away; it shall not cling to me.” Ps. 101:3 (ESV)

We must never Fear to say no, when our friends tells us about something they heard, from someone, who heard it from someone else, “Let no corrupting talk come out of [our] mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.” Eph. 4”29 (ESV)

We must never fear to choose a piece of  fruit over a candy bar, for we are forever tempted to eat what suits our snackingtaste, not what’s good for us. Thus we “weaken the digestive organs, and injure the power of the digestive system to assimilate the food that is fundamental in sustaining a healthy mind and body.”

“Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God” 1 Cor. 10:31 (NKJV) My friends “HIS LAW IS THE GREAT STANDARD OF RIGHT, AND WITH IT EVERY ACT OF OUR LIFE MUST BE COMPARED” to Christ life.

So “Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves that Jesus Christ is in you? Unless indeed you fail to meet the test!” 2 Cor. 13:5 (ESV) My friends we must look at Christ and then look at ourselves, and not with the assumption that we can never reach such a high standard.

But look with the full assurance that Each moment of our life we will be striving for perfection through God’s Spirit for we “press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.” (NLT)

Consistent with this, as we move towards our goal we will help someone along the way to reach that heavenly prize also and everyday we must tell ourselves, as we also tell God, I need help this day to make my life all about you and your will.

screen-shot-2012-04-14-at-7-38-42-pmLet out eyes see what He sees and out mouths to speak for Him and not ourselves and our feet to carry us towards his kingdom and our mind to think only on “things above and not on things on this earth” and then allow us to “Consider it all joy…..when [we] encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of [our] faith produces endurance.

And let endurance have its perfect result, so that [we] may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. James 1:2-4 (NASV) while never FEARING TO CALL SIN BY ITS RIGHT NAME as we hold firm to God’s GREAT STANDARD OF RIGHT for 1 John 3:2 tells us “Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when he is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.”

In addition, make it personal tell yourself, I will not stop until I have the character of my  Savior in all things that pertain to my mind and body as I allow the Spirit of Christ, to transform me into the image of the one who gave it all for my salvation.

So my friends today. Stay focused, remain faithful, love one another and endure till the end and never forget to STUDY&PRAY

MY FRIENDS, OH THE JOY OF THE ARRIVAL!! AND WHAT DOES GOD REALLY MEAN TO YOU?

Sep 29, 2014

MY FRIENDS, OH THE JOY OF THE ARRIVAL!! AND WHAT DOES GOD REALLY MEAN TO YOU?

imagesI can remember trying to get from New York City to upstate New York to pick up a car in the shop that had broken down a week or two earlier. I started out early one morning to my destination. First the city bus, then the train that took me to the end of the line.

Then I took another bus that took me so far, then I thumbed and walked and thumbed until I saw a cab that took me to my location, OH THE JOY OF THE ARRIVAL!! What a journey from one destination to the next.

And that my friends is a child of God’s life, forever moving from destination to destination and one day soon it will all be over, and OH THE JOY OF THE ARRIVAL!! But thank God we never had to travel along, for there was and is, always a friend who takes a active role into making sure that each destination of our life only makes us stronger.

In addition, after arriving at each destination He was always there to make sure we understood that there are many more, but He prayeralso let’s us know, He will not leave us until we can see His face personally. And OH THE JOY OF THE ARRIVAL!!

My friends “If grace was a deep ocean we would all be sinking beneath the weight of the mercy,” that has brought us thus far by faith and oh the grace that forever keeps us from sinking. My friends have you figured out WHAT GOD REALLY MEANS TO YOU.

Have you figured out what His love, grace and mercy means to where you are in your life today, and  what He meant when a love one died, or the doctor said you had cancer, or when your child no longer believed in the same God you believe in, or when you just needed someone to listen, without condemning?

As we look back over our life, we can’t help but come up with reason after reason what GOD REALLY MEANS TO US. A Friend who has never left or forsaken us, He has always done what seemed like the impossible, and performed miracles.

