Psalm 33:11 “The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the plans of his heart to all generations.”

MY FRIENDS OUR GOD AND HIS LOVE NEVER CHANGES!!!

Hebrews 13:8 (ESV) tells us “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.” God is UNCHANGING in his WORD, CHARACTER, PURPOSE, and LOVE. But as a child in the image of God we usually look at one situation in our life endowed with success, and happiness as blessings from God, and another situation darkened with trials, and failures as somehow the work of Satan.

My friends why such a changing attitude if we seek to be like a CHANGELESS and PASSIONATE GOD. “But the steadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear him, and his righteousness to children’s children,” Ps. 103:17 (ESV)

That promise allows each of us as a Child of God to say I can be UNCHANGEABLE in my praise to God no matter what happens in my life because I serve an UNCHANGEABLE God. The world changes daily because the god of this world brings about unrest daily but my God tells me

“If you receive my words and treasure up my commandments with you, making your ear attentive to wisdom and inclining your heart to understanding; yes, if you call out for insight and raise your voice for understanding, if you seek it like silver and search for it as for hidden treasures, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.” Prov. 2:1-5 (ESV)

This is where I need you to focus on today in that God’s Word, like Him is CHANGELESS for In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1 (ESV) So if God is  CHANGELESS His Word is also CHANGELESS since He is the Word.

And “If you receive my words and treasure up my commandments… and seek it like silver and search for it as for hidden treasures” then our love for God and serving him will also NEVER CHANGE. And as Christians we must never lose site of Calvary.

And never lose site of a UNCHANGING God who put it all on the line to send his UNCHANGING Begotten son, In the midst of affliction, and a world marred by sin and the forces of evil so that we may focus on His CHANGELESS Character for our Salvation.

Yes as A child of God I can say My God NEVER CHANGES. Men have tried to destroy His CHANGELESS CHARACTER but He forever lives on in the hearts of His FAITHFUL. At creation He was the Alpha  Gen 1:1 tells us “in the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth”

And in the end He will still be the same UNCHANGING God and God along when He enters the clouds to take His Children back with Him. Mark 13:26-27 (NKJV) tells us And then they will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory. And then he will send out the angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of heaven.

And that my friends will be the end of the controversy as His CHANGELESS LOVE Comes to take his redeemed back to His Kingdom “Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish this. Is. 9:7 (NIV)

My friends “He is as far above all His critics as the heavens are above the earth Jesus Christ character is perfect He never CHANGES in His love for us and what he will do for His Faithful Children.” Today ask yourself, have I allowed the god of this world to transform my Characters “Setting my mind on the CHANGING things of this world and “not on things above and the UNCHANGING LOVE OF GOD.”

In 1 Kings 2:3 (NKJV) it tells us to “observe what the Lord your God requires: Walk in obedience to him, and keep his decrees and commands, his laws and regulations, as written in the Law of Moses. Do this so that you may PROSPER in all you do and wherever you go.

MY FRIENDS DON’T ALLOW THE LACK OF SELF CONTROL DETERMINE YOUR DESTINY!!!

We tell ourselves our eating habits could not be a sin. BUT Remember our “Socially Acceptable Sins” the over indulgence of appetite would fit into that category which is a sin we try not to acknowledge as a sin, but one neverless. Let’s see what Paul says

“But when the Holy Spirit controls our lives he will produce this kind of fruit in us: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,  gentleness and SELF CONTROL; and here there is no conflict with the law” Gal. 5:22-23 (LB)

SELF CONTROL-is to control or restraint of oneself or one’s actions and feelings. Today we will deal with the LACK OF SELF CONTROL of our eating habits. Remember Christ was tempted in appetite, But His words to Satan are one’s we as Christians should all use as The Holy Spirit prepares our Mind and Body for God’s pure and holy kingdom.

“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word (and not just the words we deem appropriate for our lifestyle) but every word of God” as we allow the power of His WORD to dictate our eating habits through His Holy Spirit.

As God’s chosen generation we should learn for ourselves what we should eat, and what kinds of food best nourish the entire mind and body, and then follow the dictates of reason and conscience through the renewal of God’s Spirit in our eating habits.

