“DID YOU NOT HEAR,” DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND?

“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. Eph. 3:20-21 (NIV)

imgres“Then he said, “Take the arrows,” and the king took them. Elisha told him, “Strike the ground.” He struck it three times and stopped. The man of God was angry with him and said, “You should have struck the ground five or six times; then you would have defeated Aram and completely destroyed it. But now you will defeat it only three times.” 2 Kings 3:18-19 (NIV)

My friends how many times have we stop short of our blessings because of our unbelief in what God is able and willing to do for His faithful Children. For if you are a Child of God, Faith has no barriers.

Neither does God’s love and his desire to give us what we ask. So our prayers must be prayers of  PASSION, and a heartfelt belief that God will supply all of our needs. But we must also not look at Faith as our personal debit card that we pull out and use when we seek the finer things of life.

The true concept of Faith, Salvation and the grace and mercies of God and His promises are all found in His word. Paul tells us. “But not all the Israelites accepted the good imagesnews. For Isaiah says, “Lord, WHO HAS BELIEVED OUR MESSAGE?” Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ. But I ask: DID THEY NOT HEAR? Of course they did…”, Romans 10:16-18 (NIV)

My friends DID YOU NOT HEAR DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND that “FAITH comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ” who is OUR PERSONAL SAVIOR. “Genuine faith is a transaction by which those who receive Christ join themselves in a covenant relationship with God.”

Genuine faith has to be a way of life and a PASSION from within. Genuine Faith is also accepting the fact that the rough side of the mountain may never be conquered until Christ appears a second time, but we will never stop climbing. “For faith does not make things easy, it only makes things possible,”

neon-faith-basedit places us right in the throne room with God as our faith is stretch, but our hope never dies that our prayers will be answered even if it is not until we have reached God’s pure and holy kingdom, and He tells us “Well done, good and faithful servant!” So today “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding or knowledge.”

And one day, as we walk those streets paved in gold and “we try to call up our greatest trials, but they looked so small compared with the far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory that surrounded us, that we could not speak them out, and we all cried out, “ALLELUIA! HEAVEN IS CHEAP ENOUGH” and we touched our glorious harps and made heaven’s arches ring.” (E.G. White Life Sketch)

Paul tells us in Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the FAITH of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” “I live by the FAITH of the Son of God” must become our mission statement today. Friends, things are happening all around us.

“For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming.” 2 Thess. 2:7-8 (NIV) Satan knows he has but a short time. Our FAITH will be tested the closer we get to Christ second coming. But if we are Children of  THE KING the reward for ENDURANCE will be worth the wait.

 

So my friends today. Stay focused, remain faithful, love one another and endure till the end and never forget to STUDY&PRAY
