MY FRIENDS, THERE IS ONLY ONE, BUT WE MUST BELIEVE!

imgresMiracles still happen my friends, and “There’s no way, that we can explain how things change at His command,” but we just have to believe when His word tells us, ”He said to the woman, “woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?” And She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.” John 8:10-11 (NKJV)

And we have to believe another woman begin Crawling, hyperventilating with anxiety to reach the Master. Oh what passion we all must seek, “As the deer pants for streams of water, so [our] soul pants for you, my God.” Ps. 42:1 (NIV) “If I could just “touch His Hem [she tells herself], I shall be made well.” Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction.

And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that power had gone out of Him looked around to see her who had done this thing. But the woman, imagesfearing and trembling, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him and told Him the whole truth. And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.” Mark 5:28-34 (NKJV)

Immediately my friends, not when the Master had finish healing her neighbor down the street of cancer. “My past has been erased with just one touch from You. My clouds, my rain, my pain has changed Your blood has made me new oh Lamb, so true I surrender to You.” My friends, we can search a life time for that touch of total peace and happiness.

But only when we surrender our all will we feel that passion to be in the presence of the one who gave it all for our salvation and once self is destroyed and we begin to live our life through Christ then we realize that only “One” has the power to say “I do not condemn you, your sins are forgiven now “Go and sin no more.” And only “One” knows, because of one’s faith we can say with no reservation that we, “serve a risen Savior.”

D14B372F96And because we serve a risen Savior we now have direct communication with “our Father which art in heaven.” Matt. 6:9 (NKJV) Yes my friends, all who believe can say “our Father” and we can say that with full assurance because “the Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us” Romans 8:16-18 (NKJV)

My friends, only “One” can tell us “if indeed we suffer with Him, we also will be glorified together with Him because nothing on this earth from the standpoint of our faith and “in light of eternity,” no pain, suffering, heartache, trials and no tribulation are compared with the glory which shall be revealed in that place “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” 1 Cor. 2:9 (NKJV)

And only “One” will say one day soon to His faithful servants who have endured “Blessed are those who [did My] commandments, [now you] have the right to the tree of life, [now come and] enter through the gates and into [My city] and to life eternal.

MY FRIENDS, THE PROSPERITY OF THE WICKED IS ONLY FOR A MOMENT SALVATION IS ETERNAL

May 17, 2016

MY FRIENDS, THE PROSPERITY OF THE WICKED IS ONLY FOR A MOMENT SALVATION IS ETERNAL

mansion-with-cars“But as for me, my feet had almost stumbled; My steps had nearly slipped. For I was envious of the boastful, When I saw the prosperity of the wicked….. Until I went into the sanctuary of God; Then I understood their end.” Ps. 73:2-3 (NKJV) David tells us he almost slipped, because his focus went from the presence of God, to being fixated on the things of this world. And at this point, we must all enter the “sanctuary of God.”

This is where His presence is. And this is where our passion must remain. “As the deer pants for the water brooks, So pants my soul for You, O God.” Ps. 42:1 (NKJV) My friends, the world has so much to offer and its “way seems right to a man [or woman] But its end is the way of death. Prov. 14:12 (NKJV) Trying to stay focused “on things above, not on things on the earth” is a feat that can only be accomplished if we keep our eyes on the one who gave it all for our salvation.

Because once our focus is shifted on self, this is when “we stumbled and our steps begin to slip” towards perdition. Remember “our struggle is notpleasure-of-His-presence against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” Eph. 6:12 (NIV) And this great controversy is over our souls and the battle rages daily within us.

Isaiah in Is. 3:10-11(NIV) is a warning that tells us “the righteous, it will be well with them, for they will enjoy the fruit of their deeds. Woe to the wicked! Disaster is upon them they will be paid back for what their hands have done.” So we must look where God has brought us from and where this journey will take us. In addition, our faith must tell us, the Good Shepherd is our fortress against the god of this world and his attempt to lead us away from His presence.

Satan will keep us thinking, the world owes us, so we must continue to pursue after what it offers as we begin to acquire more things that one day will “pass away, and the lust thereof….” 1 John 2:17 (ASV)  My friends, let’s look at the fate of the wicked. There were only eight saved after Noah had preached for one hundred and twenty years. Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed even after Abraham pleads to the Lord “Suppose ten should be found there?”

renewalGod responds, “I will not destroy it for the sake of ten. Oh the grace of God. But, not even ten were found “and when the morning dawned, the angels urged Lot to hurry, saying, “Arise, take your wife and your two daughters who are here, lest you be consumed in the punishment of the city.” Abraham pleaded, “if only ten,” but, there were only three. Lot’s wife almost made it, but her feet stumbled and slipped towards the abyss.