Our bodies are not a garbage disposal that we can place anything in. But, “do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body. 1 cor. 6:19-20 (ESV)

“Christ has left us a most important lesson. He would lay before us the danger of making our eating and drinking paramount. He presents the result of unrestrained indulgence of appetite. The moral powers are enfeebled, so that sin does not appear sinful. Crime is lightly regarded, and passion controls the mind, until good principles and impulses are rooted out, and God is blasphemed. All this is the result of eating and drinking to excess. This is the very condition of things which Christ declares will exist at His second coming.”(E.G. White Councils on diets and foods)

Remember my friends in every area of our life the god of this world tries to gain entrance “Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand” Eph. 6:13 (KJV)

Each day we must allow self to die in some area of our life. And most of us go kicking, and screaming to keep from letting go of improper eating habits which as a child of God should be regulated from a moral, and spiritual standpoint, that is based on Christ example.

So we are to be temperate in all things, because an incorruptible crown, and eternal life, is before us. “So just eat that which is best to sustain a proper physical, mental, and spiritual fortitude in all you do in the sight of God, as we race for that eternal crown.”

Paul states in 1 Cor. 10:31 (ESV) “Therefore whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” And as a LEADER IN CHRIST ARMY as we deliver God’s mandate to the world we must “discipline our body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others we ourselves should be disqualified.” 1 Cor. 9:27 (ESV)

Remember God is looking for strong WARRIORS in every area of one’s Life as we enter the threshold of the promise land. By attempting to fill that inner emptiness with improper eating habits, we are only allowing satan access to our MIND and BODY.

For we can only become conquerors in all areas of our life through Him that loved us enough to go to Calvary on our behalf. And friends remember “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can ENDURE it.” 1 Cor. 10:13 so please MY FRIENDS DON’T ALLOW THE LACK OF SELF CONTROL DETERMINE YOUR DESTINY

ABSORB GOD’S WORD AND HIS SPIRIT WITH A PASSION!!!

For the WORD OF GOD is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Heb. 4:12 (ESV)

My friends we are moving into UNCHATERED TERRITORY when we look at the god of this world last ditch effort to influence situations, and circumstances on the world stage from the unrest and turmoil of ideas and hopes from one continent to the next. From city to farmlands.

From Christianity, to Muslims, Atheists, Catholics all seeking an agenda. Global warming to the Aids epidemic, millions of refugees without a home, poverty abounds as many go to bed hungry each night while billions are spent on the Winter and summer games in various countries.

It is all unraveling, and no one will acknowledge that the prophecy of Daniel and the Revelations and Matt 24 are being fulfilled in our generation. That is why my friends it is very pertinent that if you are a Christian, and a Child of God that you not wait for the last curtain call.

But begin to ABSORB GOD’S WORD AND HIS SPIRIT WITH A PASSION, AS YOU SEEK SALVATION. What could be more important then your Salvation. Webster tells us ABSORB is “TO INVOLVE THE FULL ATTENTION OF” that means everything else is secondary.

For “If God’s WORD were studied as it should be, men and women would have the open mind, excellent character, and firm purpose that are rarely seen in these times. No other book can satisfy the questionings of the mind or the cravings of the heart. As we acquire a knowledge of God’s Word and practice it in our lives.” (E.G. White)

If your walk is with God and His word Daily, and you have allowed His Word and Spirit to infiltrate your mind and body, then you will fully understand that God’s only purpose is to “carry out what He has started until completion, until the day of Christ Jesus.”

God also wants you to recognize what transforming and exhilarating effect His WORD and Spirit will have on your life “Your words were found, and I ate them, and your words became to me a joy and the delight of my heart,…” Jer.15:16 (ESV)

And God’s WORD is also what we build our faith on to finish this journey. Paul tells us in Romans 10:17 “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the WORD of God.” It is time each of God’s Children take up the reins of Leadership in our own right as we “Study to show thyself approved unto God.”

As leaders for Christ we must always influence others as we “receive power, from knowing and digesting God’s  Word and then through God’s Spirit He will TRAIN our MINDS and BODIES into being effective, and sincere leaders for Christ.

And this can only happen if you have ABSORB GOD’S WORD AND HIS SPIRIT WITH A PASSION. As God’s chosen we all need to come to terms with the fact that if Satan knows he only has but a short time before Christ comes and his reign on this earth will be finish.

What is blinding our sights to the fact that we DON’T KNOW. And if we do, what is holding us back from a full commitment to give it all to the Master. As we enter into the final days of this life’s history, let’s CONSISTENTLY STUDY THE WORD OF GOD and seek His Spirit daily, as we sustain a heartfelt prayer Life, while allowing the light of Gods Spirit to be open before those we Share the knowledge His word with.

