WHEN THE SUNSET OF OUR LIFE REACHES IT”S PEAK, HOW WILL THE ENDING OF OUR STORY READ?

When someone dies it allows each of us to look back over our life and focus on what our self worth will be to others in this short probationary period God has given us from birth to death to make a difference in the lives of others.

Consistent with this, what is the time span we are looking at. The Psalmist tells us “The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.” Ps. 90:10 (KJV)

As I begin to meditate on the meaning of the words, “if I can help someone along the way, then my living shall not be in vain.” It becomes personal as I look over my own life thinking, WHEN THE SUNSET OF MY LIFE REACHES ITS PEAK, HOW WILL THE ENDING OF MY STORY READ?

At most funerals the obituary that is read is all about one’s Character and the life they lived from day to day before they died. The question we must now ask our self, how can we make a difference in everyone’s lives along this journey Christ has placed us on.

In addition, how can our legacy have a positive and loving impact on others, IN THE FINAL SUNSET OF OUR LIFE. Now put yourself in the place of someone  reminiscing over your life, then tell yourself, if I am a Child of God who has lived by the precepts of God’s anointing power, then everyone will be able to say, I am a better person because we were a part of there lives.

My friends today through God’s anointing Spirit, focus on the talents and resources God has allowed you to have, and ask yourself how can I benefit those around me, as I Die to self daily while allowing Christ to transform, more and more of me, until He has total control and how can our passion be TO HELP SOMEONE ALONG THE WAY ON THIS JOURNEY TO THE PROMISE LAND.

My friends as we approach the final days of this life’s history there will be a sharp contrast from a child of God and those who follow the forces of evil. For Paul tells us in 2 Timothy 3:1-5: (the message bible) “Don’t be naive. There are difficult times ahead.

As the end approaches, people are going to be self-absorbed, money-hungry, self-promoting, stuck-up, profane, contemptuous of parents, crude, coarse, dog-eat-dog, unbending, slanderers, impulsively wild, savage, cynical, treacherous, ruthless, bloated windbags, addicted to lust, and allergic to God.

They’ll make a show of religion, but behind the scenes they’re animals. Stay clear of these people.” But A Child of God in these last days, our mission statement must come from Christ own words when He tells us.

“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:34-35 (KJV)

In addition, “Do you want to be shown, you foolish person, that faith apart from works is useless? Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered up his son Isaac on the altar? You see that faith was active along with his works, and faith was completed by his works; and the Scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness”—and he was called a friend of God. You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone.” James 2:20-24 (ESV)

My friends, “Watch what God does, and then you do it, like children who learn proper behavior from their parents. Mostly what God does is love you. Keep company with him and learn a life of love. Observe how Christ loved us. His love was not cautious but extravagant. He didn’t love in order to get something from us but to give everything of himself to us,” Ephesians 5:1-2 (The Message Bible)

And if we Love like that. AT THE SUNSET OF OUR LIFE WHEN IT HAS REACHED IT”S PEAK, THE ENDING OF OUR STORY WILL READ HE LOVED?

MY FRIENDS, THE ANTICIPATION, CAN YOU ALSO HEAR THE SOUND AND SEE THE VISION?

“The Journey my friends we are almost at an end “I can say with full assurance “we are close enough to hear the sound of that mighty rushing wind and it’s closer now than it’s ever been. I can almost hear the trumpet as Gabriel sounds the chord at the midnight cry. And soon we’ll be going home”

Can you hear the sound, can you look over your life and read the long list of sins that at times  gave you the feeling of those who have no hope. But today we tell ourself, we hear the voice of our FRIEND, our SAVIOR, our MEDIATOR, our ADVOCATE and our JUDGE the love of our life say NOT GUILTY.

AMAZING GRACE HOW SWEET THE SOUND. 13.1 miles, a half marathon, the closer you get to the finish line the anticipation, the adrenaline that flows through every fiber of you being, then you see a sign that says 3 miles to go.

Not long now and then you see the crowds, the cheers as you move down that final stretch, you cross over the finish line, it now dawns on you, I’ve made it. I am a conqueror, such a small feat when you know there are runners that have accomplish far greater achievement, but today it’s personal, it’s about you, it’s your victory.

The faith in knowing nothing was powerful enough to defeat self from finishing. The time, preparation, endurance and the heartfelt passion to make it happen and no one can ever take this victory away.

You receive a medal, you place it around your neck, it doesn’t say that you came in first placed or finished in any particular time frame, what it says is you finished, you crossed over with your torch still in hand.