She was “envious of the boastful and the prosperity of the wicked.” In addition, we have to have a passion to be a disciple of Christ and be one of the few who will make up God’s kingdom. But even the few John says; “will make up a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands,” Rev 7:9 (NKJV) My friends, don’s give it all up because we envy the prosperity of the wicked, remember Salvation is eternal.

MY FRIENDS HOW DOES A CHRISTIAN DEFINE CONFUSION?

May 14, 2016

MY FRIENDS HOW DOES A CHRISTIAN DEFINE CONFUSION?

Confusion is defined as; “disorder; upheaval; turmoil; chaos or a lack of clearness” I am sure I can find a few more adjectives to define what we as a Unclearcountry and a world are facing each day we wake up. As I look at the world we live in I can say with no reservation that we have gone beyond Matt. 24, and entered a dark hole or an abyss type of situation that we will never recover from until God says.

“He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be” Rev. 21:11-12 (NKJV) I can only imagine when our all-knowing, all-powerful, Omnipresence God looked down through the centuries and saw history repeat itself.

And once again, “as in the days before the flood, [when mankind] was eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, when “the wickedness of bd2b87030f2490440a8834328cf4912f-300x225man and woman was great on the earth, and that every imagination or intent of the thoughts of his heart were only evil continually.” Gen. 6:5 (AMP) And He knew that His ministry on earth was to find disciples and to start a movement that took Him from where He stood down the road Via Dolorosa to His journey’s final destination, the cross where our debt was paid.

Then from the cross to the grave and from the grave to where He now intercedes on our behalf. And now my friends it is time we lift Him high and tell the world that we serve a risen Savior. A world that is lost in the confusion of “breaking new.” Lost in the confusion “of wars and rumors of wars.” Lost in the confusion of nations rising against nations, and kingdoms against kingdoms.

Lost in the confusion of famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. Lost in the confusion of many false Christ telling us I am the Good Shephard. “But as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” Matt 24:27 (NKJV) Lost in the confusion of “false prophets, showing great signs and wonders” but my friends “to the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.” Is. 8:20 (NKJV)

In addition, our Savior wants us to understand, it is the father of confusion, Satan, that creates the “disorder; upheaval; turmoil; chaos or a lack of clearness” that we find in our world today and that my friends is why it has become confusing to distinguished between the “wide road that leads to destruction that many will travel. And the narrow way which leads to life eternal that few will find.

maxresdefaultAnd few will find, because Satan has allowed many to confuse the purity of God with the forces of evil and now we have no problem calling evil good, and good evil; and interchanging the darkness of this word with the wonderful light that shines from the portals of God’s pure and holy kingdom. But my friends, the good news is, grace still abounds.

Which let’s God’s faithful know, we still have options to choose between that place, “eye have not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”1 Cor. 2:9 (NKJV) Or total confusion and perdition, “prepared for the devil and his angels.”

MY FRIENDS, ARE WE SQUANDERING OUR PRECIOUS TIME AWAY?

May 14, 2016

MY FRIENDS, ARE WE SQUANDERING OUR PRECIOUS TIME AWAY?

Hourglass Sand Timer Beach SunriseThe Bible gives no endorsement to idleness. It is the greatest curse that afflicts our world. Time squandered can never be recovered. We cannot call back even one moment. The only way in which we can redeem our time is by making the most of that which remains, by being co-workers with God in His great plan of redemption. In him who does this, a transformation of character takes place. He becomes a son of God, a member of the royal family, a child of the heavenly King. He is fitted to be the companion of the angels.” (Ellen G. White Christ’s Object Lessons)

So today my friends. we must make it personal because the days of our lives are seventy years; And if by reason of strength they are eighty years,” Ps. 90:10 (NKJV) which tells us, we are running out of time. In addition, if we manage to squander those seventy or eighty years away on self how could we possible handle eternity where life never ends.