My friends we are on the threshold of the promise land. Our desire, our goals, our passion, our focus, our faith, our endurance, our prayers, and the never ending study of God’s word, once again must become a PASSION that will forever “INVOLVE OUR FULL AND UNDIVIDED ATTENTION” until we can see our Savior face to face and he can tell us “Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!” Matt. 25:23(NIV)

“BUT HE KNOWS THE WAY THAT I TAKE”

“But he knows the way that I take; when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold.” Job 23:10 (NIV)

“But if I go to the east, he is not there; if I go to the west, I do not find him. When he is at work in the north, I do not see him; when he turns to the south, I catch no glimpse of him. Job 23:8-9 (NIV) “BUT HE KNOWS THE WAY THAT I TAKE”

“Blessed assurance” in knowing “It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.” Deu. 31:8 (ESV) My friends as we travel this Journey Christ has placed us on there are some mountains that seems impossible to CONQUER.

Whether work, health, school, family, marriage, or just organizing one’s life from day to day. But you search for Christ in the midst of it all, and it seems sometimes like he has gone into another room and closed the door. But friends believe me God is TESTING His Children’s  ENDURANCE

Matt. 24:21-22 (NKJV) tells us “For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.”

Where I need you to focused today is, in spite of what occurs in our life, let’s thank God for His love that is PREPARING US for He KNOWS THE WAY THAT WE TAKE. He is guiding us for “The mind of man plans his way, But the LORD directs his steps” (NASB)

So my friends we must wait for God’s ENDURANCE TEST to run its course in GOD’S OWN TIME. But “he is watching, like the watchman that waits for the sunrise when his shift ends, and he can finally close his eyes and rest. Waiting is inseparable from HOPE, and FAITH in God’s word.”

2 Timothy 2:3-6 (ESV) tells us “Share in suffering as a good soldier of Christ Jesus.  No soldier gets entangled in civilian pursuits, since his aim is to please the one who enlisted him. An athlete is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules. It is the hard-working farmer who ought to have the first share of the crops. Think over what I say, for the Lord will give you understanding in everything.”

“AND THEN WHEN HE HAS TESTED US WE WILL COME FORTH AS GOLD” Remember When Job’s hope had disappeared and everything he held dear to him was lost, “Job 1:20-22  tells us “At this, Job got up and tore his robe and shaved his head. Then he fell to the ground in worship and said:

“Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will depart. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised.” Job’s faith in God tells me that Yes “Weeping may ENDURE for a night.” but He will get us THROUGH AS WE HEAD TO THE PROMISE LAND.

That statement gives me a reason to shout and praise God’s name, before my joy in the morning even arrives, because God’s promises tells us our weeping will only last through the night. God has to test His Faithful who are Candidates for the PROMISE LAND.

So if you have not Studied and shown yourself approved unto God,” and allowed God’s Spirit to completely transform you in all areas of your life you will be like A sower who went out to sow his seed. And as he sowed, some fell along the path and was trampled underfoot, and the birds of the air devoured it.

And some fell on the rock, and as it grew up, it withered away, because it had no moisture. And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up with it and choked it. And some fell into good soil and grew and yielded a hundredfold.” Luke 8:5-8 (ESV) BECAUSE THEY WERE TESTED AND TRIED BY GOD AND CAME FORTH AS GOLD.

TOTAL COMMITMENT TO CHRIST, THERE IS NO OTHER WAY!!!

The Child of God who continues to run from a TOTAL COMMITMENT to Christ. Who always tells themselves I have time to change, are usually lead by Satan to go as far as possible away from Christ until their spiritual compass no longer points to the loving arms of the Good Shepherd.

Satan’s stronghold over us begins when we give him permission to enter our lives through those “SOCIALLY ACCEPTABLE SINS” that the god of this world has told us they are really not sin, you aren’t hurting anyone, you know SCANDAL comes on tonight so you make the choice to spend your evening in front of the TV and not in seeking God’s PRESENCE in His word.

Remember God wants all of us even our TIME. If we are not forever protected by the armor of Christ salvation, we then allow the forces of evil to enter and even though we go to church each week, we visit the sick, feed the homeless, are on the deaconess and deacon board, we have still not made a TOTAL COMMITMENT to give it all to the Master.

