MY FRIENDS, ON YOUR JOURNEY, REFOCUS, HEAD FORWARD, STOP; HEAD BACK, STOP

Sep. 26, 2014

MY FRIENDS, ON YOUR JOURNEY, REFOCUS, HEAD FORWARD, STOP; HEAD BACK, STOP!!

Seeking-the-Lords-faceChrist Is a Jealous God, He wants our unrestricted attention on Him, if you seek life eternal. I just can’t serve you today, my time is limited, is just not acceptable.

A child of God must believe not only that God exists and that we are created in His image. In addition, we are to give Him all the glory and honor. Our all must be all about Him and “His will be done” “….for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Heb. 11:6 (KJV)

“Saving faith is not merely some firmly held persuasion, but an unwavering confidence in what God’s word specifically states, whether promise or warnings, a blessing for this life or for the life to come, in Gods pure and holy kingdom”. (Ben J. Elston)

But it is all about surrendering to God because we are absolute sound in our belief on every promise in God’s word not just the ones that promise us a happy life through Him “Delight yourself also in the LORD: and he shall give you the desires of your heart.” Ps. 37:4 (KJV)

But also the not so good results, if we make the wrong choices “There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof d6dbca4511381d0f0efca1744c141520.500x394x1are the ways of death.” Proverbs 16: 25 (KJV)

When we are totally dependent on God, He continually allows what seems humanly impossible to become totally possible through our faith. But my friends we must REFOCUS our PASSIONS as we keep moving to the Promise land. Because “when you have one eye on the goal, you only have one eye on the journey.”

We need to keep both eyes on the journey, that unlike any other experience in our lives, our Salvation is truly about the journey because even though the destination never changes, the terrain does, starting with death, unemployment, finances, relationships, family, and the list goes on throughout our life.

That is why it has to be a Passion from within that is placed there by God’s Spirit to finish. If you ever watch a pigeon walk you will see it can’t really see where it’s going when it is walking, so it adjusts it’s focus as it moves.

Pigeon-1It actually has to bring its head to a complete stop between steps in order to REFOCUS, HEAD FORWARD, STOP; HEAD BACK, STOP! In our spiritual journey with the Lord we have the same problem as the pigeon. We have a hard time seeing while we’re moving.

We also need to stop between steps to REFOCUS on where we are in relation to the things of this world and Gods will for us. Our walk with the Lord needs to have built into it a pattern of stops that requires a passion to continue, a passion for where this journey is taking us and a passion for the one who gave it all in-order for us to finish.

And each REFOCUS, HEAD FORWARD, STOP; HEAD BACK, STOP enables us to see more clearly God’s will for us before moving on, because my friends at every REFOCUS, HEAD FORWARD, STOP; HEAD BACK, STOP, the god of this world is telling us he has a short cut that eliminates all of the rough terrain.

“If you will only bow down and worship me.” But in the end his way will only lead to a journey of resentment, defeat and in the Calmend destruction. but my friends stay focus as you “Enter through the narrow gate [on your journey]; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.” Matthew 7:13-14 (NASB)

So continue to “keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2 (NKJV) In addition, if our Goal is the kingdom of God, then we must REFOCUS, HEAD FORWARD, STOP; HEAD BACK, STOP AS OUR FOCUS REMAINS ON CHRIST AS WE ALLOW SELF TO DIE EACH DAY.

MY FRIENDS, “WHO KNOWS WHETHER YOU HAVE COME TO THIS PLACE IN YOUR, LIFE FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS?”

Sep 25, 2014

MY FRIENDS, “WHO KNOWS WHETHER YOU HAVE COME TO THIS PLACE IN YOUR, LIFE FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS?”

My friends, this is a very exciting time to be a part of God’s army, let’s go to the book of Esther. I suggest you read the entire book  because it is a story of faith of one man Mordecai who inspired that same faith out of his cousin Esther. And by her courage, faith and devotion she saved her people from extermination.

As one of God’s chosen who is now queen in a foreign land. A land that did not know Jehovah as the true God. She now resides in the comfort of the royal courts. But her faith is now about to be stretched to the limit when Mordecai let’s her know it was ncd03093time to proclaim to the world who Jehovah is.

So after prayer and fasting, she choose to go before the king without an invitation, which could have meant death if he was having a bad day “But the plots of the enemy were defeated by a Power that reigns among the children of men in the providence of God.