Using Christ as our example, who was always serving the needs of others, His earthly ministry, was only spent praying, teaching, helping, healing andbread-of-life interacting daily with men and women from every social, educational, and economic class. And this was done so that they would realize the never ending Love of His father that gave His Only Begotten Son, and a Son who was willing to sacrifice His own life so that all may be saved.

My friends His agenda was always based on His ministry. Now it becomes personal because if our desire is to spend eternity in that place “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” 1 Cor. 2:9 (NKJV) Then we must ask ourselves what exactly is our mission or what has God placed upon our hearts to accomplish through Him today?

Or have we even asked, knowing we will get a response since, “The harvest is plentiful, and the workers are few.” Luke 10:2 (NIV) And so we know if we ask, that requires a commitment and today we have to take our dog to the vet. And tomorrow, what excuse will we give to the one who gave it all for our Salvation.

D14B372F96My friends, where is our passion in becoming co-workers with Christ out on the front lines of the battle field where a world continues to sink deeper and deeper into sin. Where iniquity continues to abound higher and higher and the love of many continues to wax colder and colder. We must understand if we are seeking God’s kingdom our time must not be centered on self.

Our passion to serve must transcend into an urgency to serve as we look at the closeness of Christ soon return. Remember friends, there is nothing in us, or of ourselves by which we can influence others for good, or use our time wisely because we are all shapen in iniquity; and in sin did our mother conceive us Ps. 51:5 (KJV) So we must realize our helplessness and our need of God’s holy Spirit to guide us in how we spend our time in serving Christ, as we become chosen vessels.

In addition, we also become faithful steward’s of our time talents and money that God has given us. My friends, “Life is too solemn to be absorbed in temporal and earthly matters in a treadmill of care and anxiety for the things that are but an atom in comparison with the things of eternal interest. Yet God has called us to serve Him” (E.G. White) My friends oh what an Honor!! What an honor!!

MY FRIENDS, DO WE THINK LIKE THE POSTMODERN SOCIETY?

postmodernismMy friends, there is a rise in thinking in today’s society called Postmodernism. It claims there are no moral absolutes, that truth is whatever you believe it to be. Live and let live. The problem is, they try and combine a little truth, with a little error “it rejects absolute moral truth” which tells us there is evil and good in our world. And The Bible is totally accurate in all of its promises and precepts.

And Satan is not symbolic but a real being or force of evil who was banished from heaven because of his desire to be like the Most High. And that a person cannot earn their way into Heaven by being good or doing good works. And Christians do have a responsibility to share their faith with the world. In addition, Jesus did not sin while on this earth, which He then becomes our example. But Postmodernist believe, what is right or wrong is relative to the situation and not to what is in God’s word.

If I am married and want to have an affair, the situation dictates weather it is right or wrong not the fact that God says “thou should not commitCommandments_redacted adultery” so in reality, we can use this same way of thinking for all ten of God’s precepts “whatever feels good mentality” not spiritually and there is no limitation on the choices we make because those choices are all about self.

So now there is no absolute truth. No thus says the Lord. Only spiritual confusion. So How can we ever be willing to take up our cross for Christ whose ideas are absolute and never changes. He “is the same yesterday and today and forever.” Heb. 13:8 (NIV) So now Satan mixes a little truth with a little error because, Postmodernist are still willing to help the needed, visit the sick, feed the hungry and give donation for world peace and animal rights.

But,“When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.” Then Christ says; I was hungry and you gave Me food;….thirsty and you gave Me drink.

i-was-hungry-sign-2I was a stranger and you took Me in;…naked and you clothed Me;…sick and you visited Me;…in prison and you came to Me. But the righteous ask, ‘Lord, when did You see me do all of these things. Then Christ says “Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.” Matt. 25:31-46 (NLJV)

It’s now personal, because we have to look within ourselves and say, if I have done all of this, what could possibly keep me out of God’s kingdom. My friends it is all about our relationship with Christ. Christ says if you love me, Love meaning that Agape love which is that kind of love Jesus Christ has for his Father and for you and I.

Which is, Selfless, Sacrificial and unconditional. Christ tells us if you love me you will keep my commandments unconditionally and be willing to Sacrifice everything even our lives for His ministry and this can only be done if self is completely destroyed and we now live our life through the life of Christ and his will for us.

Every excuse we may give as the reason we cannot serve Christ, was challenged and answered at Calvary.