And Satan then has a legal claim to us because of the choices that we make. ‘That’s why it is important to know who we are in Christ. John 1:12 (NKJV) tells us “But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.” Next as a child of God what are our rights and privileges.

Psalm 8:4-6 (NKJV) says “What is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you visit him? For you have made him a little lower than the angels, and you have crowned him with glory and honor. You have made him to have dominion over the works of your hands; you have put all things under his feet.”

And then what power, and authority do we have as God’s children against Satan. 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 (ESV) tells us For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ.”

As “heirs of God and joint-heirs with Jesus Christ” it is important to pray without ceasing, for ourselves and others we love, who may be blinded by the stronghold of Satan and can’t recognize the forces of evil to get free. As Christians and believers in Jesus Christ and Him crucified, we have the power through Christ His word and Spirit to take authority over the enemy.

By calling out the name of Jesus when we see ourselves drifting as Peter. “When he saw the wind, he was afraid, and beginning to sink he cried out, “Lord, save me.” Jesus immediately reached out his hand and took hold of him Matt 14:30-31 (ESV) Remember Our Lord and Savior has proclaim “liberty to all who are held captive by Satan.”

My friends God’s Word is like a mirror to our lives. but we must realize as we look into that mirror today, how far short we have fallen from the glory and purity of God and of the high standard set for us, which is the cross.  The believer who longs for a personal revival Must decide that they want a PASSION for the PRESENCE of GOD, and a TOTAL COMMITMENT to his will.

God is looking for DEDICATED SOLDIERS as we enter the threshold of the PROMISE LAND “The greatest want of the world is the want of men, and women who will not be bought or sold; men and women who in their inmost souls are true and honest; who do not fear to call sin by its right name; whose conscience is as true to duty as the needle to the pole; who will stand for the right though the heavens fall. His law is the great standard of right, and with it every act of life must be compared in that day when God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good or evil. Purity of heart will lead to purity of life. All excuses for sin are vain. Who can plead for the sinner when God testifies against him?” (E.G.White) SO TOTAL COMMITMENT TO CHRIST, THERE IS NO OTHER WAY!!!

“WILT THOU BE MADE WHOLE TODAY”?

Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity 38 years. Jesus saw him lying there, and asked, WILT THOU BE MADE WHOLE? My friends How bad do you want the transforming power of God’s Spirit to MAKE YOU WHOLE to give you a new life and Character in the Image of the Good Shepherd Himself.

That is where I need you to take your Focus today. Christ knew the man had no business waiting for any movement of water for 38 years, simply because Christ knew this water had no supernatural power to heal. The very source of creation, and life itself stood right in front of him, not in any body of water.

The scriptures tells us “Come to me, ALL who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Matt. 11:28-30 (ESV)

I am not sure if this man had any relationship with Christ before this point the scriptures does not say. But what is so Great about our Savior, is He was still willing to SAVE and SERVE all who comes to him with a sincere and contrite heart.

“THERE IS NO GREATER LOVE” “I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners and need to repent.” Luke 5:32 (NKJV) today our prayers must be MY GOD “ABOVE ALL ELSE GIVE ME YOURSELF THROUGH YOUR SPIRIT AND MAKE ME WHOLE”

And once you have found The saving grace of Christ. FOREVER FOCUS ON  Ps.119 1-8 (TLB) “Happy are all who perfectly follow the laws of God. Happy are all who search for God and always do his will, rejecting compromise with evil and walking only in his paths.

You have given us your laws to obey oh, how I want to follow them consistently. Then I will not be disgraced, for I will have a clean record. After you have corrected me, I will thank you by living as I should! I will obey!

Oh, don’t forsake me and let me slip back into sin again” “For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light.” Ps. 36:9 oh! how many will loose sight of the Saving grace of God because you did not recognize the fountain of life was right in your PRESENCE but you did not recognige it because you were blimded by the god of this world and what he had to offer.

As you think of your own lives, we search for answers, and solutions to our problems when Christ has already solved them 2,000 years ago, and today he is standing at the door of our hearts knocking for us to let Him in, and wondering, why we have not responded when He continues to ask us WILT THOU BE MADE WHOLE

(Psalm 46:10). Tells us “The answer to our questions, our decisions, is always Christ. He is the Front Gate of the path that follows the right decision.” Is it possible to be paralyzed in sin for so many years and just not want TO BE MADE WHOLE by the Masters touch?

