MY FRIENDS, WHAT IS OUR ACCOUNTABILITY FOR THE FREE GIFT OF SALVATION?

MY FRIENDS, WHAT IS OUR ACCOUNTABILITY FOR THE FREE GIFT OF SALVATION?

imagesAs a Christian we must now look beyond today, and focus on our Saviors soon return and our ACCOUNTABILITY for how we live our life from day to day. Paul tells us in 2 Corinthians 5:10 (NKJV) “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.”

As Christian our ACCOUNTABILITY will be an answerable account to our Creator who has given a commission to all who has a burning desire within their heart, and a responsibility to love as our Savior loved as we spread the good news of the CROSS, and Jesus soon return. Matthew 24:14 (NKJV) tells us “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”

This is a testimony from God so His message will never be suppressed nor silenced. The love, grace and mercy of our Savior given to us, so that we may receive the free gift of life eternal and at such a cost, and oh what a cost we must pay to receive that gift. I guess you say that sounds like a contradictory statement, how can a free gift also cost the receiver.

Well as a parent we give good gifts to our children that is paid for with a sacrifice and it was only because of our love that we are willing to sacrifice sometimes everything we have so that we can give that gift and it is given not because the child deserves a gift or has done anything to receive a gift, but it is given only because of a parents love for that child.

In addition, as a child the cost of receiving such a gift of love is to reciprocate that same love with our love and a commitment of obedience. Such a high cost we as FreeGiftparents pay to give good gifts to our children, but nothing compared to the height and depth that the trinity went through to give mankind the gift of Salvation.

First the Father who “so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.”John 3:16-17 (ESV)

And then the Son who died in each of our places so that we may receive this free gift of life eternal; “who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Phil 2:6-8 (ESV)

And the Spirit who daily must grieve because of those who reject the price that was paid for the gift the Father and Son paid for of our Salvation. “And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.” Eph. 4:30 (KJV)

imagesMark 3:28-29 (ESV) also states “Truly, I say to you, all sins will be forgiven the children of man, and whatever blasphemies they utter, but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin.”

Such a price paid for all who believes and endures, this is why we reciprocate with an ACCOUNBILITY OF OUR LOVE for the gift that was paid with such a high price and “man [or woman] cannot, by any of [their] good works, merit salvation, it must be wholly of grace, received by [each of us] as a sinner because [we] receive and believe in Jesus. It is [truly] a free gift. (E. G. White) In addition it is a gift of love which leads to his Children with a contrite heart saying to the one’s who gave it all “not my will but thou will be done.”

So my friends today. Stay focused, remain faithful, love one another and endure till the end and never forget to STUDY&PRAY