MY FRIENDS, WE CAN EITHER “FIGHT OR FLIGHT” IT’S OUR CHOICE!!

May 12, 2016

MY FRIENDS, WE CAN EITHER “FIGHT OR FLIGHT” IT’S OUR CHOICE!!

Fight Or Flight“The fight-or-flight response, also known as the acute stress response, refers to a physiological reaction that occurs in the presence of something that is terrifying, either mentally or physically. The response is triggered by the release of hormones that prepare your body to either stay and deal with a situation or to run away.”

But our focus today is what is our responsibility in carrying out the mandate that God has placed before us in order that His Son may return. I believe we are all Church going Christians. But Christ message is, not a requirement that we go to church to receive salvation. But we are required to “become the church.” Which becomes the light that shines from the portals of God’s kingdom through our lives out onto the front lines of the battlefield.

And going to church being entertained by the Holy Spirit from the various praise teams, soloist and earth moving sermons each week, as we tellumns_167_070336_468 anyone who will listen, I am over the usher board or I have been a faithful Deacon or Deaconess for over twenty years, only confirms we are running away from our responsibility. If you study God’s word Christ very seldom went to the temple. His ministry was out on the front lines where the prostitutes, thieves, the sick and a world that had lost hope resided.

So if our desire is to live as Christ lived, we must decide if we are going to fight Satan, with the power of God’s Spirit, out on the front lines, or are we going to run for cover inside our churches. My friends, Christ needs a response today while grace still abounds. Because if we have decided to be all we can be inside our churches and stay silent then “the stones will immediately cry out [for us, Jesus saves]” Luke 19:40 (NKJV)

635610781640677161-original-1-But if our desire is to finish this journey Christ has placed us on. We must “tell them. Even if they don’t believe we have to tell them. Even if they don’t receive we must tell them” about the One who gave it all for their Salvation. As I look inside most of our churches there is a lack of enthusiasm or passion to serve. But Christ tells us to “feed my flock” and “you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you.

And you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:8 (NKJV) But, repeating the same behavior week after week, year after year, decade after decade, within our churches will only “generate the same outcome, it eliminates rather then produces positive change.” Which means, we remain in flight from our responsibilities to God.

We remain in flight from being a disciple of Christ and carrying our cross. We remain in flight from that place “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor imgres8have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” 1 Cor. 2:9 (NKJV) We then become a-part of those who will be the first to cry out Lord, Lord at His second coming. But the sad part is, we will also be the first one’s that Christ will respond too, and say, “I know you not.”

Once again “If the angels could pull back the curtain” and we could see how close the god of this world and all who follow him are in reaching their cup of indignation. We would all tremble and weep while putting on sackcloth and ashes as we fall prostrate before God while saying “Lord, Lord, not my will, but thou will be done”

MY FRIENDS, CAN YOU IMAGINE IF OUR SALVATION WAS UP TO US?

May 11, 2016

MY FRIENDS, CAN YOU IMAGINE IF OUR SALVATION WAS UP TO US?

imgresToday my friends it’s personal, because I am personally asking Christ for “more grace so I can finish running this race. As I sit, I realize I have come short of His glory, but I also recognize that all the pardon I need I have found in my Lord and Savior. And so I’ve made up my mind to ask for just a little more grace and a little more time.

“Often heard it said, time belongs to no one because a clock can’t turn back all the wrong we’ve done but Lord I’m calling out your name as best I can and I’m asking for the blessings that comes only from your name.” Because “there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved except the name of Jesus Christ.” Acts 4:12 (NKJV)

From Wikipedia, grace is defined as a “theological term present in many religions. It has been defined as the divine influence which operates in humans to regenerate and sanctify, to inspire virtuous impulses, and to impart strength to endure trial and resist temptation and as an individual virtue or excellence of divine origin.

My friends, I love the words to “regenerate and sanctify, to inspire virtuous impulses, and to impart strength to endure trials and resist temptations.” graceIn Ephesians 2:8-10 (KJV) it says  “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”

Simply put, grace can only be defined as an unearned favor, a free gift that can never be earned no matter how many sick individuals we visit, or how much tithe we give or food we give to the homeless. No amount of work will ever earn Gods favor. It is God’s gift, a gift of salvation, granted to sinners for their salvation. But we must realize, our salvation is personal.

