“OH THE WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL WORDS OF THE LORD”

And you know what is restraining him now so that he may be revealed in his time. The mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of his coming. 2 Thess. 2:6-8 (ESV)

crucified with Christ sunset“When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar He said, ‘IT IS FINISHED!’ and He bowed His head and gave up the ghost.” We are now in the final chapter of this “Great controversy” between good and evil. Paul tells us “For you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.

While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.” 1 Thess. 5:2-3 (NIV) “The curtain is pulled back.” And we see the terror Satan felt when Christ said “IT IS FINISHED.” Demons are now asking Satan what’s happening.

This is not what you promised us as they see Jesus dying on the cross, and they realize their destiny is sealed forever in the blood of Christ. Holy angels are watching as the prince of peace, their loving Master hangs on that cruel cross. Jews from throughout the world are in Jerusalem for the Passover, with curiosity, asking, what is this all about?

Who is this man who calls Himself the Son of God? Why is He being crucified? Satan’s character is now revealed. Holy angels had not understood the course that Satan took, orit-is-finished why, until they heard the words “IT IS FINISHED.” The plan of redemption is now completed, the character of God is now revealed to all mankind, and God’s law of love is now established forever.

The destruction of sin and the character of Satan will forever be made certain to all, redemption can now run its course, and our salvation forever guaranteed if we are willing to give it all to Master. What His sacrifice on Calvary meant to each of us who believed. We will never fully comprehend, until God Himself “wipes every tear from our eyes.”

And with a still small voice say with all the compassion and love that gave us the strength here on this earth to endure the journey He had placed us on “IT TRULY IS FINISHED.” “Come now and share your Master’s happiness!” John says it best in John 3:16 (NKJV) For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

Those words should get us out of bed each morning with a renewed PASSION to tell the world “IT IS FINISHED!” Christ will soon return for his faithful children. And the more repentancewe sustain that PASSION within us. And the more we focus on the character and love of Christ. The more we come to realize that we must continue to follow Christ all the way as we take up our cross and become a humble servant to others.

Our mission now is  to go into all the world and tell everyone of His love, grace, and mercy. A message for “such a time as this” Especially as we enter into the final days of this life’s history, as we constantly study the word of God and seek His Spirit daily while gaining strength needed to continue this journey.

So my friends don’t get discourage, for Christ is our example, continue to endure until the “Battle is over” for there are souls that still need to know that God’s word and Spirit has power. Oh the gratitude of souls that will meet us in the heavenly courts, to thank us for our efforts in presenting the gospel of Christ to them, and letting them know that Satan was defeated, and there salvation was assured at the cross when Christ said “IT IS FINISHED”

So my friends today. Stay focused, remain faithful, love one another and endure till the end and never forget to STUDY&PRAY
