MY FRIENDS, CAN WE LOOK WITHIN OURSELVES AND SEE THE CONFLICT?

MY FRIENDS, CAN WE LOOK WITHIN OURSELVES AND SEE THE CONFLICT?

cross-to-salvation-300x200“For I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh; for the willing is present in me, but the doing of the good is not. For the good that I want, I do not do, but I practice the very evil that I do not want. But if I am doing the very thing I do not want, I am no longer the one doing it, but sin which dwells in me.” Rom. 7:18-20 (NASB) So, my friends, we must recognize we are not capable of winning the daily prolong struggles we encounter with the “spiritual forces of wickedness in heavenly places”

Remember, the very thing we do not want, we are no longer the one doing it, “but sin which dwells in us.” So “Conflict after conflict must be waged against hereditary tendencies.” In addition, we must “criticize ourselves closely, and not allow one unfavorable trait to remain uncorrected. Let no one say, I cannot remedy my defects of character.

If [we] come to this decision, [we] will certainly fail of obtaining everlasting life. The impossibility lies in [our] own will. If you [and I] will not, then [we] cannot overcome. The real difficulty arises from the corruption of an unsanctified heart, and an unwillingness to submit to the control of God.” (E.G. White, Christ Object Lessons p 331)

My friends, God’s Spirit continually seeks a conviction from you and I. The disciples were not just introduced to the Holy Spirit JesusWashingFeetwhen they became disciples. But, throughout their lives “Conflict after conflict was waged against hereditary tendencies.” And then they were introduced to Christ and their lives were change and when the day of Pentecost was fully come, “they were all on one accord in one place.”

Which tells us through God’s Spirit they “criticize themselves closely and did “not allow one unfavorable trait [of sin] to remain uncorrected” as they remedied their defects of character” by “forsaken all others” and allowing God’s Spirit to finally convict, instruct, restore, guide and empower every aspect of their lives.

But one disciple, Judas, allowed those hereditary tendencies to remain within Him and then Satan encouraged him to take His own life which then took Him outside the boundaries of what occurred at Calvary. My friends, we must remember we are all “shapen in iniquity; and in sin did our mothers conceive [us]. Ps. 51:5 (KJV)

imgres8[1]But we must also remember from birth “God will put His Spirit within us and remove [our] heart of stone from our flesh and give [each of us] a heart of flesh, that we may walk in His statutes and keep His rules and obey them. And [we] shall be His people” Ez. 11:19-20 (KJV) But first we must respond as we repent and submit complete control of our life over to God and His Spirit.

Friends, “the curtain has been pulled back by God’s holy angels” and we see that lawlessness continues to abound. And nation continue to rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom and famines and pestilences, and earthquakes continue in various places. We are witnessing prophecy being fulfilled before our eyes, as time moves faster than ever before.

“It’s as if we’re watching the blur of a speeding train pass,” moving towards Christ second coming and as we see the conflict within us rage on, are we willing to give it all to the Master in exchange for life eternal.

MY FRIENDS, SLVATION IS BASED ON THE FACT, WE DIE DAILY!!!

Feb. 2, 2017

MY FRIENDS, SLVATION IS BASED ON THE FACT, WE DIE DAILY!!!

th2JBWH9D4Paul told the Corinthian’s, “I affirm, [or state positively] brethren, by the boasting in you which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.” 1 Cor. 15:31 (NASB) My friends we are at the very threshold of the promise land and the forces of evil have mounted attacks on God’s people at insurmountable levels that you and I will never defeat if we do not make an assertive, aggressive, self-assured, positive and dogmatic effort through prayer and supplication while seeking God’s Spirit through His word to die daily.

Remember we do not “fight against flesh and blood.” In addition, “time seems to be accelerating. The hours, days, seasons, and years appear to fly by faster than ever before…..One week seems to run into the next. It’s as if we’re watching the blur of a speeding train pass by. (Jim Tetlow, Author of 101 Last Days Prophecies)

In the parable of the fig tree Christ gives us this warning: “A man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it and found none. And he said to the vinedresser, ‘Look, for three years now I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and I find none. Cut it down. Why should it use up the ground?’ Luke 13:6-9 (ESV)

My friends the signs of the weather we are quick to read, a mother’s due date for the birth of a child we are most parable-of-the-fig-tree[1]certain about. But what about the daily signs of Christ soon coming. “When you see all these things [taking place], know for certain that He is near, right at the door.” Matt 24:33 (AMP)

Christ is “seeking fruit” from us but, “He has found none.” My friends, we were once young and now we are old, yet we have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread.” Ps 37:25 (NIV) And yet, when or Savior who gave it all for our Salvation and provides for us daily, knocks, we ignore His pleading.

