IT IS WHEN I AM WEAK THAT I AM REALLY STRONG!!!

“Yes, I am glad to have weaknesses if they are for Christ. I am glad to be insulted and have hard times. I am glad when I am persecuted and have problems, because it is when I am weak that I am really strong.” 2 Cor. 12:10 (ERV)

Thank you Lord for all of the trials and tribulation in my life. That doesn’t sound right, thanking God for that unbearable b.2Corinthians12.10thorn in our life that seems to penetrate deeper and deeper until it has become almost unbearable. The story is told about the baptism of King Aengus by St. Patrick in the middle of the fifth century.

Sometime during the rite, St. Patrick leaned on his sharp-pointed staff and inadvertently stabbed the king’s foot. After the baptism was over, St. Patrick looked down at all the blood, realized what he had done, and begged the king’s forgiveness. Why did you suffer this pain in silence, the Saint wanted to know. The king replied, “I thought it was part of the ritual.”

A Child of God. The trials we endure each day, would this be considered a ritual or a “Right of Passage” on this journey God has placed us on while enduring suffering with a passion of delight as long as it is for Christ and His purpose for my life. Definition of a “Right of Passage” tells us.

It is a Ceremony that marks an important transitional period in a person’s life, it usually involves ritual activities and urlteachings designed to strip individuals of their original roles and prepare them for new roles. That my friends is where I need you to focus at today. The quote “TEACHINGS DESIGNED TO STRIP INDIVIDUALS OF THEIR ORIGINAL ROLES AND PREPARE THEM FOR NEW ROLES.”

“And she became pregnant and gave birth to a son. When she saw that he was a fine child, she hid him for three months in the river” Pharaohs daughter finds the child, and hires Moses Sister Marian to take care of the baby “When the child grew older, Marian took the child to Pharaoh’s daughter and he became her son. She named him Moses, saying, “I drew him out of the water.”

Moses-in-a-basketWhen Moses was grown he kills an Egyptian who was fighting a Hebrew “When Pharaoh heard of this, he tried to kill Moses, but Moses fled from Pharaoh and went to live in Midian,…” Ex, 2,3 Then, Forty years later Moses was called by God to be the leader of the Israelite nation. Where he lead Israel 40 years, before his death.

“And Moses the servant of the LORD died there in Moab, as the LORD had said.” Deu. 34:5 (NIV) Now let’s move our attention to Jude 9:1 (NIV) “But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not himself dare to condemn him for slander but said, “The Lord rebuke you!”

Also Mark states in Mark 9:4 (NIV) “And there appeared before them Elijah and Moses, who were talking with Jesus.” So Moses went from A fugitive baby, to Pharaoh’s adopted Grandson and future king of Egypt, too once again becoming a fugitive for the murder of an Egyptian, to exile in a foreign land for 40 years, to going back to Egypt and becoming leaderJesus08 of Israel for another 40 years until his death.

Then, Michael the archangel claimed his body and now he sits in the heavenly Realms of God’s kingdom. Paul tells us in Phill. 3:10 (NIV) “..and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.”

And that my friends is where all of our sufferings takes us. Because one day “by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be”1 Thess. 4:15-17 (NKJV)

So my friends today. Stay focused, remain faithful, love one another and endure till the end and never forget to STUDY&PRAY