“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? …..Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. ”Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:31-39

My Friends all who seek God’s kingdom can say with full assurance that the ending too our story has been written, we can now say, we hear the sound of those trumpets because we are “confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:” Phil. 1:6 (KJV)

Do you have the passion to finish, if you do God is looking for workers for “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.” At this point in your life Christ must become the center of all that’s good and perfect, to be Christ disciple you must allow self to die as you deny everything that you hold dear to you in this world and take up your cross as you say “NOT MY WILL, BUT THY WILL BE DONE.

In addition, if you “seek first God’s kingdom and his righteousness, all these things will be given to you” and that includes life eternal. If you have such faith and know you can endure long enough to cross over the finish line, then you cam now begin to hear the sounds of a great multitude, that have also crossed over with torches still in hand which no man can number, of all nations, kindreds, people and tongues, and you can also vision yourself standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in a white robe and with a palm your in  hand. “SOON AND VERY SOON MY FRIENDS”!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MY FRIENDS, BREAKING NEWS, “KNOW THAT HE IS NEAR, AT THE VERY GATES”

“From the fig tree learn its lesson: as soon as its branch becomes tender and puts out its leaves, you know that summer is near. So also, when you see these things taking place, you KNOW THAT HE IS NEAR, AT THE VERY GATES. Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place…” Mark 13:28:31(ESV)

My friends once again, we have “Breaking News” and I ask you today how many more do you need to see come cross your flat screens before you realize what it all means in regards to your Salvation.

Ask yourself, what is salvation worth to you “When you reach that FINAL SUNSET and you look into HIS EYES, will the tears you shed be tears of joy or would they be your last goodbye.” It will be a tragedy to get to that day that you waited for all your life, and realize that all you had accumulated and accomplished on this earth “COULD NOT COMPARE TO ETERNAL LIFE”

And now it is all lost because the god of this world continued to lead you down the path of unrighteousness, for narrow is the road to life eternal and very few will find it because very few are willing to allow self to die and let Christ take full control.

What must we still gain on this earth, hasn’t God told us in 1 Cor. 2:9 (NKJV) “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

Today we stand at the threshold of the promise Christ revealed to us in John 14:1-3 “Let not your heart be troubled…. he is going to prepare a place for us,” and once all preparations have been made, then our Father will say to His Son let’s go get my Children.

So friends, I have no reservation about what I am about to say and I pray you feel the same, “BREAKING NEWS,” all preparations have been made in God’s pure and holy kingdom. All the jewels have been set in the entry gates, walls and foundations, The golden streets and sea of glass are complete.

All the fruit trees have been planted, all the mansions have been constructed and furnished, the heavenly choir have no more songs to learn, they wait patiently along with the “thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand of angels” for the grand finale when the “new Jerusalem, [will] come down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.” Rev. 21:2 (NKJV)

But, oh the mercy and grace of our God who knows there are a few of his children that still stand at the door of indecision as he pleads “come after me,..[deny yourself] and take up [your] cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life  will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul?…..” Matt. 16:24-26 (ESV)

My friends it is imperative as Christians that we remain Focused as we surrender our all to the Master. In addition, when that happens it all becomes about trusting and having faith in a God, that has done it all for our Salvation. It must become all about him and what our required mandates are in finishing God’s agenda here on earth.

We each have our own responsibility as leaders to lead out in bringing Christ name to the forefront of the mission fields which is the space and territory we all live in. We are God’s “BOOTS ON THE GROUND” We are the chosen generation for “SUCH A TIME AS THIS.”

Just Like “in the days before the flood, [when the world was] eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, [up] until the day that Noah entered the ark, [they] did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.” Matt. 24:38-39 (NKJV)

If you seek Salvation and the kingdom of God, “BREAKING NEWS” WE ARE AT THE DOOR, so now we must all step out in faith today and ask our Savior “Not my will but thy will be done”

MY FRIENDS, OUR SAVIOR IS LOOKING FOR “BOOTS ON THE GROUND”

“BOOTS ON THE GROUND”; Are ground forces actually fighting in a war or conflict, rather than troops not engaged or individuals waiting on a sign. My friends, the sign is, prophecy is being fulfilled before our eyes each day, and God needs workers.

The conflict begin over 6,000 years ago when Satan said in His heart ‘I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God, I will sit on the mount of assembly In the recesses of the north. ‘I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.’ Is.14:13-14 (NASV)

And then the controversy begins between good and evil that lead to Michael and his angels [who] fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer.

So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.” Rev. 22:7-9 (NASV) but “All who are heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified with him” as we carry the good news of Christ soon coming, to a world where the god of this world and his angels now resides.

The soldier’s first article of faith is summed up nowhere more eloquently than in an 1865 letter from William Tecumseh Sherman to U.S. Grant: “I knew wherever I was that you thought of me, and if I got in a tight place you would come–if alive.”