Along with the opportunity to live in a place “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for [you and I who say we love Him.]” 1 Cor. 2:9-10 (KJV) We are barren, and it is not that we are incapable of producing fruit, but the “rulers of the darkness of this world” have made us an thTY4O6F82offer, “bow down and worship me, [and the world will be ours]” Matt.4:9 (KJV)

My friends, Christ our example, the same offer was made to Him and His words were, “Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.” So who and what are we serving that is keeping self from dyeing daily. The parable of the fig tree ends with Christ telling us.

“Sir, let the tree alone this year, until I dig around it and put on manure. Then if it should bear fruit next year, well and good; but if not, you can cut it down.” Luke 13:6-9 (ESV) God’s love, grace and mercy allows us to determine our own fate therefore, “wide is the gate and broad the way that leads to destruction and many will travel it. But “narrow is the gate and difficult the way which leads to life eternal, and few [are just not willing] to find it” Matt 7:13-14 (KJV)

MY FRIENDS, DOES A RISEN SAVIOR ABIDE WITHIN OUR HEART?

Feb. 1, 2017

MY FRIENDS, DOES A RISEN SAVIOR ABIDE WITHIN OUR HEART?

empty-tomb[1]“Sir, we remembered that when He was still alive that deceiver said, ‘After three days I will rise [from the dead].’ Therefore, give orders to have the tomb made secure and safeguarded until the third day, otherwise His disciples may come and steal Him away and tell the people, ‘He has risen from the dead,’ and the last deception [the reporting of His resurrection] will be worse than the first, [the reporting that He is the Messiah].”

Pilate then said, “You have a guard [of soldiers]; go [with them], make the tomb as secure as you know how.” So they went and made the tomb secure, and along with [stationing] a guard of soldiers [to be on watch] they set a seal on the stone.” Matt 27:63-66 (AMP) And behold there was a great earthquake and the angel of the Lord descended from heaven and rolled back the stone from the tomb,” Matt. 28:2 (KJV)

And “That Deceiver” “or Imposter” as the Jewish elders and priest called Him, did rise from the grave. But to give credit to an Guard_b4_tomb_1443-729[1]empty tomb they still alleged that the disciples stole Christ body, paying large sums of money to those soldiers who laid watch to say the disciples stole Jesus body while they slept.

My friends, each day through God’s Spirit we must allow Him to take us beyond where we were the day before spiritually. If not, we become as the Jewish leaders who referred to Christ as an “Imposter.” Not capable of bringing about a change in our lives. But my friends, by beholding Jesus, as the only name, His death and His resurrection as our only avenue towards salvation, He than lives within our heart as the Holy Spirit carries on the work of transformation.

“And the believer [then] advances from grace to grace, from strength to strength, from character to character as [You and I then begin to] conform to the image of Christ, until in spiritual growth [we] attain unto the measure of the full stature in Christ. (E.G. White, Selected Messages, bk. 1, p 395) And that my friends, is when sin is eliminated from our life and we are then set free from the idea of Christ as an “imposter” incapable of making significant changes in our life.

photo3-300x173-300x173[1]And now, as Christ disciples we must not be afraid to carry our cross to wherever Christ leads as we tell the world, we serve a risen Savior and He lives within us, and He can also live within you if you believe. We as God’s children, cannot keep Christ in the tomb of our own complacency and unwillingness to change while allowing self to live within us instead of Christ.

Because one day soon Christ will come as a thief  to take only those who believe He lives, and who have allowed His Spirit to convict, instruct, restore, and empower each of us into the image of the one who will ascend from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and the trumpet call of God, as the dead in Christ rises first.

And then After that, [the righteous] who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage one another with these words.” [He lives]1 Thess. 4:16-18 (NIV)

MY FRIENDS, WHAT IS OUR CAUSE TODAY?