Esther appealed to the king, as she ventured into his presence on behalf of her people and God, as an intercessor” (White Prophets and kings pp 601) as the words continued to vibrate in her conscious from what Mordecai had told her.

“Do not think to yourself that in the king’s palace you will escape any more than all the other Jews. FOR IF YOU KEEP SILENT AT THIS TIME, RELIEF AND DELIVERANCE WILL RISE FOR THE JEWS FROM ANOTHER PLACE.

BUT YOU AND YOUR FATHER’S HOUSE WILL PERISH. AND WHO KNOWS WHETHER YOU HAVE NOT COME TO THE KINGDOM FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS?” Esther 4:12-14 (ESV),” Remember my friends it was still the Lord’s Battle, as it had been from the beginning.

And as it is in the 21st century fast pace got to have it now society. We are His faithful, chosen ambassadors for the King of Kingsteam jesus_wallpaper and no matter where we may reside, or work, His name must be placed before all other, for, “salvation [is in no] other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12 (NKJV).

We cannot be silent about who we serve. When you read the book of Easter you will see there is a happy ending. but a child of God’s life is destined for a happy ending no matter what situation or circumstances, trial or hardship we may encounter while we are foreigners in this foreign land.

But our happy ending requires our faith and grace to abound beyond anything we could have ever imagine and with no reservations we must “know that the testing of our faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that [we] may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.” James 1:3-4 (NASV)

prayerMy friends we must begin to recognize the urgency in God’s agenda, in regards to the closeness of His second coming, and what requires our passion and dedication, with what time we have left.

If we are God’s Children, and we have allowed Gods Spirit and Word to transform our Character in the likeness of Christ than our time should only be valued in relationship to what God wants done in our lives on this Journey he has placed us on.

And if that is not the criteria in how we value our time and what we do each day, than we must re-evaluate how serious we are about our Salvation and eternal life. Jesus as our example never created such a hectic schedule that He lost sight of what His mission was as He approached Calvary, which was doing the work of His Father.

As His Chosen generation “WHO KNOWS WHETHER YOU HAVE COME TO THIS PLACE IN YOUR, LIFE FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS?” Our love for God is absolute when we remain focused and make our time spent in spreading the good news of the gospel a passion that transcends into an urgency to see souls saved for the kingdom of God. Psalms 90:12 teaches us “to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.” FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS”

MY FRIENDS, DID YOU KNOW CHRIST HAS PLACED YOU ON A JOURNEY, WILL YOU FINISH, OR NOT?

Sep. 24, 2014

MY FRIENDS, DID YOU KNOW CHRIST HAS PLACED YOU ON A JOURNEY, WILL YOU FINISH, OR NOT?

What can angels of heaven think of poor helpless human beings, who are subject to temptation, when God’s heart of infinite love yearns toward them, ready to give them more than they can ask or think, and yet they pray so little and have so little faith? The angels love to bow before God; they love to be near Him. They regard communion with God as their highest joy; and yet the children of earth, who need so much the help that God only can give, seem satisfied to walk without the light of His Spirit, and the companionship of His presence. (E.G. White, Steps to Christ, 94.)

LakeIsabel115721My friends Christ has placed each of His Children on a journey, unique to each of our Character’s. The question we must ask our self , how do we finish a Journey, if we did not realize we were on one. Well, one of the definitions Webster gives for a journey is, it is a “PASSAGE or PROGRESS from one stage to another”

Consistent with this, when we say PROGRESS, that would imply a constant movement in a certain direction, either backward or forwards. And as a child of God that should only mean one direction, forward, as we “lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, [as we] run with patience the [JOURNEY] that is set before us,” Heb. 12:1 (KJV)

We who should be seeking the presence of God daily, sometimes treat Him as an out-of style garment we cast away, when it is no longer beneficial to our needs. Yes the all knowing, all powerful, ever present Creator of the heavens and the earth, “we seem content to walk without the light of His Spirit.”

In addition, He is the one who has set this journey before us which started at Calvary when Christ died for us “While we were stil254801_366859016716029_370370606_nl sinners,” Yes He is the one who paid for our Salvation and has given us the opportunity to finish this journey.

