MY FRIENDS, OUR SAVIOR CHEERS EACH WINDING PATH WE TREAD

maxresdefault“All the way my Savior leads me, cheers each winding path I tread, gives me grace for every trial, feeds me with the living bread. Though my weary steps may falter and my soul athirst may be, gushing from the rock before me, lo! a spring of joy I see”

My friends its personal today because our winding paths are different, but what is the same, the toll it takes on a child of God. The sleepless nights, and constant conflicts with self and how to destroy it, becomes an ever ending battle.

And since our goal is God’s kingdom we have to recognize self cannot just be contained it must be, destroyed, defeated and completely eliminated from our Character. I love the fact that our Savior cheers and guides each winding path we tread.

The Greek meaning for cheer tells us our Savior “supports unflinching; steady, constant, steadfast, unfaltering, courage.” in His chosen while His love grace and mercy is always imgresabounding within us.

My friends that is why His promise to “be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” Deu. 6:12 (NKJV)

The words means so much on this journey He has placed us on. Remember He has placed a lot on us finishing “for scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die.

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that [before we had even started our journey] and while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Rom. 5:7-8 (NKJV) Or while He was on the cross He saw you and I struggling with self.

hqdefault-300x225Struggling with the things of this world that the god of this world places before us as he tells us, “All these things I will give you if you will fall down and worship me.” Matt. 4:9 (NKJV) My friends, once again we have to begin to look at the life of Christ and pattern our entire character after His life.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” 2 Cor. 5:17 (NKJV) But our faith and endurance must be centered around the fact that.

“No temptation has overtaken you [or I] except such as is common to man [or woman]; but God is faithful, who will not allow [us] to be tempted beyond what [we] are able, but with [all] temptations He will also make the way of escape, that [we] may be able to bear it.” 1 Cor. 10:13 (NKJV)

And since it is personal all we can say is, we could never repay the debt that we owe Jesus Christ, If it had not been for grace, what would we do, where would we go. You and I were not imgresready to die, but we were also not fit to live.

But we accepted the gift That God alone could give. And that my friends was grace, amazing grace and because Jesus paid the price, there is no penalty” (Brooklyn Tabernacle It’s Amazing)

And one day soon “He will wipe every tear from [our] eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things [would have] passed away.” Rev. 21:4 (NKJV) and then our real journey will begin and it will continue throughout the ceaseless ages of eternity.

Every excuse we may give as the reason we cannot serve Christ, was challenged and answered at Calvary.