MY FRIENDS, WHAT IS OUR CAUSE TODAY?

christians_and_lions[1]“Great numbers were thrown to wild beasts or burned alive in the amphitheaters. Some were crucified; others were covered with the skins of wild animals and thrust into the arena to be torn by dogs [all for the glory of God is there not a cause]. (E.G. White, The Great Controversy p 40) And David said, “What have I done now? Is there not a cause?”  Then he turned from him toward another and said the same thing; 1 Samuel 17:29 (KJV) My friends, what is our cause today?

Are you willing to give it all for the Master? Christ Himself says very few will even try and seek a cause. For “wide is the gate, and broad is the way, and many are the travelers on their way to destruction; but the strait gate, is a narrow way, and seldom traveled, which leads to life eternal and few will find it. (Matt 7:13-14 (KJV)

Christ knew His cause, as He stood before Pilate who ask Christ “art thou a king”? Jesus answered, thou sayest that I am a king.thTY4O6F82 To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.” John 18:37 (KJV) My friends today, our cause must be all for the glory of God and His will for us as we carry our cross “for such a time as this.”

But many are losing the battle because Satan has placed many gods of this world before us that consumes our time, talents and money, which then even self becomes a god we worship. “And all the men of God fled and were dreadfully afraid. 1 Samuel 17:24 (KJV) But is there not a cause to stand up for God and fight. God has given us his “full armor” to stand firm against “principalities and the rulers of the darkness of this world.”

1 Cor. 15:57-58 (KJV) tells us, “thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.” But first we must give it all to the Master as God’s word and His Spirit becomes our five smooth stones and sling that will bring us victory against the enemy.

And Like David with a cause to serve God had no doubt in his mind that he would defeat Goliath and that it would be a great 257567714_640[1]victory for God. 1 Samuel 17:48 (KJV) tells us ” So it was, when the Philistine arose and came and drew near to meet David, that David hurried and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine.”

Oh what cause and a passion to serve as he ran quickly to serve God because his faith in God was strong, and he knew the victory had nothing to do with him, but it had everything to do with His passion for God who had done so much for Him. Then David threw the stone, and through the power of God’s Spirit, Goliath was defeated.

“And when they saw their champion was dead, they fled”1 Samuel 17:51 (KJV) “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” James 4:7 (KJV) This same power through God’s word and Spirit we also have if we believe with a cause.

MY FRIENDS, WILL THE STORMS KEEP US OUT OF THE PROMISE LAND?

imgresJesus entered the boat and his disciples followed. Suddenly a furious storm arose on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. Jesus was sleeping. The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!” He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm. The men were amazed and asked, “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!” Matt 8:23-27 (NIV)

My friends, followers of Christ, understand, Satan the great strategist of warfare creates the storms in our life. But Christ allows Satan to intimidate us with His antics while He prepares us for His kingdom. And as we cry out “Lord save us we’re going to drown” Our Savior rebukes the forces of evil and the storm becomes calm.

Maybe the storm is a health issue or a child on drugs or an abusive spouse or money problems or maybe we just can’t find our 09a58580keys. The size of the storms does not matter to Christ. “Oh we of little faith, why do we fear!!!” “God says He will never leave us or forsake us” what part of that promise are we uncomfortable with in believing.

Each day, when the storms of life rages on, when the days seem dark and lonely, and the “future perplexing,” and it seems there is no hope in sight and the world consumes our lives and our time at unparalleled proportions. Christ then becomes secondary or nonexistence in not only the “lost sheep” who we should be taking the good news too.

But many who sit in the pews of our churches each week looking for Christ to come as we sing; all to Jesus I surrender while putting forth no genuine effort into transforming our lives through Gods word and Spirit into the image of Christ. My friends, Christ is about to come and He’s looking for commitments to serve Him in these last days of life’s history where prophecy is being fulfilled daily.

But, I tell you, if we keep quiet, “the stones will cry out” “to the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” Matt 24:14 (NIV) And we all know perfectly well, when that day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night the world th7N2D2ODYwill be saying Peace and safety but it is counterfeit because sudden destruction will come upon the world “as pain upon a woman with child” and no one will escape whose hope and faith, is not anchored in the Lord and His word.

So friends ,“give diligence to make your calling and election sure” But if our choice is to ignore signs and prophecy in God’s word and say along with other scoffers who “follow their own evil desires saying “Where is this ‘coming’ He promised? Ever since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.”