But If God had never told His children “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.” And then “you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.” while “making disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,”Luke 9:23 (NIV)  Acts 1:8 (ASV) Matt. 28:19 (ASV)

Then this Journey would be optional and we could spend God’s precious time in front of the TV, or some other insignificant time consuming activity that has nothing to do with our salvation.

But “BREAKING NEWS” my friends God’s word tells us “As long as it is day, we must do the works of him who sent us. Night is coming, when no one can work.” John 9;4 (NIV)

So today, let’s stay focused on the roadmap our Savior has given us to finish this Journey, and once again IT MUST BECOME A PASSION that tells us, no mater what circumstances or situation that life presents before us on this journey weather smooth or imagesrough terrain, weather dark sky’s, or sunny.

Our mandate remains fixed, never wavering under any circumstances. Yes we must “proclaim the good news of the gospel throughout the world as we near the end of our journey. So today Let’s give it all to the Master and finish up His work.

In addition, when Christ comes. As Peter tells us “when the Chief Shepherd appears, [we] will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away” 1 Peter 5:4 (KJV) My Friends, we only have a short time to do Gods will, and to rescue souls on a journey the god of this world has placed them on that leads to perdition.

So, let us all say as Paul says, “we are not ashamed of the gospel of Christ.” And we will proclaim it, until we see our savior’s face and He tells us ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’

MY FRIENDS, “NOW TO HIM WHO IS ABLE TO DO EXCEEDINGLY ABUNDANTLY ABOVE ALL THAT WE ASK OR THINK”

Sep. 23, 2014

MY FRIENDS, “NOW TO HIM WHO IS ABLE TO DO EXCEEDINGLY ABUNDANTLY ABOVE ALL THAT WE ASK OR THINK”

“Nothing that in any way concerns our peace is too small for Him to notice. There is no chapter in our experience too dark for Him to read; there is no perplexity too difficult for Him to unravel…. The relations between God and each soul are as distinct and full as though there were not another soul upon the earth to share His watchcare, not another soul for whom He gave His beloved Son. (Steps to Christ, 99, 100.)

CalmMy friends has it ever occur to you how much our God want’s to react to our daily request, and He wants to do it “according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,  may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

NOW TO HIM WHO IS ABLE TO DO EXCEEDINGLY ABUNDANTLY ABOVE ALL THAT WE ASK OR THINK, ACCORDING TO THE POWER THAT WORKS IN US,” Eph. 13:16-20 (ASV)

Friends, I need us to make it personal today. Let’s focus on self, YES I SAID IT, SELF! But not the self that…..[is] weakened by the flesh,….Romans 8:3 (NIV) but the “self” that has “been crucified with Christ, [the self that] no longer lives, but Christ [now reigns supreme]”.

That “self” let’s focus on, for that “self” is the “self” God want’s to react to “according to the riches of His glory,” because He is gifts.of.holy.spiritable to fulfill our “need’s exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think.

For that “self” “are [His] chosen…, a royal priest or priestess, holy…, an peculiar…; that [we] should show forth the praises of him who has called [His child] out of darkness into His marvelous light;” 1 Peter 2:9 (NKJV) As God’s Chosen we must become “overwhelmed with a sense of the goodness of God.”

And what He is willing to do “For as the heavens are high above the earth, So great is his love and kindness towards them that fear him.” Ps. 103:11 (ASV) So as we seek God’s presence with a passion, our Savior never ceases implementing the miracle of redemption in our lives.

urlJohn 15:7 (NKJV) says If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. The good news today! There is a king and a Lord, who is named Jesus Christ. And He has declared that the free gift of salvation along with every blessing recorded in His word is available to His Children for the asking.

So humbly and sincerely ask now, and receive the blessings that God the Father has ordained, if we believe, since the beginning of time. My friends, Life will always bring it’s challenges, but there is always God’s blessings.

Sometimes those blessing could just be the awesome knowledge of knowing that our faith and endurance is stronger than we thought, simply because we gave it all to the Master, or that blessing could just be the teaching of God’s love, grace and mercy in a way that gives us hope and assurance too finish this journey He has placed us on.

Or it could be when the fierce storms in our life continues to rage out of control, in the still of the night, the blessing of that stillteal-exceeding-abundantly-a small voice as we lay prostrate before Him that just says “I will never leave you, or forsake you.”