Maybe the man like ourselves had just gotten used to his way of life. The pool was a familiar, and safe environment. Have we as Christians gotten familiar to our environment of sin, that we don’t recognize Christ or His presence among us.

Are we spiritually sick? Living such a comfortable and easy life that we don’t want to change or BE MADE WHOLE. Have we become so complacent, lackadaisical, and self-indulgent, that we have forgotten how to respond to Jesus PRESENCE AMONG US.

When Christ ask the man WILT THOU BE MADE WHOLE he should have cried out “Yes! Yes! Yes! My God Yes! I would give anything to be healed. especially by the touch of the Master. For 38 years he was looking for something that He could have had weather he was sick or not and did not know it But in Gods Mercy and Grace He did MAKE HIM WHOLE. My friends will you respond today also and LET CHRIST MAKE YOU WHOLE before it is to late.

MY FRIENDS “UNLESS YOU STAY IN THE SHIP, YOU CANNOT BE SAVED”!!!

“And as the sailors were seeking to escape from the ship, and had lowered the ship’s boat into the sea under pretense of laying out anchors from the bow, Paul said to the CENTURION and the soldiers, “Unless these men stay in the ship, you cannot be saved.” Acts 17:30-31 (ESV)

My friends I urge you to read Acts 27 and 28 where it tells of Paul’s voyage to Rome as a prisoner to stand before Caesar for accusation “of stirring up riots among the Jews all over the world.” When in reality it was all about Jesus Christ and Him Crucified, and the Jews continued hatred towards the name of Christ, “the only name by which they could have received Salvation.”

But where I need you to focus today is the statement Paul made to the CENTURION in the verse above “UNLESS THESE MEN STAY IN THE SHIP, YOU CANNOT BE SAVED.” Today we are going to make the SAVING GRACE and MERCIES OF GOD and His SPIRIT the ship, we all must stay in, in order to receive Salvation.

And as we move deeper and deeper out into the open waters of life, and the rain and storms seems to never cease, while Satan is beckoning us to seek refuge in him. That is when more then ever, we must realize we are only SAFE WHEN WE STAY IN THE SHIP and keep our eyes focused on the one who Paid it all for our Salvation.

“So God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for REFUGE can have great confidence as we hold to the HOPE that lies before us. This HOPE is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary.” Heb. 6:18-19 (ESV)

That verse my friends is where I need you to focus also, and that is when the ship is tossed in the raging storms of life, and all hope seems lost, God’s PROMISES and OATH tells us that HE is our HOPE, and He is also a STRONG and TRUSTWORTHY ANCHOR that will also lead us to His INNER SANCTUARY.

At one time this INNER SANCTUARY was sacred and only the High Priest could enter, but now if we stay in the Ship, all will be lead through FAITH, and ENDURANCE into the very PRESENCE of God, “behind the veil and into the Holy of Holies. Unlike Israel’s High Priest, we are to enter BOLDLY.”

“Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us IN OUR TIME OF NEED,” Hebrews 4:16 (NIV) and when that ship seems to be sinking with no rescue in sight, and “when the storms of life are raging, and the billows roll, He shall hide each of us safe in His caring, and loving arms.”

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” 1 Peter 1:3 So my friends our LIVING HOPE lies at the CROSS and the RESURRECTION of Christ.

For the “Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.” Deut. 31:8 (ESV)  for God’s FAITHFUL who he has CHOSEN to serve Him and finish up his MANDATE here on earth who STAYS ON THE SHIP, and encourages others to STAY ON THE SHIP as we spread the good news of the gospel, He will lead to LIFE ETERNAL in His pure and holy kingdom.

Friends “the curtain has been pulled back  by God’s holy angels” “As we see that lawlessness continues to abound, and the love of many continues to grow cold.”  But for each of us who STAYS IN THE SHIP one day soon “the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ will come” and His reward will be with Him, and He will give to each person according to” if they STAYED IN THE SHIP OR NOT.

DOES GOD EXPECT PERFECTION IN THE 21^ST CENTURY FROM HIS CHILDREN?

Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him. James 1:12 (ESV)

Is God expecting PERFECTION, IN THE 21ST CENTURY FROM HIS CHILDREN? Or are we given a pass because Satan has made that thin line between good and evil so blurred right here before Christ return. My friends first let’s see what the scriptures says

“For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the PRESENT AGE,” Titus 2:11-12(ESV) PRESENT AGE Sounds like the 21^st century to me.