Seeking-the-Lords-faceIn addition cast out demons, and fought battles, and healed our broken heart, and cured our diseases, and protected and guided us through the ups ans downs of our  life. So today we can all praise His name and say with no reservations GOD KNOW’S OUR STORY, because He was always there.

And today He is the center of our hope and joy because we wake up daily, and see with our eyes the sun rising, we can hear the birds singing with our ears, we have two legs to stand up in church service and wave our hands as the praise team sings.

Yes my friends, our health and strength is not what it used to be, but all of that will change soon at God’s appearing to take the redeemed back home with Him. Today we all can truly say WE ARE BLESSED AND HIGHLY FAVORED by our Lord and Savior who gave it all for us.

So “shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.  Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.  Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.  For the LORD is good and07B8E8310506474BB3C2DEBBC6E6212D his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations. Psalm 100:1-5 (NKJV)

The journey is almost over, God is just waiting  for His chosen to finish His mandate and today everyone who knows WHAT GOD MEANS TO YOU AND CAN TELL THE WORLD WITH FULL ASSURANCE  AND FROM THE BOTTOM OF YOUR HEART, are a part of His chosen.

A faithful few who daily builds up resistance through God’s word and Spirit to hold firm against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this dark world,” so that nothing will stand in the way as we endure till the end. And one day soon friends, our Savior will give us our reward personally and OH THE JOY OF THE ARRIVAL!!!

MY FRIENDS, IS IT POSSIBLE TO FIT GOD INTO OUR SCHEDULE TODAY?

MY FRIENDS, IS IT POSSIBLE TO FIT GOD INTO OUR SCHEDULE TODAY?

The foolish rhetoric of our do nothing, politicians as they sit, while the basic rights and needs of all the people they are supposed to be helping continues to move below the poverty line is appalling, to say the least.

imagesAs I look at the direction our country and the world is headed soon my friends we will all be reduced to a two class system, the have and the have not’s “A nation that continues year after year to spend more money on military defense than on programs of social uplift is approaching spiritual doom.” (Martin Luther King Jr.).

In the days of Amos, God says” “Hear this, oh you who would swallow up and trample down the needy, even to make the poor of the land to fail and come to an end,” Amos 1:4 (AMP) Sounds familiar, if not let me explain.

We now live in a nation that is led by the god of this world, whose main purpose is to bring the less fortunate down to such a low poverty level, that they will never be able to pull themselves back up, thus causing them to lose all hope.

So as a child of God, it is our responsibility to show them there is hope through Christ and the way we respond with love, to their basic needs. “Inpoor_jesus-235x300 a real sense all life is inter-related. All men are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny.

Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly. I can never be what I ought to be until you are what you ought to be, and you can never be what you ought to be until I am what I ought to be…” (Martin Luther King Jr.)

As Christians who seeks citizenship in God’s kingdom, we must individualized our stance and compassion for others as Christ did, it must become personal, It must be an individual heartfelt concern from within that only comes about by walking with Christ daily.

In addition, because of that close relationship, it gives us the capacity to love everyone, as Christ loved. But, if we go about business as usual while those less fortunate suffer, we then have decided in our heart “To accept passively an unjust system……thereby the oppressed become as evil as the oppressor”. (Martin Luther King Jr.)

images24Consistent with this, we then become contributors to the negative element that is causing our world to spiral out on control as “iniquity abounds, and the love of many wax cold”

In God’s word The rich young ruler kept all of God’s precepts, And he said to Jesus, “Teacher, I have kept all these things from my youth up.” Looking at him, Jesus felt a love for him and said to him, “One thing you lack: go and sell all you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”

But at these words he was saddened, and he went away grieving, for he was one who owned much property.” Mark 10:20-22 (NKJV)  It takes a village originated with the teachings of Jesus. But the village must be an environment in which families and individuals are supported and strengthened by each of us whose goal it is to walk the same path as Christ walked to Calvary.