My friends, Each faithful follower of Christ is born with a unique bond to God because He is our “Father which art in heaven,” and our creator. But as time passes, and we become more acquainted with the god of this world and more attached to earthly things, our bond with God weakens, and is eventually broken.

“But God stands at the door [ He knocks, He waits] if any man [or woman] hear [His] voice, and opens the door, [He] will come in” and “DO EXCEEDINGLY ABUNDANTLY ABOVE ALL THAT WE ASK OR THINK” “ACCORDING TO THE POWER THAT WORKS IN US”

So my friends today. Stay focused, remain faithful, love one another and endure till the end and never forget to STUDY&PRAY

BREAKING NEWS! THE BLOOD OF JESUS, IT WILL NEVER LOOSE ITS POWER TO SAVE!!

Sep. 22, 2014

BREAKING NEWS! THE BLOOD OF JESUS, IT WILL NEVER LOOSE ITS POWER TO SAVE!!

“And from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of kings on earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood.” Rev. (1:5 ESV)

images35“The first reference in the New Testament to the blood of Christ, Christ states Himself at the last supper: ” For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.” Matt. 26:28 (NKJV).

“There are at least 43 references to the blood of Christ in the New Testament, all testifying to its great importance in the salvation and daily life of the believer.” Judas the betrayer spoke of it as “innocent blood”

“Then Judas, who betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought back the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders, saying, I have sinned in that I betrayed innocent blood.” Matt. 27:4 (ASV)

Peter tells us it’s “precious” in 1 Peter 1:19 (ASV) “But with precious blood, as of a lamb without spot, even the blood of Christ ” Paul calls it theblood-of-christ-610x351 purchasing blood in Acts 20:28 (ASV) Take heed unto yourselves, and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit hath made you bishops, to feed the church of the Lord which he purchased with his own blood.”

Paul also calls it the redeeming blood in Eph. 1:7 (ASV) “in whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,” John calls it the cleansing blood. 1 John 1:7 (ASV) “ but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.”

Consistent with this, “There is a stream that flows from Calvary, A crimson tide so deep and wide. It washes whiter than the purest snow.” Its saving virtues ever are the same, It cleanseth still, and always will. Poor sinners who will seek the Savior’s face Shall know His wondrous grace. No other fountain can for sin atone But Jesus’ blood, O precious flood! And whosoever will may plunge therein, And be made free from sin.”

JesusOnlyWayMy friends as the Master takes full control in the transformation of our Character, as He eliminates the dirt and mire that has accumulated throughout the years, it is only the blood of Christ that purifies, only his blood that saves and redeems us from the penalty of sin.

“But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more,” Rom 5:20 (ASV) In addition, that text tells each of us that was “born in sin and shaped in iniquity” that we cannot out sin the grace of God, so no matter how far the god of this world has taken us, God’s hand can reach just as far to save us, as He places us on a straight course to life eternal.

“The last reference in the Bible to the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ tells us “And they overcame Him [or Satan] by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Rev. 12:11 (NKJV)

In this text, the blood is the overcoming blood, enabling believers to withstand the deceptions and accusations of Satan. And imageshow does the blood and death of our Savior make the Dirt and mire of A sinner’s character A candidates for God’s pure and Holy Kingdom.

Well His death at Calvary summarizes Christ infinite love for everyone. And once we as His Children  have been washed in His blood, the believer then “dies to self and lives a new life through Christ” while asking Christ “what must I do to be saved” and not my will but thou will be done”.

And each day as we purify our lives by the standard of Christ we will stay focus on what Jesus is trying to do in our lives, as we recognize that to be able to stand before our Savior one day with a pure white robe that was washed in His blood, we must have the faith, endurance and passion to maintain a close and personal relationship with Him daily, while understanding that THE BLOOD OF JESUS, IT WILL NEVER LOOSE ITS POWER TO SAVE.

MY FRIENDS, WITH THE LORD HELPING,HAVE WE ALLOWED HIM TO FIGHT OUR BATTLES?

Sep. 21, 2014

MY FRIENDS, WITH THE LORD HELPING,HAVE WE ALLOWED HIM TO FIGHT OUR BATTLES?

imagesWe first meet Caleb, a young man forty years old, a leader of the tribe of Judah. The Lord gives Moses this directive: “Send some men to explore the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the Israelites…..” Numbers 13:2 (KJV)

So Caleb, Joshua, and ten other leaders from each tribe are sent on a “reconnaissance mission into Canaan.” But my friends this was only a formality, God had already given them the land, through a covenant with Abraham, Issac and Jacob.