So let’s focus our attention today  on our Savior “For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are, yet he did not sin.” Heb. 4:15 (NIV)

My friends God’s only begotten Son set the bar 2000 years ago with a flawless Character, and a perfection, and love that cannot be duplicated by any created being and it all climaxed on Calvary. But what does God expect from His Children IN THE 21ST CENTURY.

How do we follow Christ’s example when we were “brought forth in iniquity, and in sin did our mother’s conceive us.” Psalm 51:5 (ESV) words spoken from the Palmist Himself David who must have come close to PERFECTION for God said he was a man after His on heart.

But wasn’t David a murderer and an adulterer. Imperfect as David was still a man after God’s own heart. Well maybe the High tech 21^st century got to have it now Christian has a chance. But let’s first go over a few crucial steps, starting with the FIRST, we must have a CONTRITE, and HUMBLE heart.

“For thus says the One who is high and lifted up, who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “All these things my hand has made, and so all these things came to be, declares the Lord. But this is the one to whom I will look: he who is humble and contrite in spirit and trembles at my word.” Isaiah 66:2 (ESV)

And next we must be REPENTANT. “The time promised by God has come at last!” he announced “The Kingdom of God is near! REPENT of your sins and believe the Good News!” Mark 1:15 (NLT) My friends we then forever must PRAISE his name in WORSHIP for all He has done.

“Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his PRESENCE with singing! Know that the Lord, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.” Ps.100:1-5 (ESV)  and finally WE MUST SERVE as CHRIST SERVED.

“Though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the FORM OF A SERVANT, being born in the likeness of men. Phil. 2:6-7(ESV)  Yes my friends We may fall down and make terrible mistakes like David.

But as a Child of God how do we recover from our fall is what God is looking at as candidates for his kingdom, as we get up, remain FOCUSED, and continue on this journey God has placed us on. While we continue to seek with PASSION, to be in the PRESENCE of Christ daily.

These few steps my friends is what God expects, NOT PERFECTION but a HEART that never stops seeking Christ, and as God sees our PASSION, FAITHFULNESS and ENDURANCE in spite of the adversity each day from the god of this world.

God will say to His Children one day soon. They are men and women after mine on heart. “They have come out of the great tribulation, they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb,” they have remained FOCUSED, and ENDURED to the end. Come my Children and ENTER INTO MY KINGDOM.

WHERE DOES A CHILD OF GOD FIT INTO A PLUTOCRACY SOCIETY?

“No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money. Matthew 6:24 (ESV)

PLUTOCRACY: A government or state in which the wealthy class rules.

OLIGARCHY: a form of government in which all power is vested in a dominant class.

My friends “The historian Plutarch warned us long ago of what happens when there is no brake on the power of great wealth to subvert the electorate. “The abuse of buying and selling votes,” he wrote of Rome, “crept in and money began to play an important part in determining elections.

Later on, this process of corruption spread in the law courts and to the army, and finally, when even the sword became enslaved by the power of gold, the republic was subjected to the rule of emperors.”A SYNOPSIS OF THE 21 CENTURY SOCIETY, we live in.

But, what you are seeing in our society today will no longer be solved, at marches, rallies, or sit-in’s, like in the sixties. But only when God say’s “IT IS  FINISHED”. But today God is calling each of His children to focus on finishing this journey He has placed us on, as we make the god of this world irreverent, where he along with “the root of all evil” money, rules the heart and mind of the majority even if you have it or not.

My friends we must never stop seeking a PASSION for the PRESENCE of God until we can see the clouds open, and our Savior enters with “ten thousand, times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands of voices uniting and swelling the sky in a mighty chorus of praise, and” Halleluiah.

Today, the “AMERICAN OLIGARCHY” bows down to the Golden Calf as they repeat the words Oh heavenly wealth, hallowed be thy name, It’s US against THEM.

But “all the riches that the wealthiest ever possessed will not be of sufficient value to cover the smallest sin before God. Repentance, true humility, a broken heart and a contrite spirit, alone will be accepted of him.”(White)

“The haughty looks of man shall be brought low, and the lofty pride of men shall be humbled, and the Lord alone will be exalted in that day. For the Lord of hosts has a day against all that is proud and lofty, against all that is lifted up and it shall be brought low.” Isaiah 2:11-12 (ESV)

Friends we must never get discouraged about what we don’t have as long as we Have God’s assurance that His Son suffered and DIED FOR EVERYONE. Rev. 22:12 (NIV) tells us “I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to EACH PERSON according to what they have done.”