But, they deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word the heavens came into being and the earth was formed out of water and by water. By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed.” 2 Peter 3:3-6 (NIV) And so will all scoffers, today who find no time to believe.

JAN. 27, YOUR DAILY CLIMB (DEVOTIONAL)

July 27, 2017

MY FRIENDS, THE LORD IS WITH US EVEN UNTO THE END!!

“Go ye therefore, teaching all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the f0f240ff74eb1c4eb2d5c83e42a30ba0[1]Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Matt. 28:19-20 (KJV) Christ the Creator of all mankind, informing His disciples “for such a time as this” that we “will receive anointing power as the Spirit of the Lord comes upon us.

[As we] “preach the gospel to the poor; and heal the brokenhearted while proclaiming liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind and setting at liberty those who are oppressed while proclaiming the acceptable year of the Lord.” Luke 4:18-19 (NKJV) Which can only happen if we deny self “and take up [our] cross and follow Christ [wherever He may lead.”] Matt. 16:24 (NIV)

My friends, this is God’s journey laid out for each of His faithful who are willing to go all the way with Him. But there must be a commitment to remain in the presence of God as we seek His Spirit daily through His word. “As soon as Judas took the bread, Satan entered into him. So Jesus told him, “What you are about to do, do quickly.”

But no one at the meal understood why Jesus said this to him. Since Judas had charge of the money, some thought Jesus wasc4960a7674f5f96520d5c1a02027c51f[1] telling him to buy what was needed for the festival, or to give something to the poor. As soon as Judas had taken the bread, he went out. And it was night.” John 13:27:30 (NIV)

My friends, at that point when Judas decided to go into the darkness and walk away from the presence of God is when even the “crumbs from the Masters table” was not sufficient enough to save Him. Today if in some way, I have miscalculated the events that are happening daily in our world and my Savior does not come in our life time.

We must still forever count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus our Lord: for whom [we must] suffer the loss of all things, and count them but dung that we win Christ.” Phil 3:8 (KJV) My friends we don’t have time to ponder over the regrets of this life and the things we did not accomplish or gain.

images27All that should matter today is taking up our cross and forever staying in the presence of the one who took up His cross for us. And if this is our commitment, then our Savior has made a commitment to us that He will be “with you [and I] always, even unto the end of the world and then He will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God and the dead in Christ will rise first.

After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore [we must] encourage one another with these words.” [Along with a shared vision] of our new home, “no eye has seen, and no ear has heard, and no human mind has conceived” the things God has prepared for those who love him.”1 Thess. 4:16-18 (NIV) 1 Cor. 2:9 (NIV)

MY FRIENDS, WE MAY BE WEARY IN GOD’S WORK, BUT NEVER OF IT!!

Jan. 25, 2017

MY FRIENDS, WE MAY BE WEARY IN GOD’S WORK, BUT NEVER OF IT!!

man-worshiping[1]“The Life of George Whitefield,” September 29th, 1770, one day being exceedingly weak and ill, but bent upon the continuance of his preaching work, Whitefield set out to Boston from Portsmouth. Upon his arrival a friend say’s “Sir, you are more fit to go to bed than to preach.” “True, sir,” replied Whitefield, and then, clasping his hands and looking up to heaven, he added.

“Lord Jesus, I am weary in Thy work but not of it. If I have not yet finished my course, let me go and speak for Thee once more in the fields, seal Thy truth, and come home and die.” And from there Whitefield went and preached. (Jackson Dodd, The Message and the Man p. 38) My friends because we are human and our battle is not against “flesh and blood”  but against a “vigilant, determined leader” who commands the forces of evil. The journey takes it’s toll, many will even surrender.

But, all who continue are probably battle weary, fatigue, and if not weary from bodily exhaustion, mental exertion from the battle. But, paraphrasing the three Hebrew boys our attitude must be, “but even if [my God does not come in my life time], I want the world to know, that I will not serve or bow down to any other gods but will stay focus until Christ says personally, well done, faithful servant!! Remember this is Christ battle.

The same Battle over our Salvation that was won at Calvary “while we were still sinners.” In addition, today, and until He images3comes and we see him for “whom our soul yearns” through our many tears and sleepless nights, we must never get weary of seeking souls for Christ.