But neither saw it fulfilled but through their faith is what allowed Moses and the generation of the Exodus to know God as the One who would fulfilled it. But only Caleb and Joshua out of the 12 spies knew their God and had studied his word and believed when He told Abraham.

“Go forth from your country, and from your relatives and from your father’s house, to the land which I will show you; and I will make you a great nation…….” Genesis 12:1-3(NKJV) Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, “Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it.

”But the men who had gone up with him said, “We are not able to go up against the p_0008people, for they are stronger than we.” And they gave the children of Israel a bad report..,…” Num. 13:30-33 (NKJV)

And the people believed the bad report and God told Moses they certainly shall not see the land of which I swore to their fathers,…….BUT MY SERVANT CALEB because he has a different spirit in him and has followed Me fully, 14:23-24 (NKJV)

Forty years later Joshua the other faithful spy is now leader of Israel. Caleb tells him “I was forty years old when Moses the servant of the LORD sent me from Kadesh Barnea to explore the land. And I brought him back a report according to my convictions, but my brothers who went up with me made the hearts of the people sink.

caleb_before_joshua__c-707I, however, followed the LORD my God wholeheartedly. So on that day Moses swore to me, ‘The land on which your feet have walked will be your inheritance….because you have followed the LORD my God wholeheartedly.’…So here I am today, eighty-five years old!

I AM STILL AS STRONG TODAY AS THE DAY MOSES SENT ME OUT; I’M JUST AS VIGOROUS TO GO OUT TO BATTLE NOW AS I WAS THEN. Now give me this hill country that the LORD promised me that day. THE LORD HELPING ME, I WILL DRIVE THEM OUT JUST AS HE SAID.”

My friends, after 40 years wondering in the wilderness because of someone else’s unbelief Caleb’s faith never wavered, he knew his God, he knew what he would do, he saw what the plagues did to the Egyptians, but not God’s Children.

He saw the red sea part as the Israelite crossed over and the Egyptian drowned as they attempted to follow. He ate the food that fell from heaven each day. He heard the voice of God at mount Sinai when his 10 precepts were given.

He witness God bring down the walls of Jericho that should have been done 40 years earlier, if Israel had believed. Caleb had faith in his God he had endured through it all. “But he also knew the battle was not His but the lord’s”

In addition, he tells Joshua  “BUT, THE LORD HELPING ME, I WILL DRIVE THEM OUT JUST AS HE SAID.” like Caleb our imgresFaith must not waver God tells us “if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.”

But we must hold on, forever looking above and forgetting about what this world and the god of this world has to offer as we seek the presence of God while allowing self to die daily. Because our God will “come quickly; and [His] reward [will be with Him], to render to each man, [and woman] according as their work is.” Rev. 22:12 (NIV)

My friends are you ready for Christ return, “WITH THE LORD HELPING,HAVE YOU ALLOWED HIM TO FIGHT YOUR BATTLES?” “For He knocks. If anyone hears please open the door of your heart and let Him in”.

So my friends today. Stay focused, remain faithful, love one another and endure till the end and never forget to STUDY&PRAY

WHAT WILL IT TAKE TO STRENGTHEN OUR FAITH IN GOD, AS WE PREPARE FOR THE GREAT TRIBULATION/TIME OF JACOB’S TROUBLE?

Oct. 20, 2014

WHAT WILL IT TAKE TO STRENGTHEN OUR FAITH IN GOD, AS WE PREPARE FOR THE GREAT TRIBULATION/TIME OF JACOB’S TROUBLE?

My Friends, As a Child of God, what does THE GREAT TRIBULATION mean to you? Or As a soldier in God’s army what will the-time-of-jacobs-trouble-great-tribulation-now-the-end-beginsit take to succeed as a Christian in the last days of this life’s history as we move closer to Christ soon return.

To be conquerors in God’s army, we must first allow God to control our minds, through His Spirit., and then as God’s faithful, “we [are then] crucified with Christ and we no longer live, but Christ lives in us……” Gal 2:20 (NIV)

That is why we are the “best of the best.” And as God’s chosen, with a passion, we spend time in God’s word as we seek His presence daily, while allowing our faith and endurance to keep us focus on our goal, life eternal.