This is the unwritten, unspoken but unbreakable contract of the battlefield: You will leave no one, dead or alive, in the hands of the enemy.” And there is only one way to go in and rescue a fallen comrade and that is “BOOTS ON THE GROUND”

There must be an consorted effort as one, to take it upon ourselves, to take the power Christ has given each of us through His Spirit and to move quickly because the “angels [are] standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth” waiting for God’s children to respond to the call of the Master to “go ye into all the world. “telling them “there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

And that name is Jesus Christ and He will be here soon. My friends, OUR BOOTS will not always be successful, and most of the time our labor will not be apparent in this life, But the promises of God tells us “Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done.” [in carrying out His mandate, in telling the world of His saving grace and mercy.] Rev. 22:12 (NASV)

In addition, as the world’s redeemer, Christ was constantly confronted by Satan, that what He was trying to accomplish would fail. But He would not be discouraged. For He would forever stay focused on His mission, which was Calvary and our Salvation.

So therefore our responsibility  and duty as Christians as we enter into the last phase of this life’s history before Christ soon return, is to make saving souls our No. one priority. My friends success can only be obtained with “BOOTS ON THE GROUND”.

Consistent with this, It will never be accomplished in front of our televisions or shopping at the Mall. As Christians we must have a passion engrossed with love, and A Heartfelt and concentrated zeal for saving souls as we follow Christ mandate To take the “Gospel of the kingdom throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”

When we as Christians follow the course set before us by God, our focused must never waiver it must be all about Christ and His will for us in spreading the good news of His soon coming. as He uses our BOOTS AS A SOURCE THROUGH HIS SPIRIT TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN.

MY FRIENDS, DOES THE THRILL AND ECSTASY OF THIS WORLD SEEM MORE APPEALING THEN SALVATION?

As we move closer and closer to Christ soon return. Satan continues to try and weaken our SPIRITUAL IMMUNE SYSTEM which Christ has placed within us to detect good from evil and the propensity to read or hear that unknown voice and then determine a proposed course of action through Christ, that determines whether that voice is divine, or satanic.

My friends, today lets allow God’s Spirit to direct our thought’s, as we focus on our life and where we came from and where we are going if we are a child of God for each of us have traveled different roads to get to where we are today, but by the grace of God as we close the final chapters of this life, our ending will all be the same, ETERNAL LIFE through our faith, and Gods free gift, Salvation.

So let’s tell ourselves today God knows my story, because I know how far his hands reached to pull me from Satan’s influence and today we must say with no reservation that our tears are real, our pain and hurt is real, our scares are real and our trials and tribulation are real.

That is why our road to salvation and eternal life must become real also and nothing, or anyone should cause us to deviate from the course set before us by Christ, no matter how difficult the struggle, or how pleasing the voice my seem that says try it, you will like it.

And today tell yourself, my God has done what seemed like the impossible, and performed many miracles in my life, and cast out demons, and fought battles, and healed my broken heart, and cured my diseases, and protected me, and watched my back in places that even today we say to ourselves, did I really go there, did I really do that.

I remember as if it was yesterday, getting this brand new bike for Christmas and riding it down a hill as fast as I had ever been before in my life. Oh the thrill and ecstasy of going to a place I had never been before, but suddenly I was propelled off the road into a tree that would not move.

I was badly scratched and bleeding, and  my new bike was twisted and bent beyond recognition from the impact of hitting that tree. But up until that point as I was traveling on the way down I was unwilling to think about where this new found joy was taking me.

I was just not willing to give up this new found ecstasy and listen to that voice, that I am sure told me at the time don’t go there. I learned, however, that the loss of something dear to me was more painful than those few seconds of pleasure. but by the grace of God, I was a survivor.

A lesson I have continually had to relive and relearn in so many other situations and circumstances throughout my life. For if you are one of God’s Children we all must negotiate around the ecstasy of sin that Satan places before us each day we live on this earth.

In addition, we must continually give up parts of ourselves because the thrill of perdition seems more pleasing then to slow Down and allow the transforming of God’s character to take effect. My friends we see, we watch, we hear, as sin abounds, oh but the ecstasy of sin the thrill of it all, even though we realize any day now God will say it ends today, as He tells His Son who sits at His right side.

Let’s go get My Children and he or she that is unjust, let them be unjust still: and he or she which is filthy, let them be filthy still: and he or she that is righteous, let them be righteous still: and he or she that is holy, let them be holy still. For eternity awaits the righteous MY FRIENDS ARE YOU GETTING READY, OR DOES THE THRILL AND ECSTASY OF THIS WORLD SEEM MORE APPEALING?