Today my friends I don’t speak to the world who’s “mind is set on things on the earth, and not on things above, or to the “fool team jesus_wallpaperwho says in his heart, “There is no God.” But I speak to the Christian whose destiny is Gods pure and holy kingdom.

The bible maintains a clear position on the poor throughout its pages, and, interestingly, it has less to do with them than it has to do with us and how we treat the poor. Today Ask yourself  how can I as a Christian keep from “conforming to the pattern of this world.

And how can I transform my mind, and character as I carry out Gods will in my life as His light  shines through me to others. My friends are we ready to say “Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him,” or do we say in our heart, LORD I JUST CAN’T FIT YOU INTO MY SCHEDULE TODAY

So my friends today. Stay focused, remain faithful, love one another and endure till the end and never forget to STUDY&PRAY

MY FRIENDS, THE ROAD OF LEAST RESISTANCE, SHOULD WE TAKE IT?

OCT. 27, 2014

MY FRIENDS, THE ROAD OF LEAST RESISTANCE, SHOULD WE TAKE IT?

“With multiple crises spiraling out of control around the world, stories about the Obama presidency are taking on the air of imagespostmortems.” So now, my friends the spiraling out of control media is asking, and so is a world whose spiritual compass points to “things that are on earth, not on the things above.

“What went wrong and who’s to blame.” My friends let’s see who’s to blame. We now live in a world where the house wives of whatever city is leading in the ratings that week reality show personal are sanctioned by the god of this world and corporate advertisers to give relationship advice to write, and call in’s.

How unfortunate for the individuals who seeks their advice and follow through on it. Then we have More than 3,000 students at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill who were part of a program, that was implemented by a department head and an office administrator.

The program allowed credit for fake classes over an 18-year period that allowed the students to remain eligible to play sports.A man works at a makeshift oil refinery site in al-Mansoura village in Raqqa Then of course we have ISIS making a million dollars a day selling oil on the black market to the Syrian Regime and Iraqi Kurds, who of course are the same regime they are fighting against.

In addition, they are selling it  from a location in Turkey a country that is one of America’s allies and of course America’s Goal is to annihilate ISIS with daily bombings. So by all accounts, we are living in a world that is spiraling out of control.

A world where THE ROAD OF LEAST RESISTANCE, EVERYONE SEEMS TO BE TAKING and the road with LEAST RESISTANCE is the “wide road that leads to destruction” But as a society it is much easier to blame the president then to quote scripture which comes directly from God’s media source, His Word.

His word has been telling us close to 4,000 years that the world is spiraling out of control, and it started when Satan said “I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.” Is 14:14 (NIV)

So now we have “wars and rumors of wars……nation rising against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and famines and 6a00d83451dafb69e200e54f30d9638833-640wiearthquakes in various places. But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs [and our world spiraling out of control].

In addition, lawlessness will increase, and the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end, he, [or she] will be saved.” Matt 24 (NASB) Paul also tells us in 2 Tim 3:13 (ASVB) “evil men and impostors will proceed from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.”

Each of our bible writers was like an artist that came along and put their own unique style on the canvas of prophecy. One by one, they came, each putting their distinct, color and touch on the canvas. And one day soon, Christ will come through the clouds above and He will put the final stroke on this picture.

And oh, the beauty of the final work for “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man” that final picture My friends, and I can say with no reservation, there is no LEAST RESISTANCE way to be a part of it.

“You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the imagesaffairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier. And also if anyone competes in athletics, he is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules.” 2 Tim 2:3-5 (ASB)

And my friends, the rules never changes “”Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.” Matt. 16:24 (NIV) and that road is difficult “Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life [eternal], and there are few who find it.”

So my friends today I ask that you allow God’s Spirit to guide you as you search the scriptures from Genesis to Revelation with your focal point on Christ while asking yourself the question IS THERE A ROAD OF LEAST RESISTANCE THAT LEADS TO LIFE ETERNAL, IF NOT, THEN WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED?

So my friends today. Stay focused, remain faithful, love one another and endure till the end and never forget to STUDY&PRAY