In addition,we pray without ceasing, 24/7. We are also an elite group of PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY strong men and woman who’s commitment is to serve and to recruit other’s worldwide to serve as well.

As faithful warriors, we possess the single main trait to succeed in the rigorous training session for the final conflict, which is “denying a05dd5b7f1715d3d4bc56123f2578516self and taken up our cross daily and following Christ as His disciples,” Luke 9:23 (NIV)

The final words, to a warrior for God simply says “Do you have what it takes to give it all to the Master before this “GREAT TRIBULATION” starts? Because “you will be hated by all for my name’s sake. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.” Mark 13:13 (KJV)

“Those who have not yet shared in the trying experiences that attend the work in these last days will soon have to pass through scenes that will severely test their confidence in God.

It is at the time His people see no way to advance, when the Red Sea is before them and the pursuing army behind, that God bids them: “Go forward.” Thus He is working to test their faith. When such experiences come to you, go forward, trusting in Christ.

screen-shot-2012-04-14-at-7-38-42-pmWalk step by step in the path He marks out. Trials will come, but go forward. This will give you an experience that will strengthen your faith in God and fit you for truest service. (E. G. White Testimonies for the Church 9:273.)

So my friends it comes down to our faith and “TRUST IN THE LORD WITH ALL OUR HEART and do not lean on our own understanding. In all our ways [we must] acknowledge Him, And He will make our paths straight” Prov. 3:5-6 (NASB)

But, we can only trust, what we have become accustomed to placing our faith and trust on for “faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” Romans 10:17 (NKJV) Christ Himself tells us.

“But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath day: For then shall be GREAT TRIBULATION, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.” Matt. 24:20-22 (NKJV)

My friends, let’s now focus on the “Two titles which are related to the coming Day of the Lord, the TIME OF JACOB’S TROUBLE” “For that day is great, So that none is like it; And it is the time of JACOB’S TROUBLE, But he, [or she] shall be saved out of it.” Jer. 30:7 (NKJV) “AND THE GREAT TRIBULATION.

1. Notice that each one involves the concept of an unparalleled time of trouble. Unparalleled implies two things concerning the imgres8time periods involved: Since there cannot be more than one unparalleled time of trouble, their time periods must overlap.

2. These events have not transpired in the past. and 3. Regarding the timing of the “GREAT TRIBULATION”  “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.Matt 24:36 (NIV) (Bible Study Tools)

My friends are we READY FOR THE GREAT TRIBULATION/TIME OF JACOB’S TROUBLE, IF NOT, ARE WE GETTING READY BY KEEPING OUR MINDS FOCUS ON THINGS ABOVE AND NOT OF THIS WORLD, WHILE ALLOWING OUR FAITH IN GOD TO PREPARE US FOR WHAT IS ABOUT TO TAKE PLACE?

OH WHAT A LIFETIME FRIEND WE HAVE IN JESUS!!

Sep. 19, 2014

OH WHAT A LIFETIME FRIEND WE HAVE IN JESUS!!

images7“It is a wonderful thing that we can pray effectually; that unworthy, erring mortals possess the power of offering their requests to God. What higher power can man desire than this, to be linked with the infinite God? Feeble, sinful man has the privilege of speaking to his Maker.

We may utter words that reach the throne of the Monarch of the universe. We may speak with Jesus as we walk by the way, and He says, I am at thy right hand. We may commune with God in our hearts; we may walk in companionship with Christ.

When engaged in our daily labor, we may breathe out our heart’s desire, inaudible to any human ear; but that word cannot die away into silence, nor can it be lost. Nothing can drown the soul’s desire. It rises above the din of the street, above the noise of machinery.