And If we are serious about our Salvation and serving Christ there can be no reservation about where God needs us the most. Look around my friends the world is “like sheep without a shepherd.” Christ tells us personally, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” Matt 9:36-37 (ESV)

And those laborers are you and I. But we must have a deep passion to seek Gods Spirit daily through His word which then leads each of us to a personal relationship with Christ and a deep commitment to love and serve because Greater love hath no man than to lay down his life for his friends which is what Christ did for you and I. and this love must transcend from Him, through us, to the “lost sheep.”

faith-ms[1]“If someone says he has faith but have no works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you say to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

But someone will say, “You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.” James 2:14-26 (ESV) So as Christians our faith and works guide us as God’s Spirit, convicts, instructs, restores, and empowers each of us to be witnesses for Christ, first in [our communities then throughout] the uttermost part of the earth. And then my friends, “the end will come.”

MY FRIENDS, ACCORDING TO OUR FAITH OUR EYES WILL BE OPEN!

Jan. 24, 2017

MY FRIENDS, ACCORDING TO OUR FAITH OUR EYES WILL BE OPEN!

pottery-51

Like clay in the potter’s hand God’s Spirit will begin to shape our Character for God’s kingdom as we begin to recognize what “God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we ask or think.” And Friends, He is willing to do this in every situation, and circumstances of our life. And then, our faith and God’s word takes over and become the focal point of our life as we take up the “shield of faith, [so that we will] be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.” Eph. 6:16 (KJV)

That shield of faith also reminds us, nothing “is too hard for God?” Jeremiah 32:27 (KJV) Remember my friends when the Israelite’s left Egypt, Exodus 19:4 (KJV) tells us God said to His children “You yourselves have seen what I did in Egypt, and how I carried you on eagles wings and brought you to myself. “

In addition, He asks them to do something breathtaking and awe-inspiring. He ask for a commitment as they pledged their loyalty to Him. In Exodus 19:5-6 (KJV) God tells Israel, “now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession. Although the whole earth is mine, you will be for me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.”

Today God is asking us to stand up and pledge our loyalty to Him also because we are also his Children, and at times it will be the evidence imgres7[1]of things not seen, only our faith that will takes us from Egypt to the promise land or this Earth to Gods kingdom but, He who begun a good work in each of us “will carry it on to completion until the day of [His soon return.]” Phil 1:6 (NIV)

2,000 years ago, the transformation process started on Calvary. As the Potter, Christ continues to shape us daily. But in most cases we refused to allow Him to finish the process. But let’s focus on the fact that without any reservations it was always the touch of the Masters hand at each intersection of our life that got us through the storm.

And in-spite of Satan redirecting our footsteps which from all indications at that point we had become useless, and unworkable. This is where the clay becomes spoiled and unusable. As a teenager I remember taking pottery in art class and if the clay become unworkable, I would just discard, and start over.

Oh! But in the potter’s hands, we never become unusable because of God’s selfless, sacrificial, and unconditional love and His “willingness to move heaven and earth,” and “principalities, and the rulers of the darkness of this earth” to save you and I from the penalty of sin which is death so He never gives us.

imagesSo love shapes and reshapes our character as the Spirit of God convicts, instructs, restores, guides and empowers every area of our life until we become the image He is seeking. “Then He touched their eyes, saying, “according to your faith let it be to you.” And their eyes were opened.” Matt 9:29-30 (NKJV)

My friends, according to our Faith our eyes will be open and on our way to the promise land if we “say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and [we have no] doubt in our heart, but believe that what He says will come to pass, it will be done.” Mark 11:23 (ESV)

MY FRIENDS, OUR CREATOR WANTS TO TAKE US HOME, ARE WE READY?

Jan. 23, 2017

MY FRIENDS, OUR CREATOR WANTS TO TAKE US HOME, ARE WE READY?

“The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.” Ps. 119:130 (KJV) “If we do not what-is-the-holy-spirit2-740x405consult the Guidebook at every step, inquiring, Is this the way of the Lord? our words and acts will be tainted by selfishness. We shall forget God, and walk in paths that He has not chosen for us.” (E.G. White, My Light) Inviting Satan into our life at any level only causes us to plunge deeper and deeper into a place we eventually become comfortable with.

And if our sins are “not entirely eradicated,” they will continue to multiply and grow until death occurs. Remember when we give Satan permission to enter our life, he has the legitimate right to influence and harass us until we cave in and give him total access. My friends, God will not force us to Choose Him over Satan or overrule a person’s free will if we feel it is not necessary to be protected with the armor of the righteousness of Christ.