Because, I can only speak for myself when I say if it “were not for grace, I can tell you where I’d be, wandering down some pointless road to nowhere with my salvation up to me and I know how that would go, the battles I would face forever running but losing the race but, were it not for grace. (Larnelle Harris) So my friends, let’s pause for a moment as we lay prostrate before God and think about all the time, and grace, God has given us to get it right?

imagesIn other words “If grace were an ocean we would all be sinking.” And then think about all the time we spend in front of our TV’s or shopping at the mall or gossiping on the phone, or at the dinner table after church. Paul says it best in Romans 3:20-24 (ESV) For by works of the law no human being will be justified in his sight, since through the law comes knowledge of sin.

But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it, the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction: for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus” My friends, I personally never want to imagine myself “wandering down some pointless road to nowhere with my salvation up to me.”

MY FRIENDS, ARE WE ALLOWING THE WORLD TO DEFINE WHO OUR GOD IS?

MAY 10, 2016

MY FRIENDS, ARE WE ALLOWING THE WORLD TO DEFINE WHO OUR GOD IS?

How can we proclaim God if our mind is not “set on things above, [but only] on earthly things” Col. 3:2 (NIV) As God’s chosen, we are unique in what imgreswe do and how we act? We must not allow the world to define who we are. “Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world……is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.” 1 John 2:15 (KJV)

My friends, that is a promise of life eternal if we can remain focused on our Journey and where Christ is leading us as we define who we are through Christ, His word and Spirit. In addition, this can only be done if our character is uniquely different from the world. “And not conformed to [the things of this] world, but transformed by the renewing of our mind, that we may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” Romans 12:2 (KJV)

And God’s will must be our only focus, which becomes a shared vision and a shared passion that goes from where we are today to the promise land. Ascamino we “seek first Gods Kingdom and his righteousness; and then all [our needs] shall be added unto [us.]” Matt. 6:33 (NKJV) We must also have the same passion for spreading the good news of Christ second coming.

And finishing up His mandate here on earth, that we have for what we anticipate that God has planned for each of us in that place, “eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” 1 Cor. 2:9 (NKJV) So as God’s chosen, we must define who we are through Christ, and don’t allow the world to do so for us.

In other words, we should not be able to discuss the latest episode of Empire, Scandal, House Wife’s of Atlanta, and the Have and Have Not’s with individuals whose spiritual compass always points towards this earth. When Paul speaks of the Israelite’s in 1 Cor. 10:6-7 (NKJV) He says, “now these things became our examples, to the intent that we should not lust after evil things as they also lusted. And do not become idolaters as were some of them. As it is written, the people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.”

heaven-joyIdolaters defined as those who worship idols or the things that we have placed in our lives that are an abomination to God. “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them” Eph. 2:10 (KJV) and as God’s chosen we represent the living God not the god of this world because, “we are His workmanship.”

Created in His very image, a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that [we] may proclaim the excellencies of Him who called you [and I] out of darkness into His marvelous light.” 1 Peter 2:9 (NKJV) David a man after “God’s on heart” could not let an uncircumcised Philistines define who His God was. “For who is this Philistine David ask “That he should define the armies of the living God?”

My friends, as God’s Chosen, a new generation of men and women after God’s on heart. We should seek daily with God’s word and Spirit in hand all who defy God and tell them Jesus saves.

MY FRIENDS, DO WE HAVE THE PASSION OF FAITH TO CONTINUE?

May 9, 2016

MY FRIENDS, DO WE HAVE THE PASSION OF FAITH TO CONTINUE?

images29-300x167“We must not pray in a doubting, half-hearted manner, but with full assurance of faith. When we come to Him in this manner, Jesus will listen to our prayers, and will answer them; but if we regard iniquity in our hearts, if we cherish any darling sin, we may be assured that no blessing will be given in response to our prayers.” (Ellen White Prevailing prayer)

My friends, we must never forget that “the prayers of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” James 5:16 (NIV) If there is “no iniquity in our hearts or we cherish no darling sins,” and we are passionate about what we are petitioning God for, because passion gives us hope that comes with the power of God that a family member or friend will be healed when we lay prostrate before the great physician and say Lord not my will but thou will be done.

A passion of faith that our child will find the Lord one day as the tears run down our cheeks and we say, Lord it was your promise that told me “trainimgres11 up a child in the way of the Lord and He will not depart.” A passion of Hope as “the increase of wickedness, and the love of many are growing cold” and we realize, we are a chosen vessel “for such a time as this.”