It is God to whom we are speaking, and our prayer is heard. Ask, then; ask, and ye shall receive. Ask for humility, wisdom, CD_WhatAFriednWeHaveinJesuscourage, increase of faith. To every sincere prayer an answer will come. It may not come just as you desire, or at the time you look for it; but it will come in the way and at the time that will best meet your need.” (E.G. White Chapter 1 God Invites Us To Pray)

My friends, you mean my Best Friend is just a prayer away, if that is the case why do we hesitate to call upon Him. God tells us too “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” 1 Thess 5:16-18 (NKJV)

In addition, we must realize God is not asking us to be on our knees 24 hours a day. But our mind and body must be in an atmosphere of prayer, for our focus must be forever “on things above, not on things on the earth”

Today with no reservations I can say, and my desire is that each of you can say the same and that is “what a friend we have in Jesus all our sins and grief’s to bear! What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer!”

john-13-23-one-of-his-disciples-whom-jesus-loved-258x300Sometimes the hurt and pain of this life seems to much to bear, but we have a friend in Jesus, some days we don’t see beyond that day or know where it will lead, but we have a friend in Jesus, some days finances are as low as they have ever been in our life, but we have a friend in Jesus.

And some days we just need to talk and know someone is listening and yes we do have a friend that is always listening who cares so much that he sacrificed His own life so that we would always have someone near us who listens.

John tells us in John 13:23 (NKJV) Now there was leaning on Jesus’ bosom one of His disciples, whom Jesus loved.” Oh what a connection, Resting in the bosom of Christ!! Oh the closeness and warmth to know a sinner like you and I can be that close to the creator of the universe.

Just to Know our Savior is going to accomplish what needs to be done in our lives and we don’t need to know when He will do it, or FreeGifthow, but our FAITH AND HIS WORD TELLS US HE WILL, as we rest in His loving arms.

Today our faith must be strengthened because of the promises in his word that we live our life by that places us in God’s presence and if at any time He may see one of His children wondering, He knows to find us wherever we may be, for His presence is the only place we will find hope and comfort.

To our friend Jesus, He is exclusive and inclusive at the same time, the narrow way and the Savior of the world, the only way to salvation, yet is always there when we need a friend to hold on to.

God’s love, grace and friendship, shown most perfectly in Jesus Christ, is exactly what everyone needs if we have faith, and the good news is that it is freely given to all. It’s great news, and my friends it’s worth sharing to everyone we come in contact with.

MY FRIENDS, TO LOVE AS GOD LOVES, WHERE DO WE START?

Sep. 18, 2014

MY FRIENDS, TO LOVE AS GOD LOVES, WHERE DO WE START?

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him….” 1 John 4:7-11 (NKJV)

So we have an all knowing, all powerful God, who resides or exist in every situation or circumstances of our lives if we believe. In 59232-God-Is-Loveaddition, a God who understands the very essence of the words, selfless, sacrificial and unconditional as it relates to life and how we as humans relates to one another.

A God who gave his only begotten son  simply because of a passion that transcends far beyond our finite way of thinking. My friends, I can see why Abraham was ask to sacrifice His only son. Because to truly understand the meaning of love  you must try and feel in our finite minds what God feels when He has to make a sacrifice of love.

So He tells Abraham to “Take now your son, your only son, WHOM YOU LOVE, Isaac, and go to the land of Moriah; and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I will tell you.'”(Gen. 22:1-2)

“WHOM YOU LOVE.” Such power and passion in those three words, words that He wanted to instill into what Abraham was wpid-hp-main-261x300about to do, so that man and woman could in some limited capacity understand that the true meaning of LOVE is a passion and a feeling.

In addition, a feeling that tells a child of God from deep within that if we have faith and believe that God has made our life to be as that of a “man or woman after His own heart;” and if we have established such A relationship, then we do understand from a  human standpoint what love is, some-what.

John words in 1 John 4:8 (KJV) tells us “Whoever does not LOVE , does not know God, BECAUSE GOD IS LOVE.” And then when we receive the mind of Christ we are now measured by the life of Christ, as we become candidates for God’s pure and holy kingdom.

And this pure and genuine LOVE  can only be given to us through our faith that God’s presence controls our lives each day, as God’s love through a transformation process, refines, restores and replaces what the world deems as LOVE  with a genuine unadulterated LOVE, from who God is.

christus passion_fotoAnd if I go one day without this LOVE  that God instills into me without allowing self to Die then I begin to revert back to how the world defines LOVE. So with the mind of Christ we begin to realize through His word and spirit how far sin has taken us from understanding God’s genuine LOVE, whose knowledge and wisdom comes to all who are solid learners of his ways and works.