That verse tells me that God has no respecter of person no matter what class you belong to. So friends let’s all get to work. There is a world that must be informed, whether RICH or POOR,  1%ters  OR THE 47% of the good news of Salvation and Christ soon return.

God calls you today Like The words in the marriage vows say. God is asking us to”FORSAKE ALL OTHERS” There can be only one Master, and Satan has told everyone who will listen that your Master can be money in a world where only a few whose eyes are not centered on Christ determines whether the poor eat or not.

1 Timothy 6:10 (ESV) tells us “For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the FAITH, and pierced themselves with many pangs” My friends God is calling us into A relationship with him today through His Word and Spirit as we finish His work here on earth.

This earth will be destroyed soon as “lawlessness continues to abound, and the love of many continues to grow cold, (against the have nots) But he who endures to the end shall be saved.” So keep your focus on Christ, Like a compass needle, that always points north, never lose sight of Him. “for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12 (ESV) And that name is Jesus Christ. Not the love of Money

ARE YOU LISTENING FOR THAT STILL SMALL VOICE?

“Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” “Psalm 46:10 (ESV)

The prophet Elijah, the one who sits now in the heavenly realms in God’s kingdom. The one who along with Moses was sent by the father to comfort Christ on the Mount of transfiguration. Also on Mount Carmel, he inspired repentance from God’s chosen who had turned their attention and commitment to other gods.

As he spoke the words “How long halt ye between two opinions? If the Lord be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word. 1 King 18:21 (KJV) But upon seeing the power of God through Elijah who brought down fire.

1 kings 18:39 (KJV) tells us, they fell on their faces: and they said, The Lord, he is the God; the Lord, he is the God.” Then Elijah called on the people to slay the 450 prophets of Ba’al and 400 prophets of Asherah. Then calling on God again, it  rains after a three year drought.

Oh what FAITH, as God’s chosen, we should all have as we move closer to Christ second coming. BUT, here comes that word again. Why my friends do we allow the BUT of discouragement, the BUT of depression, and the BUT of temptations to take us in another direction, other than where God is trying to lead us on this journey He has us on.

BUT, upon hearing of Elijah’s Victories Jezebel “sent a messenger unto Elijah, saying, So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I make not thy life as the life of one of them by tomorrow about this time.” 1 Kings 19:2 (KJV)

Elijah at that moment literally ran for his life. “The moment of Elijah’s greatest victory became the very context for his greatest temptation, as he was devastated, discouraged and depressed to the point of hopeless despair by Jezebel’s vengeful threat to kill him.”

Completely alone, Elijah takes refuge in a cave, but my friends there is no hiding place from God He sees everything. But a word came from the Lord “What are you doing here, Elijah?” Elijah complains, forgetting all that God had done for him up to this point, sounds like you and I doesn’t it my friends.

God tells him to, “Go stand upon the mount” “And, behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces; but the Lord was not in the wind: then the wind an earthquake; but the Lord was not in the earthquake: then fire; but the Lord was not in the fire: AND THEN A STILL SMALL VOICE.” 1 Kings 19:11-12

This is where I need you to focus on today my friends, that STILL SMALL VOICE of God. You would think that the creator of our universe, it would be impossible for Him to speak lightly, but my friends for our benefit He uses A STILL SMALL VOICE.  for there must be a PASSION from within to hear HIS VOICE and we also must “Be still, and know that he is God.”  In every situation and circumstances in our life.

The secret of true obedience is having a close and personal relationship with God as we seek HIS STILL SMALL VOICE with a PASSION to be in His PRESENCE. Every day we must have total access through God’s SPIRIT in the abiding PRESENCE FELLOWSHIP, and LOVE of Jesus Christ.

And that only comes through the continuously purifying power of God’s Word and The blood of Jesus Christ that cleanseth us from all sin.”  as we allow God’s spirit to take full and complete CONTROL and once we have allowed this to happen we will then here that STILL SMALL VOICE.

We then put on His whole armor, that each of His FAITHFUL “may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.” And once our Focus is only on God we must be prepared to act on what ever He ask of us.” My friends God is finishing up His work on earth and he needs you to prepare your HEART, MIND and BODY for whatever he may ask. BUT only if your PASSION is in hearing God’s STILL SMALL VOICE as he leads us to HIS KINGDOM and LIFE ETERNAL.