Being unprotected only gives Satan a legal claim to our mind and body because by our choice we have allowed Satanimages10 to be our master, and not God.  That is why it is important to know who we are in Christ. John 1:12 (KJV) says “but to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God” who “has rescued us and has drawn us to Himself from the dominion of darkness.

And has [also] transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption [because of His sacrifice, resulting in] the forgiveness of our sins [and the cancellation of sins’ penalty]. He is the exact living image [the essential manifestation] of the unseen God [the visible representation of the invisible], the firstborn [the preeminent one, the sovereign, and the originator] of all creation.” Col. 1:13-15 (AMP)

My friends, that is why such a price was paid for you and I at Calvary by “the originator of all creation,” Jesus Christ. And the plan of redemption tells us He will reach as far into the abyss to rescue us from the forces of evil. But, to be rescued my friends, we are saying we surrender our all to the one who gave it all for our Salvation.

“Now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ 6082_pSQHZk3vappears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.” 1 John 3:2 (KJV) The question we must now ask ourselves, how far are we from being like Christ?

Remember, love, humility, and purity, can only behold love humility and purity so that when someone sees the light of Christ shinning through us they will “marvel and take knowledge, “that we have been with Christ” the “originator of all creation.”

This is possible, “Because [we have] put off our old self, which belongs to our former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and [now we have been] renewed in the spirit of our minds, and [have] put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.” Eph. 4:22-24 (ESV) My friends, if we are not willing to give Christ our all today, the saddest words we will soon hear from the Originator of all Creation will be “I DO NOT KNOW YOU.”

MY FRIENDS, ARE WE WILLING TO GIVE OUR ALL FOR SALVATION?

Jan. 22, 2017

MY FRIENDS, ARE WE WILLING TO GIVE OUR ALL FOR SALVATION?

15133-armor-of-godAs a child of God seeking God’s kingdom we cannot afford to cave into any confrontation’s we have with Satan. But we must also understand “Fallen man is Satan’s lawful captive. The mission of Christ was to rescue him from the power of his great adversary. Man is naturally inclined to follow Satan’s suggestions, and he cannot successfully resist so terrible a foe unless Christ, the mighty Conqueror, dwells in him, guiding his desires, and giving him strength [daily].” (E. G. White)

Therefore we must put on the whole armor of God’s righteousness. In other words my friends, this is not the time too try an negotiate with Christ over what is appropriate to watch or not watch on TV, or how much money we should spend or not spend on self just because we have paid an honest tithe, or how much time we should spend studying Gods word and seeking His presence.

There is no part of our life that has any room for negotiating. Love paid to high a price so that we want have to negotiate our way into God’s kingdom, grace gives us only one path, “the straight and narrow.” In riding a airplane you notice the higher you go up, as you look down the smaller the world below you get’s.

So it is with a child of God, the Higher up or closer we get to Christ the smaller everything else gets on this earth, until 73263263.xQ8X1xXI.caymanisla_and002[1]nothing else is relevant except living in the presence of God, as we continue to get closer and closer to Him through His Spirit. Once again I will use an illustration I’ve use before and how easy it is too loose our focus or allow Satan to take our focus off of our salvation, right here at the threshold of the promise land.

“It was the final hole of the 1961 Masters tournament, Arnold Palmer has a one-stroke lead and had just hit a very satisfying tee shot. “I felt I was in pretty good shape.” As I approached my ball, I saw an old friend standing at the edge of the gallery. He motioned me over, stuck out his hand and said, “Congratulations.”

I took his hand and shook it, but as soon as I did, I knew I had lost my focus. On my next two shots, I hit the ball into a sand trap, then put it over the edge of the green. I missed a putt and lost the Masters.” My friends, what are we doing daily to take our focus off of what God’s will is for our life.

Wedding Feast Parable[1]Christ is coming back soon for a pure church. “Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.” Matt 5:8 (KJV) “But when the king came in to see the guests, He saw a man there who did not have on a wedding garment. So, He said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here without a wedding garment?’ And he was speechless.” Matt 22:11-12 (NKJV)

Which tells us many who say “Lord, Lord will also be speechless one day. But everyone who gave it all to Christ will be in that “great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and [praising the one who gave it all for our salvation]” Rev. 7:9 (NKJV)