And as we begin to obtain a personal relationship with God, the spirit begins to implant a sanctification process that converts Gods nature and love into ours. for it is not possible for the heart where God abides, not to love as God loves, a God who gave his only son so that all humanity may have eternal life.

So my friends we now with God’s love within us, we walk like Christ, we talk like Christ, we treat others, using Christ as our imagesexample and Each Day of our lives is now spent with The one who now lives in us, and we no longer conform to the god of this world’s definition of LOVE.

So now Christ LOVE  lives in this finite mind and body, because He and His LOVE  is infinite which is now preparing our mind and bodies to live infinitely with Him. So today WHERE DO WE START TO LOVE AS GOD LOVES?

WELL MY FRIENDS, WE START NO WHERE ELSE BUT AT CALVARY, AND JESUS CHRIST AND HIM CRUCIFIED, who through our faith lives in each of us today, tomorrow, and soon to be, throughout the ceaseless ages of Eternity.

MY FRIENDS, “I DON’T FEEL TIRED, I’VE COME TO FAR, GOD HAS NOT BROUGHT ME THIS FAR TO LEAVE ME”!!

Oct 17, 2014

MY FRIENDS, “I DON’T FEEL TIRED, I’VE COME TO FAR, GOD HAS NOT BROUGHT ME THIS FAR TO LEAVE ME”!!

As much as I try an inspire each of my readers to not look back, but to keep your focus at what lies ahead, I seem too always Calmwonder back myself to a time and place, where I had no relationship with God and sin abound on every level of my life.

My friends, this journey, I should be tired, worn out and ready to say I quit, because of the dedication and endurance it takes to finish and where Satan seems to forever triumph. “But I DON’T FEEL NO WAYS TIRED, I’ve come too far from where I started from.

Nobody told me that the road would be easy, but I DON’T BELIEVE HE BROUGHT ME THIS FAR TO LEAVE ME.” Because I’ve been friendless and ridiculed, but God has brought me, I’ve been scared and lonely, but God has brought me.

In addition, I’ve been through the Storm, rain, trials, tribulation and the ups and downs of  a life that I created with the help of the god of this world, but God has brought me.

And that is why I love God selfless and unconditionally, and today I GIVE HIM MY ALL, and I hope you will do the same. For our Savior imagestells us “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matt. 11:26 (NKJV)

So if the presence of God is forever apart of us how can we ever get tired of serving Christ. Today my friends, let’s focus on 1 Kings 18 and19 “Soon the Lord’s angel woke him again and said, “Get up and eat, or else you’ll get too tired to travel.”

So Elijah sat up and ate and drank. The food and water made him strong enough to walk forty more days. At last, he reached Mount Sinai, the mountain of God, and he spent the night there in a cave.

imagesBefore all of this happens, is the biblical account in 1 Kings 18,  where Elijah through the power of God stopped the rain for 3-1/2 years. On Mount Carmel brought down fire, when the Baal prophets could not. And then he kills the 450 Baal prophets on that same mountain.

Then through the power of God makes it rain. Then “Ahab the king, told his wife Jezebel what Elijah had done, so she sends a message to Elijah: “You killed my prophets. Now I’m going to kill you! I pray that the gods will punish me even more severely if I don’t do it by this time tomorrow.”

Elijah is terrified, even after what He has accomplished through Jehovah. So He runs, and this is the part of the story where we are now, he is being feed the food of heaven by the angels of God. Food with the power to sustain him on a 40 day journey on foot.

My friends when we allow the Spirit of God to feed us from the word of God we WANT FEEL NO WAYS TIRED on our Journey either, for God’s word “is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Heb. 4:12 (NKJV)

Consistent with this, once we allow the power of what God’s Word does through our faith, then like Elijah, we stand by our Elijahmountains as the strong winds, earthquakes, fire, rain and fear of our past, pass before us.

But then through our faith and endurance the gentle breeze of the Spirit of God tells us, “DON’T BE TIRED, WE NEVER TOLD YOU THAT THE ROAD WOULD BE EASY”, Because “narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life [eternal], and there are few who [will] find it.” Matt 7:13-14 (NKJV)

In addition, “WE DID NOT BRING YOU THIS FAR TO LEAVE YOU.” My friends “God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord,….but share… in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God, ”For He who has begun a good work in [His Children] will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.” 2Tim. 1:7-8, Phil. 1:6 (NKJV)