In addition, our passion must remain with a desire, to spread the good news of the gospel to all the world until God says “it is finished.” But most of all we must maintain a passion that whatever our petition is, it will bring glory and honor to our Saviors name, as we cry out I know, I was “bought with a price: So every day of my life please allow me the privilege and honor, to glorify You in my body, and in my spirit, which are Yours” 1 Corinthians 6:20 (KJV)

As we lift Him up and magnify His name we are petitioning our best friend, not just some acquaintance. Oh “What a Friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and grief’s to bear! What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer!” And now it becomes personal as we close our eyes and focus on the sound of the rushing wind.

photo3-300x173And the more we talk to “our Father which are in heaven” we realize, His appearing is closer than ever as we begin to here the trumpet of Gabriel, and hear the Father as He says Son go get my children. And the more we pray we begin to witness all of our friends, family, and love one’s that were laid to sleep before us suddenly become alive, with new bodies that will never, never die; and then we who are still alive shall suddenly have new bodies also.”

But the sad part of it all is, without, passion, faith, endurance and a vision of hope in the promises in God’s word. What we are really saying is, “whatever” none of God’s promises matter, because our treasures and the desires of the flesh are laid up here on earth. And our friends, families and love one’s who stayed faithful and endured to the end will probably not remember us anyway after ten thousand years have passed in a place that “eye have not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of His children who loved Him” enough to surrender it all while on this earth and serve Him until they heard the sound of Gabriel’s trumpet.

MY FRIENDS, DO WE REALLY LOVE OUR MOTHERS ENOUGH TO WANT TO CHANGE?

May 8, 2016

MY FRIENDS, DO WE REALLY LOVE OUR MOTHERS ENOUGH TO WANT TO CHANGE?

thMy friends, we say how much we love our Mothers, but how much? So on this mothers day, we must ask ourselves, is there something in our life that is keeping us from following Christ or being like Him or giving Him our all? If it is, then we must find a way to eliminate what is delaying the process. “If your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.” (NIV)

And I can say with no reservation, there is a better solution to eliminate what is an abomination to God before having to “gouge our eye out and throw it away.” My friends, has our life became so complicated in this “whatever” generation, In other words are the things of this world making it impossible to be a Christian? If so we must begin to eliminate everything that is not in accordance to the will of God.

And it starts by giving God our all as we study His word and allow God’s Spirit to take full control and as we study we will see examples of faith in others andth what giving it all to the Master means, “as we run the race that is before us never quitting as we eliminate from our lives everything that will slow us down along with all sins that will make us fall.” Heb. 12:1(paraphased)

And friends, “Are we unable to find the words that describe how you believe God has called you to know, love, and serve Him because “our affections [are] on things below, [and] not on things above.” Col. 3:2 (KJV) And if somebody or something is dragging you in the opposite direction or not through the narrow gate that leads to the kingdom of God. But through that wide gate and that broad road that leads to destruction that many have decided to go through.

Then we must decide today “How long will [we] falter between two opinions? If the Lord is God, [then we must] follow Him; but if Baal [and the things of this world has become our god then we must], follow him.” 1 Kings 18:21 (NKJV) “Our life and who we will choose to serve “at such a time as this” “is part of a spiritual war” between God and Satan, good and evil.

CP00477eSo today we must decide if we truly want to give up the things of this world and live with Christ and our mothers throughout the ceaseless ages of eternity. “For what is a man [or woman] profited, if [we] shall gain the whole world, and lose our own soul? Or what shall a man [or woman] give in exchange for their soul? Matt 16:26 (KJV)

My friends, “we must get used to the fact that our life is lived in the context of warfare. Every breath [we] take is an act of war. To survive and thrive in the midst of the spiritual battle in which [we] live, [then we must] seek a faith context and experience that will enhance [our] capacity to be Christ-like. This mission demands single-minded commitment and a disregard for the criticisms of those who lack the same dedication to the cause of Christ.

[We] should answer to only one Commander in Chief, and only [we] will give an explanation for [our] choices. [So today my friends, if we really love Christ and our mothers, then we must do whatever we have to do to prove that [we] fear God, [and love Him, and our mothers enough. To want to live with them forever and ever in the earth made new”] (George Barna, Revolution, pp 28)
